AIS 데이터 전처리 프로그램의 개발 및 Vung Tau 해역에의 적용 - IWRAP Mk2 프로그램을 기초로 - (Developing a Program to Pre-process AIS Data and applying to Vung Tau Waterway in Vietnam - Based on the IWRAP Mk2 program -)

  • IWRAP 프로그램은 수로에서의 위험성을 평가하는데 유용한 프로그램이다. 그러나 이 프로그램의 기본 버전의 경우 AIS 데이터를 수집하는 기능이 포함되지 않아서, 더구나 베트남과 같은 개발도상국에서는 해상교통량 통계 데이터가 없는 실정이다. 사용자들은 수동으로 준비하여 입력하여야 한다. 이 연구는 IWRAP Mk2 프로그램 기본 버전을 사용하는데 있어 AIS 데이터를 전처리(pre-process) 할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하고자 하였으며, 선박 형태, 선박 크기, 통과 시간 등으로 분류한 통항로에서의 선박 통항 척수 및 항로 배치와 같이 해역 내 해상교통에 관한 정보들을 사용자에게 제공하도록 고안되었다. 이렇게 개발된 통합 AIS 프로그램(Total AIS, TOAIS)은 베트남 Vung Tau 해역의 AIS 수집 데이터를 전처리할 수 있는지에 대하여 검증하였다. 그 결과, 통합 AIS 프로그램에서 전처리한 데이터를 이용한 IWRAP 프로그램은 베트남 해역의 위험성을 효율적으로 평가할 수 있었다.

Distribution of Fecal Sterols, Nonylphenol, and Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Surface Water from Masan Bay, Korea

  • Fecal sterols, nonylphenolic compounds (NPs), and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) were determined in surface water from Masan Bay and its adjacent rivers in February 2005. Concentrations of coporstanol (Cop), an indicator of fecal pollution, in surface water ranged from <10 to 13,853 ng/L, and concentrations of nonylphenol, the most toxic of the NPs, ranged from 10.2 to 481 ng/L, and concentrations of PAHs ranged from 8.61 to 223 ng/L. The concentrations of the compounds measured in this study were lower than or comparable to those at other locations in Korea and other countries. The contamination of Cop and PAHs in surface water was associated with the discharge from rivers passing through cities and/or industrial complexes. The NP contamination was associated with wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) effluents through outfalls as well as riverine discharge. Compared to ecotoxicological values, the concentrations of NPs from rivers, the mouths of rivers, and WWTP outfall areas exceeded guidelines, suggesting that hot spot areas may pose a potential risk to sensitive species.

산불 발화에 따른 하층 대기 순환장 변화에 관한 수치 실험 (Numerical Experiment on the Variation of Atmospheric Circulation due to Wild Fire)

  • In order to clarify the impact of wildfire and its thermal forcing on atmospheric wind and temperature patterns, several numerical experiments were carried out using three dimensional atmospheric dynamic model WRF with wildfire parametrization module SFIRE. Since wind can accelerate fire spread speed, the moving speed of fireline is faster than its initial values, and the fireline tends to move the northeast, because of the wind direction and absolute vorticity conservation law associated with driving force induced by terrain. In comparison with non-fire case, the hydraulic jump that often occurs over downwind side of mountain became weak due to huge heat flux originated by surface wildfire and wind pattern over downwind side of mountain tends to vary asymmetrically with time passing. Therefore temporal variation of wind pattern should be catched to prevent the risk of widfire.

국내 간호사의 유전성 대장암 지식정도 (Korean Nurses' Knowledge about Hereditary Colorectal Cancer)

  • Purpose: This study was performed to evaluate Korean nurses' knowledge about hereditary colorectal cancer (HCRC). Methods: A modified 15-item HCRC knowledge questionnaire was developed based on previous research. One hundred and forty-eight nurses have completed the questionnaire from February to April, 2011. Results: The average score of nurses' knowledge was $11.25{\pm}1.54$. Ninety-seven percent of nurses knew about colonoscopy check up schedule and family pedigree. However, only 20% of nurses knew about the rate of passing on mutation genes to offspring and risk of developing CRC among carriers. Only 13.5% of nurses had previous genetic education experiences. Working in oncology units, taking care of CRC patients, and participating in genetic education were not associated with nurses' HCRC knowledge. Conclusion: Various factors influence nurses' knowledge about HCRC. Repeated study with larger national sample of nurses is recommended to identify the factors affecting nurses' knowledge level in order to develop efficient genetic education programs for HCRC patients and their families by nurses.

  • 무인 항공기는 공중을 비행한다는 특성에 따라 추락할 경우 항공기뿐만 아니라 인명 및 재산피해를 동반할 가능성이 발생한다는 점에서 어떠한 환경에서도 정확한 제어가 가능한 하드웨어의 높은 신뢰성이 요구된다. 현재 무인 항공기 제어의 핵심은 비행 간 여러 외부 환경 변화 속에서도 기체의 중심을 잡아 불안정한 비행 및 추락을 방지하는 것이다. 본 연구는 무인항공기의 안정적인 비행을 돕는 하나의 관성 측정 장치를 이용한 기체의 중심을 잡는 기존 방식을 보완하여, 한 방향으로 장착되는 관성 측정장치를 역방향으로 장착하여, 두 개의 관성 측정 장치의 무인 항공기 기체가 가지는 가속도 3축, 자이로 3축에 대한 총 여섯 가지 센서 값을 이중으로 처리하는 시스템을 설계하여 무인 항공기의 주추락 원인 중 하나인 관성 측정 장치의 고장이나 전달되는 값의 오류로 인한 추락을 미연에 방지한다.

1990년(年) 인코텀즈에 따른 CIF조건(條件)의 활용상(活用上)의 문제점(問題點) (A study on the problems in appling CIF, Incoterms 1990 into the contract of sale.)

  • This study is focused on the problems and the suggestions of proper ideas for solving them which are arisen from appling CIF, Incoterms 1990 into the contract of sale after reviewing of the contents of traditional CIF contract and the main changes of CIF, Incoterms 1990. This study summerized as follows: First, when the seller provide the buyer with non-negotiable sea waybill or inland waterway document instead of negotiable bill of lading, it is my feeling that the essence of symbolic delivery in traditional CIF contract is fading. And if the buyer has paid for the goods in advance, or a bank wishes to use the goods as security for a loan extended to the buyer, it is not sufficient that the buyer or the bank be named as consignee in a non-negotiable document. This is true because the seller by new instractions to the carrier could replace the named consignee with someone else. To protect the buyer or the bank it is therefore necessary that the original instructions from the seller to the carrier to deliver the goods to the named consignee be irrevocable. Second, CIF term can only be used for sea and inland waterway transport. When the ship's rail serves no practical purposes such as in the case of roll-on/roll-off or container traffic, CIP term instead of CIF term is more appropriate to use. Third, the EDI method still contains many legal and technical problems to be solved in order to be used thoroughly' in the international sale of goods. Therefore, the parties wishing to replace the traditional paper-based trade documents by electronic messages must exchange the agreement on EDI each other in order to prevent and sol ye unexpected problems. Forth, it may be that the goods are to be carried in bulk without such marking or naming of consignee as would amount to appropriation. Then the risk will not pass until effective appropriation has been made. Therefore, the seller needs to appropriate by issuing of separate bills of lading or delivery orders for parts of the bulk cargo. And in case the goods are bought while they are carried at sea, some problems on the passing of risk would arise. One possibility is that the buyer might have to assume risks which have already occured at the time when the contract of sale is entered into force. The other possibility would be to let the pissing of the risk concide with the time when the contract of sale is concluded. The parties are advised to ascertain the applicable law and any solution which might follow there form. Finally, Incoterms are restricted to deal with the main principles for the division of functions, costs and risks between the parties and the rest is left to their individual contract as supplemented by the custom of the trade, the individual terms of the contract of sale and the applicable law. Thus, the parties are advised to ascertain the applicable law on their individual contract of sale in order to solve the problems on the transfer of property, the remedy and so on.

2019년 한국의 고위험 해충 9종에 대한 예찰조사 보고 (Monitoring Reports about Nine High Risk Insect Pests of South Korea in 2019)

  • 2019년 4월부터 10월까지 침입우려 고위험 해충 9종(Aceria diospyri, Bactrocera dorsalis, Bactrocera minax, Bactrocera tsuneonis, Cydia pomonella, Lobesia botrana, Proeulia sp., Solenopsis invicta, Stephanitis takeyai)에 대한 예찰조사를 7개 권역에서 실시하였다. 총 7권역, 87지역, 288지점에서 총 12,285개의 트랩운용/달관조사를 완료하였으며, A. diospyri, B. dorsalis, B. minax, B. tsuneonis, C. pomonella, L. botrana, Proeulia sp., S. invicta, S. takeyai는 발견되지 않았다. 본 조사 연구는 2018년부터 지속적으로 실시하고 있으며, 고위험 해충의 전국단위의 감시체계를 구축 및 예찰조사 거점 지역을 확보하였다.

해상교통량 조사 기반 시운전금지해역 설정 기초 연구 (A Basic Study on Establishment of Sea Trial Prohibition Waterway Based on Marine Traffic Survey)

  • 우리나라는 세계 조선 강국으로 많은 선박이 우리나라 조선소에서 건조되고 있다. 건조된 선박은 선주에게 인도되기 전 한국연안에서 해상 시운전을 실시한다. 해상 시운전의 특성상 통항량이 많은 해역에서 주변을 항행중인 선박에 위험한 상황이 자주 발생한다. 이러한 위험으로 인하여 최근 5년간 해상시운전 중에 발생한 충돌사고가 매년 1건 이상으로 조사되었다. 이 연구에서는 해상시운전이 타 선박 통항에 약 30%의 위험성을 증가시키는 것으로 해상교통류 시뮬레이션을 통하여 식별하였다. 그리고, 우리나라 연안을 대상으로 7일 동안 AIS 자료 수집을 통하여 해상교통량 밀집도를 분석하고, 최근 5년간 해양사고 위치 분석을 통하여 선박운항자의 위험부담이 거의 없는 전체 교통량 10/100 수준에서 시운전선박의 시운전금지해역을 각 지역별로 설정하였다. 또한 시운전금지해역 설정을 위한 기초 법령안을 검토하였다. 시운전금지해역 설정을 통하여 연안해역을 통항하는 선박의 안전성 향상을 도모하여 해양오염 예방에 이바지하고자 한다.

전, 후방 기울기각을 이용한 노인의 보행안정성 평가 (Evaluation of the Elderly Gait Stability Using the Center of Mass and Center of Pressure Inclination Angles)

  • The gait instability in the elderly has been associated with age-related deterioration in physical strength and reducing the potential for elderly falls requires regular exercise. In 2005, National Center for Injury Prevention and Control(NCIPC) reported that most elderly falls occur during activities in daily living(ADL). To better reveal biomechanic mechanisms underlying age-related degeneration in gait stability, and to enhance the assessment of falls risk, an accurate quantification of a person's balance maintenance during locomotion is needed. Instantaneous orientation of the line connecting COP and COM can characterize whole body position with respect to the supporting foot during gait and the angle between this line and the vertical line passing through the COP known as a good assessment to detect the elderly gait instability. Therefore the purpose of this study was to investigate a 6-month walking exercise effects in reducing elderly fall risk factors by using COP-COM inclination angles. Twenty-two community-dwelling elderly participated this study. The participants performed a walking exercise(3 times/week, 1 hour/visit) for 6 months. Laboratory kinematics during walking was assessed at months 0, 3 and 6. Significant increased in gait velocity was found among periods(p=.011, $1.25{\pm}.03$, $1.32{\pm}.03$, and $1.39{\pm}.04\;m/s$ in 0-, 3-, and 6-month, respectively). Also, significant differences in anterior and posteriror inclination angles were found among the periods(p<.05; posterior inclination angles: $12.8{\pm}2.2$, $11.0{\pm}2.9$, & $10.9{\pm}1.9$; anterior inclination angles: $13.7{\pm}1.7$, $14.6{\pm}3.2$, & $1.46{\pm}.21$ in 0month, 3month, & 6month, respectively). These findings provide evidence of significant reduced fall risk factors of community-living older adults associated with a systematic walking program.

항해위험평가모델에 의한 연안역 항해의 안전 제고에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Coastal Navigation Safety by Navigational Risk Assessment Model)

  • The major cause of the marine accidents is the collision with a moving object such as ship as well as the fixed object such as breakwater. Therefore, the most effective way to reduce the maritime ship accidents is the prevention of collision. In order to decrease the collision, it is principle that the navigation officer promptly judges the dangerous condition and makes the quick response. The ship does not allow any object or other ships approaching its surrounded area called ship area so that it prevents the collision. Generally, the ship which has high speed or poor maneuvering capability shall be managed from the distance so that the other ship does not invade its ship domains(watching distance, blocking distance). Accordingly, this study sets the navigational risk assessment model by applying ship dynamic domain and collision judgement method considered ship length, speed and navigational capability. It also reviewed the validity of the model and evaluated the perilous water way (Maenggol Channel) and a curved route near Maenggol Channel. As a result, in case of a ship with 100m in length passing Maenggol Channel, it represented "warning" level before 1.5nm to the entry, "dangerous"level 0.75nm before to it and "very dangerous" level 0.5nm before to it and then "dangerous"level again up to the entry. Applying to the curved route also showed the same results as the Narrow Channel or Maenggol Channel. This analysis highly matched with the actual navigation results. In the future, this model will be useful for coastal navigation safety chart development and safety evaluation for route or port development. It also allows to evaluate the dangerous route or the best route by applying the result into ECDIS so that it will finally help to reduce the marine accidents. Eventually the model will be effective for the marine traffic simulation evaluation forced by Maritime Traffic Safety Act.
