Ureteral trauma is rare, accounting for less than 1% of all urologic traumas. However, a missed ureteral injury can result in significant morbidity and mortality. The purpose of this case presentation is to suggest another method for early detection of ureteral injury in blunt traumatic patient. A 47-years-old man was injured in pedestrian traffic accident. He undergone 3-phase abdominal CT initially and had had a short-term follow-up simple. We suspected ureteral injury. Our final diagnosis of a ureteral injury was based on follow-up and antegrade pyeloureterography, he underwent emergency surgery. We detected the ureteral injury early and took a definitive action within 24 hours. In blunt trauma, if abnormal fluid collection in the perirenal retroperitoneal space is detect, the presence of a ureteral injury should be suspected, so a short-term simple X-ray or abdominal CT, within a few hours after initial abdominal CT, may be useful.

Recently indoor and outdoor location tracking systems are operated in different ways. The indoor positioning method uses WiFi and BLE beacon positioning, and the outdoor positioning uses GPS and PDR. In this paper, it is a device to measure position by using it. It is used to check whether it is indoors or outdoors when measuring based on a smart phone, A automatic conversion method is needed. When using GPS in the room, it is difficult to distinguish the floor or space. We propose a method to solve this problem.
Singapore has seen a phenomenal and an unprecedented transformation from a swampland to a high density urban environment since its independence in 1965, made possible largely and single-handedly by the sustained efforts of its government. Indeed, urban space is a key vehicle for achieving urban social, environmental, economic, and cultural sustainability. The dense urban context in Singapore has seen an emergence and increase in elevated spaces in the form of sky-gardens, sky-bridges and sky-courts in a range of building types, seemingly seeking to tie together the different horizontal and vertical components of the city. This paper, therefore, examines the effectiveness of elevated urban spaces and pedestrian networks in Singapore and their ability to contribute to the horizontal to vertical transitions, and consequently to the urban vitality and accessibility. It does this through the analysis of two key developments: Marina Bay Sands and the Jurong Gateway. In particular, it considers the implications of certain constraints placed on urban spaces by their inherent location at height, in addition to the familiar privatization of public spaces, over-management of spaces, and their somewhat utilitarian characteristics. The paper argues that some of these issues may pose detrimental effects on the publicness of these spaces that in turn may lead to such spaces being underused and therefore adding redundancies and further stress to Singapore's urban land. Finally, the paper outlines key strategies that may help overcome the aforementioned issues, including the disjuncture associated with elevated spaces such that they may become a seamless extension of the urban spaces on ground.

Commercial facilities are put under construction for inhabited remodeling due to management or cost issues. Temporary facility planning is important in inhabited remodeling because building construction and management are simultaneously performed in this type of remodeling. The purpose of this research is to identify how the temporary spatial structure changes for each inhabited remodeling construction level of commercial facilities and existence of tenants affect the spatial usability. It also examines a relationship between the traffic flow and spatial configurations during the inhabited remodeling process where the tenants are temporarily removed and only the spatial configuration are maintained and verifies if the established theory that the spatial configurations in commercial facilities significantly affect the traffic is also valid during the inhabited remodeling process. The research result was found that the amount of traffic during the inhabited remodeling construction process is more affected by the factors such as tenants rather than spatial configurations. It is anticipated that the result of this research will serve as a guideline to establish logical inhabited remodeling plans for each level of constructing temporary facilities. Furthermore, it can be used to minimize the sales damage caused by the construction or as a guideline to determine the order of tenants to be moved into the new commercial facilities.

The agricultural tourism is something that urban people can have an experience of the traditional culture and knowledge of the agriculture, so that it result the improvement of the agricultural profit and keep the special agricultural system. Recently, the demand of the agricultural tourism was increasing, but it was not really enough today that the practice of the tourism for essential farm experience or physical plan. The experiments were practiced by a land in Sucheong-li, Namjong-myun, Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi-do which provides the program for the basic plan and management of the experiential farm, so it shows a developmental model of that typical farm. The basic design of developmental model was formed by the analysis of the natural, civilized and visual environments. The site plan for the experiential farm was composed of a parking lot, public facilities, resting place, experiential site, sports facilities and pedestrian space. There was an examination that the activation of experiential farm should change the concept of the big production or labor-focused farm from a tourism-focused form.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze image factors of places located in natural and humanistically superior geographical locations. It aims to analyze image recognition and spatiality of scenically historical Sahmyook University, located northeast of Gangneung, through standardization. Method: The analysis method of landscape is composed of data investigation and research, and elements of how students, faculty, and visitors recognize a place's beautiful image will be examined. Result: A phenomenological approach was applied to how the images of beautiful place were set by FGI group meeting, and how such factors affect beautiful place's perception from the user's point of view. When looking at comprehensive ranking of image factors in recognition of beautiful landscapes, factors corresponding to forest landscapes appear at the top rank. In determining factors for its recognition, shared space with natural elements such as water, trees, flowers, etc. has been analyzed to have the biggest influence. Among factors corresponding to urban landscape, 'streets and pedestrian paths' is of medium importance and are recognized for it is artificial structure coexisting with natural elements shared with humans. The image corresponding to 'city area' and 'architecture' was analyzed to have insignificant influence on beautiful places' image recognition for artificial element was prioritized.

The Seonwonjeon(璿源殿) in the Deoksugung Palace was initially the ritual space for the royal family affiliated with the Gyeongungung Palace during the Korean Empire. It is currently, however, empty, as a landscape restoration and maintenance plan is established as a part of the restoration project for the Seonwonjeon area. The following results were obtained through the historical investigation of the original form and examination of similar cases. First, the original topography of the backside grove, which had been in the Seonwonjeon area, is 3.0-5.0m higher than the base of the building, and a terraced flower bed(花階) was installed on the border of the green to set off the difference in a scenic way. Second, the backside grove was composed with fruit trees to bear fruits used in rites and pine trees which symbolize the ritual space. Third, resting places were established at both ends of the site for the convenience of visitors without interrupting the atmosphere of the sacred ground. A trail was also created inside the backside grove along with minimum landscape elements, including functionally required items, such as the signboard, bench, tree guard, ramp, street lights, and landscaping lights. Fourth, the information on original planting in the palace and ritual space was extracted through historical materials, such as literatures, antique paintings, and photographs along with site surveys. Based on the information acquired, a planting plan was established for the courtyard, pedestrian road, resting places, terraced flower bed, pine grove, and fruit tree garden, which constitute the landscaping space of the Seonwonjeon area.

This study mainly aims at suggesting plans applicable to the outdoor of environment-friendly communities in Korea by leveraging more natural conditions and materials when creating an outdoor biotop for an environment-friendly community and generating material types and development techniques enabling a natural circulation system. To this end, materials used in the outdoor of environment-friendly communities and traditional residential areas in Korea and biotop materials found in natural areas were examined. First, when the case examples of environment-friendly communities were reviewed, biotop spaces and materials that may function as habitats were hardly found. Materials used in biotop were mainly man-made structures made of artificial or processed materials, such as concrete, stones, bricks, woods and steels. Meanwhile, the outdoor space of traditional Korean villages had stone walls, soil walls, rock piles and composite piles, which composed of natural materials such as rocks, soil and plants, that naturally formed porous spaces along with the introduction of plants and provided habitats for a variety of insects. In natural areas, naturally created biotop spaces, such as rock piles, log piles, old tree deployment, branch piles, hay stacks and defoliated leaves, were found. Meanwhile, when spaces and materials available for biotop creation were reviewed to create an environment-friendly residential complex, they were divided into fences and hedges, green spaces between parks and residential buildings, ponds and waterscape spaces, zones separating pedestrian walks and roadways, breast walls and slope boundary, plant box and pergola. For each space, materials used for creating biotops and that were found in traditional Korean residential areas and natural areas were applied and suggested.

Ihis landscape design was proposed for the Remodeling for the National Theater of Korea Competition. Today, the National Theater of Korea, located in Jangchoongfong, Joong-gu, Seoul, asks plans for renovation. The landscape design for the remodeling of the theater is conducted as part of comprehensive programs for its renovation. The Government sought design proposals through a design competition in April, 2002. The authors proposed a landscape design for remodeling the National Theater of Korea and won first place in the competition. The landscape design covers the following a survey of the present status, a site analysis, a schematic design, and design, development. In the authors'design, heavens, humans, earth and nature are symbolically expressed within the site. The outdoor spaces of the National Theater of Korea are organically composed of the following low spaces : 1) a field of creation; 2) a field of recreation; 3) a field of meeting; and 4) a field of contemplation. The field of creation consists of a main entrance, spaces for public performance and plays, spaces with symbolic water features, and resting areas. The field of recreation is composed of various exhibition spaces. The field of meeting consists of traditional Korean-style gardens and an outdoor cafeteria. The field of contemplation features lawns, grasses and trees, and provides an area for pedestrian strolling. The outdoor spaces of the National Theater of Korea would produce an atmosphere suited to a cultural and artistic place. In the spaces, people would perceive a unique sense of place through various types of fountains, pergolas, columns, walls, light poles and bollards. An example of the true meaning of a cultural space and a resting place is provided in these spaces. The renovated National Theater of Korea would be a new type of theater with regional context, cultural meaning, spatial identity, various amenities with symbolic images, function and beauty.
The cultural tendency based on sharing and cooperation, which has recently been a hot issue, accelerates throughout the world. This study began with a perception that a sharing culture is inherent in urban public spaces. This study aims to conduct a theoretical study of the sharing culture and to analyze the characteristics of the design composition of public spaces. This study selected squares in 16 European cities as cases for analysis. The results are summarized as follows:1)To analyze the design characteristics of public spaces in which a sharing culture is inherent, this study drew the shape and type of planes and sharing elements such as accessibility, symbolism and activity with the squares in the cases. 2)The shape of planes in the squares in the cases has been formed in close relations with the historic meaning and events of the area and the process of the construction of buildings surrounding the square. The squares in the cases were classified into seven plane types, and these squares have developmentally contributed to the formation of a sharing culture as a place for free participation and communication concerning social issues. 3)In the squares in the cases, the weight of road-centered access appears high, and in terms of the construction of human-friendly / environment-friendly infrastructure in the city or judging from the trend of the recent increase of pedestrian-centered plans for public space, it is judged that approaches with a high utilization rate of sidewalk or public transportation would be desirable. 4)Symbolic elements of the square become a device by which citizens can share the historic symbolism, along with artistic inspiration. In addition, by serving as an observatory from which people can take a view of the landscape of the city, it allows visual sharing of the entire city as well as the square. 5)A square is common pool resources in the community, and it is necessary to vitalize that in a direction of increasing the possibility of sharing, through the characteristics and methods of the composition of public design.
