The management of mega construction projects which incorporate a large number of stakeholders, technologies, data, work culture etc., is cumbersome. The experts in the construction arena advocate that interface management serves as a precise tool in resolving these conflict points due to the intricate nature of the construction projects. Interface management is a current trending management practice in the construction industry which is also a beneficiary to mega/fast track projects in enhancing the project performance. The main objective of this study is to validate a model for assessing the relationships among interface management, IT applications, project performance & project benefits. The mediating effect of interface management in relationship between project performance & interfacial factors was also investigated. The research model was validated using PLS-SEM (Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling) approach. Data were collected from clients, contractors, consultants in large scale projects through questionnaire survey and smart-PLS software was used to analyse the conceptual model. The research model comprises eleven hypothesis and the significance of these hypothesis were tested using T- statistics values. The research implies that people/participants factor is greatly influenced by interface management with the path coefficient of 0.608 and also enhancement of project's schedule performance due to the interface management is strongly appealing (Path coefficient = 0.711). The results also reveal IT application is significantly associated with interface management practice (Path coefficient =0.723) and also the effect of IT application on project performance (schedule, cost, quality & safety) is successfully mediated through interface management practice. The practical application of this validated model was done through case study. The case study aims at measuring the impact of interface management on interfacial factors and role of interface management in improving the project performance in the construction organisations.

Purpose: To explore the application prospect of support vector machine (SVM) in supply chain management and its practical application in supply chain performance evaluation practice. Research design, data and methodology: This paper establishes the performance evaluation index system of supply chain management according to the balanced scorecard (BSC) theory, and establishes the SVM model of supply chain management performance evaluation based on the SVM principle. Results: The performance evaluation results of the supply chain of an electric power equipment Co., Ltd. in Harbin established by using the model are consistent with the actual situation, which indicates the nature and accuracy of the possible reflection of the established supply chain performance evaluation model. Conclusions: The results show that SVM model can be used to evaluate enterprise supply chain management performance indicators, and can improve enterprise supply chain management performance, thus demonstrating the effectiveness of the model.

최근 공공연구기관에서 창출된 연구성과의 활용을 통한 경제적 부가가치의 창출이 R&D 정책의 핵심이슈로 등장하고 있다. 따라서 우리나라도 국가 R&D 성과의 활용 촉진을 위해 다양한 정책을 추진 중에 있으나, 연구성과가 효과적으로 활용 확산되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구는 공공연구기관의 성과관리 활용 역량 및 활동이 기술이전 성과에 미치는 영향에 대해 실증적으로 분석하였다. 국내 주요 R&D 수행 대학과 과학기술분야 출연(연) 등 총 84개 기관을 대상으로 2011년 성과관리 활용 역량 및 활동과 기술이전 성과에 관한 자료를 수집해 분석에 활용하였다. 성과관리 활용 역량은 전담조직 운영 유무, 연구자 대비 전담인력 비율, 기술이전 및 사업화 예산으로 측정하였으며, 성과관리 활용 활동은 3P 분석의 정규적 수행, 사전심의의 정규적 수행, 사후관리의 정규적 수행으로 측정하였다. 분석 결과, 성과관리 활용 역량과 관련해 전담조직 운영과 기술이전 및 사업화 예산은 기술이전 성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 성과관리 활용 활동과 관련해 3P 분석의 정규적 수행, 사전심의의 정규적 수행, 사후관리의 정규적 수행은 모두 기술이전 성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 기술이전 등 성과활용 촉진을 위해 요구되는 성과관리 활용 역량 및 활동에 대한 시사점을 도출할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 향후 국가 R&D의 성과활용 촉진을 위한 정책 수립, 특히 성과관리 활용 전담조직 및 예산 확보뿐만 아니라 연구자의 성과관리 활용 촉진을 위한 인식 제고와 함께 적극적인 활동을 견인할 수 있는 지침을 마련하는데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

Recently, Service Level Management(SLM) including SLA has been developing to manage the level of information systems service. Although previous SLA studies have provided the conceptual model and critical success factors, the studies have not tested the effectiveness of the SLA by way of the empirical study. In this study, we applied an innovation decision making theory to our model and tested an empirical study using of a firm survey data. We suggested a SLM model, which consists of SLA planning, application, management dimensions. We found that the SLM's management stage has an impact on performance, whereas SLM's planning and application has not. At each sub dimensional analysis, there are found that adequate SLA indicators in the application stage influences performance and change management and feedback & reporting in the management stage influence performance.

The main objectives of this paper are as follows: 1) identifying th procedural characteristics of application software package acquisition and, 2) analyzing the relationship between those characteristics and MIS performance. Three stages and thirty core tasks of the application software package acquisition process were identified after reviewing relevant literature. The model specifying the relationship between procedural characteristics of application software package acquisition and MIS performance was established and 12 hypotheses were derived. Data were collected form 41 Korean companies and hypotheses were tested empirically.

본 연구에서는 기업의 핵심 요소로 꼽히고 있는 IT(information technology) 역량과 공급체인의 위험관리 요인과 기업의 사업성과 간의 구조적 관계를 규명하였다. 이를 위해서 공급체인 위험관리를 수행하고 있는 153개 기업들을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였고, 구조방정식모형(Structural equation model)으로 실증분석을 하였다. 먼저 기업의 IT 인프라 요인을 선행변수로, IT 활용과 공급체인 위험관리의 요인을 매개변수로 설정하였다. 기업의 사업성과 요인과 함께 연구모형에 포함시켜 실증분석을 한 결과 다음과 같은 연구결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 기업의 IT 인프라 요인은 기업의 IT 활용과 위험관리요인에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 기업의 IT 활용 요인은 기업의 사업성과 요인에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 공급체인의 위험관리 요인은 기업의 사업성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 이는 기업이 IT 인프라에 대한 투자가 이루어졌을 때 IT 활용의 수준과 위험관리의 수준이 높아져 기업의 사업성과를 향상시킬 수 있고, IT 인프라를 구축하여 공급체인 위험관리의 수준을 향상시키지만 IT 활용 수준이 높아진다고 해서 위험관리의 수준이 높아지는 것은 아니라는 연구결과를 도출하였다. 본 연구는 최근 SCM 구축 기업들의 IT 활용과 위험관리 수준의 사업성과에 영향을 미치는 것에 향후 공급체인 위험관리의 효과적인 실행을 고려한 연구가 진행되어야 하겠다.

우리나라는 국가 R&D에 대한 지속적인 투자 증대를 통해 논문과 특허 등의 양적 성장을 성공적으로 이루었다. 하지만 양적 성장만큼 질적 수준의 제고가 이루어지지 않아 연구개발 생산성(기술료 수입/연구비) 등 기술이전 사업화 실적이 상대적으로 미흡한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 공공연구기관의 연구성과를 효과적으로 관리 활용할 수 있는 방안을 모색해야 한다. 본 연구는 선도적으로 성과관리 활용을 이행하고 있는 공공연구기관을 대상으로 사례 연구를 수행하였다. 사례 연구를 위해 총 4개의 기관(대학 2개, 출연(연) 2개)을 선정하였으며, 이를 통해 사례들의 공통성을 규명하고 일반화함으로써 시사점을 제시하였다. 분석 결과, 4개 기관은 모두 연구기획부터 기술이전 사업화까지 연계된 성과관리 활용 체계를 구축하고 있었다. 기획 단계부터 명확한 목표를 설정하고 기업의 수요를 반영하였으며, 우수기술 발굴을 위해 내 외부 전문가를 활용하여 선행기술조사 및 사전심의를 실시하였다. 또한 미활용 특허의 매각, 무분별한 특허 출원의 방지 및 특허 등록율의 제고 등을 통해 전략적인 특허 관리를 수행하였고, 기업의 기술 니즈 분석, 적극적 수요기업 발굴 등 기술마케팅과 사후관리를 체계적으로 지원하였다. 이 외에도 성과관리 활용 전담조직의 전문성을 제고하여 연구자와 유기적으로 협력하였으며, 성과 확산을 위해 성과관리 활용 관련 시스템 및 제도가 뒷받침되었다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 향후 국내 공공연구기관의 성과관리 활용 수준이 제고되기를 기대한다.

Knowledge Management (KM) is the systematic, explicit, and deliberate building, renewal, and application of knowledge to maximize an enterprise's knowledge-related effectiveness and performance from its knowledge assets. KM applies systematic approaches to find, understand, and use knowledge to create new capabilities, solve problems, enable superior performance, and encourage innovation. The purpose of this research is to identify the relationship of KM capabilities (KM infrastructures and KM processes) and organizational effectiveness and performance. An empirical research of the relationship of knowledge management capabilities and organizational effectiveness and performance is conducted from the information systems and knowledge management literature in order to access the following questions: (1) Does the knowledge management infrastructure contribute to the organizational effectiveness and peformance? (2) Does the knowledge management process contribute to the organizational effectiveness and peformance? The research design employs a mail survey questionnaire for gathering data from 500 firms in a number of industries. From a mail survey of 61 top managers of knowledge management, the results of empirical analyses provide the following major findings: (1) While the external effectiveness of organization is influenced by the cultural infrastructure of knowledge management, the overall performance of organization is influenced by the structural infrastructure of knowledge management. (2) While the external effectiveness of organization is influenced by the application and protection processes of knowledge management, the overall performance of organization is influenced by the knowledge acquisition process of knowledge management.

This paper is to analyze consumer's acceptance phase of innovative IT product on the ground of dividing into product and application phase. In the acceptance phase of product determinants to consumer's satisfaction were analyzed and TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) were applied to the acceptance phase of application. It is analyzed that how well expected usefulness and perceived satisfaction to product have positively influence its performance and perceived satisfaction respectively in the acceptance phase of the product. In the acceptance phase of application, factors to consumers' satisfaction were analyzed to investigate its influence to the usefulness of application. Usefulness expectancy to the application and product were analyzed to figure out consumers'intention to use the product and effort and cost going into application use were also analyzed. Empirical study was implemented aimed at smart phone users. As a result, perceived usefulness expectancy to product have positively influence on perceived product performance and perceived product performance also affects perceived product satisfaction significantly. Although product satisfaction doesn't affect usefulness expectancy to the application, usefulness expectancy to the product and perceived product performance have positively influence on usefulness expectancy to the application significantly. And also usefulness expectancy to the both of application and product have positively influence on consumer's intention to use the product but consumer's effort and cost going into application doesn't affect to it, it's hold forth the possibility that consumer's effort affect consumer's intention to use the product.

Construction projects have become increasingly complex in recent years, resulting in substantial safety hazards and frequent fall accidents. In an attempt to prevent fall accidents, various safety management systems have been developed. These systems have mainly been evaluated qualitatively and subjectively by practitioners or supervisors, and there are few tools that can be used to quantitatively evaluate the performance of safety management systems. We propose an expertise-based safety performance evaluation model (EXSPEM), which integrates a fuzzy approach-based analytic hierarchy process and a regression approach. The proposed model uses S-shaped curves to represent the degree of contribution by subjective expertise and is verified by a genetic algorithm. To illustrate its practical application, EXSPEM was applied to evaluate the safety performance of a newly developed real-time mobile detector monitoring system. It is expected that this model will be a helpful tool for systematically evaluating the application of a robust safety control and management system in a complex construction environment.
