중등학교 수학교사의 평가에 대한 인식 조사 (Secondary mathematics teachers' perceptions on assessment)

  • 본 연구는 중등학교 수학교사의 평가에 대한 인식을 조사하고 비교하기 위하여 진행되었다. 이를 위해 인천지역에 근무하는 중학교 188명, 고등학교 125명의 수학교사로부터 평가에 관한 6가지 영역과 과정 중심 평가에 대한 일반적인 인식에 대하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 자료는 중요도-수행도 분석기법(IPA)을 사용하여 학교급별, 경력별, 학교규모별로 비교 분석하였다. 주요 연구 결과로 대부분의 영역에서 중학교 수학교사들이 고등학교에 비해 중요도와 수행도 모두 높게 나타났다. 경력별로는 경력이 높을수록 높은 중요도-높은 수행도, 낮은 중요도-낮은 수행도가 많이 나타나고. 학교규모가 클수록 낮은 중요도-높은 수행도에 다양한 의견이 나타났다.

  • 이 연구는 설명적 순차 설계를 이용하여 화학 교사의 수업에서 수행되는 8가지 수행평가 방식에 대한 고등학교 학생들의 인식을 알아보았다. 이를 위해 10개 고등학교의 439명 학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였으며, 이후 5개 학교의 28명 학생을 대상으로 면담을 진행하여 설문 결과를 해석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학생들은 다양한 수행평가 방식보다는 편중된 평가 방식을 경험하고 있었다. 둘째, 학생들은 가장 재미있게 느꼈던 수행평가 방식에서는 직관적 확인 가능 여부, 진로와의 관계, 내적 성장 등을 언급하였으며, 어려움을 느꼈던 수행평가 방식에서는 준비도와 불명확한 평가 기준을 언급하였다. 셋째, 학생들은 화학 과목과 관련이 적은 개인의 능력에 영향을 받을 수 있다고 생각되거나 평가 기준이 상대적으로 불명확하다고 생각할수록 적절한 수행평가 방식이 아니라고 인식하고 있었다.

치과위생사의 직무수행능력 평가도구 개발 (Development of job performance assessment tool for dental hygienists)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to develop a job performance assessment tool for dental hygienists. Methods : The development consisted of three steps. The first step was to construct the contents of the assessment tool and a pretest questionnaire. In the second step, validity and reliability tests were done and modified for the pretest questionnaires and an assessment tool was made. The third step was verification of the assessment tool. A total of 678 data from the dental hygienists were analyzed to verify the validity and reliability. The assessment tool consisted of two areas such as job performance and competency/attitude: the job performance area covered four sub-areas including oral health education, preventive dental care, assistance for dental treatment, and administrative management. Results : The number of questions and reliability test result for each sub-area were as follows. Reliability coefficient for oral health education (10 questions) was 0.899, preventive dental care (8 questions) was 0.861, assistance for dental treatment (18 questions) was 0.915, administrative management (8 questions) was 0.919, competency of dental hygienists (11 questions) was 0.947, and attitude of dental hygienists (15 questions) was 0.955. Cronbach ${\alpha}$ coefficient for reliability of total 70 questions of the assessment tool was 0.980. Conclusions : The validity of the assessment tool was verified by three steps and the reliability proved to be significant. Consequently the assessment tool was found to be useful as an objective and valid job performance assessment tool for the dental hygienists.

  • Nowadays, AEC industry tries to adopt BIM for low-carbon and eco-friendly building development. With increasing environment policies, many of global construction projects require the adoption of BIM for its many advantages. The advantages can be maximized with Open BIM since it can produce optimal results for various purposes of energy performance assessment. However there are some troubles in representation and property information in the process of Open BIM based energy performance assessment. To examine such troubles, this study focuses on differences between IFC of Open BIM and IDF format of Energy Plus known as the most accurate and diverse energy performance assessment. Two issues the study addresses are form representation and property information. The study figures out the different definition of IFC and IDF, and suggests the way of interoperability. The interoperability test of IFC for building energy performance assessment hope to develop of Open BIM based energy assessment.

  • The aim of this study is to investigate the purpose of the performance assess-ment, to develop and to apply it's task. By reviewing previous study, I conclude that the performance assessment is sug-gested to evaluate mathematical thinking and attitude in the purpose of school mathematics. To develop the task to fit the purpose of the performance assessment, I refer to the middle and high level in Van den Heuvel's classification the task "Find the number in the star" and about the assess-ment of school mathematics. Then I apply the performance assessment task developed according to this level, analyse the responses of children to "Let's make the problem" and suggest it's assessment rubric and anchor papers for each level for illustrating the process of developing a rubric. Finally, considerations to improve the performance assessment are discussed.

  • It is required that an evaluation method that can present the performance after remodeling to residents objectively as the increase in demand for remodeling. New construction is able to evaluate through housing performance grading indication system. However, there are some parts that are difficult to apply as assessment criteria of new construction in remodeling. The purpose of this study is to establish the assessment criteria direction for each item in remodeling performance evaluation. In conclusion, we set up institutionalized items for remodeling performance evaluation, and propose to assessment criteria direction based on the characteristics of remodeling on extracted items.

  • The paper-and-pencil multiplce choise test has been widely used to identify gifted and talented student in Korea. Such test have several drawbacks; such~a s not being able to assess creative problem solving abilities and high level thinking abilities which are important characteristics of gifted students. The Korean Educational Development Institute (KEDI) developed a performance assessment which challenged traditional methods of identification. The 5-day summer camp was held to select gifted students for the Korean Minjok Leadership Academy. 211 students were evaluated in the aspects of creative problem solving abilities, high level thinking abilities, task commitments, and cooperativeness with various performance tasks, such as essay tests, conversations, oral examinations, computer simulations, puzzles, experiments, group discussions, debates, research reports, and games. As a result, it was found that there were several limitations of the performance assessment in terms of low reliability, requiring high costs and many professionals, and taking long times and large spaces. 수학과 수행평가과제의 개발 및 적용이 수학 학습 태도에 미치는 영향 - 중학교 1학년을 중심으로 - (The Influence on the Learning Attitude of the Development and Application of Mathematical Performance Assessment Tasks - Focused on 1st Grade Middle School Students -)

  • The purposes of this study are to develop the mathematical performance assessment tasks and to apply them to the middle school students. And I also intend to know the students' inclination and learning attitude to mathematics. In order to satisfy this study, I developed the performance assessment tasks and the standard program of marking about the mathematical function and statistics for the first grade students at middle school. After examining the students' basic investigation, their inclination and learning attitude to mathematics, I applied these developed tasks to them After that I put both classes and performance assessment into operation in all 15 periods. I set up two classes of the first grade students (49 students) at J middle school in Kongju, Chungcheongnam-do as a model group. The results of this study are as follows: First, owing to the developed performance assessment tasks of function and statistics, the teachers can operate the assessment system as a process of teaching and learning. Second, because of the application of mathematical performance assessment tasks, we can change the students' inclination and learning attitude to mathematics affirmatively. And by using these tasks, we can help the students to think mathematically. In this way, the students will be able to realize the real value of mathematics and have a growing interest in mathematics through all these meaningful processes. Judging from this study, we can elevate the students' abilities of problem solving and reasoning and improve teaching-learning method by applying the performance assessment tasks to them. Thanks to these tasks, the students will be changed affirmatively in their inclination and learning attitude to mathematics. I think that these tasks are very good assessment method which can call forth curiosity and interest. Besides, they can also help the students realize the real value of mathematics.

초등학교 도덕과 웹기반 수행평가 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Web-Based Performance Assessment System for Elementary School Moral Education)

  • 초등학교 도덕과 교육에서 수행평가는 인지적 영역뿐만 아니라 정의적 영역이나 행동적 영역의 평가가 조화롭게 이루어져야 한다. 그리고 평가의 객관성이나 신뢰성에 대한 집착보다는 평가내용의 타당성과 과정을 중시하는 평가가 이루어지기 위해서는 가정과 연계가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 초등학교 도덕과 수행평가의 특징들을 파악하고 평가유형별로 구분하여, 교사 학생 그리고 학부모가 모두 참여하는 웹기반 초등 도덕과 수행평가 시스템을 구현 적용하였다. 웹기반 도덕과 수행평가시스템의 개발로 학생은 언제 어디서나 수행평가를 실시하고, 평가결과를 봄으로써 자기 자신의 행동에 관심을 가지게 되었고, 학부모는 학생의 평가에 직접 참여함으로써 자녀에 대한 이해의 폭이 넓어지고 가정에서의 생활지도가 용이하게 되었다. 학교와 가정의 연계를 통한 수행평가시스템은 학교에서 학습한 도덕과의 내용이 학교 밖의 실제 생활에서 학생들의 지식과 기능을 적용하는데 많은 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다.

  • A man is a component of a large system how complex it may be so that human performance which can influence on the system safety should be included in system safety assessment. Meanwhile, human performance can vary over time due to lots of factors. Among them, stress is an indirect factor that may cause human error which can result in industrial accidents. To assess stress level of human workers, not a few assessment tools have been developed. However, it can be questionable to utilize them for human performance anticipation because they were mainly developed with the viewpoint of mental health, though stress assessment can be also required in the safety aspect. Therefore, this study aimed to survey the possibility of their application with safety purpose. About 10 kinds of work stress tools were collected and analyzed with reference to assessment items, assessment and analysis methods, and follow-up measures. The results showed that most tools focused their weights on Demands, Supports, and Relationships, in sequence. However, they, except only one tool developed by the Japanese researchers, merely advised to set up counterplans in PDCA cycle or risk management activities. In consequence, application of stress assessment tools mainly developed for mental health seemed impractical for safety purpose with respect to human performance anticipation so that it was concluded that development of a new assessment tools aimed to human performance variation and accident prevention would be inevitable.
