The rapid development of smartphone technologies have resulted in the evolution of mobile botnets. The implications of botnets have inspired attention from the academia and the industry alike, which includes vendors, investors, hackers, and researcher community. Above all, the capability of botnets is uncovered through a wide range of malicious activities, such as distributed denial of service (DDoS), theft of business information, remote access, online or click fraud, phishing, malware distribution, spam emails, and building mobile devices for the illegitimate exchange of information and materials. In this study, we investigate mobile botnet attacks by exploring attack vectors and subsequently present a well-defined thematic taxonomy. By identifying the significant parameters from the taxonomy, we compared the effects of existing mobile botnets on commercial platforms as well as open source mobile operating system platforms. The parameters for review include mobile botnet architecture, platform, target audience, vulnerabilities or loopholes, operational impact, and detection approaches. In relation to our findings, research challenges are then presented in this domain.

Recently malicious activities that is a DDoS, spam, propagation of malware, steeling person information, phishing on the Internet are related malicious botnet. To detect malicious botnet, Many researchers study a detection system for malicious botnet, but these applies specific protocol, action or attack based botnet. In this reason, we study a selection of measurement to detec malicious botnet in this paper. we collect a traffic of malicious botnet and analyze it for feature of network traffic. And we select a feature based measurement. we expect to help a detection of malicious botnet through this study.
QR Code is a two-dimensional code in the form of a matrix that contains data in a square-shaped black-and-white grid pattern, and has recently been used in various fields. In particular, in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the usage increased rapidly by identifying the movement path in the form of a QR code that anyone can easily and conveniently use. As such, Qshing attacks and damages using QR codes are increasing in proportion to the usage of QR codes. Therefore, in this paper, a system was implemented to block movement to harmful sites and installation of malicious codes when scanning QR codes.

Botnet pandemics are becoming more prevalent with the growing use of mobile phone technologies. Mobile phone technologies provide a wide range of applications, including entertainment, commerce, education, and finance. In addition, botnet refers to the collection of compromised devices managed by a botmaster and engaging with each other via a command server to initiate an attack including phishing email, ad-click fraud, blockchain, and much more. As the number of botnet attacks rises, detecting harmful activities is becoming more challenging in handheld devices. Therefore, it is crucial to evaluate mobile botnet assaults to find the security vulnerabilities that occur through coordinated command servers causing major financial and ethical harm. For this purpose, we propose a hybrid analysis approach that integrates permissions and API and experiments on the machine-learning classifiers to detect mobile botnet applications. In this paper, the experiment employed benign, botnet, and malware applications for validation of the performance and accuracy of classifiers. The results conclude that a classifier model based on a simple decision tree obtained 99% accuracy with a low 0.003 false-positive rate than other machine learning classifiers for botnet applications detection. As an outcome of this paper, a hybrid approach enhances the accuracy of mobile botnet detection as compared to static and dynamic features when both are taken separately.

They are rapidly evolving malicious attacks on smart devices, and to timely protect the smart devices from these attacks has become a very important issue. In particular, smishing attack has emerged as one of the most important threats on the smartphone. In this paper, we propose the cloud service that can fundamentally protect the user from the risk of smishing attack. The proposed scheme provides cloud messaging service that can filter text messages including URLs in the user's smart device, view and manage them through a virtual machine provided by a cloud server. The existing techniques for preventing smshing attacks protect only malicious code of a known pattern and there is the possibility of error such as FP(False Positive) or FN(False Negative). However, since the proposed method automatically filters all text messages including URLs, storing, viewing, and managing them in their own storage space on the cloud server, it can completely block the installation of malwares(malicious codes) on the user's smart device through smishing attacks.
Currently there are wide variety of web services and applications available for users. Such services restrict access to only authorized users, and therefore its users often need to go through the inconvenience of getting an authentication from each service every time. To resolve of such inconvenience, a third party application with OAuth(Open Authorization) protocol that can provide restricted access to different web services has appeared. OAuth protocol provides applicable and flexible services to its users, but is exposed to reply attack, phishing attack, impersonation attack. Therefore we propose method that after authentication Access Token can be issued by using the E-mail authentication. In proposed method, regular user authentication success rate is high when value is 5 minutes. However, in the case of the attacker, the probability which can be gotten certificated is not more than the user contrast 0.3% within 5 minutes.
In recent years, electronic financial services, such as internet banking, come into wide use since the personal computer and network technology have made reasonably good progress. The growth of electronic financial service contributes to promoting the business efficiency of financial institution and promoting the convenience of financial customer, while the security on electronic financial service is getting more important because it is not face-to-face financial service. Therefore, the financial sector had decided to introduce the OTP (One Time Password) in order to authenticate the identification of customer and has built the Integrated OTP Authentication Center for a customer being able to use only one OTP token in electronic financial transaction with several financial institution. In this paper, we introduce the business of Integrated OTP Authentication Center and present the security analysis on integrated OPT authentication service, which is the main function of Integrated OTP Authentication Center.

The online banking service handles a banking business over the internet, it is necessary to ensure that all financial transactions are processed securely. So, there are various authentication technique for e-banking service : a certificate, a personal identification number(PIN), a security card and a one-time password(OTP). Especially, the security card is most important means including secret information. If the secret information of card is leaked, it means not only loss of security but also easy to attack because security card is a difficult method to get. In this paper, we propose that a multi-channel security card saves an secret information in distributed channel. Proposed multi-channel security card reduces vulnerability of the exposed and has a function to prevent phishing attacks through decreasing the amount of information displayed and generating secret number randomly.

Today, there is an increasing number of cases in which certificate information is leak, and accordingly, electronic finance frauds are prevailing. As certificate and private key a file-based medium, are easily accessible and duplicated, they are vulnerable to information leaking crimes by cyber-attack using malignant codes such as pharming, phishing and smishing. Therefore, the use of security token and storage toke' has been encouraged as they are much safer medium, but the actual users are only minimal due to the reasons such as the risk of loss, high costs and so on. This thesis, in an effort to solve above-mentioned problems and to complement the shortcomings, proposes a system in which digital signature for Internet banking can be made with a simply bio-authentication process. In conclusion, it was found that the newly proposed system showed a better capability in handling financial transitions in terms of safety and convenience.
Along with the increase of internet shopping, crimes that exploited personal information on the invoice of goods are becoming more and more advanced and becoming more and more classified from the interception of goods through voice phishing attack, injury, sexual offense. Therefore, in order to guarantee the anonymity of the customer's delivery information, there is a need for a delivery tracking prevention system which keeps the route information of the product's destination secret among delivery companies. For this purpose, We suggest that delivery tracing protect model based smart contract for guaranteed anonymity to protect the anonymity by encrypting delivery information and by separation of payment and personal information using the anonymity technique of block chain-based cryptography. Our proposed model contributes to expansion of internet shopping based on block chaining by providing information about product sales to company and guaranteeing anonymity of customer's delivery information to customer.
