90° 곡관에서의 경계층 판을 이용한 열유동 환경 개선 (Improvement of the Aerothermal Environment for a 90° Turning Duct by an Endwall Boundary Layer Fence)

  • 본 논문에서는 가스터빈 유로의 열유동 환경을 개선하기 위해 끝벽면 경계층 판을 이용한 방법을 적용하였으며, 이 방법에 의한 효과를 최대화하기 위해 경계층 판의 형상에 대한 최적화를 수행하였다. 터빈 유로를 모사하기 위해 $90^{\circ}$ 곡관을 이용하였다. 터빈 유로에서의 전압력 손실과 유로 끝벽면에서의 열전달 계수, 그리고 끝벽면 면적을 최소화하는 �微蛙� 판 형상 도출을 연구의 목적으로 하였으며, 최적화 과정의 효율성을 위해 근사 최적화 기법을 적용하였다. 연구결과를 통해, 최적화된 경계층 판에 의한 상당한 공력환경 개선을 확인할 수 있었으며, 열환경 개선 정도는 공력환경 개선정도에 비해 작게 나타났다.

공동주택의 지하주차장 연결통로 및 엘리베이터 홀의 환기에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Ventilation of Connection Passage and Elevator Hall of Underground Parking in the Apartment Houses)

  • 본 논문에서는 지하주차장 연결통로 및 엘리베이터 홀의 기계식 환기장치의 설치 및 적용을 위한 기초자료를 얻기 위하여 공동주택 지하주차장에 환기장치를 설치하여 실험을 수행하였다. 엘리베이터 홀의 경우 침기 및 누기(자연환기)로 인하여 실제 환기회수는 계산환기회수의 5배 정도 크게 나타났다. 지하 주차장 연결통로 및 엘리베이터홀의 환기장치는 동시 급 배기로 설치하는 것이 좋으며, 설치가 어려울 때에는 차선책으로 급기만이라도 설치하는 것이 공기질 측면에서 좋을 것이라 판단된다. 겨울철 환기장치 가동에 따른 콜드 드래프트의 영향을 고려하여 환기장치의 급기부에 예열기를 설치하는데, 환기시스템의 가동유무 및 가동방법을 다르게 하여도 지하주차장 연결통로 및 엘리베이터 홀의 온도가 $7{\sim}8^{\circ}C$로 일정하게 유지되어 나타나므로 한국의 남부지역에서는 단순 급 배기 환기장치에 예열기를 설치하지 않아도 될 것으로 판단된다.

딥러닝을 이용한 함정 대피 경로 탐색 (Naval Ship Evacuation Path Search Using Deep Learning)

  • Naval ship could face a variety of threats in isolated seas. In particular, fires and flooding are defined as disasters that are very likely to cause irreparable damage to ships. These disasters have a very high risk of personal injury as well. Therefore, when a disaster occurs, it must be quickly suppressed, but if there are people in the disaster area, the protection of life must be given priority. In order to quickly evacuate the ship crew in case of a disaster, we would like to propose a plan to quickly explore the evacuation route even in urgent situations. Using commercial escape simulation software, we obtain the data for deep neural network learning with simulations according to aisle characteristics and the properties and number of evacuation person. Using the obtained data, the passage prediction model is trained with a deep learning, and the passage time is predicted through the learned model. Construct a numerical map of a naval ship and construct a distance matrix of the vessel using predicted passage time data. The distance matrix configured in one of the path search algorithms, the Dijkstra algorithm, is applied to explore the evacuation path of naval ship.

대면적 Multi busbar 모듈 전력 손실 저감을 위한 태양전지 설계 (Solar Cell Design for Large Area Multi Busbar Module Power Loss Reduction)

  • Solar energy had become the main energy industry of renewable energy along with hydroelectric power generation. One of the technologies that contributed to the popularization of photovoltaic power and the decrease in the unit price of photovoltaic modules was the large-area solar cell. However, as the area increased, the light receiving area increased and the current value increased accordingly. Since power loss occurs when the current value was large, the number of busbar was increased to increase the current collection rate, and a technology to lower the current value through half-cutting was developed. The bus bar of the solar cell served as a passage through which the generated current was transmitted. This was because when the number of busbar decreases, the moving distance of electrons increased, so the amount of power generation decreases and when it increases, shadows occured. An important aspect of the electrode design was the optimal balance of these busbars and number of fingers. Therefore, in this study, the characteristics of the solar cell according to the number of front bus bars of the large-area solar cell were simulated using Griddler 2,5 pro. After selecting the number of busbar with the best characteristics, the difference was compared by varying the number of fingers and a better direction for the number of cutting was presented.

충동형 초음속 터빈 익렬의 설계 변수에 따른 익렬내 유동 특성에 관한 수치적 연구 (Numerical Analysis of Flow Characteristics within Blades for Design Parameters of Impulse Supersonic Turbine Blade)

  • 본 연구에서는 우선 전산 결과의 신뢰성을 검증하기 위하여 동일 조건의 실험결과와 비교하였다. 그 결과를 살펴보면 전산결과와 실험결과가 대체적으로 잘 일치하였다. 다음으로 압력면 및 흡입면의 원호반경, 피치 코드비등의 설계인자에 따른 유동해석을 실시하였다. 익렬내의 유동 및 성능 특성은 익렬 앞전 및 노즐 끝단에서 발생하는 충격파와 익렬 내부에서 발생하는 박리에 의해 주로 좌우되었다. 그리고 노즐 끝단에서 발생하는 충격파와 박리는 익렬 내부 유로 면적에 의해서 좌우되었으며, 익렬 앞전에서 발생하는 충격파는 노즐이 차지하고 있는 익렬 개수에 의해 영향을 받았다.

  • Aerodynamic optimization of an automotive air-conditioning blower is a hard task because of the highly complex flow phenomena related to three-dimensional flow separations and the unsteady nature caused by the interaction between primary and secondary air flows throughout the fan. In this paper, an aerodynamic study on a forward-curved centrifugal fan has been carried out Firstly we obtained the fan performance curves versus flow rates showing its unstable nature in the surging operation range. Secondly aerodynamic characterizations were carried out by investigating the velocity and pressure fields in the casing flow passage using a 5-hole pilot probe, at different operating conditions. Surface flow pattern near the cut-off area exhibits similar flow behavior above the best efficiency operating point, although the pressure level increases substantially with the Increase of flow rate. Vorticity in the casing passage flow occurs in all (low rates, downstream from the r-Z plane $\theta$=120 deg., where the position of its core changes with the circumferential location. Although complex, the general flow behavior were common, giving insight in its main aerodynamic features.

Improving Flow Distribution in a Suction Channel for a Highly Efficient Centrifugal Compressor

  • Design parameters for suction channels of process centrifugal compressors were investigated, and an optimization method to enhance stage efficiency by using the new design parameters was proposed. From results of computational fluid dynamics, the passage sectional area ratios $A_c/A_e$, $A_e/A_s$ and $A_c/A_s$ were found to be the dominant parameters for the pressure loss and circumferential flow distortion, where $A_c$, $A_e$ and $A_s$ are passage sectional areas for the casing upstream side, casing entrance and impeller eye, respectively. The Base suction channel was optimized using the new design parameters, and the Base and Optimized types were tested. Test results showed that the Optimized suction channel achieved 3.8% higher stage efficiency than the Base suction channel while maintaining the same operating range.

도시개발에 따른 국지 바람장 분석 (An Analysis of Local Wind Field based on Urban Development)

  • A numerical study with Envi-met model is experimented to investigate the characteristics of wind pattern in Gangwon innovation city. In all case, most conditions such as wind speed, temperature, and surface are considered as the same, but wind direction is the only different factor. The wind directions considered in this study have a meaning of prevailing wind direction. When the prevailing wind with the direction of $247^{\circ}$ blows into the city, the ventilation passage toward the outside of city is formed and the stagnation of air is not expressed. In case of having the direction of $270^{\circ}$, most evident ventilation passages are composed. When the inflow wind direction is the north, $0^{\circ}$, there is some possibility of stagnation phenomenon. The case where the representative wind direction of three kind will flow with development, in compliance with the building is caused by with screening effect of some and shows a true stagnation phenomenon, wishes in the park and flowing water and the greens area to be for a long time formed and the wind direction is maintained.

  • The Qualitative improvements of outdoor spaces are unsatisfactory in comparison with that of indoor environment in existing apartments. Lately construction companies are differentiating the outdoor spaces of apartment complexes to meet needs of residents. However, high-rise buildings inherently have limitations on providing exposure to the outdoor settings and inappropriate lightings could have serious impacts on physical and psychological health of residents. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to provide useful information for the luminous environment of outdoor spaces through the analysis of current apartment complexes' lighting plans. Outdoor space of branded apartment complexes in Seoul, built after the year 2003, were researched. Through site visits, illumination level and lighting plans were investigated classified into entry area, passage area, plaza, rest area, exercise area, and play area. With the result, illumination level of apartment complexes researched was lower than KS illumination standard in all areas and the lighting plans were mostly shown in different condition of first intended lighting plan because of insufficiency of maintenance in lighting system. Therefore, it is need to provide better luminous environment to make outdoor space more lively and energetic at the night time.

EMS data 분석 및 최적화 기법을 적용한 제어지역별 목표운전전압 제안 (Target Operation Voltage Guidelines Considering Voltage Level in Each Voltage Control area by Applying Optimization Technique Through EMS Data Observation)

  • This paper presents target operation voltage guidelines of each voltage control area considering both voltage stability and economical efficiency in real power system. EMS(Energy Management System) data, Real-time simulator, shows not only voltage level but lots of information about real power system. Also this paper performs optimal power flow calculation of three objective functions to propose the best target operation voltage. objective function of interchange power flow maximum and active power loss minimization stand for economical efficiency index and reactive power reserve maximum objective unction represents stability index. Then through simulation result using optimazation technique, the most effective objective function is chosen. To sum up, this paper divides voltage control area into twelve considering electric distance characteristics and estimate or voltage level by the passage of time of EMS peak data. And through optimization technique target operation voltage of each voltage control area is estimated and compare heir result. Then it is proposed that the best scenario to keep up voltage stability and maximize economical efficiency in real power system.
