A study on the oxidation effect of some amino acids(glutamic acid, phenylalanine, alanine) addition to the linoleic acid emulsion was conducted. Amino acid solutions in concentrations of $10^{-2}$, $10^{-3}$ and $10^{-4}M$ were mixed with equal volume of linoleic acid emulsions. The prepared samples were incubated at $60{\pm}1^{\circ}C$ and the extent of diene conjugation and TBA values were measured by using the UV visible spectrophotometer. The results were as follows: 1) From the extent of diene conjugation, we found that the addition of phenylalanine and alanine prolonged the induction period and the addition of glutamic acid shortened. There was an optimum concentration for each amino acid to act as an antioxidant during the induction period. The optimum concentration of alanine was $10^{-3}M$ and that of phenylalanine was $10^{-2}M$. 2) The results of TBA values showed that three amino acids possesed antioxidant activity after the induction period. There was also an optimum concentration to act as antioxidant after the induction period. The optimum concentrations of glutamic acid, phenylalanine, and alanine were $10^{-2}$, $10^{-3}$, and $10^{-3}M$, respectively.
To research the changes of Ramyun in Korea, this paper was went over an historical study through the content analysis of ads. from 1963 to 2012. The study period was divided into 6 stages based on GNI(Gross National Income). The advertisements were classified into new advertisements and all ones, and the advertisements of new Ramyun were categorized with 4 ways. And the most emphasized messages of advertisements and advertising models of each periods were also examined. The total number of new advertisements was 185(3.7/y) and 650 total advertisements(13.7/year). The most emphasized messages were changed from 'taste' and 'high calorie' to 'noodles', 'function(specific nutrition)'. The advertising models were actors, comedians, popular singers, in turn. The 1960's was the period when the fewest new products were advertised to consumers most often. 1980-1996 was the period when the most new products were advertised the most. During the depresseions, all ads were more frequently and new ads were lower advertised. Above results, each period was named as follow, respectively ; the Expansion period(1963~1969), the Set-up period(1970~1979), the Competition period (1980~1987), the Bipolarization period(1988~1997), the Transition period(1998~2003), the Stabilization period(2004~2012).
Uncertainties in the energy market are increasing due to technology developments (shale revolution), trade wars, COVID-19, and the Russia-Ukraine war. Especially, since 2020, the risk of international trade in the energy market has increased significantly due to changes in the supply chain of transportation and due to prolonged demand reduction because of COVID-19 and the Russian-Ukraine war. Considering these points, this study analyzed connectedness between energy price, tanker index, and uncertainty to understand the connectedness between international trade in the energy market. Main results are summarized as follows. First, as a result of analyzing stable period and unstable period of the energy price model using the MS-VAR model, it was confirmed that both the crude oil market model and the natural gas market model had a higher probability of maintaining stable period than unstable period, increasing volatility by specific events. Second, looking at the results of the analysis of the connectedness between stable period and unstable period of the energy market, it was confirmed that in the case of total connectedness, connectedness between variables was increased in the unstable period compared to the stable period. In the case of the energy market stable period, considering the degree of connectedness, it was confirmed that the effect of the tanker freight index, which represents the demand-side factor, was significant. Third, unstable period of the natural gas market model increases rapidly compared to the crude oil market model, indicating that the volatility spillover effect of the natural gas market is greater when uncertainties affecting energy prices increase compared to the crude oil market.

This study was conducted for a systematic literature review according to the period, subject, and research method for 198 papers related to tattoo and semi-permanent makeup published from 1979 to 2022. By period, it was divided into the first period (1979-1994), the second period (1995-2005), the third period (2006-2012), and the fourth period (2013-2022). In the first period, research on health and medical aspects was the main focus, and in the second period, studies in various aspects such as art and culture began to appear. The 3rd period was characterized by increased research on semi-permanent makeup, and the 4th period was marked by a rapid increase in research on tattoos and semi-permanent makeup. By research topic, it was analyzed by dividing it into health and medical care, beauty, fashion and art, society and culture, law and system. As a result, cosmetic studies were most actively conducted to identify consumers' preferences and perceptions, and health and medical studies were the second most common. Recently, as the need for legalization has increased, studies related to laws and systems have increased rapidly, and studies on culture, history, and fashion have also been conducted. By research method, survey research were used the most, and various methods such as literature study and case studies were also used. This study is expected to further promote follow-up research in the future and contribute to the development of related industries.
The fundamental period of vibration is one of the most critical parameters in the analysis and design of structures, as it depends on the distribution of stiffness and mass within the structure. Therefore, building codes propose empirical equations based on the observed periods of actual buildings during seismic events and ambient vibration tests. However, despite the fact that infill walls increase the stiffness and mass of the structure, causing significant changes in the fundamental period, most of these equations do not account for the presence of infills walls in the structure. Typically, these equations are dependent on both the structural system type and building height. The different values between the empirical and analytical periods are due to the elimination of non-structural effects in the analytical methods. Therefore, the presence of non-structural elements, such as infill panels, should be carefully considered. Another critical factor influencing the fundamental period is the effect of Soil-Structure Interaction (SSI). Most seismic building design codes generally consider SSI to be beneficial to the structural system under seismic loading, as it increases the fundamental period and leads to higher damping of the system. Recent case studies and postseismic observations suggest that SSI can have detrimental effects, and neglecting its impact could lead to unsafe design, especially for structures located on soft soil. The current research focuses on investigating the effect of infill panels on the fundamental period of moment-resisting and eccentrically braced steel frames while considering the influence of soil-structure interaction. To achieve this, the effects of building height, infill wall stiffness, infill openings and soil structure interactions were studied using 3, 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18-story 3-D frames. These frames were modeled and analyzed using SeismoStruct software. The calculated values of the fundamental period were then compared with those obtained from the proposed equation in the seismic code. The results indicate that changing the number of stories and the soil type significantly affects the fundamental period of structures. Moreover, as the percentage of infill openings increases, the fundamental period of the structure increases almost linearly. Additionally, soil-structure interaction strongly affects the fundamental periods of structures, especially for more flexible soils. This effect is more pronounced when the infill wall stiffness is higher. In conclusion, new equations are proposed for predicting the fundamental periods of Moment Resisting Frame (MRF) and Eccentrically Braced Frame (EBF) buildings. These equations are functions of various parameters, including building height, modulus of elasticity, infill wall thickness, infill wall percentage, and soil types.
This study investigated the relationship between inner characteristics manifested through the characteristics of artistic styles and formativeness manifested through external expressions of architectural styles in the early Medieval Period and early Renaissance Period. The method applied to this study is as follows. First, a historical document research was conducted centering on academic theses, related books, and academic databases; in addition, a case study identified the aesthetic characteristics of women's clothes. The conclusion of this study is as follows. First, the following is the analysis of the relationship between the artistic mode and architectural formativeness in the early Medieval Period and early Renaissance Period that represent a turning point in artistic paradigms. Second, the inner characteristics and eclecticism of the artistic mode literally appear in the formativeness of architectural style in the early Medieval Period, and the eclecticism in the architectural style appears to be expressed through a combination with new styles based on the application of the retro mode such as the eclectic adoption of cultural styles of various regions based on the tradition and technology of ancient Rome. Third, the trend of the aesthetic characteristics commonly appear in the modern style of expression related to the aesthetic characteristics of western women's clothes in the early Medieval Period; in addition, the early Renaissance Period was analyzed as decorativeness and respectively manipulability.

The fact that tidal residuals are detected greatly at the tide-dominated region implies that tide component has still remained in the tidal residual. Auto-correlation function analysis also show that the auto-correlation coefficients are conspicuous near tidal periods at the Western Coast. A wavelet method was used to analyze characteristics of the short period or tide-relevant residuals. Considering the results that tidal period is prominent at the tide-dominated region, that seasonal variation is trivial at the short periods, and that shallow tidal period is conspicuous at Mokpo, the short period can be considered to be correlated with tide modulated surge. The result also shows short period components stem mainly from tide-forecasting error and tide-surge interaction. Thus tide modulated surge must be distinguished from meteorological surge.
Each stylistic period through history has its own unique look. The characteristic look of each period is completed and visualized with its prevailing ideologies, aesthetic consciousness and morality by means of 'form'. A period expresses its characteristics in accordance with form according to the widespread preferences of the time. Among the various cultural factors that form the look of the time, those that the period holds as ideal aesthetic values create the concept of 'ideal beauty' for that period. This study begins by establishing the conceptual definition of 'ideal beauty' and develops the premise that dress reflected ideal beauty. To attain the goal of the study, the selected objects are dresses represented in paintings, the actual garments from the Renaissance to Baroque periods and written references about art, art history, and history of costume. The results, based upon a theoretical study of the zeitgeist and aesthetic values of the 16th and 17th centuries, are as follows: first, ideal beauty influences the substance and form that constitute dress style. It is a byproduct of the spirit of time, the zeitgeist. The concept of ideal beauty is born within the lifestyle pursued by the ruling class and focuses on the body as an epitome of beauty, moral values, custom, lifestyle and taste as it becomes visualized via form. Second, the aspect of dress representing the ideal beauty of particular time varied according to the times. In both periods, power and dignity were used to achieve the ideal aesthetic values. In the Renaissance, power was expressed by the horizontal extension of dress (i.e. wide farthingales and sleeves) and in the Baroque period, by vertical extension (i.e. long and tall wigs, fontanges and trains). It can be said that fashion in both periods achieved an ideal, such as power and dignity, via the same means, by extending dress sizes, but the ways in which those ideals were portrayed in each period's dress yielded very contrary styles. It is understood through this study that ideal beauty influenced the dress style of the Renaissance and Baroque periods and played a decisive role in determining its forms and symbolic meanings.
The present study aimed to determine the effects of different storage materials and storage period on some hatchability traits of Japanese quail (Coturnix coturnix japonica) eggs. A total of 32 male and 102 female quail (twelve weeks of ages) were housed in multiple-bird cages. Eggs laid were divided into three groups with respect to the period of storage (I = 1st, 2nd and 3rd days, II = 6th, 7th and 8th days, III = 12th, 13th and 14th days) prior to incubation. A total of 816 eggs was stored in 3 different storage environments during each storage period (B = no use of any storage material, P = use of perlite, H = use of hay) and kept in environmental conditions, where the temperature was $21^{\circ}C$ and relative humidity was 75%, prior to incubation. Statistical analyses were performed after the exclusion of values pertaining to non-fertile eggs (190 eggs) from the data set. The fertility rate of the eggs in the experiment was 76.7%. In the present study, the influence of storage material and different storage periods on egg weight loss were found to be statistically significant (p<0.01). Upon the comparison of hatchability of fertile eggs values, the influence of storage material was determined to be significant (p<0.05), and the influence of storage period was demonstrated to be significant (p<0.01). The storage materials used were determined not to have any influence on early and late embryonic death rates. Perlite was concluded to be safe for use in the storage of hatching eggs. The extension of the storage period (more than 8 days) resulted in decreased hatchability values of fertile eggs in each group.
In this paper, scheduling problem is dealt for the minimization of due date penalty for the customer order. Multiproduct batch processes have been dealt with for their suitability for high value added low volume products. Their scheduling problems take minimization of process operation for objective function, which is not enough to meet the customer satisfaction and the process efficiency simultaneously because of increasing requirement of fast adaptation for rapid changing market condition. So new target function has been suggested by other researches to meet two goals. Penalty function minimization is one of them. To present more precisely production scheduling, we develop new scheduling model with penalty function of earliness and tardiness We can find many real cases that penalty parameters are divergent by the difference between the completion time of operation and due date. That is to say, the penalty parameter values for the product change by the customer demand condition. If the order charges different value for due date, we can solve it with the due date period. The period means the time scope where penalty parameter value is 0. If we make use of the due date period, the optimal sequence of our model is not always same with that of fixed due date point. And if every product have due date period, due date of them are overlapped which needs optimization for the maximum profit and minimum penalty. Due date period extension can be enlarged to makespan minimization if every product has the same abundant due date period and same penalty parameter. We solve this new scheduling model by simulated annealing method. We also develop the program, which can calculate the optimal sequence and display the Gantt chart showing the unit progress and time allocation only with processing data.
