Objectives: The purpose of this study was to seek measures for improvement and management of farm work safety and health by conducting questionnaire surveys and on-site investigations to ascertain the present state of occurrence of safety accidents and safety and health management levels among swine farmers. In particular, the purpose of this study is to provide basic data for the establishment of measures for the management of safety and health suitable to the characteristics of related working environments. Methods: Questionnaire surveys were conducted among 223 farmers engaged in swine farming in 14 regions, and 10 farms were visited in order to implement multilateral methods, including in-depth interviews, along with field surveys. Results: The surveys indicated that 26.2% of all respondents experienced farm-work related safety accidents and body-reaction related accidents showed a high ratio at 31.1% of all respondents. With regard to cause materials of safety accidents, work other than that directly related to swine raising showed high ratios of safety accidents, with pigsty facility related accidents at 26.6%. Although most workers recognized the dangers latent in the working environments, their behavior and responses to the prevention of safety accidents were still insufficient due to a lack of understanding of safety and health management. In the survey on the present state of personal hygiene and wearing of protective equipment, workers were found to have been exposed to dangerous and harmful environments both inside and outside pigsties, but the actual states of their wearing protective safety equipment were very poor. Conclusion: Given the results of this study, swine farmers well recognize problems in their control of safety accidents and management of safety and health, but their knowledge about safety and health education and management guidelines was insufficient. Therefore, safety and health education, public relations, and customized personal protective equipment suitable for swine raising work should be developed in order to address the foregoing problem.

Three instruments were used to collect the data : a semi-structured interview questionnaire which was developed by the researcher was used to identify the content of the mother's burden, a Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) that had a 10cm horizontal line was used to measure the degree of mother's burden and the PRQ part I & part Ⅱ were used to measure the degree of mother's social support. The content of mother's burden collected through in depth interviews was analyzed using content analysis. Also burden and social support data were analyzed by SAS program. The result of this study were summarized as follows : 1. The data on burden content from the interview were categorized as psychological, physiological, family interaction with maternal role, financial burden and personal interaction with social relational burden. 2. The degree of burden measured by VAS had a mean of 8.04(range from 0.5 to 10). 3. The score for social support measured by PRQ part Ⅱ had a mean of 88.9(range from 71 to 113). The highest scores was for reassurance of worth. The lowest score was for opportunity for nuturance. Most of the 15 mothers received the greatest amount of support from their sisters, spouse, friends, neighbors, relations, priest were perceived as eaningful resource person. 4. The correlation coefficient of burden and social support was somewhat negative correlation but no statistical significance(r=-.072). Therefore, a further study is necessary to repeat the qualitative research for exploring factor to be affected family caregiver's burden according to disease proceeding stage. On the basis of the results from this study, future research will be promoted valid and reliable tool development. Through this study, nurses understand and assess the individual psychologic burden and further it would be recommendated to produce professional education program for pediatric oncologic specialist nurse.

The results of this study are as follows. First, elementary mathematically gifted students had higher levels than general students in every subdirectory of co-cognitive factors and the difference was statistically significant. Second, there was a difference between leadership of elementary mathematically gifted students and that of general students. Also, the level of gifted students' leadership was higher than the latter. Third, when it comes to the relation between co-cognitive factors and leadership, both of gifted students and general students showed positive correlation between subdirectory of co-cognitive factors and that of leadership. Consequently, development of co-cognitive factors will lead to improvement of leadership since co-cognitive factors positively influence on leadership. Therefore, it is desirable that co-cognitive factors are considered when developing a program for leadership.
Objectives : The purpose of this study is to measure employment stress of health college students and to consider a proper means for the solution. Methods : The population of the research is some randomly chosen health college students located in Seoul City during the period from May 10 to June 11 2010, and the sample of 295 students were recruited as the analysis object group. The data on general characteristics and employment stress were collected by a questionnaire survey. The collected data were analyzed with the SPSS WIN 12.0 program. The following shows the results of this study. Results : 1. Mean scores of employment stress in female students were significantly higher than those in male(p<0.01). 2. Employment stress level was significantly higher in low group of home economy, competence for a schoolwork, personal relations, satisfaction in campus life. 3. In regression analysis, home economy, competence for a schoolwork, satisfaction in campus life were proved as significant factors that is related to the employment stress(p<0.01). In other words, It is significant statistically that the lower home economy, competence for a schoolwork, satisfaction in campus life, the higher employment stress level (p<0.05). Conclusions : I suggest with the result of the study that for coping effectively employment stress of health college students, we will need to open an exclusive employment counsel window for better administration welfare service in campus. Because of students are independent responsibility of employment, active effort must take precedence in order for the solution of problem by themselves. Also, we will need to create better academic environment and show more concern, consideration, love in family.
Objectives : This study aims to analyze the factors and degree of stress, which dental hygienics students experience during the off-campus practical training period at university/general dental hospitals or dental hospitals/clinics, to strategically plan and operate an efficient practical training, and to exploit such data for development of the said students into professional dental hygienists by nurturing their abilities to effectively cope with the potential educational frustration, demotivation, and skepticism on their occupations in advance. Methods : The stress measurement tool is set for 38 questions in total, The grading system for each question is based on 5-point Likert scale, which interprets that the lower score demonstrates a higher level of stress. The data collected as above are analyzed by SPSS 19.0. Results : The satisfaction "Satisfactory" of extramural practice at departments of dentistry of university and general hospitals and dental hospitals and clinics is 48.3% and 37.7% respectively. Environment area (p<.001) and role & activity area (p<.05) showed a significant difference of stresses between practices at departments of dentistry of university and general hospitals and dental hospitals and clinics. For departments of dentistry of university and general hospitals, the stress in environment area was highest. On the contrary, students who did practices at dental hospitals and clinics showed that the stress is highest at role & activity area. There was a positive correlation of areas of environment, personal relations, role & activity, and ideal & value. However, there was no correlation between treatment fields. Conclusions : In conclusion, educational institutes need to conduct a specialized systematic research establishing close relationships extramural practice organs, in order to minimize students' stress resulting from extramural practices by type and to increase the effect of extramural practices.
This study aims to verify the relationship between a motivational climate and self-management perceived by athletes. 195 male and 153 female athletes participated in this study. Firstly, reliability and validity are verified for questionnaires, and descriptive statistics, one way ANOVA, and regression analysis are used. The result of the correlation analysis says that all the factors have meaningful relations among them. The analysis on the effects of the motivational climate on self-management indicates that the mastery climate perceived by the athletes has affected statically the sub-factors of self-management such as mental management, training, management, personal relationship management, life management, health management, and intrinsic behavior control. However, the competitive climate didn't help self-management. Based on the study, it was suggested that through the mastery climate, a leader should make athletes manage and control themselves in terms of conquest strategies, self-assessment, problem-solving and decision-making skills, self-control, goal setting, efforts to strengthen oneself, and plan.

The data were collected from June lth to 31th, 1997 and analyzed by S.A.S(Statistical Analysis System) Package for frequency, percent, and Pearson's correlation coefficient. The results of the study is as the followings: 1) According to the moral development. the nurses are in the levels of Stage3 or Transition3/4, which are generally focused on the personal relations or personality. Thus, nurses are considered to need to get the stage4 of education that helps them recognize a person as a member of society. a family as an unit of society, and human life as the values of human dignity. 2) According to the ethical values, nurses have the positive ethical values of respecting the right of the patients, providing information, keeping the secret, truth. and credit of patients. But they also experience some troubles by the patients to care and the clinical situation. Thus, to overcome the problems, nurses are considered to need to get the education that establishs the right ethical values. 3) The analysis result on the interrelation between moral development level and ethical values shows as r=0.28 and p=0.003. This indicates that the interrelation between them is low. In conclusion, it is considered that the moral development level is viewed broadly from a person and family to a society, and then it can affect to the ethical values positively.
