형상 엔드밀 공구를 이용한 LED금형의 방전전극 가공에 관한 연구 (A Study on Machining Electrode for LED Mold with Shaped End-Mill)

  • A study on machining electrode for LEO(Light Emitted Diode) mold with shaped end-mill is presented. The electrode machining by shaped end-mill has been used for maximizing the productivity in manufacture of semiconductor mold. However, it has not been researched systematically for many difficulties such as the making of shaped end-mill, generation of tool path due to distinctive tool geometry, and so on. Tool path is generated on the shaped end-mill geometry and cutting force to provide accurate and efficient machining of electrode. The verification program can drive enhancement of productivity, selecting cutting conditions from experiment function of cutting force. Also, compensation of tooting and machina error can make the electrode accurate by modifying tool path. Therefore, the research on machining with shaped end-mill can contribute to enhancement of accuracy and productivity in building semiconductor mold.

  • Path planning is an important task for optimal motion of a robot in structured or unstructured environment. The goal of this paper is to plan the shortest collision-free path in 3D, when a robot is navigated to pick up some tools or to repair some parts from various locations. To accomplish the goal of this paper, the Path Coordinator is proposed to have the capabilities of an obstacle avoidance strategy[3] and a traveling salesman problem strategy(TSP)[23]. The obstacle avoidance strategy is to plan the shortest collision-free path between each pair of n locations in 2D or in 3D. The TSP strategy is to compute a minimal system cost of a tour that is defined as a closed path navigating each location exactly once. The TSP strategy can be implemented by the Neural Network. The obstacle avoidance strategy in 2D can be implemented by the VGraph Algorithm. However, the VGraph Algorithm is not useful in 3D, because it can't compute the global optimality in 3D. Thus, the Path Coordinator is proposed to solve this problem, having the capabilities of selecting the optimal edges by the modified Genetic Algorithm[21] and computing the optimal nodes along the optimal edges by the Recursive Compensation Algorithm[5].

비분산 적외선 가스 센서 온도 보상법: 적외선 흡수도 (Temperature Compensation of Nondispersive Infrared Gas Senor: Infrared Light Absorbance)

  • The motivation of this paper is to easily analyze the properties of nondispersive infrared gas sensor that has more than two different optical path length and to suggest the criterion and definition of infrared light absorbance in order to minimize the measurement errors. With the output voltage ratios and the normalized derivatives of infrared ray (IR) absorbance, when the normalized derivatives of IR absorbance decreases from 0.28 to 0.10, the lower and higher limits of errors were decreased from -5.62% and 2.39% to -4.27% and 2.78%. When the normalized derivatives of IR absorbance were 0.10, the output voltage could be partitioned into two regions with one exponential equation and the temperature compensation error was less than 5%.

  • 수중 탐지를 위한 합성개구소나(Synthetic Aperture Sonar, SAS) 신호처리에서는 탑재플랫폼이 직선경로를 따라 주행한다고 가정한다. 그러나 실제로는 플랫폼의 복잡한 운동에 따른 궤적 교란으로 인해 SAS 영상에 번짐과 같은 왜곡이 발생한다. 본 연구에서는 예인형 SAS 개발을 위해 궤적 교란에 의한 SAS 영상 왜곡을 개선하기 위한 방법으로서, Redundant Phase Center (RPC)을 이용한 예인체 운동 추정 및 영상 보정, 그리고 자동 초점 기법인 Phase Gradient Autofocus (PGA) 기법에 대해 검토하였다. 그리고 시뮬레이션을 통해, sway로 인해 왜곡된 SAS 영상에 이 기법들을 적용하고 그 성능 및 유효성에 대해 살펴보았다.

레이저 간섭계의 진직도 측정오차 보상 (Compensation of the Straightness Measurement Error in the Laser Interferometer)

  • The laser interferometer system such as HP5529A is one of the most powerful equipment fur measurement of the straightness error in precision stages. The straightness measurement system, HP5529A is composed of a Wollaston prism and a reflector. In this system, the straightness error is defined as relative lateral motion change between the prism and the reflector and computed from optical path difference of two polarized laser beams between these optics. However, rotating motion of the prism or the reflector used as a moving optic causes unwanted straightness error. In this paper, a compensation method is proposed for removing the unwanted straightness error generated by rotating the moving optic and an experiment is carried out for theoretical verification. The result shows that the unwanted straightness error becomes very large when the reflector is used as the moving optic and the distance between the reflector and the prism is far. Therefore, the prism must be generally used as the moving optic instead of the reflector so as to reduce the measurement error. Nevertheless, the measurement error must be compensated because it's not a negligible error if a rotating angle of the prism is large. In case the reflector must be used as the moving optic, which is unavoidable when the squareness error is measured between two axes, this compensation method can be applied and produces a better result.

Determination of Reactive Power Compensation Considering Large Disturbances for Power Flow Solvability in the Korean Power System

  • This paper proposes a methodology using a tool based on the branch-parameter continuation power flow (BCPF) in order to restore the power flow solvability in unsolvable contingencies. A specified contingency from a set of transmission line contingencies is modeled, considering the transient analysis and practice in the Korean power system. This tool traces a solution path that satisfies the power flow equations with respect to the variation of the branch parameter. At a critical point, in which the branch parameter can move on to a maximum value, a sensitivity analysis with a normal vector is performed to identify the most effective compensation. With the sensitivity information, the location of the reactive power compensation is determined and the effectiveness of the sensitivity information is verified to restore the solvability. In the simulation, the proposed framework is then applied to the Korean power system.

다중경로 환경에서 다중빔 탐색레이더에 적용 가능한 표적 고각오차 혼성 보정 기법 (Hybrid Compensation Technique on Low Elevation Angle Errors for Multibeam Surveillance Radar in Multipath Environment)

  • The multibeam surveillance radar is a state-of-art of 3D radar technology. It applies the stacked beams realized by a digital beamformer. In this paper, a hybrid compensation technique on elevation angle errors for low elevation angle targets over the sea in multipath radar environments is proposed. The proposed method can be applied to stacked beam radars. Double null algorithm based on maximum likelihood method in 3-D beamspace domain works well unless the phase difference between the two rays(direct and specular path) is close to $0^{\circ}$ and the magnitude of reflection coefficient is close to 0. To overcome these problems, we propose a hybrid compensation technique which uses the selective double null algorithm and the beam-ratio compensation technique for low-elevation errors on a log scale. Results of computer simulation show that the proposed method outperform conventional monopulse method and double null algorithm only under various multipath environments.

레이저 미세가공용 자동초점장치를 이용한 오프라인 초점 오차 보상에 관한 연구 (Autofocus system for off-line focusing error compensation in micro laser fabrication process)

  • Micro laser fabrication techniques can potentially be used for the manufacture of microstructures on the thin flat surfaces with large diameter that are frequently used in semiconductor industries. However, the large size of wafers can cause the degraded machining accuracy of the surface because it can be tilted or distorted by geometric errors of machines or the holding fixtures, etc. To overcome these errors the off-line focusing error compensation method is proposed. By using confocal autofocus system, the focusing error profile of machined surface is measured along the pre-determined path and can be compensated at the next machining process by making the corrected motion trajectories. The experimental results for silicon wafers and invar flat surfaces show that the proposed method can compensate the focusing error within the level of below $6.9{\mu}m$ that is the depth of focus required for the laser micromachining process.

  • 본 논푼에서는 주파수 선택적 레일리 페이딩 채널에서 16 QAM-TCM의 BER 성능을 개선하는 방법을 제시한다. 주파수 선택적 페이딩 환경에서는 ISI 등, 페이딩에 의한 성능열화가 극히 심하므로 이에 대한 보상 방안으로 가우시안 보상기법을 이용한 다중 파일롯 심별에 의한 보상 방법을 제안하였다. 또한 대역폭 확장 없이 우수한 부호화 이득을 얻을 수 있는 트렐리스 부호화 방법을 적용하였으며 연집 에러를 방지하고자 비트 리버설 블럭 인터리벙 기법을 개선하여 적용하였다. 컴퓨터 시율레이션 결과 주파수 선택적 레일리 페이 딩 환경에서 기존의 PSAM 방법을 적용한 것보다 우수한 성능 개선 효과를 확인 할 수 있었다
