We shall propose several estimators for the scale parameter in the uniform distribution when the parameter is functions of a known exposure level, and obtain expectations and variances for their proposed estimators. And we shall compare numerically relative efficiencies for proposed estimators of the scale parameter in the small sample sizes.

Phase change memory (PCM) has attracted much attention as one of the most promising candidates for next-generation nonvolatile memory. In that regard, the purposes of the study are to propose reference of effective pulse parameter to control phase switching operation and to invest the effect of nitrogen doped in PCM materials for improved cycling stability and economic energy consumption. Switching operation of PCM is affected by electric pulse parameter and as shown in figure.1 are composed to RT(rising time), ST(setting time), FT(falling time) and the effect of these parameter was precisely investigated. Transmission electron microscope (TEM) was used to confirm fine structure and retention cycle test was conducted to confirm reliability. Finally improvement reliability and economic power consumption in quantitatively are obtainable by optimum pulse parameter and nitrogen doping in GST material. these study is related to the engineering background of other semiconductor industries and it have confirmed to possibility further applications.

In this paper, we analyze the Korean Won/Japanese 100 Yen exchange rate data based on the ARMA-GARCH model, and perform the test for detecting the parameter changes. As a test statistics, we employ the cumulative sum (CUSUM) test for ARMA-GARCH model, which is introduced by Lee and Song (2008). Our empirical analysis indicates that the KRW/JPY exchange rate series experienced several parameter changes during the period from January 2000 to December 2012, which leads to a fitting of AR-IGARCH model to the whole series.

Design and maintenance of large span roof structures require an analysis of their static and dynamic behavior depending on the physical parameters defining the structures. Therefore, it is highly desirable to estimate the parameters from observations of the system. In this paper we study the parameter estimation problem for damped shallow arches. We discuss both symmetric and non-symmetric shapes and loads, and provide theoretical and numerical studies of the model behavior. Our study of the behavior of such structures shows that it is greatly affected by the existence of critical parameters. A small change in such parameters causes a significant change in the model behavior. The presence of the critical parameters makes it challenging to obtain good estimation. We overcome this difficulty by presenting the Parameter Estimation Algorithm that identifies the unknown parameters sequentially. It is shown numerically that the algorithm achieves a successful parameter estimation for models defined by arbitrary parameters, including the critical ones.

이 논문에서는 장기억 과정에서의 변화점을 빨리 검출하는 베이지안 추론방법에 대해 알아본다. 장기억 과정에서의 베이지안 추정은 장기억 모수값에 따라 전체 자료에 대한 부분차분을 계산해야 하기 때문에 수행시간이 많이 걸린다는 문제가 있다. 이 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하고자 장기억 모수공간을 그룹화하여 순서형으로 범주화시킨 후 설명력이 가장 높은 범주의 대표값을 선택하게 하였다. 이 방법은 초기단계에서 범주의 대표값에 대해 한번씩만 부분차분을 계산하면 되기 때문에, 매번 계산해야 하는 추정하는 방법보다, 특히 시계열자료의 수가 많은 경우, 상대적으로 빠른 베인지안 추론이 가능하다. 또한 장기억 모수공간이 (0,0.5) 이기 때문에 모수공간을 적절하게 그룹화한다면 장기억 모수를 선택하는 것이 모수를 추정하는 것에 비해 큰 차이가 없다. 이 논문에서는 나일강 수위자료 실증분석을 통해 제안된 방법의 타당성을 확인해본다.

A modified mechanical model of pre-pressed spring self-centering energy dissipation (PS-SCED) brace is proposed, and the hysteresis band is distinguished by the indication of relevant state variables. The MDOF frame system equipped with the braces is formulated in an incremental form of linear acceleration method. A multi-objective genetic algorithm (GA) based brace parameter optimization method is developed to obtain an optimal solution from the primary design scheme. Parameter sensitivities derived by the direct differentiation method are used to modify the change rate of parameters in the GA operator. A case study is conducted on a steel braced frame to illustrate the effect of brace parameters on node displacements, and validate the feasibility of the modified mechanical model. The optimization results and computational process information are compared among three cases of different strategies of parameter change as well. The accuracy is also verified by the calculation results of finite element model. This work can help the applications of PS-SCED brace optimization related to parameter sensitivity, and fulfill the systematic design procedure of PS-SCED brace-structure system with completed and prospective consequences.

In Recent, it became necessary to envelope the technology about electrodeless fluorescent lamp according to demand of the electrodeless fluorescent lamp system that used higher efficiency and advantage of long-lifetime. Especially, in the electrodeless fluorescent lamp which used H-mode, efficiency of lamp is decided from matching parameter of antena and inverter So it is of the utmost importance to design antena and inverter. Therefore, this paper used a transformer principle for efficiency rising of electrodeless fluorescent lamp and interpreted an equivalent circuit, used an impedance analyzer in order to confirm a performance enhancement of lamp along design of antenna, and confirmed parameter characteristic of R, L, C, Z, Phase, Q-factor along a change of magnetic flux density. Also, this paper confirmed a luminance characteristic of electrodeless lamp along parameter change with measuring optical characteristic along a change of magnetic flux density.
