Prior researchers interpreted the records of criminal cases involving the Progressive Party from a historical perspective. In marked contrast to existing trends, this study examines the Progressive Party case records through the lens of archival science. This study dissects the Progressive Party case records as a single and complete record group and at each stage of their life cycle from police investigation through criminal prosecution to trial. This approach enables a holistic analysis of archival characteristics of the records. This study begins with an appraisal of the nature and types of case records generated and maintained by the various agencies in light of the investigatory authorities delegated to each institution. This study then dissects the police, prosecution, and Counter Intelligence Corps records leading up to the indictment of Progressive Party members as well as the court records of the trial that followed. In particular, this study reveals the insufficiency and illegality of the evidence against the defendants in the Progressive Party case from an archival standpoint. Setting aside the admissibility or strength of the evidence under criminal law, the present study demonstrates that the records lack reliability, authenticity, and integrity-the fundamental attributes required for evidentiary efficacy of records from an archival standpoint.
An election is a major event in a country that elects the people's representatives. Currently, Korea's electoral system has a structure that limits the exclusion of the minority's opinion. Also, it has strengthened the monopoly of major political parties. Despite the harsh conditions, Green Party Korea has proposed an alternative to prevent even the minority from being excluded by practicing direct democracy and expanding proportional representation through the institutionalization of the democratic process within the party. Election campaigns should thus reflect this orientation of Green Party Korea. The local elections and the national elections reflect Korea's political and social status and show the course over two minority parties beyond such limits. Moreover, they provide evidence of the activities of Green Party Korea. The paper analyzes how the election archives of the party hold the values of democracy, how minor parties jump to another because of the unfavorable election system, and how the archives of Green Party Korea reflect its values on the political history of Korea.

The study aims at providing an electronic transaction records management system based on the third party repository which do not have any interest in electronic transactions. This study reviews various articles and standards. It also discusses theoretical issues about electronic transactions and electronic transaction records. Complex characteristics of electronic transaction records are explored and management procedures are analyzed and divided into 5 stages by the life cycle and management bodies. Based on these discussions the study affirms that trustworthy third parties' interventions are essential to prevent and control potential conflicts of electronic transactions. It proposes a trustworthy electronic transaction record management system with the third party repository. Futhermore, it discusses evidence and management environment of electronic transaction records and provides cases of TTPR based on contract transaction and exchange transaction.
The organization for managing records and archives did not emerge together with the founding of the Chinese Communist Party. Such management became active with the establishment of the Department of Documents (文書科) and its affiliated offices overseeing reading and safekeeping of official papers, after the formation of the Central Secretariat(中央秘書處) in 1926. Improving the work of the Secretariat's organization became the focus of critical discussions in the early 1930s. The main criticism was that the Secretariat had failed to be cognizant of its political role and degenerated into a mere "functional organization." The solution to this was the "politicization of the Secretariat's work." Moreover, influenced by the "Rectification Movement" in the 1940s, the party emphasized the responsibility of the Resources Department (材料科) that extended beyond managing documents to collecting, organizing and providing various kinds of important information data. In the mean time, maintaining security with regard to composing documents continued to be emphasized through such methods as using different names for figures and organizations or employing special inks for document production. In addition, communications between the central political organs and regional offices were emphasized through regular reports on work activities and situations of the local areas. The General Secretary not only composed the drafts of the major official documents but also handled the reading and examination of all documents, and thus played a central role in record processing. The records, called archives after undergoing document processing, were placed in safekeeping. This function was handled by the "Document Safekeeping Office(文件保管處)" of the Central Secretariat's Department of Documents. Although the Document Safekeeping Office, also called the "Central Repository(中央文庫)", could no longer accept, beginning in the early 1930s, additional archive transfers, the Resources Department continued to strengthen throughout the 1940s its role of safekeeping and providing documents and publication materials. In particular, collections of materials for research and study were carried out, and with the recovery of regions which had been under the Japanese rule, massive amounts of archive and document materials were collected. After being stipulated by rules in 1931, the archive classification and cataloguing methods became actively systematized, especially in the 1940s. Basically, "subject" classification methods and fundamental cataloguing techniques were adopted. The principle of assuming "importance" and "confidentiality" as the criteria of management emerged from a relatively early period, but the concept or process of evaluation that differentiated preservation and discarding of documents was not clear. While implementing a system of secure management and restricted access for confidential information, the critical view on providing use of archive materials was very strong, as can be seen in the slogan, "the unification of preservation and use." Even during the revolutionary movement and wars, the Chinese Communist Party continued their efforts to strengthen management and preservation of records & archives. The results were not always desirable nor were there any reasons for such experiences to lead to stable development. The historical conditions in which the Chinese Communist Party found itself probably made it inevitable. The most pronounced characteristics of this process can be found in the fact that they not only pursued efficiency of records & archives management at the functional level but, while strengthening their self-awareness of the political significance impacting the Chinese Communist Party's revolution movement, they also paid attention to the value possessed by archive materials as actual evidence for revolutionary policy research and as historical evidence of the Chinese Communist Party.
Electronic records are generated not only in public sector but also in private sector. Records will be used across the public-private boundary. The Certified e-Document Authorities(CeDAs) may keep electronic documents in private sector for preservation and evidence, like the official Record Management Systems for Public sector. A CeDA is the Trusted Third Party (TTP) as a business to be entrusted and proof interchanging documents between parties. This CeDA system could be sustainable only if the CeDA earn the enough sales through enough uses. And yet, all the eight CeDA companies have not had enough users. How to utilize CeDAs is one of the hot issues in this area. In this paper, We analyze the threat to trustworthiness of CeDA due to payment of only one party among others, and describe the difficulty in use of CeDA for an individual user. These things make CeDAs cannot have enough users. To do address these, We expand the boundary of relevant parties for a document, present a delegate-establishing option under a joint name, show the needs of identifying and notifying minimum relevant parties, and suggest the proxy parties to help the individual users.
NGO called the third sector is one of the major party of the modern society. Therefore documentation of the various NGOs' activities is the way of recording our society fully. This paper identifies the value of NGOs' records, verifies the needs for NGOs' records management, examines two case of consulting projects on NGOs in Korea which has been conducted by the author and graduate students, and offers a consulting methodology of building records management scheme for the small scale NGOs. The cases are related to small-scale NGOs operated by under 10 full-time activists. One case is related to the NGO based on the locality and the other case is related to the NGO based on the special subject matter. The methodology contains four stages such as defining direction stage, AS-IS analysis stage, TO-BE modelling stage and transition & closing stage. Standard records management guideline for NGOs should be developed using this methodology in the future.
This study was designed to establish Korean food culture by analyzing 17 sets of Jinyounuigue, Jinchanuigue, and Jinjarkuigue which were the records of royal party procedures in Yi dynasty, Analysis was made on royal parties in terms of table setting, kinds of dishes served, composition of foods, frequency of the food materials used, and food items changed over the period from 1719 to 1902, the latter half period of Yi dynasty. Foods used in those parties were classified into seven groups in this study; rice and noodoes, side dishes, Docks, desserts, fruits and nuts, beverages, and sauces. There were about 10 kinds of steamed rice and noodles including Mandoo and Byungtang, 140 different kinds of side dishes, 53 kinds of Kocks, 142 kinds of various desserts, especially Dasik and Korean cookies, 38 kinds of fruits and nuts, 10 kinds of beverages including Hwachae and Sujeongkwa, and 10 kinds of sauces such as soy sauce, mustard, honey, and etc. There was no tendency in omission or addition of food materials, but the number and heights of dishes were designated by the scale or character of the party. There were unique measuring units that were quite different from metric system. More than 30 different units were appeared in the differences. Most of them were used for typical items such as Sari for noodles only. However some were quite general and used until now. Mal and Dye were the units for volume, Kwan and Kuen for weight, and Chock and Chon for length.

Online food delivery and food delivery apps have continued to grow exponentially in Malaysia. Fundamental aspects in entrepreneurship of the food and beverage industry, such as knowledge and attitudes towards online food delivery services being outsourced, have yet to be extensively recognized. The present study intends to explore this area of subject matter within the Malaysian context by using behavioral reasoning theory. The actual interview for this study took place in May 2020, and 14 interviews had been carried out. All interviews were audio-recorded with the consent from the respondents for reference purposes and subsequently transcribed verbatim. The transcripts were then checked against audio records. Content analysis was used to analyze the transcripts by focusing on n frequency counts and coding of themes. A qualitative method has been adopted by employing an interview to elicit the perspectives of entrepreneurs from Sarawak on the determinants and barriers in outsourcing online food delivery services. Results indicate that high potential in revenue, broad exposure to reach customers, convenience, and provision of job opportunities are the four factors that determine to outsource. In contrast, food quality maintenance, trustworthiness, high cost incurred, and consumer technology resistance are four factors that serve as barriers towards outsourcing third-party online delivery.

Deep Learning is a useful method for classifying and recognizing complex data such as images and text, and the accuracy of the deep learning method is the basis for making artificial intelligence-based services on the Internet useful. However, the vast amount of user da vita used for training in deep learning has led to privacy violation problems, and it is worried that companies that have collected personal and sensitive data of users, such as photographs and voices, own the data indefinitely. Users cannot delete their data and cannot limit the purpose of use. For example, data owners such as medical institutions that want to apply deep learning technology to patients' medical records cannot share patient data because of privacy and confidentiality issues, making it difficult to benefit from deep learning technology. In this paper, we have designed a privacy preservation technique-applied deep learning technique that allows multiple workers to use a neural network model jointly, without sharing input datasets, in multi-party system. We proposed a method that can selectively share small subsets using an optimization algorithm based on modified stochastic gradient descent, confirming that it could facilitate training with increased learning accuracy while protecting private information.

The purpose of this study is to examine the driving forces and main contents of the reform of the records and archives management system in Japan from the 2009 enactment of the Public Records and Archives Management Act. The key essentials of the reform can be explained in two ways. First is through the legal system, a multilayer structure of the law and guidelines to the institutional documents management regulations for an effective application to each administrative institution. The other is the Public Records and Archives Management Commission, a deliberative body that guarantees the rigorous application and enforcement of the rules and regulations. One of the remarkable outcomes from the reform is the compulsory creation of minutes of the countermeasure meetings in government agencies related to the Great East Japan Earthquake Disaster, as well as the various significant cabinet meetings through a revision of the Guidelines for Public Administrative Records Management. In addition, the new construction of the National Archives of Japan and its meaning have been examined. It is being pushed ahead, with the active support of the ruling party members, through activities such as research and review meetings for improving the functions and facilities of the National Archives of Japan.
