For a long time, most of advanced countries have supported the innovative firms with various support methods such as tax credit, subsidy, human resource education, and so on. Tax credit for innovation is the most popular industrial policy in these countries including Korea. However, in Korea, the effect of tax credit policy has been rarely analyzed. On the other hand, a considerable number of studies discover that tax credit policy in other countries influences positively on invest of R&D expenditure. This paper shows that tax credit policy positively influences on firm's innovation performances in Korea. The evaluated innovative effect of tax credit policy in this paper is more persuasive because it introduces various innovation performance variables including patent application with Propensity score matching method(PSM).

Objectives : This study was conducted to collect the basic data for the developments of moxibustion related technique and the efficient promotion of moxibustion research. Methods : We have analysed the moxibustion associated patents application informations searching by WIPS company. We searched and analyzed the total of 1.770 data base from the year 1976 to July, 2006. Results : Korea is mostly superior compared to the others in number of domestic patents. Korean applicant was as frequent as 1066 subjects(80%) of nationality. The most common field of patents was 'moxibustion body' 587 subjects(26%), 'heating material' 495 subjects(23%), 'heating control' 96 subjects(4%). 'manufacture method' 78 subjects(3%), 'etc'(3%). The most common applicant of moxibustion patents was Yu Tae Woo(131subjects). Kim Geun Sik(50subjects), Most moxibustion material and device was wormwood, wormwood moxibustion device. Conclusion : Moxibustion technological development is being recognized as a core capability of competitive advantage for sustainable growth of international alternative medicine. We are in need of inspecting the patents. We will have to work up for strengthen the competitiveness of Korea moxibustion patents.

Nowadays, we make an attempt for media conversion from old to new media, carrying out to information society. These changes to new media are considered as new threat to printing media. New means such as CAD(Computer Aided Publishing), on-line novel and webzine can be regarded as new media and we are confronted with need of new changes in the field of printing media because of the trend of the present. It suggests that the origin of commodity competitiveness depends on the ability of cultural Contents using design. Cultural commodity is considered as strategy concepts in the more specific and realistic aspect than in the aspect of industrialization. This study introduce the case of Cellpark Co.,Ltd. which has successfully developed commodity design of World-cup cultural contents as a creating tools of innovative value connecting existed design method based on printing media with new method. This study gave the case which created Blue Ocean market through new expression method of design, products protection of contents design by patent registration, and licensing which many design firms often overlook.

In the web or not, all academic information have the creator which produces that information. The creator can be individual, organization, institution, or country. Most information consist of the title, author and content. The article among academic information is described by title, author, keywords, abstract, publisher, ISSN(International Standard Serial Number) and etc., and the patent information is consisted some metadata such as invention title, applicant, inventors, agents, application number, claim items etc. Most web-based academic information services provide search functions to user by processing and handling these metadata, and the search function using the author field is important. In this paper, we propose an effective indexing management for person name search, and search techniques using boosting factor and near operation based on phrase search to improve precision rate of search result. And we describe person name retrieval result with another expression name, co-authors and persons in same research field. The approach presented in this paper provides accurate data and additional search results to user efficiently.

Recently several hospitals have established a new nursing position so called, 'the nurse in charge of education (NCE).' The job description of NCE is to give a detail explanation on examination or test introduced to patients or a guide for those who are not familiar to hospital facilities at the out-patients level. The motivation of NCE position is the quality improvement in patient education on the sophisticated procedures or the follow up care for medical purposes to improve their compliances, as well in delivering services for outpatients or visitors in more informative and efficient way. The application of NCEA has been turned out positive and effective in patient satisfaction and unit management. However, special attention is brought to the scope and depth of the contents of education delivered by NCE which might overlap with the duty of physicians by the Medical Act. It is needed to clarify the role and job description of NCE in the context of Medical Act. The engagement of NCE to the Advanced Nursing Practitioner (ANP) is one of the possible solutions for a duty charge on patient education since ANP is a legislatively official position with higher license of RN at master level. Further discussion is needed to elaborate and arrange the details on the scope and content of patent education among health science professionals including RN, ANP and physicians.

Objectives: Because of the characteristics of traditional Korean medicine, there are few overseas patents and SCI papers. Researchers are struggling to analyze the research trend using existing patent analysis system and paper analysis system. We aim to build up a web-based paper map analysis system for Traditional Korean Medicine to improve the situation. Methods: We studied the following three sub topics. First, we surveyed the research trend analysis method for traditional Korean medicine. Second, we designed a paper map analysis model and made the algorithm for it. Finally, the development of the paper map analysis system was conducted. Results: We developed a web-based paper map analysis system which has the three main functions being analysis chart, topology map and contour map. For the rich internet application, we used the flex development tool and java integrated development environment. Conclusion: We will provide our paper map analysis system in the OASIS through the minor changes to provide easy use. We hope that this system will be a useful tool to analyze the research trends for traditional Korean medicine.

As the increase of domestic sewage treatment plant and reinforcement of the standard of effluent water quality continues, the volumes of sewage sludge are consistently increasing. Existing treatment of sewage sludge, such as incineration and ocean dumping has been prohibited because of air pollution and prohibitions towards ocean dumping, and in turn, recycling and energy recovery from waste methods have being studied recently. However, the lack of technical level and systematic analyses of application technique are problems, that future analysis of such relative technique would be required. The present study has been investigated as follows, management technique of sludge, patent on refuse-derived fuel and increase biogas production and utilizable technology, trend of research paper. Furthermore, research development from five developed nations (Korea, Japan, China, United States, and United Kingdom), domestic and foreign have been investigated and analyzed by section. In this study, the future technical field which is required for effective management of sludge has been suggested.

Recording of the research procedure and results is the compulsory virtue to scientists. This ensures the objectivity and integrity of research and has become a cornerstone for a junior scholar. Furthermore, we can save time and efforts by avoiding duplication study. Recently on its patent application, the value of laboratory notebook is going to increase. However, there is a limitation to record a voluminous work in a traditional writing laboratory notebook. So, it could be an alternative proposal to convert that into an electronic work or develop an electronic laboratory notebook. Our journal has continuously pursued globalization. Laboratory notebook could be one of the key factors for that goal. In the present study, the authors reviewed the needs for laboratory notebook and tried developing a proto-type electronic laboratory notebook.

Application of newly conceptualized Anti-Splash Devices designed for COT vent pipes were studied on a P/V valve located on the upper deck of an oil carrier vessel. Anti-Splash devices are used in the shipbuilding industry in order to avoid oil overflow and spray accidents caused by excess pressure and vacuum condition in the cargo oil tanks. These conditions are caused by the transverse and longitudinal sloshing forces that arise from ship motion during sea voyages. The main issue with existing Anti-Splash device model is flux at the outlet of the Anti-Splash Device, and so, new conceptual models for the Anti-Splash device were developed and compared to existing Anti-Splash device model using CFD analysis. Transient analysis was used to capture the flow and velocity of each model and a comparative analysis was performed between old and new-concept models. This data was used to determine the optimal design parameters in order to develop an optimized Anti-Splash Device. A Factory acceptance test was performed on the new-concept models in order to verify the performance and efficiency against their design requirements and other criterion. The final step performed was to apply the optimized Anti-Splash Device models for COT vent pipes to an actual vessel and verify performance through a seawater cargo operation during a sea voyage as per the ship owner's request. The patent for the aforementioned device was obtained by the Korean Intellectual property Office dated Dec. 18th,2014.

With the decline in the college student population and the increase in the youth unemployment rate, the university began to be interested in starting a business. Under the initiative of the government, the start-up support project was reflected in the university's educational programs, which led to the university students receiving various start-up support benefits. In response to the expansion of entrepreneurship education, various entrepreneurship education programs and support programs were applied in line with the government's efforts to start college students. As a result, students' entrepreneurial competence and willingness to start up increased. College student entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs are increasing. The increase of university student start-up companies is taking place in the entrepreneurial education environment within the university, and the support of university, community, and start-up support institutions for university student start-up, the starting point of the start-up ecosystem, is paying off. It can be seen that the youth entrepreneurship ecosystem based on university entrepreneurship education is in place. The university supports the entire business process from idea development, such as start-up classes, start-up club support, patent application support, prototype development support, and investment linkage. However, there is a university that develops and operates a unique program for each school and a university that does not. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an education program that can produce efficient results. The purpose of this study is to support the start-up program of the university to be the consumer-centered start-up support.
