The problems of determining appropriate QOS(Quality of service) requirements of B-ISDN services and finding the corresponding NP(Network Performance) values satisfying the given QOS requirements are very important problems which are directly related to the successful operation of the ATM network, but have not been studied with enough attention yet. The QOS(NP) parameter definition, QOS measurements, and QOS managements are three major problems that should be solved. In this paper, we first introduce the basic concepts of QOS and NP and their relationships. Then we discuss more comprehensive concepts of QOS based on the layered structure of ATM services and the reference time, which can provide a systematic approach for QOS and NP mapping problems. We also provide examples of determining basic QOS(NP) parameters in the ATM layer and a specific example of QOS mapping based on the file transfer in ATM. The results of this paper can be used to establish the comprehensive QOS management model.

We have analyzed the stability for cut-slopes at main street 3-2 line section in Pa-ju local industrial complex. After studying an additional boring test, laboratory test and face mapping etc., we have determined the extent of reinforcement, slope inclinations and soil strength parameter from the analysis of test results. After changing the inclination of slopes for ground limit and carrying out the analysis of slope stability, we applied the Mass Nailing Method to the site because of need for reinforcement to soil and weathered rock slopes. In slope for soft and hard rock sections, we also reinforced the sections that are difficult to obtain the safety without reinforcement in alteration zone.

An algorithm using topological mapping has been developed for a real-time detection of the QRS complexes of ECG signals. As a measurement of QRS complex energy, we used topological mapping from one dimensional sampled ECG signals to two dimensional vectors. These vectors are reconstructed with the sampled ECG signals and the delayed ones. In this method, the detection rates of CRS complex vary with the parameters such as R-R interval average and peak detection threshold coefficient. We use mean, median, and iterative method to determint R-R interval average and peak estimation. We experiment on various value of search back coefficient and peak detection threshold coefficient to find optimal rule.

The purpose of this paper is to present an operator method of regularization for the problem of finding a solution of a system of nonlinear ill-posed equations with a monotone hemicontinuous mapping and N inverse-strongly monotone mappings in Banach spaces. A regularization parameter choice is given and convergence rate of the regularized solutions is estimated. We also give the convergence and convergence rate for regularized solutions in connection with the finite-dimensional approximation. An iterative regularization method of zero order in a real Hilbert space and two examples of numerical expressions are also given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

Multiple types of information in a multimedia service are delivered though multiple virtual connections on ATM network, while each virtual connection may be controlled independently. A multimedia service requires an associative relationship among multiple information streams to provide required harmonization. There may be required additional traffic descriptors to guarantee the required harmonization among multiple information streams in a multimedia service. For buffering of large bandwidth information stream(e.g., video), extremely large buffer size is necessary, but this approach should not be efficient way to compensate a severely delayed cells/blocks experienced at network. The best way to solve this problem will be minimization of relative-delayed-transfer of cells/blocks to application processes through ATM network control. To minimize a delayed transfer the mapping between relative delay parameter(i.e., associative Group QoS parameters) and per-VC traffic descriptor will be necessary. This paper is present additional functions and parameters to interpret the mapping between relative delay parameters(i.e., associative Group QoS parameters) and per-VC traffic descriptors in ATM API for multimedia application services.

An adaptive finite element method for analyzing two-dimensional and axisymmetric nonlinear elastic fracture mechanics problems with cracks is presented. The J-integral is used as a parameter to characterize the severity of stresses and deformation near crack tips. The domain integral technique, for which all relevant quantities are integrated over any arbitrary element areas around the crack tips, is utilized as the J-integral solution scheme with 9-node degenerated crack tip elements. The solution accuracy is further improved by incorporating an error estimation procedure onto a remeshing algorithm with a solution mapping scheme to resume the analysis at a particular load level after the adaptive remeshing technique has been applied. Several benchmark problems are analyzed to evaluate the efficiency of the combined domain integral technique and the adaptive finite element method.

본 논문에서는 SLA 기반 SLS 매핑 방안을 제안한다. 서비스 품질에 대한 보장를 위해 제시되는 SLA의 구축 시에 SLS는 고려되어야할 사항이며, SLS를 통하여 네트워크 서비스 제공에 대한 품질 파라미터가 결정되는 것이다.

In this paper, we investigate the behavior and sensitivity analysis of a solution set for a parametric generalized multi-valued nonlinear quasi-variational inclusion problem in a real Hilbert space. For this study, we utilize the technique of resolvent operator and the property of a fixed-point set of a multi-valued contractive mapping. We also examine Lipschitz continuity of the solution set with respect to the parameter under some appropriate conditions.

일반화된 허프변환(GHough)은 임의의 2차원 모델 추출을 위해 사용되는 유용한 기법이다. 그러나 GHough는 모델의 회전과 축척 관련 사전 정보가 없을 경우 모든 경우의 수를 나열하는 변환 방식을 택하기 때문에 4차원 패러미터 배열이라는 방대한 메모리 사용이 불가피하며 실행시간 또한 오래 걸릴 수밖에 없다. 이를 개선하기 위해 제안된 몇몇 n-to-1 변환 방식 들은 4차원 대신 2차원 패러미터 배열 사용만으로도 임의의 모델 추출을 가능케 한 반면 2차원 패러미터 공간에 던져지는 무작위 투표 때문에 모델 추출 오류 가능성 또한 높다 하겠다. 본 논문은 이와 같은 2차원 패러미터 공간에 던져지는 무작위 투표를 감소시키기 위한 방안으로 모델 내부의 추가적인 그레디언트 정보 활용을 제안하며 모델 윤곽선 정보에 추가로 모델 내부 그레디언트 정보를 활용할 경우 2차원 패러미터 공간에 던져지는 무작위 투표수를 효과적으로 줄일 수 있으며 따라서 실행시간 또한 단축될 수 있음을 실험을 통해 입증한다.

In this paper, we introduce a new approximating method for finding the common element of the set of fixed points of nonexpansive mappings and the set of solution of system variational inequalities for finite family of inverse strongly monotone mappings and strictly pseudo-contractive of Browder-Petryshyn type mappings. We show that the sequence converges strongly to a common element the above two sets under some parameter controling conditions. Our results improve and extend the results announced by many others.
