4-Amino-3-hydrazino-5-mercapto-1, 2, 4-triazole을 이용한 실내 포름알데히드 측정용 passive sampler 개발 (Development of a Passive Sampler using 4-amino-3-hydrazino-5-mercapto-1, 2, 4-triazole for Measuring Indoor Formaldehyde)

  • Passive sampler using 4-amino-3-hydrazino-5-mercapto-1, 2, 4-triazole (AHMT) was developed to determine formaldehyde in indoor environment. The chromatography paper cleaned by $3\%$ hydrogen peroxide solution was experimently determined as a optimum absorbtion filter for the collection of formaldehyde. The passive sampler with a broad cross-sectional area and a short diffusion length was quite good in sensitivity. The passive sampler and the active sampling method with an impinger were strongly correlated with a correlation coefficient of 0.9848. The limits of detection and quantification of the passive sampler for the measurement of formaldehyde in the indoor environment were 7.5 and 10.2 ppb, respectively. Temperature ($19\∼28^{circ}C$) and relative humidity ($30\∼90\%$) had slight influence on the sampling rate of the passive sampler. However, the increase of flow velocity on the surface of sampler resulted in the increase of sampling rate.

  • Use of a passive bistatic radar (PBR) system in the surveillance or monitoring of an area has its advantages. For example, a PBR system is able to utilize any available signal of opportunity (for example, broadcasting, communication, or radio navigation signals) for the purposes of surveillance. With this in mind, there are potentially many research areas to be explored; in particular, the capability of signals from existing and future communication systems, such as 4G and 5G. Long-Term Evolution (LTE) is the world's most current communication system. Given this fact, this paper presents the latest feasibility studies and experimental results from using LTE signals in PBR applications. Details are provided about aspects such as signal characteristics, experimental configurations, and SNR studies. Six experimental scenarios are carried out to investigate the detection performance of our proposed system on ground-moving targets. The ability to detect is demonstrated through use of the cross-ambiguity function. The detection results suggest that LTE signals are suitable as a source signal for PBR.

은닉 물체 검출을 위한 실시간 수동형 밀리미터파 영상 분할 (Real-time passive millimeter wave image segmentation for concealed object detection)

  • 밀리미터파 영상시스템은 의복을 투과하는 성질이 뛰어나서 의복 속에 숨겨둔 은닉 물체를 탐지하는 분야에 활용된다. 더불어 수동형 밀리미터파 영상 시스템은 능동형 시스템과 달리 실내외의 개방된 공간에서 움직이는 대상자들의 탐지가 가능하다. 그러나 수동형 밀리미터파 영상은 일반적으로 회절의 제한과 낮은 신호 레벨로 해상도가 낮으며 잡음의 영향이 크다. 그러므로 영상을 효과적으로 처리하기 위한 신호의 모델링과 통계적 분석이 요구된다. 본 논문에서 은닉 물체 검출을 수행하는 밀리미터파 영상 분할 알고리즘을 C++로 구현하여 실시간으로 처리한다. 영상의 분석을 위하여 밀리미터파 영상의 히스토그램을 혼합 가우시안 모델로 추정하고 은닉 물체를 다단계 영상 분할 방법으로 추출한다. 다단계 분할은 배경에서 몸체를 분리하는 전역분할과 은닉물체를 몸체에서 분리하는 국소분할로 이루어진다. 각 분할단계는 $k$-means, EM 추정, 판정단계로 구성되어 있다. 실험에서 실외에서 획득한 수동형 밀리미터파 영상을 분석하여 은닉 물체를 실시간으로 검출할 수 있음을 확인한다.

수동형 FTIR 원격화학 탐지기를 이용한 SF6 오염운의 실시간 탐지 (Passive Remote Chemical Detection of SF6 Clouds in the Atmosphere by FTIR)

  • Brightness temperature spectra acquired from FTIR(Fourier Transform Infrared)-SCADS (Standoff Chemical Agent Detection System) could be available for detection and identification of the chemical agents and pollutants from different background. IR spectrum range of 770 to 1350 $cm^{-1}$ is corresponding to "atmospheric window". A 2-dimensional(2D) brightness temperature spectrum was drawn from combining each data point through automatic continuous scanning of FTIR along with altitude and azimuth. At higher altitude, temperature of background was decreased but scattering effect of atmospheric gases was increased. Increase in temperature difference between background and blackbody in SCADS at higher temperature causes to increases in peak intensity of $SF_6$. This approach shows us a possibility that 2D visual information is acquired from scanning data with a single FTIR-SCADS.

DPSO 알고리즘을 적용한 수동탐지소나 배치 연구 (A Study on an Arrangement of Passive Sonars by using DPSO Algorithm)

  • 은밀하게 침투하여 아군의 핵심자산으로 접근하는 표적 잠수함을 상시 감시하기 위하여 수중 해저면 위치에 최적의 고정형 수동탐지소나를 배치하는 것을 고려 할 수 있다. 수동탐지소나 배치 최적화를 위한 효과도 지수는 넓은 탐지영역과 위치추정가능성의 함수로 적용할 수 있는데 계절적인 요인, 해상상태, 표적 잠수함의 침투심도 등의 다양한 확률적 변이를 포함하고 있어서 효과도지수가 배치의 입력에 대하여 확률적으로 나타나는 특성을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 파라메타의 입력조건에 대하여 확률적인 출력을 갖는 수동탐지소나의 배치에 대한 최적화 문제를 정의하였으며, DPSO(Discrete binary version of PSO) 방법을 사용하여 최적 배치 안을 도출하기 위한 모의기반의 절차를 제시하고 고찰하였다.

Passive Ranging Based on Planar Homography in a Monocular Vision System

  • Passive ranging is a critical part of machine vision measurement. Most of passive ranging methods based on machine vision use binocular technology which need strict hardware conditions and lack of universality. To measure the distance of an object placed on horizontal plane, we present a passive ranging method based on monocular vision system by smartphone. Experimental results show that given the same abscissas, the ordinatesis of the image points linearly related to their actual imaging angles. According to this principle, we first establish a depth extraction model by assuming a linear function and substituting the actual imaging angles and ordinates of the special conjugate points into the linear function. The vertical distance of the target object to the optical axis is then calculated according to imaging principle of camera, and the passive ranging can be derived by depth and vertical distance to the optical axis of target object. Experimental results show that ranging by this method has a higher accuracy compare with others based on binocular vision system. The mean relative error of the depth measurement is 0.937% when the distance is within 3 m. When it is 3-10 m, the mean relative error is 1.71%. Compared with other methods based on monocular vision system, the method does not need to calibrate before ranging and avoids the error caused by data fitting.

수동형 전자발신장치(Passive Integrated Transponder, PIT) 모니터링 기법 적용에 따른 어종별 생존율 평가 및 어도에서 어류이동성 평가 (The Evaluations of Fish Survival Rate and Fish Movements using the Tagging Monitoring Approach of Passive Integrated Transponders (PIT))

  • The objective of this study was to evaluate survival rate and fish movement (migration) using a tagging approach of passive integrated transponder (PIT) in Juksan Weir, which was constructed as a four major river restoration projects. For this study, survival rates of each fish species and the mobility of fish individuals were analyzed during 2 weeks by the insertion of PIT tags to various fish species in the laboratory. According to tagging tests in the laboratory, the survival rate 37.5% (30 survivals of 80 individuals) after the insertion of PIT tags. The survival rate of Carassius auratus and Hemibarbus labeo was 100% and 80% after the insertion of the tags, respectively, whereas it was only 13.3% for Zacco platypus. In the field experiments of Juksan Weir, 6 species and 157 individuals from 8 species (563 individuals) were detected in the fixed automatic data-logging system, indicating a detection rate of 27.9% in the fishway of Juksan Weir. In the meantime, some species with no or low detection rates in the fixed automatic data-logging system were turn out to be stagnant-type species, which prefer stagnant or standing water to live.

수동 소나 시스템을 위한 실효치교차율 분석 기반 음향센서 결함 탐지 기법 (An acoustic sensor fault detection method based on root-mean-square crossing-rate analysis for passive sonar systems)

  • 본 논문에서는 수동 소나 시스템을 위한 수중 음향 센서 결함 탐지 기법을 제안하였다. 일반적으로 수동 소나 시스템에서는 수십개의 음향 센서를 통해 얻은 음향 신호를 이용하여 배열 신호처리 기법을 이용해 처리된 신호를 협대역 또는 광대역 분석을 위한 2차원 영상 형태로 전시한다. 운용 소프트웨어에서 전시되는 탐지 결과는 배열 신호처리를 통해 누적된 결과값을 전시하기 때문에, 단일 센서 채널의 결함 또는 고장에 따른 신호의 이상 여부를 판단하는데 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 인접 채널간 실효치 비교 및 실효치교차율(Root Mean Square Crossing-Rate, RMSCR) 분석기반 센서 자동 결함 탐지 기법을 제안하고, 결함 센서 채널에 대한 처리 기법을 비교 분석하였다. 제안된 기법의 성능 분석을 위하여 일부 연안 지역에서 실제 운용 중인 센서 배열을 통해 획득된 신호를 이용하여 결함 탐지 정확도를 측정하고, 결함 처리 기법의 성능을 비교하였다. 실험을 통해 제안된 기법이 높은 RMS의 주변소음 환경에서도 높은 결함 탐지 정확도를 보였으며, 결함 처리 기법으로는 0으로 설정 처리 기법이 가장 높은 성능을 보였다.

  • Traffic monitoring plays an important role in intelligent transportation systems. It can be used to collect real-time traffic data concerning traffic flow. Passive shadows resulted from roadside buildings or trees and active shadows caused by moving vehicles, are one of the factors that arise errors in vision based vehicle detection. In this paper, a land mark based method is proposed for vehicle detection and shadow rejection, and finally vehicle count are achieved based on the land mark detection method.

  • The general ways of the anti-islanding can be classified into the active method and passive method. The passive method which use only the voltage information when power failure occurs has much possibility of the wrong detection. And the active method detects the change of the voltage frequency as instantaneously changing the frequency of the inverter output current. Therefore, in this paper, the method to inject arbitrary order harmonics into controlled current is proposed. In this method islanding can be detected by measuring the amount of load voltage of injected harmonics order. And as a current control method predictive control method is used, which make actual current accurately to track reference current by Instantaneously computing converter output voltage and has fast response in transient state. This parer proposed method was verified by simulation.
