비철금속의 선삭시 절삭각과 이송량조정에 의한 절삭특성 분석 (Analysis of Cutting Specific in Non-ferrous Metal by Changed rake-angle and feed-rate adjustment at Turning)

  • In the present industry, there are necessary to cut not only iron metals but also non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, brass, plastic and wood(Paulownia). therefore it had been made the studies of non-ferrous metals by many scientists. we hope this kind of study will continue. The purpose of this study is to conduct the basic experiment about influencing of change the side rake angle at turning of non-ferrous metals. As the results, the surface roughnesses were on the increase with a increase of side-rake angle at the case of the plastic, brass, aluminum, and paulownia.

열처리(熱處理) 목재(木材)의 동적점탄성(動的粘彈性) (Dynamic Viscoelasticity of Heat Treated Wood)

  • The effect of heat treatment on the dynamic viscoelasticity of the woods of Picea sitchensis and Paulownia coreana which have been for musical instruments was investigated. The treatment was made in a temperature range of 60-180$^{\circ}C$ for periods of 3 hours to 24 hours. The results obtained are summarized as follows: Moisture absorption decreased with increasing temperature. Dynamic Young's modulus decreased with increasing temperature and hours. Dynamic viscoelasticity decreased with increasing moisture content, but internal friction increased with increasing amount of moisture content.

  • In the present industry, there is not only the cutting of iron metal, but also the cutting of alloy aluminum, brass and plastic to wood(Paulownia). A variety of material is used and these industry is made need of the cutting material but lots of experiments processing is not enough at the moment. At this point, our team processed the basic experiment about influencing of Feedrate and Backrake angle of bite concerned to manufacture in the turning of non-iron metal. Generally speaking, we recognized that there was occurrence of increase of Surface Roughness with increasing of cutting angle in the non-iron metal, but in the cutting of wood we knew, there was special change with change of cutting angle

  • 위축, 황화, 총생 증상 등 전형적인 병징을 나타내는 phytoplasma에 감염된 식물에서 phytoplasma만을 특이적으로 검출하기 위하여 polymerase chain reaction(PCR) 방법을 이용하였다. Phytoplasma의 16S rRNA gence의 DNA 단편을 증폭하기 위하여 1.4 kb primers (forward, 5` -GTTGATCCTGGCTCAGGATT-3` 와 reverse, 5` -AACCCCGAGAACGTATTCACC -3`)를 사용하여 증폭한 결과, phytoplasma에 이병된 오동나무, 라일락 및 미역취에서는 약 1.4 kbp의 위치에서 특이 band가 검출되었으나 control로 사용한 건전주에서는 어떠한 band 검출되지 않았다. 위의 결과를 재확인 하기 위하여 약 0.5 kb의 primers(forward, 5` -ACGAAAGCGTGGGGAGCAAA-3` 와 reverse, 5` -GAAGTCGAGTTGCAGACTTC-3`)를 사용하여 증폭한 결과, 0.5 kb의 위치에서 특이 band가 검출되었으나 control로 사용한 건전주에서는 어떠한 band도 검출되지 않았다. Phytoplasma에 이병된 식물의 PCR 반응산물을 제한효소인 AluI으로 처리하 sruf과, 오동나무와 라일락에서는 동일한 band pattern을 나타내어 서로 유연관계가 가까운 phytoplasma인 것으로 생각되며, 미역취에서는 이들과는 다른 band pattern을 나타내어 오동나무와 라일락의 phytoplasma와는 유연관계가 먼 것으로 추측된다.

감마선 조사에 의한 목재성질 변화에 관한 연구 (Study of the Changes in Wood Properties by Gamma Irradiation)

  • 본 연구는 감마선 조사가 소나무(Pinus densiflrora), 느티나무(Zelkovas serrenata), 오동나무(Paulownia tomentosa)의 세포벽 열화, 셀룰로오스 결정화도, 휨 강도에 미치는 영향을 구명하기 위해 수행되었다. 각 목재 시편들을 100 kGy 선량의 감마선 조사 후 주사전자현미경(scanning electron microscope; SEM) 관찰 결과, 목재 세포벽 열화는 관찰되지 않았으며 휨 강도 역시 현저한 변화가 나타나지 않았다. 감마선 조사에 의한 셀룰로오스 결정화도 역시 유의한 변화가 관찰되지 않았다. 이러한 감마선에 대한 목재의 높은 안전성은 감마선 조사 기술을 재질손상 없이 목재를 가해 중인 균류와 충류 구제를 위해 적용할 수 있음을 의미한다.

오동나무 추출물의 항산화 효능 (Antioxidative activities of Paulownia coreana extractives)

  • 오동나무잎, 열매, 내수피, 외수피 그리고 목질부를 채취하여 건조시킨 후 분말로 제조하여 각 시료 약 5.0 kg을 아세톤-물(7:3. v/v) 혼합용액으로 추출하고 유기용매를 제거한 후 헥산, 메틸렌클로라이드, 에틸아세테이트 및 물 등 네 개의 분획으로 분리하였다. 오동나무 각 부위별 추출물 수율은 내수피(11.35%)가 가장 높았고 잎(7.87%), 열매(6.94%), 외수피(4.24%)의 순 이었으며 목질부가 4.10%로 가장 낮게 나타났다. 오동나무 각 부위별 조추출물, 고형분과 분획물을 가지고 DPPH radical 소거법을 이용하여 기초적인 항산화 실험을 실시하였다. 기준물질로는 천연 항산화제인 ${\alpha}$-tocopherol과 합성항산화제인 BHT를 사용하여 항산화효능을 비교하였다. 그 중에서는 모든 EtOAc용성 분획이 기준물질 보다 더 우수한 항산화 활성을 나타내었다.

일본 메이지기 [明治期] 문관대례복의 성립과 형태적 특징 (Establishment of Western-style Court Dress and its Formal Characteristics in the Meiji Period of Japan)

  • The purpose of the study is analyzing Japanese modern costume, through examining legislation process and the relics of Chickimkwan's and Juimkwan's court costume. The results of the study are as follows. First, the proposer of civil court costume, established in 1872, was Iwakura Mission dispatched to America and Europe. The Mission realized the importance of preparing western-style costume in civilization from experience wearing traditional clothing at ceremony of presenting credentials in America. Afterwards, the Mission proposed that the government accept western-style as civil court costume and became first wearers in Japanese in England. Second, the difference, between ordinance and actual clothes worn by Iwakura Mission, occurred in process of legislation in 1872. That might be considered as trial and error in introducing different culture. The coexistence of England and French styles was unified into French style by the revision of civil court costume in 1886. Third, the pattern of paulownia embroidered on civil court costume was utilized as symbol of Japan. While the costume of Chickimkwan was embroidered by the pattern of 7 and 5 leaves paulownia, that of Juimkwan was 5 and 3 leaves expressing their grades. Fourth, relics research showed how formed manufacturer information and enacted design were in embroidery. The relics seemed to be manufactured in Japan, because emblem of Mitsukosi tailor was embroidered on inner part of the back of collar of Chickimkwan in Nara Women's University, Japan and that of Yamasaki on left inner pocket of Juimkwan in the Independence Hall, Korea. The embroider techniques comprised forming by filler particles according to the design, filling up coiled gold threads and expressing stem with gold threads and spangles. As preemptive study, establishment process of Japanese civil court costume in this study will help understand form characteristics appeared in civil court costume act of Korean Empire.

A Paulownia coreana Box for Storage of Annals of Joseon Dynasty: Its Efficacy and Functionality Evaluations of Temperature and Relative Humidity Control, and Microbe and Insect Repellent Activity

  • Paulownia coreana has various advantages as a convenient workability, aesthetic outlook, beautiful patterns, low weight and high strength, and its permeability. P. coreana has been widely used for storage but there are no empirical researches proving its functionality in a field of conservation science until now. In this study, the seasonal and daily temperature and relative humidity control, and microbe and insect repellent activity were evaluated under the controlled and uncontrolled circumstances from 2015 to 2016. The results showed to be mainly excellent in relative humidity control and the buffering effect was good to adjust the average daily relative humidity range from the outside. With respect to the antimicrobial properties of P. coreana, we observed that its water-soluble extract produced visible zones of inhibition against five bacteria. However, it was difficult to predict the antimicrobial and/or insecticidal properties.
