노인의료전문병원의 급식서비스 인카운터에 대한 중요도-만족도 연구 (The Importance-Satisfaction Study of Hospital Foodservice Encounters at the Elderly Health-Care Facilities)

  • Institutional care is often necessary for the health and well-being of the elderly. Good quality foodservice provided at long-term care facilities not only includes patients satisfaction but also cares for good health, contributing to the stability of foodservice management. The purpose of this study was to assess the importance and satisfaction attributes of foodservice management by hospitalized elderly patients. The data were collected via questionnaire by a one-to-one interview with 194 hospitalized elderly patients in six different hospitals. According to the results of dependent t-tests, overall mean scores for the importance attributes (3.96) and satisfactory attributes (3.83) were significantly different (p<0.001). As indicated by the patients, the recognized importance attributes were the kindness of foodservice personnel (4.19), kind smiles by foodservice personnel (4.16), and kind speaking by foodservice personnel (4.12). The most recognized satisfaction attributes were kindness of foodservice personnel (4.36), bedside meal service by foodservice personnel (4.25), kind speaking by foodservice personnel (4.24), kind smiles by foodservice personnel (4.24), and sanitary uniforms worn by foodservice personnel (4.21). These results suggest that the above encounter attributes (importance-satisfaction) would be useful tools for hospital foodservices to adopt, in order to control foodservice quality and satisfy the nutritional needs of elderly patients.

  • 최근 도시의 밀집화, 다양화, 대형화에 따라 소방산업은 첨단소방기술이 요구되어지고 있어 점차 생산집약형 산업에서 지식기반산업으로 전환이 시도 되어지고 있다. 이러한 시점에서 소방산업을 지식기반형 고부가가치 산업으로 육성시키기 위해서는 산업혁신역량이 요구되며, 산업혁신역량은 인적자원의 경쟁력에 의해 크게 좌우된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 소방산업 인력을 단순현장기능인력, 고급기술인력, 전문연구인력으로 세 가지로 분류하여 국내 소방산업 인력양성 현황을 살펴보고, 각 분류에 따른 인력양성에 대한 문제점과 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다.

Application of MCDM methods to Qualified Personnel Selection in Distribution Science: Case of Logistics Companies

  • Purpose: This study aims to propose an integrated MCDM model to support the qualified personnel selection in the distribution science. Research design, data, and methodology: The integrated approach of AHP and TOPSIS was employed to address the personnel selection problem. The AHP method was used to define the weights of the selection criteria, whereas the TOPSIS was applied to rank alternatives. The proposed model was then applied into a leading logistics company to select the best alternatives to be the sales deputy manager. Results: The results showed that Candidate 3 is the most qualified personnel for the sales deputy manager position as he is ranked first in the order of preference for recruitment. Conclusions: The proposed model provides the decision makers with more effective and time-saving methods than conventional ones. Therefore, the model can be applied to personnel selection around the world. In terms of theoretical contribution, this study proposes a personnel selection model for choosing the most appropriate candidates. In addition, the study adds to the theory of human resources management and logistics management the full set of personnel selection criteria including education, experience, skills, health, personality traits and foreign language.

병원급식서비스의 질 인식에 대한 입원환자와 종사자간 괴리 분석 (A Gap Analysis between Inpatients' and Personnel's Perception of Hospital Foodservice Quality)

  • The purposes of this study were to analyze the gap between foodservice personnel and inpatients, to urge foodservice providers to reconsider by identifying the problems in service delivery for customer satisfaction, and to deduce the priority for foodservice quality improvement. The results of this study can be summarized as follows : the average perception score of personnel (4.32 out of 5) was higher than that of customers (3.90). In particular, the customers' perceptions of 17 attributes, which included 'removal service of tray by foodservice personnel', 'nutrition and health-related information service', 'handling inpatient's complaint ASAP', 'delicious meals' and 'salty enough meals' and so on, was significantly lower than personnel's. Both service providers and customers perceived that 'personnel attitude' was the highest and 'meal quality' was the lowest among the 4 factors, but there was significant difference on 'meal quality'(p < .001), 'customer reception' (p < .001) and 'personnel attitude' (p < .05) between the two groups. As a results of quadrant analysis, 'removal service of tray by foodservice personnel', 'handling inpatient's complaints ASAP' and 'meal service according to doctor's orders were categorized into Quadrant A with meaning of high personnel's perceptions and low customers'. Therefore service providers have to perceive the gap between the two viewpoints and grant priority to these attributes in improving foodservice qualify. 종합대학교 건강증진센터 모형개발을 위한 기초조사 (A Descriptive Study on the Health Status of University Students and School Personnel for the Development of a University Health Promotion Center)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify health problems and health behaviors of university students and school personnel based on the PRECEDE model, which will be used as basic data for developing a health promotion center. Method: Data were collected from a convenient sample of 878 university students and school personnel at C-university located in Jeju. The data were collected from May to June 2001 using a self report questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Result: 1. 17.2% of the school personnel and 36.7% of the university students reported that they were not satisfied with their life. 2. 44.0% of the school personnel and 42.1% of the university students described that they consider themselves healthy in terms of perceived health status. 3. The smoking and drinking rates of the school personnel were 30.4% and 78.5%. respectively. For university students, their smoking and drinking rates were 27.3% and 89.9%, respectively. 4. 91.3% of the school personnel and 88.8% of the university students responded that they were distressed. Conclusion: The findings of this study showed that the university students and school personnel had various types of health problems, and poor health behavior practices, despite their satisfaction for life. They were vulnerably exposed to unhealthy practices. Therefore, it is suggested that a health promotion program should be provided for university students and school personnel in order to help them maintain healthy lifestyles.

조직구성원의 직급단계축소에 대한 공정성 지각이 조직몰입과 혁신적 업무행동에 미치는 영향 : 인지태도 및 인지강도의 역할을 중심으로 (The Effect of Perceived Justice on Organizational Commitment and Innovative Behavior in a Simplified Personnel System : Focusing on the Roles of Cognitive Attitude and Cognitive Intensity)

  • Companies have attempted to build a rational and future-oriented new personnel system in order to adapt and survive in a rapidly changing environment. Recently, Samsung, LG, SK, and CJ, which are large domestic corporations, have been introducing new types of simplified personnel systems competitively. Although there are several prior studies that tried to classify these simplified personnel systems from a strategic point of view, there is a lack of empirical research in terms of the specific types from the perspective of employees. Therefore, in this study, an empirical study on the simplified personnel system which has currently been highlighted was carried out. The relationship between perceived justice (i.e., distributive justice and procedural justice) and organizational effectiveness (i.e., organizational commitment and innovative behavior) were tested. In addition, the mediating role of cognitive attitude as well as the moderating role of cognitive intensity in the simplified personnel system were investigated. The results of structural equation model using 157 survey data show that both distributive and procedural justice have a positive effect on cognitive attitude toward the simplified personnel system, which in turn leads to increased organizational commitment and innovative behavior. Interestingly, it is found that cognitive intensity intensifies the effect of distributive justice on cognitive attitude, whereas it attenuates the influence of procedural justice as expected. This study is among one of the first empirical studies focusing on the simplified personnel system and expands the concept of related variables such as perceived justice, cognitive attitude, and cognitive intensity in this context. Moreover, by clarifying the causal relationship between perceived justice and organizational effectiveness through the roles of cognitive attitude and cognitive intensity, it could provide several practical implications to managers who are interested in the introduction and early settlement of simplified personnel systems in a successful manner.

산업보건관리자의 직무능력에 관한 연구 - 서울$\cdot$경기 지역의 산업보건센타를 중심으로 (A Study on the Job Ability of Industrial Health Service Agency Members - with the Focus on the Industrial Health Service Agency in Seoul and Kyungki -)

  • To analyze the roles by abilities between manpower through the analysis of industrial health service agency personnel, 115 industrial health service agency personnel in 19 Industrial Health Service Agency personnel scattered in Seoul and Kyungki areas have been investigated according to the questionnaires formulated in line with the Likert 5-point scale from September 1 through October 30, 1995 and the following significant result has been obtained: 1. The job abilities by fields. 1) In the field of health care, the level of medical personnel's job ability was 3.30 on average and that of industrial hygienists' was 2.54 on average, which showed that the level of medical personnel's job ability was higher. 2) In the field of health management, there was a difference between the level of medical personnel's job ability and that of industrial hygienists' only in the health education but there was not so much difference between manpower' which showed that it was 3.00 on average. 3) In the field of working environment management. the level of industrial hygienists' job ability was 4.03 on average and that of medical personnel's was 2.62, which showed that the level of industrial hygienists' job ability was higher than that of medical personnel's. 2. The job abilities by manpower. As for the job ability by manpower. on the health care the medical personnel's ability was more excellent than the industrial hygienists' and on the working environment management the latter's{industrial hygienists') ability was more excellent than the former's(the medical personnel's). However. the field that a difference between both manpower as mentioned above was not recognized was the health management. 3. As for the difference of potential factors between manpower. in Factor '1' the industrial hygienists' 80.7 points by percentage was higher than the medical personnel's 52.5 points and in Factor '2' the latter's(medical personnels's) 72.6 points by percentage was higher than the former's{industrial hygienists') 50.6 points in the level of job abilities. The above result shows that the industrial health service agency personnel can be classified into the job with a difference between manpower and that without any difference manpower. Therefore, the following issues: First: The field of health care shall be defined as the medical personnel's exclusive job. Second: The field of working environment management shall be defined as the industrial hygienists' exclusive job. Third: The field of health management shall be defined as a common job to lead the limits of time and space in the collective group occupational health management to be controlled effectively.

인사검증기록물관리 현황 및 개선방안 연구 (Current Status and Improvement Plan for Personnel Verification Records Management)

  • 강력한 대통령중심제를 채택하고 있는 대한민국에서 대통령이 인사권을 가진 직위에 대하여 업무 능력, 평판, 비위 여부 등을 종합적으로 인사검증하는 것은 국가운영의 기본일 뿐만 아니라 민주주의 체계의 유지를 위해서도 매우 중요하다. 그 과정에서 생산된 인사검증 관련 기록물 또한 국가의 중요 인물들에 대한 광범위한 자료를 담고 있어, 그 자체로 매우 중요한 국가적 차원의 정보이며, 후세에 현재의 국가운영을 연구하는 데 유용한 사료로 활용될 가능성이 매우 높다. 그렇기 때문에 2007년 「대통령기록물 관리에 관한 법률」 제정 이후, 인사검증 업무를 담당한 대통령비서실 민정수석비서관실은 광범위한 인사검증기록물을 대통령지정기록물로 지정하여 대통령기록관으로 이관하였을 것으로 추정된다. 그런데 제20대 정부가 출범하면서 2022년 6월부터 인사검증 담당기관이 대통령비서실 민정수석비서관실에서 법무부 '인사정보관리단'으로 변경됨에 따라 그간 유지된 인사검증 프로세스와 관련된 기록물의 보존에 커다란 변화가 생겼다. 이에 이 연구에서는 우선 인사검증기록물이 무엇이며 그간 어떻게 보존되고 관리되어 왔는지를 살펴 보았다. 그리고 이번 인사검증 담당기관의 변화로 인해 기록관리 차원에서 어떠한 쟁점이 생겨났는지, 그 쟁점들을 어떤 방식으로 해결해야 하는지에 대하여 실무적· 제도적 차원에서 개선 방안을 제안하였다.

농촌지도직 공무원의 지방직 전환 과정과 앞으로의 과제 (Localization Process of Agricultural Extension Personnel and the Tasks for the Future)

  • Localization process of agricultural extension personnel in Korea were in progress with insufficient debates for effective personnel management. Although the members of the Korean Agricultural Extension Society were strongly opposed to the plan to decentralize agricultural extension personnel from central to local government status, the administrative action took place to localize as of January 1997. The Korean Agricultural Extension Society filed the petition against to the plan pinpointing lowered morale of extension personnel, the financial burden of local governments, jeopardizing stability, undermining efficiency, and people`s attitude towards central and local government. The dangers of decentralization of agricultural extension services may cause serious problems in varied areas. More extensive debates would be needed in deciding the future directions of agricultural extension services analyzing the basic characteristics of agricultural extension, linkages of research and extension, financial burden of local government, specialization of extension personnel, and unnecessary duplication of investment among local governments.
