실란 및 분산제가 Epoxy와 연자성 금속 파우더 복합체의 Packing에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Silane and Dispersant on the Packing in the Composite of Epoxy and Soft Magnetic Metal Powder)

  • A molding-type power inductor is an inductor that uses a hybrid material that is prepared by mixing a ferrite metal powder coated with an insulating layer and an epoxy resin, which is injected into a coil-embedded mold and heated and cured. The fabrication of molding-type inductors requires various techniques such as for coil formation and insertion, improving the magnetic properties of soft magnetic metal powder, coating an insulating film on the magnetic powder surface, and increasing the packing density by well dispersing the powder in the epoxy resin. Among these aspects, researches on additives that can disperse the metal soft magnetic powder having the greatest performance in the epoxy resin with high charge have not been reported yet. In this study, we investigated the effect of silanes, KBM-303 and KBM-403, and a commercial dispersant on the dispersion of metal soft magnetic powders in epoxy resin. The sedimentation height and viscosity were measured, and it was confirmed that the silane KBM-303 was suitable for dispersion. For this silane, the packing density was as high as about 72.49%. Moreover, when 1.2 wt% of dispersant BYK-103 was added, the packing density was about 80.5%.

비골골절치료에서 기도 튜브 머로셀®의 유용성 (The Usefulness of Airway Tube Merocel® on Treatment of Nasal Bone Fracture)

  • Purpose: Nasal packing materials are almost inserted at the end stage of closed reduction of nasal bone for postoperative bleeding control and stabilization of nasal bone. Conventionally, vaseline gauze was used for packing of nasal cavity. These days, Surgeons have tried to apply $Merocel^{(R)}$ into the nasal cavity more easily. It is difficult for patients to continue keeping the nasal packs for more than a week due to breathing difficulty. Moreover, nasal packing itself can also cause headache, dry mouth, stuffiness, etc. Methods: We performed a prospective study from March 1, 2008 to July 31, 2008. One hundred patients were divided into "$Merocel^{(R)}$ packing group" and "$Merocel^{(R)}$ and Airway Tube $Merocel^{(R)}$ packing group". Using two kinds of materials to each group after closed reduction, we observed and compared the amount of bleeding between two groups. We recorded patient's uncomfortable symptoms which were divided into four groups each 6, 24, 48 hours after nasal packing. Results: The result of the bleeding amount of Air Tube $Merocel^{(R)}$ group after 6 hours of nasal packing is that 3 people belong to mild group, 38 people moderate group, and 9 people severe group. After 6 hours of nasal packing, 11 patients have no complains. 16 patients were mild, 21 patients were moderate, 2 patients were severe. After 24 hours of nasal packing, no complain(18 patients), mild(24 patients), moderate(6 patients), severe(0 patient). After 48 hours of nasal packing, no complain(25 patients), mild(20 patients), moderate(5 patients), severe(0 patient). Conclusion: Regarding the amount of bleeding, there are no difference between two groups. In case of Air Tube $Merocel^{(R)}$ group, patient's discomfort is gradually improved after 24 hours of nasal packing, After 48 hours of nasal packing, most of the patients do not experience headache, dry mouth, stuffiness, etc. Therefore, Air Tube $Merocel^{(R)}$ can be useful for bleeding control. Moreover, it helps patients to breathe through nose more easily and reduce discomfort.

사출성형공정에서 금형에 전달되는 진동 신호 측정을 이용한 성형 단계별 공정시간과 공정특성의 모니터링에 대한 연구 (A study on monitoring for process time and process properties by measuring vibration signals transmitted to the mold during injection molding)

  • In this study, the vibration signal of the mold was measured and analyzed to monitoring the process time and characteristics during injection molding. A 5 inch light guide plate mold was used to injection molding and the vibration signal was measured by MPU6050 acceleration sensor module attached the surface of fixed mold base. Conditions except for injection speed and packing pressure were set to the same value and the change of the vibration signal of the mold according to injection speed and packing pressure was analyzed. As a result, the vibration signal had a large change at three points: "Injection start", "V/P switchover", and "Packing end". The time difference between "injection start" and "V/P switchover" means the injection time in the injection molding process, and the time difference between "V/P switchover" and "Packing end" means the packing time. When the injection time and packing time obtained from the vibration signal of the mold are compared with the time recorded in the injection molding machine, the error of the injection time was 2.19±0.69% and the error of the packing time was 1.39±0.83%, which was the same level as the actual value. Additionally, the amplitude at the time of "injection start" increased as the injection speed increased. In "V/P switchover", the amplitude tended to be proportional to the pressure difference between the maximum injection pressure and the packing pressure and the amplitude at the "packing end" tended to the pressure difference between the packing pressure and the back pressure. Therefore, based on the result of this study, the injection time and packing time of each cycle can be monitored by measuring the vibration signal of the mold. Also, it was confirmed that the level and trend of process variables such as the injection speed, maximum injection pressure, and packing pressure can be evaluated as the change of the mold vibration during injection molding.

함진기체의 배출에 미치는 금망 충진물의 영향 (Effects of Screen Packing Materials an Gas Discharge Dust Containing)

  • This work was carried out to investigate the effects of solid mass flow rate, mean particle diameter and mesh number of screen packing material on minimum carrying velocity, which defined as the superficial gas velocity of the upper limit of chocking phenomenon. Vertical pneumatic conveying was studied on a 4.6cm 1. D. pipe, 180cm in length. Experiments were performed in both the empty and the screen-packed pipe. It was also examined the effect of superficial gas velocity, solid mass flow, mean particle diameter, and mesh number of packing material on pressure drop. Minimum carrying velocity in screen packed-pipe was lower than that in an empty pipe. besides minimum carrying velocity was decreased with increase in mesh number of screen packing material. The pressure drop In vortical packed-pipe was Increased with superficial gas velocity, mean particle diameter, and mesh number of screen packing material.

고농도 탄산가스 충전에 의한 식품 해충 방제: 거짓쌀도둑거저리와 화랑곡나방의 살충효과에 미치는 노출시간과 식품포장 재질의 영향 (Control of Food Pests by $CO_{2}$ Modified Atmosphere: Effects of Packing Materials and Exposure Time on the Mortality of Tribolium castaneum and Plodia interpunctella)

  • 고농도 탄산가스 충전을 통한 식품 해충 방제에서 식품 포장재질과 노출시간이 화랑곡나방과 거짓쌀도둑거저리의 사망률에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 사용된 식품포장 재질은 3겹크라프트지(KKK), 2겹 크라프트-1겹 라미네이트 코팅지(KLK), 2겹크라프트-1겹 HD 코팅지였다(KHK). 탄산가스 농도가 85% 로 충전된 실험구(직경 1.2 m)에 투입 하루 후각 재질의 봉투($9.8{\times}9.8cm$) 내 탄산가스 농도는 KKK($26.67{\pm}0.58%$)에서 다른 재질 봉투에 비해 유의하게 높았다. 화랑곡나방과 거짓쌀도둑거저리의 사망률은 KKK 재질의 봉투에서 다른 재질에 비해 유의하게 높았다. 실제 식품보관 창고($9{\times}4{\times}3m$)에서 대형 포대(20 kg)를 대상으로 한 실험에서도 유사한 결과를 얻었다. 포장재질의 영향은 화랑곡나방 보다 내성이 강한 거짓쌀도둑거저리에서 두드러졌다. 화랑곡나방과 거짓쌀도둑거저리의 사충률은 누적 농도시간 (${\int}_{0}^{t}c{\times}tdc{\approx}{\sum}$농도${\times}$시간)에 회귀하였다. 이 결과를 토대로 탄산가스 충전에 의한 방제효과를 식품포장 재질, 식품의 종류, 누적농도시간과 연관하여 고찰하였다.

열가소성 엘라스토머 패킹의 열융착 해석 (Analysis on Hot Plate Welding of Thermoplastic Elastomer Packing)

  • Airtight containers have been widely used in many industries and household. They need a packing for sealing between the inside and outside. Previous packing materials have some drawbacks like stench, stickiness, and difficulty of applying to automated manufacturing systems. So, a new packing material which is harmless and suitable for automation is needed. This study performed a hot plate welding process of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) as the packing material. The hot plate welding process included a phase change process of solidification and melting. The porosity-enthalpy method was adopted in order to simulate phase change problems. The TPE showed non-Newtonian fluid characteristics during the melting process. Since properties of SEBS are not well-defined, we established TPE properties by observing the melting behavior of TPE. In order to find an optimized condition, a parametric study including packing thickness, shapes, hot plate temperature, and thermal resistance, was conducted.

  • Most of countries differ from their favors, in Taiwan fruit juice and sweet taste are emphasized while external appearance in Japan. During transportation, movement of the container, fluctuation of temperature, decrease of the fruit freshness and undesirable packing materials tend to decline fruit marketability. For these problems, it is believed that shortening of boarding time by utilization of plate and styro form box for packing, the author believed.

Effect of surface treatments on shear bond strength of resin composite bonded to CAD/CAM resin-ceramic hybrid materials

  • PURPOSE. The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of surface treatments on shear bond strength of resin composite bonded to thermocycled and non-thermocycled CAD/CAM resin-ceramic hybrid materials. MATERIALS AND METHODS. 120 specimens ($10{\times}10{\times}2mm$) from each material were divided into 12 groups according to different surface treatments in combination with thermal aging procedures. Surface treatment methods were airborne-particle abrasion (abraded with 50 micron alumina particles), dry grinding (grinded with $125{\mu}m$ grain size bur), and hydrofluoric acid (9%) and silane application. According to the thermocycling procedure, the groups were assigned as non-thermocycled, thermocycled after packing composites, and thermocycled before packing composites. The average surface roughness of the non-thermocycled specimens were measured after surface treatments. After packing composites and thermocycling procedures, shear bond strength (SBS) of the specimens were tested. The results of surface roughness were statistically analyzed by 2-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and SBS results were statistically analyzed by 3-way ANOVA. RESULTS. Surface roughness of GC were significantly lower than that of LU and VE (P<.05). The highest surface roughness was observed for dry grinding group, followed by airborne particle abraded group (P<.05). Comparing the materials within the same surface treatment method revealed that untreated surfaces generally showed lower SBS values. The values of untreated LU specimens showed significantly different SBS values compared to those of other surface treatment groups (P<.05). CONCLUSION. SBS was affected by surface treatments. Thermocycling did not have any effect on the SBS of the materials except acid and silane applied GC specimens, which were subjected to thermocycling before packing of the composite resin.

동결정액 포장방법이 돼지정액의 성상 및 번식성적에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Packing Materials of Frozen Boar Semen on Sperm Characteristics and Reproductive Performance)

  • 본 연구는 돼지에서 동결정액을 이용한 번식능력을 개선하기 위한 동결정액 포장재료의 효과를 구명하기 위하여 실시하였다. 본 시험에는 축산기술연구소 종축개량부 (충남, 성환)의 인공수정센터에서 사육중인 종모돈이 사용되었다. 기존의 돼지 동결정액 포장방법인 maxi-straw 동결정액 포장방법과 5$m\ell$빈 cryogenic-vial 및 aluminum-pack 포장방법을 비교한 결과 cryogenic-vial로 포장하여 액체질소 상단 15cm에서 동결한 후 52$^{\circ}C$ water bath에서 190초 융해한 방법이 기존의 maxi-straw 방법과 비슷한 결과를 나타내었다. Cyogenic-vial 포장방법의 동결-응해 방법을 설정하기 위하여 융해시간을 달리하여 시험한 결과 액체질소 상단 15cm에서 동결하고 52$^{\circ}C$에서 190초 간 융해하였을 때 정자운동성이 120초 및 150초 응해시 보다 우수하였다 (P<0.05). 그러나 정상첨체비율은 응해시간 간에 차이가 없었다. 52$^{\circ}C$에서 45초간 응해 한 maxi-straw 포장방법과 52$^{\circ}C$에서 190초 융해한 cryogenic-vial 포장방법간에 정액성상을 비교한 결과 총정자운동성과 정자의 빠르기는 maxi-straw가 우수하였다 (P<0.05). 그러나 직진성과 정상첨체비율은 두 포장방법간에 차이가 없었다. 동결정액 포장방법별 인공수정시 번식성적은 maxi-straw 동결정액이 cryogenic-vial 동결정 액보다 수태율, 분만율, 그리고 산자수가 높았으나 통계적 유의차는 인정되지 않았다. 이상의 결과를 종합해 보면 cryogenic-vial 포장 방법의 동결 및 음해방법을 좀 더 연구개발하면 기존의 maxi-straw포장방법을 대체하여 실용화 할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

기능성 포장재가 백합과 장미의 선도유지에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Functional Packing Materials on the Maintenance of Freshness of Cut Lily and Cut Rose)

  • 칼슘 및 왁스 코팅 포장재 처리가 절화백합과 장미의 절화수명 및 품질에 미치는 효과를 연구하였다. 공시재료는 Lilium Oriental hybrid 'Le Reve'와 Rosa hybrida 'Fire King'를 사용하였으며, 25% 칼슘 및 36% 왁스 코팅 포장재 처리구에 포장 후 $5^{\circ}C$$20^{\circ}C$ 저장고에 48시간동안 저장하였다. 절화 백합의 'Le Reve' 경우 36% 왁스 코팅 포장재 처리구에 포장 후 $5^{\circ}C$ 저장시 상품의 수명은 대조구에 비해 2일정도 증가되었다. 그러나 절화 장미 'Fire King'의 경우는 절화의 선도유지나 수명에는 효과가 크게 나타나지 않았다. 그러므로 절화 백합의 경우에는 상품의 수확 후 기능성 포장재가 저장성 및 선도유지에 유용함을 알 수 있었다
