1. Objectives Jeong-Jo's death has many mistery. So we understand rightly Jeong-Jo's death. we inspect closely medical records of 20 days before death(in The Annals of the Choson Dynasty(朝鮮王朝實錄), Hong Je Jun Se(弘齋全書)， GukSoBoGam(國朝寶鑑). We understand medical treatment before death. It is based on Jeong-Jo's Constitution. So we trace the cause of a Jeong-Jo's death rightly. 2. Methods According to The Annals of the Choson Dynasty(朝鮮王朝實錄), Hong Je Jun Se(弘齋全書) GukSoBoGam(國朝寶鑑). We found out Jeoung-Jo's Sasang constitutional elemet. We point on Jeoung-Jo's nature and emotion, temperament and talent, features and way of speaking, physical appearance, healthy state, ordinary symptom, pathological syndromes and pharmacology. so documentary records was worthy of notice. 3. Results and conclusions 1. Jeong-Jo has prominent cheekbones,flat face. It belong to Tae-eum. 2. Jeong-Jo's physical appearance is mild,around,large. It belong ro Tae-eum. 3. Jeong-Jo's favorite food and herb were belong to Tae-eum interior febrile disease herb. which is Exhale Dispersing Qi 4. So even though Jeoung-Jo is Tae-eum, He had a weak body. It main cause that Smoking, insomnia, heave work, Hwa disease. 5. Jeong-Jo's is Interior febrile disease induced form the liver affected by heat in Tae-eumin

The paper is concerned about the discovery of new physics of the old oriental philosophy of the yin-Yang '||'&'||' five elements. the physical properties of Five Elements are defined, similarly as in thermodynamics, as five different characteristic state in a cyclic system of nature or a human body. Wood is defined as "warm and soft", Fire as "hot and dispersive", Earth as "agglomerating and sticky", Metal as "tensile and crystallizing", and Water as "cool and slippery" state, respectively. Based on the physics of Five Elements and Qi channel theory, five different constitution classification s are made according to the shape of human face, such as long, inverse triangle, circle, square, and triangle geometry, respectively.Since the constitution implies the relative size or strength of 5 major organs, this theory can be applies successfully to the prediction of the susceptibility to specific diseases as well as the analyses of personal character such as emotion and sensibility. The specific character is analyzed with four different aspects; that is, the first and second are caused by the positive and negative side of the strongest organ, the third character by determined the weakest organ, and finally the fourth by the abnormal psychology due to serious illness.bnormal psychology due to serious illness.

It is over 100 years after Lee Je Ma has proposed concept of the Sasang constitutional medicine in his book DongEuiSooSeBoWon in 1894. As well known, this concept describes four constitution of Taeyang, Taeum, Soyang, and Soeum which are deals with physical body status and shape, desease and symptoms, personal characters, and organ function. In these days there are growing needs to elucidate this Sasang concept by the scientific manner, especially by biological tools. However there are no genes revealed related to the Sasang and moreover it is not easy to give a biological evidence for the Sasang constitution. Here are some considerations about the brief history of biological research on the Sasang constitution, and some prospectives of how to do to find genes of Sasang, and which to be done for what is about Sasang.

Objectives The purpose of this study was to survey changes in symptoms caused by Sasang medicines. Methods We recruited 45 subjects who were classified 15 typical Soeumin, Soyangin, Taeumin and did a survey about symptoms. We split Soeumin into 3 groups and prescribed medicines Palmulgunja-tang, Yanggyuksanhwa-tang, Taeumjowi-tang. We did same process in Soyangin and Taeumin. After taking medicines for 4 weeks, we did a survey about physical changes. Results There was no consistent changes in symptoms. But medicines which were not suitable to their Sasang constitution induced known reactions. And medicines which were suitable to their Sasang constitution induced reactions. Conclusions Changes in symptoms appeared after taking medicine, but they can be induced by medicine.

There is a considerable community between Eight Constitution Medicine and disease ecology in that they examine the relationship between humans and environment in terms of genetic, environmental and cultural factors, in addition to the factor of germs. In this respect, the purpose of this research aims to investigate the community between Eight Constitution Medicine, a branch of Eastern Medicine and disease ecology in geography. The research method is to analyse the clinical results from 647 patients and the data from a field survey on the Yeonggwang-gun County, Jeollanam-do Province. The results are summarized as the following: First, geographical distribution of patients varies depending on the type of physical constitution; it is also divided into two types, an oceanic type and an inland type. Second, it is highly probable that there is a significant relation between a vulnerable disease in association with a type of physical constitution and patient's native place; there are diseases that are not associated with all the patients who have the same constitution; they might be incurred by the eating or life habits in association with the characteristics of geographical environment. Third, the case study of Yeonggwang-gun County, Jeollanam-do Province, with a focus on the mutual relationship among the three factors. shows that patients, who share in common the eating or life habits that coincide with their own personal types of constitution, maintain a good health condition; if not, they tend to be exposed to a various kinds of disease. Because the study on the community between Eight Constitution Medicine and disease ecology is now at the early stage, diverse types of approaches should be tried to be applied in the future.

The Purposes of this study were to find complementary connectible new factors that analyzed correlation relate of Sasang Constitution and GCM Body Type in Static Posture and Dynamic Hyper/Hypo-mobility Pattern. Method of this study was asymtomatic volunteers 232(unmarried man and women), conducted from September 1 to December 31. In this main study progressing step diagnosised first, Constitution of Sasang medicine after being classified into four groups of Soyangin, Taeumin, Soeumin, Taeyangin diagnosis of GCM Body Type and progressed that related Static Posture and Dynamic Hyper/Hypo mobility Pattern. The results are as follows. Distribution of Sasang Medicine Constitution proved to be Taeyangin 13, Soyangin 66, Taeumin 67, Soeumin 86 respectively. Distribution of GCM Body Type proved I Body Type 72(31.0%), II Body Type 54(23.3%), III Body Type 89(38.4%), IV Body Type 17(7.3%). The distribution of Sasang Constitution according to GCM Body Type was that; I Body Type was distributed in the order Soeumin 34.7%(25), Taeumin 31.9%(23), Soyangin 30.6%(22), Soeumin 34.7%(25) is the most people. II Body Type was distribution of in the order Soeumin 42.6%(23), Soyangin 5.9%(14), Taeumin 24.1%(13), Soeumin 42.6%(23) is the most people. III Body Type was distribution of in the order Soeumin 37.1%(33), Taeumin 30.3%(27), Soyangin 28.1%(25), Soeumin 37.1% is the most people. IV Body Type proved high distribution each of Soeumin 29.4%(5) and Soyangin 29.4%(5). In case of main left side posture character of spine and limbs about I Body Type 72 persons with left scapular and ilium forward tilted pattern proved in the order high distribution iliac crest thigh and scapular high 70(97.2%), gluteal fold high and scapular abduction 69(95.8%), lumbar scoliosis 65(90.3%). Also, in case of right side posture character proved in the order high distribution deep gluteal fold 69(95.8%), umbilical deviation 68(94.4%). Incase of main left side posture character of spine and limbs about n Body Type 54 persons proved in the: order high distribution knee hyperextension 50(92.6%), shoulder deviation 49(90.7%) etc. Also, in case of right side posture character proved in the order high distribution pelvic deviation 53(98.1%), iliac crest thigh 52(96.3%), hip flexion and ankle inversion 51(94.4%) etc. In case of main left side posture character of spine and limbs about III Body Type 89 persons proved in the order high distribution shoulder deviation 87(97.8%), scapular abduction 86(96.6%), scapular high 85(95.5%) etc. And in case of right side posture character proved in the order high distribution pelvic deviation and iliac crest thigh 86(96.6%) etc. In case of main left side posture character of spine and limbs about IV Body Type 17 persons proved in the order high distribution pelvic deviation, lumbar sciliosis and lumbar lordosis increase 15(88.2%) etc. Also, in case of right side posture character proved in the order high distribution wrist dorsiflexion 16(94.1%), thickened achilles tendon etc.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to find the relationship between Chiljeong, as a stress factor and pathological symptoms, by using Several Mood state Questionnaires. Methods: A total of 144 students of Dongshin University Oriental Medicine responded to the Questionnaires for Sasang Constitution Classification II (QSCCII) and regarding several mood states. In this study, 132 students' data were used, excluding the data from 12 of the students. The included 132 students were classified into four groups according to QSCCII. The effects of Chiljeong as a stress factor in diseases were determined by Several mood state Questionnaires. These data were analyzed by frequency, Person's chi-square Test, ANOVA, Scheffe, Multiple Comparison, and Correlation using IBM SPSS 19.0K for Windows. Results: 1. Sasang Constitution made no difference on the level of mood and the variability of mood. 2. In physical symptoms scale, the average of "Noh" was higher than that of other emotions in Gastrointestinal, Cardiovascular, and Pain symptoms. The average of "Gyeong" was higher than that of other emotions in Insomnia symptoms.

Nowadays, this Ayurveda is coming to be accommodated and executed partially in various fields, with the name 'an alterative medicine', not only in the medical treatment territory but also in the beauty care territory. In this way, under the basic rules of the harmony with nature, we have investigated several documents with a view to grasp Ayurveda's principles which are being applied to skin beauty care and to indicate the accurate grounds and directions. However, there were not many data which have been verified scientifically yet, so we had many difficulties researching it. From now, It is thought that we need much research about more objective data and clinical aspects. As the result of this research, according to Ayurveda, it is the principles of Ayurveda that we all are governed by three kinds of Dosha which are called Vata, Pitta, Kapha and when their balance is broken up. we get diseases physically or mentally. That is, we need the aquisition following each physical constitution, in order for this principle to approach to the field of skin beauty care. Futhermore, it is expected that we will be able to improve much more effects by managing so as to follow each own's physical constitution.

본 논문에서는 한방 8체질 및 신체정보 관련 데이터셋을 바탕으로 개인 맞춤 식품 및 식단을 추천하는 데이터베이스의 설계·구축을 수행한다. 또한 이 시스템을 이용하여 추천된 식품(식단)과 희망하는 지역을 입력했을 때 선별된 음식점 정보를 제공한다. 데이터베이스 생성 프로세스와 수집한 데이터를 통해 데이터베이스 설계, 데이터 수집, 생산 및 처리 예제, 데이터베이스 활용 등에 대해 다양한 방법을 제공한다. 일상생활에서 데이터베이스 시스템을 활용함으로써, 이 시스템은 한의원 또는 전문채널을 통해 알 수 있었던 맞춤 식단 정보를 대중에 공개되어 정보 진입장벽을 낮추고 편의성을 도모한다. 이로써 오늘날 고령 사회에 진입한 대한민국에서 국민들이 건강한 식생활을 지원하여 궁극적으로 국민 건강 증진에 기여한다.

Over the last years several studies have been carried out in the welfare facilities for the elderly in Japan. These have mainly focused on small scale projects, multi-functional houses and on the improvement of specifically designed equipments. This study examines the residents' life patterns and using patterns in group living having various space constitution and, does it for the purpose of looking for the formation of well state places, life patterns and the domains to use spaces for the aged who became independent. I intend to grasp their life patterns by physical space constitution and to show a direction of the house form that they can live in while feeling relieved in areas.
