실내공기질에 따른 재실자의 인식성 공기질 평가 (Perceived Air Quality Assessment of Occupants According to Indoor Air Quality)

  • Perceived air quality (PAQ) is defined as evaluation of indoor air satisfaction and comfortable sensory by occupants. However, there are differences between criteria of indoor pollutants and lowest sensory thresholds. In this study, we compared indoor PAQ by questionnaire with measured benzene, toluene and nitrogen dioxide ($NO_2$) concentrations in home indoors. The $NO_2$ concentration was the highest in Seoul, while benzene and toluene were the highest in Asan. Average PAQ score in winter was higher than that in summer. Significant correlations between PAQs of home indoor air pollution and measured pollutant concentrations were not shown and correlation coefficients (r) ranged between -0.453

일부지역 치과위생사의 치과진료실 실내공기질에 대한 만족도 및 자각증상 비교 (The satisfaction and subjective symptom level by indoor air quality in dental parlor in Capital and Jeon-nam area)

  • Objectives : A precedent research has documented that indoor air pollution is closely associated with increased the risk of symptom and decreased in job satisfaction. This study was conducted in an effort to assess the relationship of indoor air quality to self-perceived symptom and satisfied with working environment. Methods : This research is based on self-filling survey which 393 dental hygienists who work in seoul and Jeon-nam area participated on October 2010 through January 2011. This survey was compared and analyzed about the level of satisfaction and subjective symptom by the indoor air quality that dental office's working environment. Results : The result of satisfaction degree of hospital working environment was pretty low about office air. Most people mentioned that they were sore and dull all over the back, shoulder, and neck. Also, they were drowsy and exhausted in work place. Conclusions : In conclusion, it is need to improve their quality of life and mental health by developing proper air conditioning system and using one in their work place.

An Investigation into Improving Service Quality Distribution and Perceived Value in the Passenger Loyalty of Low-Cost Airlines in Thailand

  • Purpose: To study, analyze, and investigate how to improve the service quality distribution and perceived value of passenger loyalty in low-cost airlines in Thailand. Research Design, data, and methodology: The data was collected from low-cost airline passengers who had used low-cost airlines within Thailand more than twice in the last 12 months. In total, 632 questionnaires were received, representing 97.32%, and in-depth interviews were done using the semi-structured technique. The key informants were either executives or representatives from 4 low-cost airlines operating in Thailand. We utilized structural modeling techniques to examine the data relevant to the investigation. Results: The results show that low-cost airline passengers in Thailand have strong opinions about the perceived value of the passenger loyalty of low-cost airlines within this sector of the Thai air travel industry. The variables were sorted in order of importance and included passenger loyalty, satisfaction, trust, perceived value, and service quality distribution. The relationship between the service quality distribution variables and the significance in relation to passenger loyalty according to low-cost airlines in Thailand showed that service quality distribution had a positive effect on perceived value and that passenger satisfaction has a direct positive effect on passenger loyalty. Conclusions: The 8 QPSTL strategy is successful in terms of service quality distribution and passenger satisfaction, therefore it is an important aspect of low-cost airlines in Thailand.

Associations of Ambient Air Pollutant Concentrations With Respiratory Symptoms and Perceived Health Status in Japanese Adults With and Without Chronic Respiratory Diseases: A Panel Study

  • Objectives: In recent years, transboundary air pollution from mainland East Asia has led to growing concerns about air pollution in Japan. Air pollution is reportedly associated with the exacerbation of respiratory diseases. In this study, we assessed the effects of air pollution on respiratory symptoms and the health status of participants with and without chronic respiratory diseases. Methods: Participants (n=2753) with and without chronic respiratory diseases who visited healthcare facilities in Japan during February from 2010 to 2015 filled out a self-report questionnaire regarding their symptoms and perceived health status. Participants were followed up during April-May and June-July. Results: Oxidant concentrations were associated with respiratory symptoms, overall health, and quality of life (QoL). Suspended particulate matter (SPM) and particulate matter <$2.5{\mu}m$ levels were associated with physical fitness; SPM was also associated with QoL. Recent experience of an Asian sand dust event had a significant effect on allergic symptoms, change in health, and QoL. Conclusions: Respiratory symptoms were more strongly affected by oxidants than by other pollutants. Significant associations of air pollutants were found with a comprehensive range of items related to perceived health status, including overall health and QoL. Although the effects of air pollutants on respiratory symptoms and health status were more apparent among patients with respiratory diseases, the adverse effects of air pollutants were significant even among participants without such conditions.

Distribution of Air Tickets through Online Platform Recommendation Algorithms

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to collect and analyze a large amount of data from online ticket distribution platforms that offer multiple airlines and different routes so that they can improve their ticket distribution marketing strategies and provide services that are more suitable for consumer's needs. The results of this study will help airlines improve the quality of their online platform services to provide more benefits and convenience by providing access to multiple airlines and routes around the world on one platform. Research design, data and methodology: For the study, 200 people completed the survey between May 1 and June 15, 2024, of which 191 copies were used in the study. Results: The hypothesis testing results of this study showed that among the components of the recommendation algorithm, decision comport, novelty, and evoked interest recurrence had a positive effect on perceived recommendation quality, but curiosity did not have a positive effect on recommendation quality. The perceived recommendation quality of the online platform positively influenced recommendation satisfaction, and the higher the perceived recommendation quality, the higher the intention to continue the relationship. Finally, higher recommendation satisfaction was associated with higher relationship continuation intention. Conclusion: it's important to continue researching online ticketing platforms. Online platforms will also need to be systems that use technology and data analytics to provide a better user experience and more benefits.

항공사 객실승무원의 조직지원인식과 직무몰입의 관계성 연구: 국내 저비용항공사를 중심으로 (A Study on the Relationship between Cabin Crew's Perceived Organizational Support and Their Work Commitment: Focusing on Low Cost Carrier in Korea)

  • Due to globalization, the air transport industry plays a key role in the global economy. In particular, the air transport industry is highly dependent on human resources, and the capabilities of the cabin crews in managing safety and providing service in a cabin depend on the service quality and the success of the company's human resource management. Therefore, systematic support and interest in competitive key personnel are believed as very important factors. Airlines need to improve the work engagement of airline cabin crew through organizational supportive efforts. Thus this paper surveyed 309 cabin crews who worked at low cost carrier and conducted an empirical analysis based on survey results. The study validates hypotheses pertaining the relationship between organizational identification and job commitment of cabin crew according to the airline's perception of organizational support. The comprehensive analysis reveals that perceived organization support has a significantly positive impact on cabin crews' work engagement.

출입문 개폐에 의한 전동차 객실 CO2 저감효과 분석 (Quantitative Analysis of CO2 Reduction by Door-opening in the Subway Cabin)

  • The guidelines for indoor air quality of public transportations such as subway, train and bus was presented by Korean Ministry of Environment last end of year 2006 based on the great consequence of indoor air quality in daily life. Two main parameters, carbon dioxide($CO_2$) and particulate matters smaller than $10\;{\mu}m(PM_{10})$, were selected as index pollutants for the management of indoor air quality. The former pollutant, $CO_2$, is regarded as index of ventilation status and the major source of $CO_2$ in the train or subway is the exhalation of passengers. It is publically perceived that the high $CO_2$ concentration in a crowded subway will be reduced and ventilated with outdoor air by door-opening taken every 2 or 3 minutes when the train stops each station. However, there has not been any scientific proof and quantitative information on the effect of door-opening on the $CO_2$ reduction by ventilation with outdoor air. In this study, $CO_2$ concentration and number of passengers were measured at each station on the 3 lines of Korail metropolitan subway. In order to evaluate the effect of $CO_2$ reduction by door opening, the theoretical approach using the $CO_2$ balance equation was performed. By comparing the predicted data with monitoring one, the optimum $CO_2$ dilution factor was determined. For the first time, it was quantified that about 35% of $CO_2$ concentration in the subway indoor was removed by the door-opening at each station.

컬러TV 제품의 오염물질 방출특성 평가방법과 관리 기준안 설정에 대한 연구 (Evaluation Methods for Chemical Emissions from TV Products and Establishing Criteria for the Perceived Indoor Air Quality)

  • During recent years, various studies have demonstrated that indoor chemical pollution causes health problem and also negatively affect the performance of work by occupants. Building materials have been concerned as indoor chemical sources. Some of guidelines and certification system has been developed and resulted as dramatic decrease of harmful indoor chemicals such as formaldehyde and volatile organic compounds. Also, Home furniture and electrical devices has been concerned as one the primary influence the indoor chemical concentration in residential spaces. It is found that various kinds of electric home appliances have a significant source of chemical emission in indoor environments. In this study, the methodologies of detecting harmful chemicals from various kinds of products has been developed with large chamber measurement system and suggest some of the evaluation method for the chemicals from the home appliances as TV sets.

관측 자료와 인지의 불일치: 대기 오염에 따른 의료 비용 및 소비 지출에 관한 분석 (Mismatch of Perception and Data: Air Pollution, Medical Expenses, and Consumption in South Korea)

  • 다양한 대기질 관측 자료는 우리나라의 대기 오염이 지속적으로 개선되고 있음을 보여 준다. 하지만 일반 시민들은 최근 대기 오염 상태가 심각하며, 이로 인한 경제적 부담이 증가하였다고 인식한다. 본 연구는 이러한 인지와 관측된 자료의 차이 그리고 의료 비용 및 소비 지출에 대한 경제학적 쟁점을 세 가지로 분석하였다. 첫째, 검색량 분석과 시군구 단위 대기 오염 물질 농도 변화의 비교 분석을 통해 인지와 관측된 자료의 불일치를 확인하였다. 둘째, 의료경제모형을 이용하여 대기 오염과 의료비 지출의 이론 모형을 도출하고, 계량경제모형을 통해 대기 오염의 개선에 따른 의료 비용 감소를 실증하였다. 셋째, 소비 지출 분석을 통해 우리나라의 대기 오염에 의한 경제적 부담 증가는 소비 지출 항목에 의존하고 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 우리나라 대기 오염의 사회경제적 영향을 분석 시, 분석항목에 따른 과대추정의 가능성과 대기 오염의 개선과 관련한 역해석의 문제가 있을 수 있음을 보여준다. 또한 본 연구의 결과는 대기질 관리의 보다 엄격한 기준 적용의 필요성, 방어적 소비재에 대한 사회취약층에 대한 고려 그리고 대기 오염 관련 정보의 접근성 향상 및 신뢰성 회복이 필요하다는 정책적 함의를 가진다.

항공사 서비스 품질의 중요도와 만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Importance and Satisfaction of Airline Service Quality)

  • 본 연구는 승객들이 인식하는 항공사 서비스 품질에 대한 중요도와 만족도가 어떠한 차이가 있는지를 분석하고 이를 통해 궁극적으로 항공사의 서비스 품질 개선을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 목적으로 수행되었다. 항공사 서비스 품질에 대한 중요도와 만족도를 알아보기 위해 중요도-만족도 분석(Importance-performance analysis: IPA)을 이용하였고, 분석결과 한국 국제선 승객이 인지하고 있는 항공사 서비스 품질에 대한 중요도와 만족도는 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 IPA 결과 한국을 운항하는 항공사들이 무엇보다도 개선을 위한 집중적인 노력을 기울여야 하는 서비스 요인인 승객들이 중요하게 여기고 있지만 실제로 만족하지 못하는 서비스 요인은 '기내식', '좌석의 안락감', '좌석의 폭과 다리를 뻗는 공간', '탑승수속 서비스'인 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구의 IPA결과를 토대로 항공사들은 강점과 약점을 파악하고 이를 통해 궁극적으로 항공사의 수익을 극대화 할 수 있는 방안을 세워야 할 것이다.
