This study presents new scheme for various walking pattern of biped robot under the limitted enviroments. We show that the neural network is significantly more attractive intelligent controller design than previous traditional forms of control systems. A multilayer backpropagation neural network identification is simulated to obtain a learning control solution of biped robot. Once the neural network has learned, the other neural network control is designed for various trajectory tracking control with same learning-base. The main advantage of our scheme is that we do not require any knowledge about the system dynamic and nonlinear characteristic, and can therefore treat the robot as a black box. It is also shown that the neural network is a powerful control theory for various trajectory tracking control of biped robot with same learning-vase. That is, we do net change the control parameter for various trajectory tracking control. Simulation and experimental result show that the neural network is practically feasible and realizable for iterative learning control of biped robot.
The movement patterns of fish aggregations swimming freely near artificial reefs on August 24, 2006, at Suyeong Man, Busan, Korea, were acoustically investigated and analyzed. Acoustic surveys were conducted using a 70kHz split-beam echo sounder, 330 kHz side-scan sonar and a 310 kHz imaging sonar. Algorithms for tracking the movement of fish aggregations swimming in response to artificial reefs were developed. The travel direction and the swimming speed for two aggregations of fish were estimated from the trajectory orientations of echo responses recorded by the imaging sonar. The first group was floating just above the reef structure, while remaining in the midwater column, and the second group was swimming through and around artificial reefs near the seabed. The mean swimming speed was estimated to be 0.40 m/s for the midwater fish aggregation and 0.17 m/s for the bottom aggregation close to artificial reefs. These results suggest that the swimming behavior of fish aggregations passing close to artificial reefs near the seabed displayed a slower moving pattern than fish floating just above the reef structure in the midwater column.
Repetitive systems stand for a kind of systems that perform a simple task on a fixed pattern repetitively and are widely spread in industrial fields. Hence, those systems have been of much interests by many researchers, especially in the field of iterative learning control (ILC). In this paper, we propose a finite-horizon tracking control scheme for linear time-varying repetitive systems with uncertain initial conditions. The scheme is derived both analytically and numerically for state-feedback systems and only numerically for output-feedback systems. Then, it is extended to stable systems with input constraints. All numerical schemes are developed in the forms of linear matrix inequalities. A distinguished feature of the proposed scheme from the existing iterative learning control is that the scheme guarantees the tracking performance exactly even under uncertain initial conditions. The simulation results demonstrate the good performance of the proposed scheme.
The spotted seal (Phoca largha) in the Yellow Sea has declined due to poaching and habitat destruction. To aid conservation efforts, Argos satellite tracking were used to monitor the movements of a free ranging spotted seal around Baengnyeongdo Island. The satellite-transmitting tag successfully attached to the seal provided 1,556 location data collected during 107 days. The seal mostly moved between two haul-out sites, Yeonbong Rock and Mulbeom Rock. From October 6th to December 12th, the seal stayed within a 7 km radius of Yeonbong Rock. However, as the signal was lost, it was not possible to identify when the seal started to migrate from Baengnyeongdo Island to winter breeding area. This study provide understanding into the habitat preferences and movement patterns of spotted seals around Baengnyeongdo Island, contributing to the conservation and management of this species. Further research with more individuals and different age groups is essential to understand their habitat preference and develop effective conservation measures for the spotted seal population in the Yellow Sea.
The purpose of this thesis is to provide basic information of efficient flow line arrangement, which results from examining the factors of route choice with a focus on the store' space elements and pedestrian activity patterns in the outlets. The route tracking is applied to grasp pedestrian activity patterns, therefore, a concrete analysis into influential factors of the space structure arrangement and forms on route choice. The route tracking is a means to understand pedestrian activity patterns by establishing an unrecognizable space and examining every route in the investigating area for pedestrian activity pattern research. Three sample stores have different systems in the ground plan structures, the escalator location and the directions. The analysis focuses on the booth arrangement and shopping patterns. In conclusion, route choice of the customers and the structure of the space are quite closely related and affect the quality of shopping. This can suggest evidence for the need of the space structure to meet the pedestrian activity patterns.
This paper has been studied the impact of the distance between the signal source and the antenna under test on the antenna measurements such as gain and pattern (Phase). The concept and principles of the far-field in the antenna measurement are reviewed at first. The analysis on the impact has been focused on the 11 m parabola antenna system which will be used in the ground telemetry station for tracking and receiving the S-band ($2200\~2400MHz$) signal of KSLV-I. Also, the impact of the distance on the tracking performance of the antenna system has been analyzed.

The conventional tracking testing as IEC-60587 is widely used in surface aging measurement of outdoor insulator because those testing can carry out very short time in Lab-testing. Also IEC-60587 testing is able to offer the standard judgement of relative degradation level of outdoor HV machine/system. Therefore it is very useful method compare to previous conventional tracking testing method and effective Lab-testing method. But surface discharges(SD) have very complex characteristics of discharge pattern so it is required estimation research to development of precise analysis method. In recent, the study of IRR-camera is carrying out discover of temperature of power equipment through condition diagnosis and system development of degradation diagnosis. In this study, SD occurred from procelain insulator, used 22.9[KV] distribution, is measured with partial temperature distribution in real time, the degradation grade of SD is analyzed through produced patterns in SD concentration according to applied time.
This paper describes the algorithm which extracts moving vehicles from sequential images and tracks those vehicles using Kalman filter. This work is composed of a motion segmentation stage which extracts moving objects from sequential images and gets features of objects, and a motion estimation stage which estimates the position and the motion of moving objects using Kalman filter. In the motion estimation stage, applying to affine motion model we divided the Kalman filter into position filter and velocity filter to employ linear Kalman filter. Multi-target tracking requires a data association component that decides which measurement to use for updating the state of which object. We use pattern recognition method to solve this problem.

UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) is an aerial vehicle that can accomplish the mission without pilot. UAV was developed for a military purpose such as a reconnaissance in an early stage. Nowadays usage of UAV expands into a various field of civil industry such as a drawing a map, broadcasting, observation of environment. These UAV, need vision system to offer accurate information to person who manages on ground and to control the UAV itself. Especially LOS(Line-of-Sight) system wants to precisely control direction of system which wants to tracking object using vision sensor like an CCD camera, so it is very important in vision system. In this paper, we propose a method to recognize object from image which is acquired from camera mounted on gimbals and offer information of displacement between center of monitor and center of object.
Since it is hard to use GPS for tracking mobile user in indoor environments, much research has focused on techniques using existing wireless local area network infrastructure. Signal strength received at a fixed location is not constant, so fingerprinting approach which use pattern matching is popular. But this approach has to pay additional costs to determine user location. This paper proposes a new approach to find user's location efficiently using an index scheme. After analyzing characteristics of RF signals, the paper suggests the data processing method how the signal strength values for each of the access points are recorded in a radio map. To reduce computational cost during the location determination phase, multidimensional indexes for radio map with the important information which is the order of the strongest access points are used.
