湛江地名文化的考究

  • In this paper, a total of 4413 place names are collected to analyze the origin and structure of place names from the two categories of nature and humanity. In this collection, there are slightly more natural place-names than humanistic ones, and hydrological ones account for the largest proportion of natural place-names, reflecting the geographical characteristics of Leizhou Peninsula surrounded by sea on three sides. Most of the place names handed down from the feudal period were natural ones. In addition, most of the place names produced after the founding of the People's Republic of China are mainly humanistic place names. In the phonetic aspect of place names, there are still quite a few ancient Vietnamese place names that can be remembered because of oral transmission. With the progress of cultural and economic development, the further development of place names will be dominated by humanistic place names.

Study on Safety Consideration of ELF Magnetic Fields Emanating from Power Transmission Line for Electric Railways (전철용 성전선로에서 발생되는 극저주파 자기장의 안전성에 관한연구)

  • This paper shows that the configuration of power transmission lines currently in place is suitable on the basis of calculated magnetic field strengths. The magnetic fields were computed for typical current distributions on power transmission lines for electric railways, which are characterized by severe load fluctuations and phase distortions. The result of the numerical analysis are compared with th ELF guidelines of magnetic fields from several case studies. The final conclusion reached in that effects of the magnetic fields near power transmission lines for electric railways are not significant enough to cause a biological safety concern.

  • To identify characterization of a simple extension chamber that have the two internal partition, produce the curve to estimate the transmission loss without the computer analysis. For helpful for internal optimum design, identify the characteristic of internal partition on transmission loss. Made estimated transmission loss curve by function of relationship of internal partition and transmission. Check the similarity of predicted transmission loss and analysis transmission loss. Usage of the predicted transmission loss made by relationship of internal partition and transmission loss is good information to place the internal partition so as to maximize the transmission loss on target frequency at optimal design on muffler.

  • X-MAC reduces transmission delay and energy consumption by using a short preamble instead of the existing long preamble. To solve the problem of X-MAC, this paper proposes a new MAC protocol called Express-MAC. The wireless sensor network is mainly used for the purpose of gathering event data or situation information. Especially, the transmission pattern of the sensor network with the purpose of event detection such as intrusion detection is very intermittent as well as successively occurring when a single event takes place in most cases. By reflecting sensor network's key transmission patterns as above, EX-MAC has used multi-hub path's path reservation system and awake section's transmission time reservation method in data transmission when the first event takes place. The awake time reservation in transmission path has improved successive data transmission's end-to-end delay, and it has also increased efficiency in terms of energy consumption by reducing the preamble length of data transmission and reception node.

Prediction of Noise & Vibration Effect of Agricultural Tractor Transmission at Design Stage

  • At design stage of the TRXI agricultural tractor transmission (New product of TongYang Moolsan Co., Ltd), the noise and vibration of the transmission were analyzed theoretically for the optimal design of the transmission . For this analysis, the finite element model was developed using a commercial computer software, ANSYS. The noise and vibration of the TRXI transmission housing were predicted by the modal analysis. Natural frequency of the TRXI transmission housing was ranged from 12.53Hz(1st mode ) to 30.05Hz(5th mode). The fifth mode took place at the bearing metal in the area of rear transmission housing and was very close to the gear mesh frequency (30.5Hz) of low rang gear at the low creep shifting . Based on the results , the bearing metal of the range shift housing was reenforced with the rib at design stage.

Asymmetricity of Optical Phase Conjugation in Optical Transmission Links with Dispersion Management (분산 제어가 적용된 광전송 링크에서 광 위상 공액의 비대칭성)

  • Limitation of optical phase conjugation for implementation of wideband and long-haul WDM transmission system is symmetric distribution of optical power and local dispersion with respect to optical phase conjugator (OPC). This limitation forces OPC to place at midway of total transmission length. This paper shows that the limitation of optical phase conjugation is overcame by applying optimal net residual dispersion (NRD) into transmission links based in inline dispersion management (DM). Optimal NRD related with OPC position is decided by combination of precompensation and postcompensation. It is confirmed that optimal NRD depends on launch power of WDM channels and system performance criterion as well as OPC position. That is, in case of 1 dB eye opening penaty (EOP) as a performance criterion for WDM channels with 0 dBm launch power, it is confirmed that OPC is allowed to place at anywhere of 1000 km by applying best NRD related with exact OPC position into transmission links. And, it is confirmed that, under 3 dB EOP criterioin for WDM channels with 3 dBm launch power, OPC is allowed to place at 350~700 km by applying NRD between 100 ps/nm and 200 ps/nm into transmission links, though that NRD value is not best combination of precompensation and postcompensation.

  • In a commercial facsimile network system, a simulation analysis has been performed using ARENA due to the unavailability of theoretical models. The effect of a priority is compared with that of the current FCFS rule on the arriving call blocking rate and transmission time delay. The result shows that the priority rule reduces more service time delay as the arrival rate increases. A simulation analysis procedure is proposed to select optimal in/out port ratio at various hourly arrival rates with a given multiple-place transmission requests ratio.

Experimental Study for Nerve Regeneration Using Tubes Filled with Autogenous Skeletal Muscle in a Gap of Rabbit Sciatic Nerves (백색 가토 좌골 신경의 신경 결손부위에서 자가 골격근 충진 도관을 이용한 신경재생 연구)

  • The bridging of nerve gaps is still one of the major problems in peripheral nerve surgery. To evaluate the role of silicon tube in nerve regeneration, gaps were made by resection of tibial components of sciatic nerves of twenty-five New Zealand rabbits. The gaps were divided into five groups. In group I, the tibial components of sciatic nerves were isolated and the incision immediately closed. In group II, 1-cm segments of the nerve were removed and the silicon tubes filled with autogenous skeletal muscle were sutured in place. In group III, 1-cm segments of the nerve were removed and the silicon tubes filled without muscle were sutured in place. In group IV, 2-cm segments of the nerve were removed and the silicon tubes filled with autogenous skeletal muscle were sutured in place. In group V, 2-cm segments of the nerve were removed and the silicon tubes filled without muscle were sutured in place. At 16th week, the eletromyography, the light and transmission electron microscopy were performed. Nerve conduction study stimulating sciatic nerve proximal to the lesion and recording at gastrocnemius muscle showed that the compound muscle action potentials of the group II with 1 cm nerve defect filled with muscle were higher amplitudes than the group III without muscle. Compound muscle action potentials of the group IV with 2 cm defect filled with muscle showed similar results in comparison with the group V. The light and transmission electron microscpy showed that a good morphological pattern of nerve regeneration in 1 cm gap than 2 cm and in gap with muscle than gap without muscle.

  • Distance relay is being used for transmission line protection. Recently, current differential relay is used with high reliability in power system. This kind of relay is reported that it has a reliable detection ability, even so high impedance faults take place in transmission line. Therefore it is expected to use and expand widely in many utilities. Tripping of the relay is decided according to the difference between differential and restraint current. However the tripping criterion can be changed by the manufacturers. This paper presents an operational scheme of current differential relay for transmission line protection with graphical model. It is developed for educational purpose for students interesting in power system and protection engineer in utility. MATLAB is used to establish the models.

Analysis of Transmission Infrared Laser Bonding for Polymer Micro Devices (폴리머 마이크로 장치에 대한 레이저 투과 마이크로 접합)

  • A precise bonding technique, transmission laser bonding using energy transfer, for polymer micro devices is presented. The irradiated IR laser beam passes through the transparent part and absorbed on the opaque part. The absorbed energy is converted into heat and bonding takes place. In order to optimize the bonding quality, the temperature profile on the interface must be obtained. Using optical measurements of the both plates, the absorbed energy can be calculated. At the wavelength of 1100nm $87.5\%$ of incident laser energy was used for bonding process from the calculation. A heat transfer model was applied for obtaining the transient temperature profile. It was found that with the power of 29.5 mW, the interface begins to melt and bond each other in 3 sec and it is in a good agreement with experiment results. The transmission IR laser bonding has a potential in the local precise bonding in MEMS or Lab-on-a-chip applications.
