The present study was designed to answer the following questions: 1) Is there and relationship between the adolescent's sex role identity and perceived parent behavious? 2) Is there any gender differences in perceived parent behavious? 3) Is there any interaction effect between sex role identity and gender in perceived parent behaviors? 109 male and 101 female undergraduates from the five universities in Seoul served as subjects in this investigation. Subjects were administered the Parent Behavior From (PBF) and the Bem Sex Role Inventory (BSRI) in counterbalanced order. A4 (sex-role identity)×2(gender) multivariate analysis of variance was performed for the perceived paternal and maternal behaviors separately. The simultaneous confidence intervals for pairwise comparison were followed when the MANOVA was significant. In testing all hypotheses, .05 was used as a significance level in this study. For the perceived paternal behavious, 1) The androgynous group, compared with the undifferentiated group, reported greater father warmth, active involvement, greater encouragement of cognitive independence, cognitive curiosity, cognitive competence, achievement control, and conformity. 2) The androgynous individuals showed higher father warmth, congitive independence, curiosity, and cognitive competence than the feminine individuals. 3) The androgynous individuals were found to have significantly higher father warmth than the masculine individuals. For the perceived maternal behaviors, there was a significant difference between gender groups in conformity. Daughters reported higher conformity than sons. The interaction effect between sex-role identity and gender, however, was not found to be significant.
The aim of this study was to identify strain KCOM 1265 isolated from subgingival plaque at the species level by comparing 16S ribosomal RNA gene (16S rDNA) and genome sequences. The whole genome of strain KCOM 1265 was extracted using the phenol-chloroform extraction method. 16S rDNA was amplified using polymerase chain reaction and sequenced using the dideoxy chain termination method. Pairwise genome comparison was performed using average nucleotide identity (ANI) and genome-to-genome distance (GGD) analyses. The data showed that the percent similarity of 16S rDNA sequence of strain KCOM 1265 was 99.6% as compared with those of Fusobacterium polymorphum ATCC 10953T and Fusobacterium hwasookii KCOM 1249T. The ANI values of strain KCOM 1265 with F. polymorphum ATCC 10953T and F. hwasookii KCOM 1249T were 95.8% and 93.0%, respectively. The GGD values of strain KCOM 1265 with F. polymorphum ATCC 10953T and F. hwasookii KCOM 1249T were 63.9% and 49.6%, respectively. These results indicate that strain KCOM 1265 belongs to F. polymorphum.
The sequences of two fragments of 18s ribosomal DNA were determined to elucidate relationship between Pungitius sinensis and P. kaibarae. The proportion of G+C pair is 54.85% to 55.15% in P. kaibarae populations and 52.76% in P. sinensis. Number of substitutions ranges from 10~18 among the populations of P. kaibarae and up to 165 between P. sinensis and P. kaibarae. The value of sequence divergence were 0.0118~0.0195 among the populations of P. kaibarae and 0.2136~0.2306 between P. sinensis and P. kaibarae. The result of pairwise comparison of the sequences indicate that phylogenetic relationship between P. sinensis and P. kaibarae was differentiated to specific level.
With a view to analyzing the influential factors and their prioritization in association with the loss from construction disasters, this study has presented relative weighted value and importance for each category of loss by making a systematic classification of costs for non-insured categories (indirect costs) and conducting AHP analysis based on results of a survey of specialists. Through the study, first, I have divided the larger classification of loss factors into human loss factor, financial loss factor, special cost factor, and managerial loss factor, and, second, have presented prioritization of loss categories by allotting scores based on weighted values after calculating weighted value through pairwise comparison of loss levels. Based on these results of the study, we should be able to qualitatively calculate the loss costs that construction disasters inflict on business, promote rational decision-making and efficiency in spending related to a disaster, and compare it against safety investment designed to reduce disaster loss from the perspective of business strategy.
The morphology of the two marine hypotrichous ciliates Apokeronopsis bergeri and A. ovalis, isolated from the Yellow Sea, Korea, are described based on live and protargol-impregnated specimens. It is the first time that these species have been recorded in Korea. In addition, the small subunit ribosomal RNA gene was sequenced for comparison with the public database. The genus Apokeronopsis has recently been established in the family Pseudokeronopsidae, and the two congeners of the Korean population share the following characteristics: one row of one or more buccal cirri; usually two frontoterminal cirri; midventral complex composed of two distinctly separated rows; one left and one right marginal row; number of transverse cirri, more than eight; absence of caudal cirri; two types of cortical granules. Apokeronopsis bergeri differs from A. ovalis primarily in body shape (fusiform vs. oval form), size (usually $260{\times}80{\mu}m$ vs. $160{\times}55{\mu}m$), type II cortical granules (oval vs. round shape; yellow-green vs. mostly colourless and only a few yellow-green in colour), and morphometric data (75-106 vs. 53-70 in adoral membranelles; 37-47 vs. 24-36 in frontal cirri; 9-15 vs. 1-2 in buccal cirri), as well as molecular data (2.87% of pairwise distance).

The Chinese Holstein cattle breed, an introduced breed in China, has been crossbred with native cattle breeds. We hypothesised that the Chinese Holstein local population in Beijing share haplotypes with native Asian cattle breeds, the result of a sudden population expansion in the recent past. We also hypothesised that crossbreeding and population expansion left traces that shaped the genetic makeup of the breed. Evaluation of this was performed by mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) sequence analysis of Chinese Holstein cattle from Beijing (n = 41) and a comparison of them with the published mtDNA sequences (n = 293) of 14 Asian breeds with an emphasis on Chinese native cattle breeds. Three shared common haplotypes between Chinese Holstein cattle and native Asian cattle were found. Moreover, a high level of haplotype diversity in Chinese Holstein cattle (h = 0.9557) and low nucleotide diversity (${\pi}$ = 0.0052) was found, indicating a past population bottleneck followed by rapid population growth. These findings are supported by the significantly negative deviation of Tajima's D (-1.82085), the star-like pattern of dominant haplotypes and the pairwise mismatch distribution analysis, which showed a unimodal pattern.

A peroxidase (PD-cP; 0.47 mg/100 g leaves) was purified from autumn leaves of Phytolacca dioica L. and characterized. PD-cP was obtained by acid precipitation followed by gel-filtration and cation exchange chromatography. Amino acid composition and N-terminal sequence of PD-cP up to residue 15 were similar to that of Spinacia oleracea (N-terminal pairwise comparison showing four amino acid differences). PD-cP showed a molecular mass of approx. 36 kDa by SDS-PAGE, pH and temperature optima at 3.0 and $50.0^{\circ}C$, respectively and seasonal variation. The Michaelis-Menten constant ($K_M$) for $H_2O_2$ was 5.27 mM, and the velocity maximum ($V_{max}$) $1.31\;nmol\;min^{-1}$, while the enzyme turnover was $0.148\;s^{-1}$. Finally, the presence of $Ca^{2+}$ and $Mg^{2+}$ enhanced the PD-cP activity, with $Mg^{2+}$ 1.4-fold more effective than $Ca^{2+}$.

Prioritizing the design specifications among many alternatives is necessary at the stage of concept design. Design specifications have trade-offs between cost and performance, and the relationships among them, in the standpoint of various functional requirements, are complex. AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) method is one of the most popular ways of solving the priority setting problem. However, it is impossible to monitor the interim findings in the middle of the process, it is hard to predict the difference when changing pairwise comparison conditions, and the operation done by one person makes it hard to share the process simultaneously. This paper shows a new method of priority setting in this kind of decision making problem. This method is designed to support the realtime priority setting among many design specifications with regards to many functional requirements. A new algorithm and visualization methods are introduced, and the usability is verified in an exemplary concept design stage.

The objective of this research is to select the most effective technique among task related techniques(motion & time study, job redesign, physical environment improvement) for improving work efficiency in shipbuilding enterprise. This study consists of several principal steps. The first step is to design critical criteria in evaluating work efficiency in ship-building enterprises. The second step is to develop sub-criteria of the critical criteria. The third step is to develop a four level AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) structure using the critical criteria, sub-criteria and techniques among task related techniques. The fourth step is to develop the pairwise comparison matrix at each level of AHP structure, which was based on survey data collected at the H heavy industry. And the last step is to select the most effective technique among task related techniques using AHP analysis. The result of AHP analysis has shown clear difference in priority among task related techniques in terms of work efficiency of the shipbuilding enterprise: The reduction of normal time is more important than the reduction of allowance time in improving of the work efficiency. Motion & time study is the most important technique for the reduction of normal time, and physical environment improvement is the most important technique for the reduction of allowance time as well.

This paper aims to investigate the factors affecting the quality of rural labor in Vietnam, a case study in Thai Nguyen province. For this purpose, we establish an integrated framework of factors affecting the quality of rural labor. We use Fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (Fuzzy-AHP) to assess the weight of the criteria and sub-criteria of rural labor quality. This method introduced by Saaty (1987) is a useful tool to cope with the complexity of decision-making. The Fuzzy-AHP is one of the most common Multi-Criteria Decision-Making instruments for dealing with quantifiable and intangible criteria, which reflect the relative importance of the alternatives based on constructing a pairwise comparison matrix. The results show that the four most weighted factors are institutions, local government policies, technical qualifications, and mentality. In particular, the weight of the institution is the largest (0.2343), meaning that this factor is the most important one affecting the quality of rural labor in Thai Nguyen province. The weight of local government policy is close to that of institution, about 0.2259. The weights of technical qualification and mentality are 0.1238 and 0.1135, respectively. In addition, age and education levels do not significantly affect the rural labor quality of Thai Nguyen province.
