Two species of the genus Burmoniscus Collinge, 1914 (Philosciidae), B. philippinensis and B palawanensis from Palawan Island, the Philippines are described as new. In the family Philosciidae, only a single species, Pseudo-typhloscia alba (Dollfus, 1898), has been recorded from the Philippines. Two species of the genus Burmoniscus Collinge, 1914 (Philosciidae), B. philippinensis and B. palawanensis from Palawan Island, the Philippines are described as new. B. philippinensis is distinguished from its congeners by the shape of telson with straight sides and slightly protruding distal part with acute apex, while B. palawanensis by its peculiar shape of male pleopod 1 endopod.

泰國의 코사무이와 코파응안에서 採集된 Burmoniscus屬 陸棲 等脚類 2新種을 B. siamenis와 B. phanganensis로 命名하고 記載하였다. B. siamenis는 體色과 꼬리마디의 形態가 B. mauritiensis (Taiti and Ferrara, 1983)와 類似하나 제7가슴마디의 뒷모서리가 鈍角을 이루며 수컷의 제2배다리 안다리의 끝이 뭉툭하다는 점 등이 다르다. E. phanganensis는 제7가슴마디와 꼬리마디의 形態가 B. ocellatus (Verhoeff, 1928)와 類似하나 수컷의 제1배다리 안다리에 2줄의 작은 돌기열이 있다는 점이 다르다.

A new species, Burmoniscus phuketensis, is described from Ko Phuket, Thailand. The new species belongs to the group characterized by male pereopods 1 and 2 with enlarged and flattened carpi, including B. coecus (Budde-Lund, 1895), B. ferrarai (Schumalfuss, 1983), B. mossambicus (Ferrara and Taiti, 1985), B. rowei Taiti and Manicastri, 1988, and B. rakataensis Green, Ferrara and Taiti, 1990. Among them, this new species resembles B. coecus and B. rakataensis in the pigmentless body and the shape of pereonite 7 epimeron with acute postero-lateral corner, but is easily distinguished from both specie by the shape of telson. While the eyes are absent in B. coecus, they are present in this new species.

필리핀의 Visayan 군도에서 채집된 신종을 Littorophiloscia visayanensis로 명명하고 기재하였다. L. visayaensis는 미절의 형태가 L. riedli(Strouhal, 1966)나 L. nipponensis Nunomura 1986 및 L. formosana Kwon and Jeon. 1993와 유사하지만 수컷의 제1복지 내지의 독특한 형태를 보면 쉽게 구분된다.

필리핀의 루손섬 북부의 산악지대인 바나우에와 인근에서 채집된 Burmoniscus Collinge, 1914 속의 2신종을 B. ifugaoensis와 B. taitii로 명명하고 기재하였다. B. ifugaoensis는 B. novabritannicus(Vandel, 1973)나 B. yunnanensis Kwon and Taiti, 1993과 형태가 유사하나, 수컷의 제1복지 외지의 말단부가 훨씬 더 신장되었고, 내지의 말단부에 독특한 강모열을 갖는 점에서 구분된다. B. taitii는 B. punctatus Taiti, Ferrara and Kwon, 1992과 수컷의 제1복지 내지의 형태가 유사하지만 수컷의 독특한 반문 머리의 형태, 수컷의 제1복지 외지의 짧은 말단부로 쉽게 식별된다.

Littorophilosa lineuta is described from Korea as new. Four Littorophiloscia species from Japan (L. nipponensis Nunomura, 1986; L. hoyoshii Nunomura, 1986; L. longicouda Nunomura, 1986; L. hvugoensis Nunomura, 1986) are considered to be conspecific. L. nipponensis is chosen as a valid name anti L. koreono Taiti and Ferrara, 1986 from Korea is considered as another junior svnonyrn.
