The number of chronosomes and karyotypes in eight species of the family Bradybaenidae were analyzed by air-drying method using gonad. The mitotic haploid chromosome numbers of Acusta despecta sieboldiana were 29 and conisisted of 12 pairs metacentric, 17 pairs submetacentric chromosomes. The mitotic haploid chromosomes were 29 and 11 pairs metacentric and 17 pairs submetacentric and 1 pair telocentric chromosomes in Koreanohadra kurodana; 29 and 10 pairs metacentric chromosomes in K. koreana' 29 and 10 pairs metacentric and 18 pairs submetacentric, and 1 pair acrocentric chromosomes in Karaftohelix adamsi; 28and 10 pairs metacentric, and 18 pairs submetacintric chromosomes in Aegista chosenica; 28 and 14 pairs metacentric and 14 pairs submetacentric chromosomes in A.(Plectotropis) diversa; 28 and 15 pairs metacentric, 10 pairs submetacentric and 3 pairs acrocentric chromosomes in A. (p.)quelpartinsis; 29 and 12 pairs metacentric and 9 pairs submetacentric and 2 pairs telocentric chromosomes in Nesiohelix samarangae.

The purpose of this study was to make a scale for measuring the subjective hand of fabrics. For this purpose subjective hand expressions which were published in the journals were reviewed. 11 pairs(9 biopolar-pairs, 2 unipolar-pairs) were selected after searching the definitions in a dictionary followed by focus group interview and survey. To find out if these terminological biopolar pairs are agreed with the biopolar pairs in human sensation, a survey of fabric hand was undertaken using a scale consisted of 20 words(18 words from biopolar-pairs, 2 words from unipolar pairs). Among 11 pairs, 10 pairs except [taktakhada-poksinhada] were accepted as biopolar pair of word terminologically and sensuously. [taktakhada-poksinhada] was recognized as a biopolar pair terminologically but not sensuously. These 20 words were classified as 5 factors-surface contour, density, flexibility, dampness, and extensibility

The chromosome numbers and the karyotypes of seven species in Unionidae are reported, using air drying in gonad. In seven species, the chromosome number of 38(2n) was counted. The mitotic chormosomes of A. arcaeformis flavotincta, A. woodiana and L. gottschei hd 7 pairs of metacentric and 12 pairs of submetacenrtic chromosomes, U. douglasiae had 6 pairs of metacentrics, 13 pairs of submetacentrics, U. douglasiae sinuolatus had 4 metacentric pairs and 15 submetacentric pairs, L. acrorhyncha had 5 metacentric pairs and 14 submetaacentric pairs, and S. triangularis had 5 mdtacenrtric pairs, 13 submetacentric pairs and 1 pair of subtelocentric chromosomes. The size of chromosomes of A. woodiana was the longest in length and L. gottschei was the shortest. The sexual difference of chromosomes was not observed.

Pairs trading is an arbitrage trading strategy using statistical properties of the spreads between two assets. This study analyzes the performance of the statistical pairs trading with the pairs selected from the same category as well as from the different category in the CME and other futures markets. Empirical results show that the pairs trading performance of the same category is poor whereas that of the different category proves profitable. This implies that the spreads between different category pairs can have the mean reversion property if pairs are properly selected using co-integration test, which is contrary to the existing research results on the overseas futures pairs trading.

A karyological study was carried out in order to compared the chromosome numbers, chromosome morphologies and karyotypes of the oriental liver fluke, Clonorchis sinensis (Trematoda: Opisthorchiidae), collected from Korea and China. Chromosome preparations were made by means of air-drying method. The chromosome number was 2n=56 in both Korean and Chinese flukes, and chromosomes were divided into two groups based on this size; consisting of 8 pairs of large and 20 pairs of small chromosomes. However, the karyotypes showed some differences between Korean and Chinese flukes. The karyotype of liver flukes from Korea consisted of three metacentric pairs, one meta-/submetacentric pair, 16 submetacentric pairs and eight subtelocentric pairs of chromosomes. On the other hand, liver flukes from China consisted of two metacentric pairs, two meta-/submetacentric pairs, 16 submetacentric pairs and eight subtelocentric pairs of chromosomes.

In this paper, we investigate the problem of secure communications in multiple-input-multiple-output interference networks from the perspective of physical layer security. Specifically, the legitimate transmitter-receiver pairs are divided into different categories of active and inactive. To enhance the security performances of active pairs, inactive pairs serve as cooperative jammers and broadcast artificial noises to interfere with the eavesdropper. Besides, active pairs improve their own security by using joint transceivers. The encoding of active pairs and inactive pairs are designed by maximizing the difference of mean-squared errors between active pairs and the eavesdropper. In detail, the transmit precoder matrices of active pairs and inactive pairs are solved according to game theory and linear programming respectively. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has fast convergence speed, and the security performances in different scenarios are effectively improved.

Objectives: Drug utilization review program in Korea has provided 'drug combinations to avoid (DCA)' alerts to physicians and pharmacists to prevent potential adverse drug events or inappropriate drug use. Seven hundred and six DCA pairs have been announced officially by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) by March, 2015. Some DCA pairs could be grouped based on the drug interaction mechanism and its consequences. This study aimed to investigate the drug-drug interaction (DDI) pairs, which may be potential DCAs, generated by the drug class-drug class interaction method. Methods: Eleven additive/synergistic and one antagonistic drug class-drug class interaction groups were identified. By combining drugs of two interacting drug class groups, numerous DDI pairs were made. The status and severity of DDI pairs were examined using Lexicomp and Micromedex. Also, the DCA listing rate was calculated. Results: Among 258 DDI pairs generated by the drug class-drug class interaction method, only 142 pairs were identified as official DCA pairs by the MFDS. One hundred and four pairs were identified as potential DCA pairs to be listed. QT prolonging agents-QT prolonging agents, triptans-ergot alkaloids, tricyclic antidepressants-monoamine oxidase inhibitors, and dopamine agonists-dopamine antagonists were identified as drug class-drug class interaction groups which have less than 50 % DCA listing rate. Conclusion: To improve the clinicians' adaptability to DCA alerts, the list of DCA pairs needs to be continuously updated.

If an arithmetic progression F of length 2n and the number k with 2k$\leq$n are give, can we find two monic polynomials with the same degrees whose set of all zeros form F such that both the number of bad pairs and the number of nonreal zeros are 2k? We will consider the case that both the number of bad pairs and the number of nonreal zeros are two. Moreover, we will see the fundamental relation between the number of bad pairs and the number of nonreal zeros, and we will show that the polynomial in x where the coefficient of x(sup)k is the number of sequences having 2k bad pairs has all zeros real and negative.

The Bailey lemma has been a powerful tool in the discovery of identities of Rogers-Ramanujan type and also ordinary and basic hyper-geometric series identities. The mechanism of Bailey lemma has also led to the concepts of Bailey pair and Bailey chain. In the present work certain new WP-Bailey pairs have been established. We also have deduced a number of basic hypergeometric series identities as an application of new WP-Bailey pairs.
