Due to a characteristic of benefit delay, the customer's participation in the service delivery system is hindered, and the quality of service declines. As a result, customer satisfaction would be reduced. The purpose of this study is to construct an analytical framework to analyze a mechanism that promotes customer participation in benefit delay type services. This study focused on customer participation as a factor affecting the quality of service and customer satisfaction and attempted to construct an analytical framework based on a theoretical perspective of motivational research. Results - By adopting the motivation theory, this research derived three concepts, the possibility of gaining benefits, the emotional experience, and the desire of benefit. And motivation is created when the three factors interact with each other. Conclusions - This paper has constructed an analytical framework for analyzing factors that promote customer participation in the benefit delay service and finally has proposed case study for further research.

However, previous 1) Among the service quality components, the strongest correlation exists between physical quality and service quality. 2) Hotel quality is most influenced by customer quality, followed by service provider quality and physical quality showing that when customer quality is incorporated as a prerequisite parameter if hotel quality it has the most effect on hotel quality, which is a new result. 3) Customer quality plays a significant indirect role via hotel quality on performance, and the physical quality and service provider quality offered to the customer at a hotel have more direct effect on performance, illustrating the difference in the effect on hotel quality depending on the component of hotel quality. 4) The evaluation of hotel quality and performance becomes more meaningful and valid only when customer quality is included as a prerequisite parameter of hotel quality to strongly interact with service provider quality 5) Comparative analysis of the different qualities according to the hotel class show a significant difference in customer quality, physical quality and service provider quality and performance between first-class and second-class hotels.
Fashion marketing activity performed by social media influencers (SMIs) has grown exponentially in the past years. Research regarding their marketing power is often discussed in the context of sponsorship disclosure, in order to overcome obstacles of impending regulations that may endanger the authenticity SMIs are perceived to have compared to traditional marketing agents. Upon recent heterogeneous findings, a netnographic approach was taken to examine the actual sponsored posts of SMIs on Instagram. Based on two representative cases that received media coverage, a qualitative analysis of 1,058 comments on Instagram showed customer inspiration and informational social influence regardless of sponsorship disclosures present. Regarding customer inspiration, high frequency of comments including choice imitation intentions was observed. Under certain conditions, customer responses were focused on the SMI's expertise irrespective from the brand being endorsed. Findings show future implications from both an academic and industry-focused perspective for future potential of SMIs in fashion marketing.

This paper presents an empirical relationship analysis between network quality characteristics and customer satisfaction on Internet communication. Methodologically, the relationship analysis framework is based on the regression variable selection procedures. In this framework, it is implemented that; 1) iterative model building; and 2) consistent criteria application to statistical tests for selecting significant variables. A case study shows that; 1) the customer satisfaction on the network connection seems to be more closely related to the network quality characteristics compared with the customer satisfaction on the network speed; and 2) the download disconnection rate has relatively evident relationship with the customer satisfaction on the network connection.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship among the components of brand equity and to examine the effects of these components on the overall customer-based brand equity from the perspective of the Generation Z. This study is applied in the case of Borobudur World Heritage Destination, which is in Indonesia. A survey questionnaire has been collected through purposive sampling from 167 Generation Z who have visited Borobudur World Heritage Destination. The research hypotheses were supported by the empirical test using a Structural Equation Model with AMOS. The result concludes that destination brand awareness has significant, positive effects on destination brand image and perception of destination quality; destination brand image has positive influences on perception of destination quality and destination brand loyalty; perception of destination quality has significant, positive impacts on destination brand loyalty. Except for destination brand image and destination brand awareness, the perception of destination quality and destination brand loyalty have positive and direct impacts on overall destination brand equity. In sum, overall customer-based brand equity of a world heritage destination in the context of a developing economy is directly influenced by only two components of brand equity, namely, the perception of destination quality and destination brand loyalty.
This study draws important factors in electronic Word-of-Mouth (eWOM) and examines how these influence the building of customer loyalty. eWOM is viewed as social communication between customers and sellers, and thus the communicative action theory is applied. With the theory, we identify reviewer and seller as influential players on customers, and derive important factors such as correctness and veracity of reviews from the reviewers' action, and information compactness and adequacy from the seller's action. We propose these constructs as antecedents of customer loyalty and further hypothesize their curvilinear impacts as follows: the marginal impacts of veracity and correctness will decrease as veracity and correctness increase, and the marginal impacts of compactness and adequacy will increase as compactness and adequacy increase. The result indicates that only the seller's action has a curvilinear impact, whereas the reviewer has proportional positive impact on customer loyalty. This study indentifies important factors in eWOM from a critical social theory perspective and validates them using the positivistic approach. For practitioners, it discusses the important factors in eWOM with the identification of the individuals who are responsible for these factors.
This paper presents optimal operational scheduling model and economic assessment of Li-ion battery energy storage systems installed in non-residential customers. The operation schedule of a BESS is determined to minimize electric bill, which is composed of demand and energy charges. Dynamic programming is introduced to solve the nonlinear optimization problem. Based on the optimal operation schedule result, the economics of a BESS are evaluated in the investor and the social perspective respectively. Calculated benefits in the investor or customer perspective are the savings of demand charge, energy charge, and related taxes. The social benefits include fuel cost savings of generating units, construction deferral effects of the generation capacity and T&D infra, and incremental CO2 emission cost impacts, etc. Case studies are applied to an large industrial customer that shows similarly repeated load patterns according to days of the week.
The subject of this study is user experience analysis for OTT mobile app services. Application service quality was quantitatively measured by utilizing KS-eSQI evaluation model from a service quality perspective. The purpose of this analysis is to analyze how service reuse and other people's intention to recommend services are affected by service quality. In addition, further analysis of user experience will qualitatively look at what efforts are needed to improve OTT service quality and provide a user-friendly environment. According to the survey, the higher the level of KS-eSQI service quality, the higher the reuse of OTT services and recommendation of others. In particular, the dimensions of primary services and unexpected additional services had a higher impact on customer loyalty and recommendation of others than in other industries. Moreover, the following three implications were found to improve app services from a customer experience perspective. First, images and video thumbnails that highlight the strength of the content they provide should be actively utilized. Second, it is necessary to provide service companies with evidence for data-based work recommendations. Third, it should provide a viewing environment in which users can respond more intelligently to the various situations and conditions when they actually watch.
