Leader legitimacy perception is chosen as the mediating variable to understand the effect of emotional leadership on employee work engagement. Research design, data and methodology: The research model is based on theory and empirical research findings in order to examine the mediating effect of leader legitimacy perception on the relationship between the manager's emotional leadership and employee work engagement. For this purpose, a survey was conducted among 188 employees of domestic retail distributors. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and survey data confirmed the construct, and the hypothesis was tested by using structural equation modeling (SEM). Results: a) Emotional leadership has positive influence on leader legitimacy; b) Leader legitimacy is positively related to work engagement; c) Leader legitimacy mediates a positive relationship between emotional leadership and work engagement. However, there is no direct effect on work engagement (of employees) from emotional leadership standpoint. • There are many ways to identify airline's perception of the safety program and safety culture. In particular, various studies are under way to measure airline safety culture and safety awareness of airline employees. Often, survey methods are used a lot, but there is a limit to understanding the complex and diverse aviation culture through surveys alone. Nevertheless, the Air Safety Management System (SMS) of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) emphasizes the importance of safety surveys as a means of ensuring awareness of safety culture. The safety surveys is effective in identifying and providing awareness of the relationship between employees and the Air Safety Program (SMS, Safety Management and Safety Culture aspects). In this study, we conducted a survey of Z Airlines flight attendants and cabin crew to compare their perception of safety programs and culture, and based on this survey, we would like to compare and analyze simple safety culture measurements and safety awareness.

Data for analysis is collected from each sample using interview with structured questionnaires. Compliance is measured by 5 point scale composed by 8 sub items such as general perception, understanding, clearness, necessity, relevancy, implementation, penalty, and general compliance of the regulation. Among sub items of employer's compliance, the level of perception of regulation, necessity of regulation, relevancy of penalty are differentiated among three groups.
