핸드볼 선수들의 12주간 플라이휠 운동을 활용한 웨이트 트레이닝이 체력요인, 무산소성파워 및 등속성근기능에 미치는 영향 (The effect of 12-week Weight training with Flywheel Exercise on Physical Fitness Factors, Anaerobic Power, and Isokinetic Muscle Function in Professional Handball Players)

  • 본 연구에서는 남자 실업팀 핸드볼 선수들을 대상으로 플라이휠 운동을 적용한 웨이트 트레이닝 프로그램을 개발하여 상해예방과 경기력 향상을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 12주간 복합 플라이휠 운동 프로그램을 적용하여 신체조성, 체력요인, 무산소성파워, 등속성근기능에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 팔굽혀펴기는 그룹 간 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 체지방률, 무산소성 파워는 시기별 상호작용에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 제자리멀리뛰기, 제자리높이뛰기, 악력, 배근력, 무산소성평균파워 그리고 등속성근기능검사는 좌굴근과 우굴근에서 시기별로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 따라서 12주간 플라이휠 운동을 활용한 웨이트 트레이닝 결과는 상해예방과 경기력 향상을 위한 기초자료로 제공할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

웰니스 건강 증진 프로그램 참여에 따른 고령자 건강생활습관 변화 (Changes in Life Habits of Health Associated with Participation in a Wellness Improvement Program in the Elderly)

  • 본 연구는 고령자의 건강증진에 도움을 주고자 노인종합복지시설을 이용하는 고령자들을 대상으로 신체형태 구성과 노인체력, 생활습관 및 영양수준을 파악한 후 고령자들에게 웰니스 건강증진 프로그램을 12주간 실시하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫쨰, 성별에 따른 연령별 신체구성형태 변화 중 남자는 BMI 변화에서 유의한 차가 나타났고, 여자는 BMI, 체지방율 변화에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 성별에 따른 연령별 노인체력 변화 중 남자는 하체근력, 상체근력, 상체유연성, 변형 전신지구력 변화에서 유의한 차가 나타났고, 여자는 하체근력, 상체근력 변화에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 셋쨰, 성별에 따른 연령별 생활습관 및 영양수준 변화 중 남자는 식생활습관, 운동습관에서 유의한 차가 나타났고, 여자는 운동습관, 스트레스 해소습관과 총 영양 수준 변화에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 이러한 결론을 종합하면, 고령자의 웰니스 증진 건강프로그램 참여는 신체구성과 일상생활의 많은 활동과 낙상에 위험요소인 하체근력을 강화시키고, 일상생활 물건의 운반과 이동에 용이한 상체근력도 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 식생활습관을 개선시키고, 스트레스해소습관과 운동습관 변화에도 긍정적 역할을 하여 고령자의 건강에 도움을 주고 삶의 질을 향상시킬 것으로 생각된다.

재활체육프로그램 구성요인의 상대적 중요도 및 우선순위 분석 (Analysis of Priority Factors and Relative Importance about the Components of Rehabilitation Physical Activity Program)

  • 본 연구는 재활체육프로그램의 구성요인과 요소를 탐색하여 도출하고 각 요소 간의 상대적 중요도를 분석함으로써 재활체육프로그램의 체계적인 구성과 효율적 시행을 위한 토대를 마련함에 그 목적이 있다. 재활체육프로그램의 구성 요인과 요소를 도출하기 위하여 장애인을 대상으로 재활체육 및 장애인체육 관련 프로그램을 운영한 기관 단체 병원에 2년 이상 종사한 경험이 있는 지도자, 특수체육교사, 특수체육학계 전문가 20명을 대상으로 델파이기법(Delphi Technique)을 활용하여 3차에 걸쳐 설문을 진행하였다. 도출된 재활체육프로그램 구성요인들 간의 상대적 중요도를 도출하기 위해 의사결정 방식의 과학적 방법 중 하나 인 계층분석(Analytic Hierarchy Process: AHP)을 실시하였다. 연구결과 재활체육프로그램의 구성 요인으로 체력운동, 심리운동, 수중운동, 감각 지각운동, 보행운동, 운동기술 6개 요인과 21개의 하위요소로 도출되었다. 도출된 재활체육프로그램의 구성요인의 우선순위를 분석한 결과, 체력운동(33.2%), 수중운동(20.6%), 심리운동(15.1%), 감각 지각운동(11.7%), 보행운동( 10.8%), 운동기술(8.6%) 순으로 중요도가 나타났다. 또한 재활체육프로그램 구성 요인의 가중치가 부여된 상태에서 전체 요소 간 우선순위를 분석한 결과, 근력 및 근지구력운동이 23.4%의 가중치를 나타내어 가장 중요한 요소인 것으로 나타났으며, '명상'은 0.3%의 가중치를 나타내어 가장 낮은 중요 요소인 것으로 나타났다.

만성 요통환자의 복부 섬부근과 표재근을 중심으로 환 운동 효과 비교 (A Comparison of the Improvement of Symptoms between Deep Abdominal Muscle Exercises Group and Superficial Abdominal Muscle Exercises Group in Patients with Chronic Low Back Pain)

  • Objectives: To compare the efficacy of two types specific exercise intervention (deep and superficial abdominal muscle exercises) in the treatment of patients with chronic low back pain (CLBP). Design: A randomized, comparative, repeated-measures. Subjects: Twenty-four patients with CLBP (at least for 3 months), mean $age{\pm}SD=51.58{\pm}16.21$ (yrs). Methods: Twenty-four patients with this condition were assigned randomly to two treatment groups. Both first and second group underwent 3 weeks specific exercise treatment program. The first group specific trained for the deep abdominal muscles. The second group specific trained for the superficial abdominal muscles. Results: After intervention, the first group showed a statistically significant reduction in pain intensity and functional disability levels (p<.05). The second group showed no significant change in these parameters after intervention (p>.05). Conclusions: According to results, a "deep abdominal muscle exercises" treatment approach appears more effective than a "superficial abdominal muscle exercises" treatment in patients with CLBP.

Effects of corrective exercises on selective functional movement assessment and health risk appraisal in middle-aged women

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to find the limited patterns of middle-aged women in selective functional movement evaluation and analyze the effects of pattern improvement exercises and general control groups on the Health Risk Appraisal (HRA). Design: Randomized controlled trial. Methods: The 31 subjects were physically healthy middle-aged women aged 40-59 living in Seoul, The subjects were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group. Forty-three physically healthy women were originally recruited and randomly assigned to either the experimental group (n=22) or the control group (n=21). However, due to lack of participation, a total of seventeen subjects in the exercise group and fourteen subjects in the control group participated in the study. All subjects were tested using Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and HRA for the baseline measurement and joined an exercise program of their group for one hour per session, twice a week for four weeks. The experimental group was provided with the corrective exercises and the control group was given the general fitness program. A follow-up test was conducted after eight weeks from the baseline measurement. Results: Both experimental and control group showed significant changes in SFMA and HRA scores (p<0.05). In the experimental group and control groups, the SFMA and HRA showed significant improvement from baseline to 4 weeks (p<0.05). Also, in the experimental group, the SFMA was significantly improved from baseline to 8 weeks (p<0.05). For the experimental group, there was a significant improvement in SFMA after 4 weeks compared to the control group (p<0.05). Conclusions: The corrective exercise in the experimental group had a positive effect on the SFMA score as well as the general squat exercise in the control group. The corrective exercise and general control group had the same positive effect on the HRA score.

10주간의 신체 안정화 운동프로그램이 초등학교 태권도 선수의 민첩성, 기능적 움직임, 균형, 폐기능에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Changes in Visual Response Speed, Functional Movement, Body Balance, and Lung Capacity after a 10-Week Body Stability Exercise Program for High School Male Taekwondo Athletes)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether physical ability is improved by body stabilization, develop training methods to improve physical fitness factors suitable for body conditions, and provide future management and exercise materials to improve Taekwondo athletes' performance, after conducting the Body stabilization exercise (BSE) program on 22 elementary school Taekwondo athletes for 10 weeks to strengthen core muscles and evaluating Visual response speed test (VRST), Functional movement screen (FMS), Y-Balance test (YBT) and Vital capacity (VC). Methods : In order to examine the impact of the BSE program on Taekwondo athletes' VRST, FMS, YBT and VC this study conducted individual evaluations on all subjects, including VRST, FMS, YBT and VC before applying the programs, and compared exercise effects before and after the program, before and after exercise by a certain period. Results : After exercising, strength and quickness were improved significantly and reaction time was significantly shortened (p<.001). The total score of FMS was improved from 10.86±1.17 before to 11.68±0.99 after exercising, was statistically significant (p=.014). YBT was significantly improved from 91.11±4.84 before to 95.68±5.15 after exercising (p<.001). VC improved was statistically significant (p<.001). Conclusion : In conclusion, the BSE athletic program is expected to help Taekwondo athletes perform well by preventing and reducing injuries through the improvement of muscular strength, strength, speed, agility, step, kick, balance, flexibility, full body endurance and the combination of technical abilities.

스위스 볼과 탄성 밴드를 이용한 저항성운동이 여성 노인의 체력 및 근감소증 지표에 미치는 영향 (The effects of 12-weeks complex training using swiss ball and elastic band on senior fitness and sarcopenia index in elderly women)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 스위스 볼과 탄성 밴드를 이용한 12주간의 복합운동이 여성 노인의 체력 및 근감소증 지표에 미치는 영향을 보고자 하였다. 운동집단 13명과 통제집단 14명으로 분류하여, 운동 집단은 주 3회, 3세트, 운동강도 약간 힘들게, 60분 실시하였다. 측정 변인은 근력, 전신지구력, 유연성과 동적 평형성으로 하였고, 근감소증 지표는 근력 요인과 단기운동수행력으로 하였다. 연구결과 체력 변인에서는 근력, 전신지구력과 유연성에서는 유의한 개선이 없었고, 동적 평형성에서는 유의한 개선이 있었다. 근감소증 지표에서는 유의한 개선이 없었으나 단기운동수행력에서는 유의한 개선이 있었다. 결론적으로 스위스 볼과 탄성 밴드를 이용한 복합운동은 동적 평형성과 단기운동수행력에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

춘천지역 일부 비만인 성인대상 식생활교육과 운동중재 프로그램의 효과평가 (Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Dietary Education and Exercise Program on Obese Adults in Chuncheon Area)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of an intervention program using dietary consult and physical exercise conducted by public health center in Chuncheon city for obese adults. This study used a pretest-posttest design. The subjects were 58 out of 90 obese adults with body mass index (BMI) greater than $25kg/m^2$ who completed all education sessions for 8 weeks. Data on dietary habits, dietary behaviors, nutritional knowledge, anthropometric parameters and biochemical indices and daily nutrient intakes assessed by a 24-hour recall were collected before and after the intervention program., in order to evaluate program effectiveness. After the intervention, there were positive changes in exercise status and dietary habits and nutrition knowledge accuracy. Especially, the answer of 'I drink a cup of milk every day' were significantly improved (p<0.001), and the answer of 'I don't overeat', which is a dietary attitude question was significantly improved (p<0.05). Dietary intakes of most of nutrients were not significantly different between pre-test and post-test. But calcium (p<0.05), potassium (p<0.05), vitamin A (p<0.01), vitamin E (p<0.05), and folic acid (p<0.05) were significantly increased in the female group after the intervention. Weight (p<0.05), BMI (p<0.01), blood pressure (p<0.001), were significantly decreased after program, but changes of skeletal muscle mass, body fat mass were not significant. Resting heart rate (p<0.01), flexibility (p<0.001), whole body reaction (p<0.05), grip strength (p<0.01) and balance (p<0.01) showed positive changes after the intervention. Blood glucose level in serum was significantly decreased (p<0.001). These results indicated that dietary education and exercise program was effective not only for weight reduction but also for the improvement of physical fitness in obese adults.

고혈압 환자에서 생활습관 개선 프로그램의 혈압개선효과 (Effect of Lifestyle Modification Program on Blood Pressure Improvement in Patients with Hypertension)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to know different effect with uncontrolled hypertension patients after providing health promotion program which consisted with medicine, exercise, nutrition. Methods: The subjects of this study was comprised by uncontrolled hypertension patients in spite of medication and didn't care the pressure by medication. The health promotion program was progressed by group exercise three times a week, nutrition education once a week and medical consultation once a month for 12 weeks. Subjects were measured for body composition(weight, fat mass, % body fat and body mass index), hemo-dynamics(systolic blood pressure(SBP), diastolic blood pressure(DBP), and resting heart rate), and physical fitness (cardiopulmonary endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, balance, and flexibility). Results: Groups showed significant improvement in every measure except resting heart rate. SBP is decreased both taking drug group about 18.4mmHg and without taking drug group about 19.4mmHg.(p<0.001) DBP is decreased both taking drug group about 8.7mmHg and without taking drug group about 9.0 mmHg.(p<0.001) Conclusion: There are no statistical significant differences of SBP and DBP decreasing effects by medication, Since effects of decreasing pressure are not different by medication, I think the health promotion program is effective to uncontrolled hypertension patients to decrease pressure.

허약노인을 위한 건강증진 프로그램이 허약노인의 건강증진행위와 건강상태에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Health Promotion Program for Frail Elderly Residents on Health Promoting Behavior and Health Status)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a health promotion program for frail elderly nursing home residents, and to analyze the effects of the program. Methods: The research was a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. Data collection was performed from February 26, 2012, to April 26, 2012. The subjects were 28 residents for the experimental group, who were selected at A nursing home, D city, in Korea and 27 residents for the control group, who were selected at B nursing home. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, ${\chi}^2$-test, independent t-test, ANCOVA and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ with SPSS/Win 17.0 program. Results: There was a significant improvement in health promoting behaviors (F=64.26, p<.001), Lt. Grip strength (F=39.76, p<.001), Rt. Grip strength (F=38.06, p<.001), Static balance (F=3.98, p=.050), TUG (F=18.60, p<.001), oral status (F=26.75, p<.001), depression (F=18.79, p<.001), and subjective health status (F=10.75, p<.002) in the treatment group compared to the comparison group. Conclusion: The health promotion program improved the health promoting behavior, physical fitness, oral status, depression, and subjective health status of the frail elderly nursing home residents. Therefore, health promotion programs for frail elderly nursing home residents could be helpful.
