Direct writing 기법을 이용한 유기태양전지용 격벽 stamper 금형 제작 및 성형에 관한 연구 (Study on the stamper mold manufacture and molding of barrier ribs for polymer solar cells using direct writing method)

  • Polymer solar cells are a type of organic solar cell (also called plastic solar cell), or organic photovoltaic cell that produce electricity from sunlight using polymers. It is a relatively novel technology, they are being researched by universities, national laboratories and several companies around the world. In this paper, stamping mold of barrier ribs for polymer solar cells was manufactured by lithography and electroforming which can control the height of pattern and 80nl of barrier ribs was manufactured by using hot embossing.

  • Micro channel is to fabricate desired pattern on the polymer substrate by pressing the patterned mold against the substrate which is heated above the glass transition temperature, and it is a high throughput fabrication method for bio chip, optical microstructure, etc. due to the simultaneous large area patterning. However, the bad pattern fidelity in large area patterning is one of the obstacles to applying the hot embossing technology for mass production. In the present study, stamper of cross channel with width $100{\mu}m$ and height $50{\mu}m$ was manufactured using UV-LiGA process. Micro channel was manufactured using stamper manufactured in this study. Also replicability appliance was evaluated for micro channel and factors affected replicability were investigated using Taguchi method.

나노패턴을 갖는 DVD용 스템퍼의 표면가열방식이 COC, PMMA 수지를 이용한 사출성형품의 전사성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of the mold surface heating methods for the DVD stamper with nano pattern on the transcription of the injection molded parts using COC and PMMA plastics)

  • 본 연구에서는 분리형 이동코어 방식의 스탬퍼 금형을 개발하였고, 사출성형품 품질에 영향을 주는 인자 중에 이동코어 표면 가열 방식이 미세구조를 갖는 성형품 전사성에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보았다. 이동코어 표면 가열방식은 이동코어를 가열하지 않는 일반사출방식, 할로겐램프를 이용한 복사형 가열방식과 기체화염을 이용해 가열하는 MmSH 방식을 사용했다. COC, PMMA 두 종류의 열가소성 수지를 사용하여 성형품을 제작한 결과, 이동코어 표면온도가 가장 높은 MmSH 방식에서 나노패턴 전사성이 가장 우수했고, 일반사출성형 방식으로 제작한 성형품에서 전사성이 가장 저조했다.

  • PMMA light guiding plate with nano pattern was fabricated by nano imprinting technology. Silicon mold was fabricated by conventional photolithography. A nickel stamper was fabricated by electroplating process using silicon mold. Nano imprinting was performed on PMMA plate at $140^{\circ}C$ under pressure of 20kN. The nano pattern on PMMA plate was investigated using FE-SEM.

  • In this paper, a mold temperature control method for injection molding is proposed. The inner surface of mold is locally heated by jet impingement to improve pattern transcription. Heating by hot jet is completed while the mold is open. An experimental system that realizes the proposed idea has been built, which includes mold, nozzle assembly and heater. Actual injection molding process including the proposed heating procedure has been conducted to verify the validity of the method. The process has been done for several conditions with different jet temperatures and duration of heating. The results from different conditions are compared.

  • 나노 패턴을 갖는 미세 구조물을 낮은 비용으로 생산하기 위해서는 플라스틱 재료를 이용하는 것이 필수적이고, 대량생산이 가능한 가공방법으로 사출성형 공정기술이 유망하다. 본 연구에서는 e-beam 리소그라피로 제작된 석영원판 내의 100-500nm크기의 선과 점 형상을 간단한 thermal embossing 공정을 이용하여 액상 PDMS를 고형화 시킨 후에 원판과 분리시켜 PDMS 몰드를 제작하였다. 실험결과, 원판에 있는 나노 크기의 다양한 패턴들은 PDMS 몰드에 균일하게 전사되었고, 이 몰드는 사출성형용 스탬퍼 제작에 유용하게 이용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

사출성형 특성을 고려한 2인치 도광판의 광효율 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Optical Efficiency for The 2 inch LGP Considering Injection Molding Characteristics)

  • LGP is a key component of LCD back light unit because it determines brightness and sharpness of the display image. Usually, it has optical patterns fabricated on the bottom surface. These optical patterns convert point or line sources placed in the side of LGP to plane source at the top surface by changing the propagating direction of the incident light. In the present paper the LiGA-reflow method was applied to fabricate the LGP mold. Furthermore, the optical simulation considering the replication ratio of pattern height was applied to the pattern design. The optical simulation through systematic correction scheme was adopted to find the optimum distribution of pattern density. Finally, the stamper fabricated by this method was installed in the mold and LGP was produced by injection molding. As a result of luminance measurement for the final product, the average luminance and luminance uniformity was measured 3,180 nit and 84%, respectively. Consequently, the mold fabrication method using the LiGA-reflow and optical simulation(CAE) can save the expense and time compared with the existing fabrication methods(laser ablation and chemical etching).

  • Ni stamper위에 100nm의 Si 코팅후 자기조립 단문자막(SAM)을 액상 코팅방식으로 형성 하였고, 내구성 및 열적 안정성을 검증하기 위해 반복적인 이형 및 압력인가test가 실시하였다. 20 회 이상의 이형실험을 통해 열적, 기계적 안정성을 확인하고, 접촉각 측정을 통해 이형특성의 안정성도 고찰하였다. 이를 Imprint공법을 적용 fine pattern의 구조물을 얻을수 있었다. SAM코팅은 TRICHLOROSILANE을 사용하였으며 Hexane과 1000:1의 비율로 섞어서 stirrer에서 mixing하는 방식을 사용했으며, UV-ozone처리를 통한 이형성 제거 효과도 관찰하였다.
