Control System of Service Robot for Hospital (병원용 서비스 로봇의 제어시스템)

  • This paper addresses a hybrid control architecture for the hospital service robot, SmartHelper. In hybrid architecture, the deliberation takes place at planning layer while the reaction is dealt through the parallel execution of operations. Hence, the system presents both a hierarchical and an heterarchical decomposition, being able to show a predictable response while keeping rapid reactivity to the dynamic environment. The deliberative controller accomplishes four functions which are path generation, selection of navigation way, command and monitoring. The reactive controller uses fuzzy and potential field method for robot navigation. Through simulation under a virtual environment IGRIP, the effectiveness of the hybrid architecture is verified.

  • As the usage of electron electricity is rapidly increasing, corresponding accidents also take place proportionately. Although various losses occur very often because of senility of system and maintenance, only a earth leakage current breaker by a leakage current alert is used. That means it is always fraught with dander. This paper, we propose to measure and cut a leakage current and method of taking a measurement current short circuit. Besides, through keeping watch communication with server, prevent electric loss and mishap in advance.

  • In this paper it is purpose that reduces joint torques and their rate of change through optimizing trajectory planning of biped walking machine. The motion of biped walking machine is divided into leg motion for walking and body motion for keeping balance. The leg motion is planned by three phases, that are deploy, swing, and place phases, in terms of the state of foot against floor. The distribution of time assigned to each phase is optimized and that causes leg joint torques and their rate of change to minimize. The body notion is produced by using optimal control theory which minimizes body joint torques and satisfies Z.M.P. constraints defined as region of each phase.

The Study on the Satisfaction of Customers for Hotel Restaurant (호텔 레스토랑 고객의 만족에 관한 연구)

  • For the successful hotel restaurant, careful research on the customers needs, their changes and the understanding should be on the first step. The aim of this study is to find out hotel restaurant user's satisfaction factors and provide useful information for the decision of its marketing policy. Questionnaire survey, after the preliminary survey, had been performed from 23 Sep 2002 to 02 Oct 2002, for 10 days. 240 questionnaires had been collected and 25 excepted which filled out not properly. 215(86%) questionnaires are included for the analysis. For the enhancement of hotel restaurant customers' satisfaction degree, following suggestions are recommended. The development of distinct hotel service is needed. Also the effort for making hotel buffet restaurant not only for dining place but also customers oriented facilities, with various events and shows, is required. Periodical checking on the food quality, presenting new menu to the customers and keeping consistent food taste and quality areneeded. The studies on the diverse ways for specified and new customers, such as advertisement, promotion, easy access to the hotel restaurant, discount coupon and customer smilage service are needed.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of 'Nomadic thought' in interior space through the understanding and interpretation of the contemporary nomadic life. The citizens in modern times lead a nomadic life on the move rather than settle down in place, and this pattern of life is going with increasing speed keeping in step with the development of the Internet.   • Recently interest on DC systems has been grown up extensively for more efficient connection with renewable energy. During the operation, there happens DC_link voltage variations. This paper focuses on the DC voltage stabilization applied in stand-alone DC microgrid to improve the system stability by keeping the voltage within limits. Batteries and a variable speed diesel generator cover the shortage of power after all available renewable energy is consumed. Load shedding or power generation reduction should automatically takes place if the maximum tolerable voltage variation is exceeded. PSIM based simulation results are presented to evaluate the performance of the proposed control measures.

  • The unmanned vehicle is composed of three parts the front & side sensor system for keeping the lane and avoiding obstacles, the acceleration & brake control system for longitudinal motion control, and the steering control system for the lateral motion control. Each system helps the unmanned vehicle of which should take notice of its location and recognize obstacles around the place by itself and make a decision how much fast to proceed according to circumstances. During the operation, the control strategy that the vehicle can detect obstacles and avoid collision on the road involves with vehicle velocity very much.
