  • From reverse-engineering's point of view, the main step is the digitizing or gathering three-dimensional points on the target physical model. As well known, the touch or scanning probe gives higher accuracy, while the non-contact digitizing apparatus by use of laser or structured light can rapidly obtain digitized points of great bulk without contacting onto the part surface of the physical model. We propose a digitizing methodology by use of the LK-031 laser displacement sensor, which was tested with a physical model.

  • Synthetic leather added collagen protein was coagulated in DMF solution. With increasing collagen concentration, thickness of synthetic leather increased. In addition, water vapor permeability and water vapor absoption increased with increasing collagen protein concentration. But MIU and SMD value of surface properties decreased with increasing collagen protein concentration. As a result, synthetic leather added collagen protein showed comfort and dry touch.

  • This paper describes the development of general purpose operator interface which uses a color graphics terminal with a touch-sensitive screen as the control console. Operators interact with a process through a collection of application-dependent displays generated interactively by users familiar with the physical process. The use of real-time operating system(iRMX-86) and multitasking results in a straightforward and reliable development which may easily be extended to support multiple devices of varying types in the control console.

  • Radio-frequency(RF) weldable polyurethane-coated fabric was prepared by knife coating of presetted and cire-finished nylon fabric using optimized coating formulation including RF-sensitive commercial polyurethane resins. The physical properties, adhesion strength, peeling strength, abrasion strength, flexibility, and hydrostatic water resistance of the prepared coated fabric were good enough to show no significant difference with regular coating. Additionally the prepared coated fabric had silky and soft touch without tackiness.

  • 인간의 경험은 시각적 청각적 자극과 함께 물리적인 상호작용, 즉 직접적인 신체감각의 접촉을 통해 다차원적으로 정보를 인식할 때 보다 효율적이다. 특히 게임분야에서 게임을 즐김으로써 얻을 수 있는 만족감 내지는 몰입감은 사용자에게 전달되는 다양한 신체감각에 대한 피드백이 복합적으로 이루어졌을 때 효과적이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 시각과 청각의 전달에 의존하고 있는 기존의 온라인게임 분야에서 사용자들의 다양한 요구를 충족시킬 수 있는 체감형 시스템에 대해 분석하였으며 적용방법에 대해 연구하였다.

맛사지가 슬 근 신장성에 미치는 영향 (A Study of the Effects of Massage on Hamstring Muscles Extensibility)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the specificity of the effort of massage on hamstring muscles extensibility a9 measured by fingertip to floor test. The participant were healthy young men(n=25). Manual massage was applied to the posterior aspects of the both thigh (hamsting portion) during 20 mins. We measured four times ; that is, after rest 20 mins-before massage, immediately after massage, immediately after massage and 20 mins. after massage. As the middle fingers are reaching beyond the floor level, the level was considered as ( + ) level. And the middle fingers did not touch the 리oor, the level was considered as ( - ) level. Results were as fellows : 1) There was significant difference between group 1 and group 2(P<0.05), 2) There was no significant difference between group 2 and group 3(P>0.05). 3) There was no significant difference between group 3 and group 4(P>0.05). Therefore, the extensibility of hamstring muscles was increased after massage more than rest during 20 mins, before massage, and the effects of massage application were prolonged during 20 mins, after massage.

Comparison of Feasibility of Touch-Based Cognitive Training Games in Community Elderly and Elderly with Minor Dementia

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to select a cognitive training game that can evaluate five cognitive domains and to study their validity with existing cognitive evaluation tools. Design: Methods: Delphi survey was conducted through the 2nd questionnaire for 30 experts to select games suitable for training 5 cognitive domains. Five cognitive training games and Mini Mental State Examination - Korea(MMSE-K), and cognitive impairment screening test(CIST) were conducted for 82 elderly in the community. Pearson correlation analysis was performed to find out the correlation of the three tests. The ROC curve was used to calculate the selection criteria for the game results for the screening evaluation of the presence or absence of mild cognitive impairment. Results: The coefficient of variation to evaluate the stability of the Delphi survey was less than 0.50 in most game items. The 'correct answers' and 'level' of the five final selected game items showed a statistically significant positive correlation with the CIST and MMSE-K scores. CIST score and 'time' of all game items except 'number making_time' showed a statistically significant negative correlation. Conclusions: The validity of the cognitive training program using smart devices was evaluated, and the criteria for classifying the cognitive domain and distinguishing the presence or absence of cognitive impairment were confirmed.

오프라인 소매점의 모바일 할인 서비스에 대한 전략적 분석 (Game Theoretic Analysis of the Mobile Discount Service of the Offline Retailers)

  • The proliferation of the Internet and related technologies has led to a new form of distribution channels, namely online retailers. The conventional offline and the new online retailers have different transaction costs perceived by the consumers in the following perspectives: the accessibility to the product information, the traffic cost and the opportunity cost for the time to visit the store, the delivery time and the possibility of 'touch and feel' to test the quality of the product. In particular, the online retailers have lower distribution cost structure in that they do not have physical stores, which results in lower selling price. Thus they continuously offer price competition against offline retailers using the lower selling cost as competitive weapon. Moreover the emergence of the social commerce is likely to intensify the competition between the online and offline retailers. To survive in this fierce competition, the offline retailers are trying to defend their business interests by sticking to offline transaction in anticipation of increased customer loyalty, customer's preference for 'touch and feel' style shopping, and others. Despite of these efforts, customers who touch and feel a product in an offline store but purchase the product through an online retailer are increasing. To protect such customers, recently, some of the offline retailers began to provide the mobile discount service (MDS) which enables the offline customers to purchase a product at a discounted price through the mobile applications. In business competitions, the price discount strategy is usually considered to secure more market share at the cost of lower profit. In this study, however, we analyze the effect of MDS as a weapon for securing more profit. To do this, we set up a game model between the online and offline retailers which incorporates the effect of the MDS. By numerically analyzing the Nash equilibrium of the game, some managerial implications for using the MDS for more profit are discussed.

야간 라이딩을 위한 스마트 애슬레져 패션디자인 개발 연구 (A Study on the Development of Smart Athleisure Fashion Design for Night Riding)

  • 본 연구는 야간 라이딩을 위한 패브릭 일렉트로닉스 기반의 안전 보호용 스마트 애슬레져 패션 개발 연구를 목적으로 하며 인간 친화성이 강화된 Fabric LED Display와 Fabric Capacitive touch sensor를 전도성 원사를 개발 및 활용하여 탈·부착 형태로 설계하여 구현하였다. 이러한 모듈의 탈·부착성은 다른 애슬레져 제품과 기능적·심미적인 요소를 교환 및 호환을 할 수 있도록 설계하여 기능뿐만 아니라 디자인의 다양화가 가능한 커스터마이즈 시스템으로 기존 제품들과 차별화된 스마트 애슬레져 패션 제품을 제안하였다는 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다. 후속 연구에서는 Fabric Electronics를 활용하여 착용성과 유연성이 강화된 직물의 물리적 속성에 적합한 직물센서를 개발하고 이를 활용한 커스터마이즈 스마트 패션을 제시할 예정이다.

플로팅 홀로그램을 이용한 인터랙티브 사이니지 개발 (Development of Interactive Signage using Floating Hologram)

  • 홀로그램 기술과 ICT 기술의 접목을 통해 우수한 제품과 서비스가 가능한 소상공인의 경쟁력을 확보하는데 도움을 줄 수 있는 플로팅 홀로그램 기반 인터랙티브 사이니지 시스템을 개발하였다. 개발된 인터랙티브 사이니지 시스템은 소상공인의 홍보와 마케팅에 저비용으로 활용 가능하며 3D 홀로그램 영상으로 메뉴를 소개하고 사용자의 손동작에 반응하는 다양한 콘텐츠 제공도 가능하다. 개발된 시스템은 립모션 인식 범위가 좌우 60cm, 150도 내 반경에서 10개의 손가락 움직임을 초당 290프레임 속도로 감지할 수 있는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 립 모션 오브젝트의 물리적 접촉 실험을 통해 립모션 기기 가까이서 사용자의 동작 인식을 호버 존과 터치 존으로 기능 영역을 구분하여 가상 터치 기능이 정상적으로 동작하는 것을 확인하였다.
