The Effect of Overseas Exhibition's Quality Characteristics on Re-Participation Intention: Focused on the Mediating Effect of Participation Performance and the Moderating Effect of Policy Support (해외전시회 품질특성이 재참가의도에 미치는 영향: 참가성과의 매개효과 및 정책지원의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • This study aimed to confirm the quality of exhibitions and the effectiveness of government's policy support for small and medium-sized companies seeking to help companies expand overseas marketing and improve their performance through participation in overseas exhibitions. For the purpose of empirical analysis, the survey was conducted directly to exhibitors of companies participating in overseas exhibitions with the support of government for three years from 2016 to 2018. As a result, the quality characteristics of overseas exhibitions had a significant positive influence on re-participation intention, and the influence was the most important in organizer's capacity, followed by exhibition reputation and exhibition environment. In addition, quality characteristics had a significant effect on participation performance, and participation performance had a partial mediating effect on re-participation intention. The government's policy support had a significant moderating effect between participation performance and re-participation intention, and the conditional indirect effect (adjusted mediating effect) on the effect of quality characteristics on re-participation intention through participation performance. This study has an academic significance in confirming the mediating effect of participation performance and the moderating effect of government policy support.

Effects of social participation activities on successful aging of elderly : The Mediating Effects of Verification ego-resilience (노인의 사회참여활동이 성공적 노화에 미치는 영향: 자아탄력성의 매개효과 검증)

  • This study is to comprehensively analyze the social participation of elderly and verify the mediating effect of ego-resilience and impact on successful aging purposes. It surveyed 301 people aged 60 years or older is living in Goyang city, using a structured questionnaire collected data were analyzed by SPSS 18,0 and AMOS 21. The results of this study, Demographic variables appeared to affect social-participation activities through the gender, age, religion, partner and occupation, and Only the presence of the occupation showed the effect on successful aging. And in society participation activities sub-variable, only self-development participation showed a significant impact on the successful aging. Ego resilience of the elderly appeared to have a full-mediated effects on the relationship between social participation activities and successful aging. However, the relationship of self-development engagement activities showed a partial mediating effect. Based on these findings, I suggest practical measures for the elderly social participation activities and successful aging, and was revisited the importance of self-resilience.

A Study on the Daily Sports Activities of Senior and Leisurely Satisfaction of Statistical Analysis Technique through (통계분석기법을 통한 노인의 생활체육활동과 여가만족도에 관한 연구)

  • This study identifies the effect of community sports activities of senior on leisurely satisfaction to present basic information for active participation of senior in daily sports activities for enhanced satisfaction of senior and heir families. As a result, this study found that there is a significant difference between senior who participated in the activities and those who did not, and participation in daily sports activities has partial effect on leisurely satisfaction. Based on the conclusion above, this study suggests that degree of participation as well as participation in daily sports activities enhances leisure satisfaction of senior and their families. Therefore, to enhance the living quality of senior people, we need a discussion on development of a model based on effective daily sports activation plan.

Influences of Participation Motivation and Satisfaction of Nursing Students on Continuance Willingness of Voluntary Activities (간호대학생의 자원봉사활동 참여 동기와 만족도가 자원봉사활동 지속 의향에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: This study was done to examine the relationship between participation motivation, satisfaction and continuance willingness of voluntary activities of nursing students, and to identify factors influencing continuance willingness of voluntary activities. Methods: The research participants were 175 nursing students in the nursing departments of 3 universities located in G city and J province in Korea. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression. Results: Participants' scores for participation motivation, satisfaction and continuance willingness of voluntary activities were $3.24{\pm}0.76$, $3.11{\pm}0.83$ and $3.03{\pm}0.85$ respectively. Participation motivation and satisfaction of voluntary activities had positive correlations. Satisfaction and continuance willingness of voluntary activities had positive correlations. Factors influencing nursing students' continuance willingness of voluntary activities included participation motivation and satisfaction of voluntary activities. And these variables explained 74% of the variance in continuance willingness of voluntary activities. Conclusion: The findings show that development and application of educational programs to increase participation motivation and satisfaction of voluntary activities are important and will improve nursing students' continuance willingness of voluntary activities.

Impact of Brand-Name Fast Food Service on Students' Participation in School Lunch

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of offering brand-name fast food at schools on student participation in school lunch. Two studies were conducted in Indiana, USA. In the first study, daily participation rate of 42 Indiana schools were compared between the days when brand-name fast food were offered and when they were not offered. The impact of brand-name fast food service on school lunch participation differed depending on the types of service offering brand-name fast food. Offering brand-name fast food solely as part of reimbursable meals or a-la-carte items was shown to induce students to the lunch option where brand-name fast food was offered. The second study examined the relationship of brand-name fast food service to monthly participation rate by analyzing secondary data of 1,282 Indiana schools using multiple regression analysis. Offering brand-name fast food was associated with monthly participation rate in school lunch only when schools offered them solely a-la-carte. Based on the results of two studies, it was concluded that offering brand-name fast food induced students from other lunch options to the options where brand-name fast food was offered on the day of service. However, increased or decreased participation in school lunch only on a few days could have not impacted average school lunch participation over a month. It is recommended that schools planning to offer brand-name fast food should make it available as part of reimbursable school lunches so that usual school lunch eaters would not be distracted to a-la-carte lines.   • Promulgation of the Environment Preservation Act of 1977 has tried to conserve the environment encroached by the development projects. Since 1983, this act has included tourism development in EIA project and public participation as a part of EIA process since 1991. Still, there are many problems in applying the gathered opinions of local residents in such development plans. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a new system in whole project process as well as EIA to reflect these opinions. This study aims to investigate the problems in the process of the public participation and to suggest more effective solutions from the developer's point of view. Studies include theories of public participation developed in the planning process and the opinion survey of developers.

A study about the convergent effects of team interaction and team metacognition affecting a continuous participation in learning community of university (팀상호작용과 팀메타인지가 대학생 학습공동체 지속참여에 미치는 융복합적 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze convergent effects of team interaction and team metacognition of participants on a continuous participation in the university learning community. We developed 19 items of team interaction and 17 items of team metacognition through literature review. The subjects were 113 students who participated in learning community in A university. The results are as follows. First, team interaction level and team metacognition level can affect a continuous participation in learning community. The higher team interaction is and the lower team metacognition is, the higher continuous participation is. Second, among team interaction factors that affect a continuous participation in learning community, the more number of learning is and the more encouragement of one another is, the higher continuous participation is. But the less participation of members is, the less flow to learning is, and the less learning time is, the lower a continuous participation is. Third, among team metacognition factors that affect a continuous participation in learning community, the more number of learning is, the higher continuous participation is. But the more use of various learning tools is and the more learning time is, the lower continuous participation is. Based on these results, the convergent ways of support for continuous participation in the university learning community are as follows. First, supporting system is needed to induce students to experience the positive atmosphere of learning community by increasing number of learning to facilitate team interaction and urging them to encourage one another. Second, providing the effective utilization method is necessary for students to fully acknowledge the necessity and value of team metacognition activity.

  • Residents Participation in Environmental Problems is essential for achieving better environmental. But, the Residents Participation in Korea is lack of popularity and still be situated in the level of only problem raises and protests afterwards. Public Environmental Education necessary for Residents Participation, is not a pratical education, because the education in the government side be performed mostly for the government employees and the environmental experts. To encourage the Residents Participation in Environmental Problems, the decision procedure of the environmental policies should by opened, and pratical movements. To enhance the Public Environmental Education, the NGOs' programs and mass-media campaign for environment should be enlarged and supported by the government.

  • This paper examined public participation in the final Environmental Impact Statement(EIS) in terms of institutional procedures and content analysis. By reviewing EIS Draft Manual and related laws and regulations, seven problems were identified in the system. The content of public participation in 14 EISs were analyzed by a developed protocol, most results of which were similar to the identified seven problems. In conclusion, this paper suggested that the systematic problems should be improved to activate more efficient public participation.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify article measuring treatment outcome for children with Cerebral Palsy in participation. The 6 database included EBSCohost was used for literature search. Key words for search strategy were "Cerebral Palsy and Children and Participation and Interventions". A total of 11 studies were searched and studies of evidence level I was 6(54.5%), studies of intervention method focused on physical function, activity and participation was 7(63.7%). The dependent variables of 2 studies(18.2%) were body structure and function, activity and participation, that of 4 studies(36.4%) were both body structure and function and participation, that of 3 studies(27.3%) were activity and participation, that of 2 studies(18.2%) were only participation. The COPM were used in 5 studies(45.5%).
