패키지 딜 방식의 해외 에너지자원 획득에 관한 플랜트EPC기업참여 촉진방안연구 (Promoting Policy to Involve Plant EPC Companies for Package Deal to Acquisite Overseas Energy Resources)

  • Promoting policy to involve plant EPC companies for package deal has been studied to acquire overseas energy resources. The effectiveness of the package deal with the plant EPC companies has not been successful because the participation of the plant EPC companies is very rare. It is difficult for the plant EPC companies to join the package deal due to the lack of the fully responsible organization to support the plant EPC companies participating in a package deal. The followings are suggested as the ways to promote the participation of the plant EPC companies for package deal in this study; 1) financial support of the government for plant EPC companies 2) political support of the government for plant EPC companies 3) specialization of the advanced countries for public-private cooperation.

  • The public-private cooperation in package deal has been studied for the overseas energy resources acquisition. The effectiveness of the package deal has not been successful because the deal has led by the government organizations. It is difficult for the plant EPC companies to join the packaged deal due to the lack of the whole responsibility organization to support the participation of the package deal. The followings are suggested as the ways to strengthen of the public-private cooperation in this study. 1) the relevant public enterprise privatization 2) establishment of the joint model for leading the plant EPC companies to the package deal 3) establishment of the whole responsibility organization for the public-private cooperation.

  • 본 연구에서는 국가별 석탄의 수요와 공급과 전력산업에 대한 통계자료를 분석하여 향 후 석탄과 전력산업의 패키지형 진출을 위해 적합한 대상 국가를 제시하고자 하였다. 패키지형 자원 개발의 대상 국가를 선정하는데 있어 중요한 기준이 될 수 있는 사항들은 해당 국가의 석탄 매장량, 매장된 석탄의 종류, 1인당 전력 소비 규모, 1인당 국민생산량 등이다. 이러한 기준을 만족시키는 국가들은 대부분 방글라데시, 몽고, 나이지리아 등 아시아나 아프리카에 분포하는 저개발 국가들이다.

  • Necessity to install control towers has been studied to acquire overseas energy resources and to secure funds. At present, domestic energy companies do business independently. Institutions which support plant EPC companies as partners of package deal are separated. This causes the low records at package deal for overseas resources acquisition. Except UK and USA, nations which have major companies developed overseas energy resources early by promoting a large national company. Consequently, they currently have good records. This study suggests the necessities to install integrated control tower for overseas energy resources acquisition and securing funds and the following are the ways ; 1) promote a large national company by consolidation of separate energy companies, 2) install plant EPC promotion department which support private plant EPC companies, 3) make a integrated control tower in high level government office to connect between a large national company and plant EPC promotion department.

  • CEMTool is a command style design and analyzing package for scientific and technological algorithm and a matrix based computation language. In this paper, we present new FEM (Finite Element Method) package in CEMTool environment. In contrast to the existing MATLAB PDE Toolbox, our proposed FEM package can deal with the combination of the reserved words. Also, we can control the mesh in a very effective way With the introduction of new mesh generation algorithm and NDM (Hosted Dissection Method), our FEM package can guarantee the shorter computational time than MATLAB PDE Toolbox. In addition, using the advanced electromagnetics library of CEMTool FEM package, we can analyze the practical problems such as the motor field analysis. Consequently, with our new FEM package, we can overcome some disadvantages of the existing MATLAB PDE Toolbox.

  • High-resolution satellite image processing software should be able to ensure accurate, fast, compact data processing in offline or online environment. In this paper, component software for high-resolution satellite image processing is developed using OpenGIS components and real-time data processing architecture. The developed component software is composed of three major packages, which are data provide package, user interface package, and fast data processing package. The data provider package encodes and decodes diverse image/vector data formats and give identical data access methods to developers. The user interface package supports menus, toolbars, dialogs, and events to use easier. The fast data processing package follows the OpenGIS's data processing standards, which can deal with several processors as components with standard procedural functionalities.

  • Finite element method (FEM) has been widely used as a useful numerical method that can analyze complex engineering problems in electro-magnetics, mechanics, and others. CEMTool, which is similar to MATLAR, is a command style design and analyzing package for scientific and technological algorithm and a matrix based computation language. In this paper, we present new 3D FEM package in CEMTool environment. In contrast to the existing CEMTool 2D FEM package and MATLAB PDE (Partial Differential Equation) Toolbox, our proposed 3D FEM package can deal with complex 3D models, not a cross-section of 3D models. Consequently, with our new 3D FEM toolbox, we can analyze more diverse engineering Problems which the existing CEMTool 2D FEM package or MATLAB PDE Toolbox can not solve.

CEMTool, which is similar to MATLAB, is a command style design and analyzing package for scientific and technological algorithm and a matrix based computation language. In this paper, we present new 3D FEM package in CEMTool environment. In contrast to the existing CEMTool 2D FEM package and MATLAB PDE (Partial Differential Equation) Toolbox, our proposed 3D FEM package can deal with complex 3D models, not a cross-section of 3D models. In the pre-processor of 3D FEM package, a new 3D mesh generating algorithm can make information on 3D Delaunay tetrahedral mesh elements for analyses of 3D FEM problems. The solver of the 3D FEM package offers three methods for solving the linear algebraic matrix equation, i.e., Gauss-Jordan elimination solver, Band solver, and Skyline solver. The post-processor visualizes the results for 3D FEM problems such as the deformed position and the stress. Consequently, with our new 3D FEM toolbox, we can analyze more diverse engineering problems which the existing CEMTool 2D FEM package or MATLAB PDE Toolbox can not solve.
