This paper introduces an analysis method to predicting the flow characteristic of flow field around otter board In order to develope a high performance model. In this experiment, it is used a numerical analysis of flow field through CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamic), PIV method in which quantitative, qualitative evaluation is possible. In this experiment, it is used PIV method with flow filed image around otter board in order to analysis of flow characteristic. The result compared flow pattern with analysis result through CFD and also measurement result of lift and drag force coefficient carried out in CWC(Circulating Water Channel). The numerical analysis result is matched well with experiment result of PIV in the research and it is able to verify In the physical aspect. The result is as follows ; (1) It was carried out visibility experiment using laser light sheet, and picture analysis through PIV method in order to analysis fluid field of otter-board. As a result, the tendency of qualitative fluid movement only through the fluid particle's flow could be known. (2) Since PIV analysis result is quantitative, this can be seen in velocity vector distributions, instantaneous streamline contour, and average vorticity distributions through various post processing method. As a result, the change of flow field could be confirmed. (3) At angle of attack 24$^{\circ}$ where It Is shown maximum spreading force coefficient, the analysis result of CFD and PIV had very similar flow pattern. In both case, at the otter-board post edge a little boundary layer separation was seen, but, generally they had a good flow (4) As the result of post processing with velocity vector distributions, instantaneous streamline contour and average vorticity distributions by PIV, boundary layer separation phenomenon started to happen from angle of attack 24$^{\circ}$, and from over angle of attack 28$^{\circ}$, it happen at leading edge side with the width enlarged.

The practical studies on the method of particle contamination control for yield enhancement in the cleanroom were carried out. The method of the contamination control was proposed, which are composed of data collection, data analysis, improvement action, verification, and implement control. The partition check method and the composition analysis for data collection and data analysis were respectively used in the main board and the cellular phone module production lines. And these methods were evaluated by the variation of yield loss between before and after improvement action. In case that the partition check method was applied, the critical process step was selected and yield loss reduction through improvement actions was observed. While in case that the composition analysis was applied, the critical sources were selected and yield loss reduction through improvement actions was also investigated. From these results, it is concluded that the partition check and the composition analysis are effective solutions for particle contamination control in the cleanroom production lines.
The electronic device, such as flat panel display (FPD), is very important in our life as a means of communication between humans. Liquid crystal display (LCD), which is categorized as a flat panel display, has been used in many display products, especially in TV industry. An LED TV is composed of several electrical components, such as liquid critical module (LCM), analog to digital convertor (AD), power supplier, and inverter board. These modules are very vulnerable to particulate contamination, and causing malfunction or visibility degradation. In this study, we developed a test method for prediction of LCM's lifetime. The test system consists of carbon particle generation flame, dilution system, test chamber, and particle concentration monitoring instrument. Since the carbon particles are the most abundant in the atmosphere and easily absorb light, soot particles are used as a challenging material for this test. The concentration of generated soot particles is set around 4,000,000 #/cc, which is 400 times higher than that of usual atmospheric particles. Through this experiment, we deduced the relationship between the dust concentration and life time of the test specimen.
The characteristics for the aerosol number distribution was studied during spring, 2004 in Incheon. Optical Particle Counter (OPC, HIAC/ROYCO 5230) was used in order to measure the number concentration of aerosol in the range of $0.3\~25{\mu}m.$. The obtained results were compared with $PM_{2.5}\;and\;PM_{10}$ data during Asian dust events. The results show that the size resolved aerosol number concentration from OPC measurement has a similar tendency with $PM_{10}\;and\;PM_{2.5}$ mass concentration. During Asian dust periods, the number concentrations in large particle $(CH5\~CH8)$ increase more than small particles which diameter is less than $2.23{\mu}m(CH5)$ and the same results were shown when $PM_{10}$ was compared with $PM_{2.5}$ data compared with non-dust days, Consequently, this study shows that size resolved aerosol number concentration from OPC measurement can be used as a useful tool in comparison of mass concentration data.
In order to study the effect of sawdustboard combined with plastic chips, 0.5mm($T_1$), 1mm($T_2$), 1.4mm($T_3$) thick nylon fiber. polypropylene rope fiber(RP), and 0.23mm thick moth-proof polypropylene net fiber(NP) were cut into 0.5, 1, 2cm long plastic chips. Thereafter, sawdustboard combined with plastic chips prepared as the above and plastic non-combined sawdustboard(control) were manufactured into 3 types of one-, two-, and three layer with 5 or 10% combination level. By the discussions and results at this study, the significant conclusions of mechanical and physical properties were summarized as follows: 1. The MORs were shown in the order of 3 layer> 2 layer> 1 layer among plastic non-combined boards, and $T_3$ < $T_2$ < $T_1$ < RP (NP(5%) < NP(l0%) among plastic combined boards. In 2cm long plastic chip in 1 layer board, the highest strength through all the composition was recognized. 1 layer board showing the lower strength with 0.5cm plastic chip rendered to the bending strength improvement by 2 or 3 layer board composition. On the other hand, 2 or 3 layer combined with 1, 2cm long polypropylene net fiber chips incurred MOR's conspicuous decrease requiring optimum plastic chip combined level and consideration to combined type. 2. MOE in plastic non-combined 3 layer board exhibited sandwich construction effect by higher resin content application to surface layer in the order of 3layer>1layer>2layer with the highest stiffness of the board combined with polypropylene chip, while nylon chip-combined board had little difference from plastic non-combined board. In relevant to length and layer effect, 3 layer board combined with the 0.5cm long polypropylene net fiber chip in 5% and 10% combined level presented 34-43% and 44-76% stiffness increase against plastic non-combined board(control), respectively. Moreover, in 1 layer board, 30% stiffness increase with 10% against 5% combined level in the 1 and 2cm long polypropylene net fiber chip was obtained. 3. Stress at proportional limit(Spl) showing the fiber relationship (r: 0.81-0.97) between MOR presented in the order of 1 layer<2 layer<3 layer in plastic non-combined board. Correspondingly, combined effect by layer and plastic chip length was similar to MOR's. 4. Differently from previous properties(MOR, MOE, Spl). work to maximum load(Wml) of 2 layer board approached to that of 3 layer board. Conforming the above phenomenon. 2 layer combined with 0.5cm long polypropylene net fiber chip kept the greater work than 1 layer. The polypropylene combined board superior to nylon -and plastic non - combined board seemed to have greater anti - failing capacity. 5. The main purpose of this study is to generate a fine copper oxide powder of high purity, with a compact structure and a uniform particle size by a spray pyrolysis process. The raw material is a waste copper chloride solution formed in the manufacturing process of Print Circuit Board (PCB). This study also examines the influences of various factors on the properties of the generated powder. These factors include the reaction temperature, the inflow speed of the raw material solution, the inflow speed of the air, the size of the nozzle tip, and the concentration of the raw material solution. It is discovered that, as the reaction temperature increases from 80$0^{\circ}C$ to 100$0^{\circ}C$ , the particle size of the generated powder increases accordingly, and that the structure of the powder becomes much more compact. When the reaction temperature is 100$0^{\circ}C$, the particle size of the generated powder increases as the concentration of copper in the raw material solution increases to 40g/l, decreases as the concentration increases up to 120g/l, and increases again as the concentration reaches 200g/1. In the case of a lower concentration of the raw material solution, the generated powder appears largely in the form of CuO. As the concentration increases, however, the powder appears largely in the form of CuCl. When the concentration of copper in the raw material solution is 120g/1, the particle size of the generated powder increases as the inflow speed of the raw material solution increases. When the concentration of copper in the raw material solution is 120g/1, there is no evident change in the particle size of the generated powder as the size of the nozzle tip and the air pressure increases. When the concentration is 40g/1, however, the particle size keeps increasing until the air pressure increases to 0.5kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$, but decreases remarkably as the air pressure exceeds 0.5kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$.

This paper describes the results of a systematic study to determine the characteristics of particle generated from various types of asbestos containing material(ACM) and manmade fiber material(MMFM) during operations of cutting and grinding in laboratory and workplace. Tests were conducted with a specially designed glove box which allowed complete sampling of the generated asbestos fibers. Specificially, air measurements were made during ACM and MMFM installation in building. All personal air samples collected were identified by polarized light microscopy(PLM), X-ray diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscope with energy dispersive X-ray analysis(SEM/EDXA). Also, the samples were counted by phase contrast microscope(PCM) in order to compare the results with the permissible exposure standard for workplace. Results indicate that the characterisitcs of fibers found in the roofing sheet, the ceiling and the wall insulation boards were identical to those of asbestos, while the characteristics of fibers found in the ceiling insulation board, the floor tile and the sprayed on insulation products in parking area were identical to those of asbestos, while the characteristics of fibers found in the ceiling insulation board, the floor tile and the sprayed on insulation products in parking area were identical to those of rock wool. The concentrations of airborne fibers from various building materials cut by a grinder for 5 minutes were in the ranges of 0.09 $\sim$ 1.71 fibers/cc(f/cc). The highest concentration(1.71f/cc) was found during grinding the wall insulation board which also contains rock wool. The airborne fiber concentrations generated by installing at workplace were ranged from 0.0009 to 0.029 f/cc. All asbestos fibers from the ceiling insulation board at workplace were less than 20$\mu$m in length and more than 20% of them had the average aspect ratio greater than 20. Therefore, for the purpose of decreasing asbestos and man-made fiber concentrations at the workplace, the ceiling and wall board should use strong binding material to increase the binding force with fiber. Also, the permissible exposure standard for workplace(2.0f/cc) in Korea should be constituted below the maximum avaiable concentration measured at glove box.

Study that form micro pattern by direct ink jet printing method is getting attention recently. Direct ink jet printing spout fine droplet including nano metal particle by force or air pressure. There is reason which ink jet printing method is profitable especially in a various micro-patterning technology. It can embody patterns directly without complex process such as mask manufacture or screen-printing for existent lithography. In this study, research of a technology that ejects fine droplet form of Pico liter and forms metal micro pattern was carried with inkjet head of piezoelectricity drive system. Droplet established pattern while ejecting consecutively and move on the surface at the fixed speed. Patterns formed in ink are mixed with organic solvent and polymer that act as binder. So added thermal hardening process after evaporate organic solvent at isothermal after printing. I executed high frequency special quality estimation of CPW transmission line to confirm electrical property of manufactured circuit board. We tried a large area printing to confirm application possibility of an ink jet technology.
This study was carried out to estimate the effects of density and mixing ratio of mandarin peels on the bending performances of the sawdust-mandarin peels particle boards. The board density influenced significantly to the bending performance of boards. Dynamic modulus of elasticity (dMOE) and static modulus of elasticity (sMOE) and modulus of rupture (MOR) of particle boards decreased with an increase in the mixing ratio of mandarin peels at the board densities of $0.4g/cm^3$ and $0.5g/cm^3$. High correlations were found between the dMOE and sMOE, and dMOE and MOR of particle boards prepared. Therefore, it was concluded that the dMOE obtained by free vibration test using resonance frequency could be used for predicting the sMOE and MOR of sawdust-mandarin peels particle boards.
This study was performed to determine the characteristics of particleboard made from three-months-old bamboo, (Phyllostachys nigra var henonis Stapf) grown in Damyang district, Korea. Total 60 particleboards were manufactured with 1% of liquid wax emulsion using urea-formaldehyde resin content 9%,11% and 13%, respectively. The particle boards consisted of three layers, in which face layer had the same proportion of a weight 25% of the particleboard each. And the core layer had a weight 50% of the board. The core layer and face layer had the particle dimension passing 6 mesh (3.35 mm), 12 mesh (1.70 mm), respectively. The study was carried out to determine the effect of the growing time of 3 months and 3 years on particleboard properties. The physical and mechanical properties of boards were measured and compared to the Korean standard (KS) requirements of particle boards. The results were as follows; 1. The longer the growing time, the higher the density of bamboo. Density of the upper part of bamboo showed higher than that of lower part. 2. Density and moisture content of the two particle boards did not show significant differences. Three-months-old bamboo particleboard gave higher thickness swelling than three-years-old bamboo particleboard. Bamboo particleboard passed the thickness swelling test of KS. 3. The static bending and internal bond strength of three-months-old bamboo particleboard were higher than those of three-years-old bamboo. Increase of resin contents in bamboo particleboard increased bending and internal bond strength, proportionally. Strength properties of bamboo particle board were above KS. 4. Formaldehyde emission of all the bamboo particleboards satisfied E2 level (5.0 mg/L) of KS F 3104.
