Normally if sunlight is directed on a solar cell without any increasing in temperature, the amount of absorption energy per unit area of each cell is increasing. In a silicon solar cell. however, cell conversion efficiency decreases with the increase of temperature. Therefore, to maintain cell conversion efficiency under normal condition, it is necessary to keep the cell at operating temperature. We tried to design and make new hybrid panel with cooling system to prevent increasing of temperature on cell, collect and use thermal energy more effectively. We compared performance of this new hybrid panel with current thermal panel. We also evaluated conversion efficiency, thermal capacity and confirmed cooling effects from thermal absorption efficiency.
To chase maximum power point at every moment under a conventional MPPT control method, a voltage and current coming out from PV-cell are needed to be feedbacked. So, the structure of control circuit becomes so complex and the MPPT control is in risk of control failure. In the newly developed control method, the current flowing into SPE cell is the only one considerable factor. So, the structure of control circuit becomes simple and the manufacturing cost of the control device decreases. Especially, in case of a huge system of PV-SPE system, because the voltage coming out from PV-cell is not needed to be feed backed, this system can be operated much more safely. In this paper, the PV-SPE system was actually manufactured based on the simulation model of PSCAD/EMTDC program and the results tested were shown. Authors are sure that it is the most useful method to maximize power from PV to SPE with only a feedback of SPE input current.

In this paper, We have simulated the output variation of the PV arrays installation with position & angle change. The existing 3 solar array system are $43^{\circ}$ southeast and each of the mounting angle is $17^{\circ}$. The PV output power is 240 kW. The composite studied systems in this paper arrays altered 2 PV array among 3 PV array system- the output 144kW. We simulated this system using Solar Pro ver.4.1. The simulation conditions are southwest $43^{\circ}/array$, mount angle $27^{\circ}/array$. Because the southeast have shadow effect-higher mountain The purpose of southwest $43^{\circ}$ is reduce the shadow effect. The simulation results of the suggestion design algorithm compared to 1,590 kWh/year output is increased with the southeast.

This paper describes a circuit based simulation model for a Photovoltaic(PV) cell in order to estimate the electrical behavior of the solar cell module with changes of environmental parameters such as shunt resistance, series resistance, temperature and irradiance. An accurate I-V model of PV module is presented based on the Shockley diode model. The general model was implemented on Matlab scrip file, and used irradiance and temperature as variables and outputs of the I-V characteristic. A typical PV module was used for the evaluation, and results was compared with reference taken directly from the manufacturer's published curves leading to excellent agrement with the theoretical prediction.

In this paper, we analyze the electrical characteristics of PV depending on distance among solar cells before and after lamination process. From the result, the PV module's maximum power increases about 3.37% when solar cells's distance is 10mm. And the maximum power increases up to 8.42% when solar cells's maximum distance is 50mm. It is assumed that PV module's surface temperature decreases because of increasing distance between solar cells that would give high power generation. Also, short distance between solar cell and frame result in contamination on glass. When considering reduced maximum power caused by contaminant, from that, we can fabricated PV module of lower cost with high performance.
Physiological and morphological characteristics of Anabaena azollae cells immobilized in a synthetic polymer, polyvinyl(PV), were investigated. The cell density of the non-immersed PV foam reached 4.4mg Chl/g dry wt. PV foam. This is 8 times higher than that of PV-immobiliz action in immersed batch system. And MSX-induced ammonia productivity and the photosynthectic oxygen evolution activity are higher than that of free cells after short-term dark storage. Nitrogenase activity and thermostability of photosynthetic activity are also higher than that of free Anabaena cells after immobilization. Total hydrogen production reached to 1.6ml $H_2$ per reactor (total 4mg Chl) after 6 days.

Generally, photovoltaic modules consist of glass, EVA, Solar Cell, back sheet and ribbon. But EVA, solar cell, ribbon affect electric output with temperature. EVA is a change in the transmittance of light from the sun. In addition, the solar cell output is decreased with temperature and the ribbon increases resistance. Transmittance and reflectance of glass and EVA were measured. In this paper, the characteristics of the components of PV module as EVA and Glass, ribbon were studied by variable temperature. effects on material properties investigated. As a result, glass is independent in temperature variation. EVA was the reduction 1~4% in transmittance. Solar cell decrease 0.469[%/$^{\circ}C$] in electric output by temperature variation. Other factors was controlled in solar cell..

PV power generation, which directly converts solar radiation into electricity, contains numerous significant advantages. It is inexhaustible and pollution-free, silent, contains no rotating parts, and has size-independent electricity conversion efficiency. The positive environmental effect of photovoltaics is that it replaces the more polluting methods of electricity generation or that it provides electricity where none was available before. This paper highlights a novel simple method to abstract the entire parameters of the solar cell. In development, design and operation of PV power generation systems, a technique for constructing V-I curves under different levels of solar irradiance and cell temperature conditions using basic characteristic values of the PV module is required. Everyone who has performed manual acquisition and analysis of solar cell I versus V data would agree that the job is tedious and time-consuming. A better alternative is to use an automated curve tracer to print out the I versus V curves and compute the four major parameters; $V_{oc}$, $I_{sc}$, FF, and . Generally, the V-I curve tracer indicates only the commonly used solar cell parameters. However, with the conventional V-I curve tracer it is almost impossible to abstract the more detailed parameters of the solar cell; A, $R_{s}$ and $R_{sh}$ , which satisfies the user, who aims at the analysis of the development of the PV power generation system, that being advanced simulation. In this paper, the proposed method provides us with satisfactory results to enable us to abstract the detailed parameters of the solar cell; A, $R_s$ and $R_{sh}$.>.

Photovoltaic(PV) array, which is generally installed outside, has the possibility to be damaged by high voltage due to lightning. Because the surge characteristics of PV array have not b eon fully Identified yet, there is a very important issue whether PV array should be connected with ground or not. In this paper, a basic model of PV array is provided considering the PV cell's barrier capacitance and ground capacitance for analysis of surge characteristics.

As the cost of photovoltaic(PV) generation systems continues to decrease, utility interactive systems are becoming more economically viable. Furthermore, increases in consumer awareness correspond to a willingness to pay a premium price for clean electrical energy generated using renewable energy resources. Especially, PV generation systems, in particular, is undergoing a rapid expansion-showing an industrial growth of approximately 40$\%$ per year in the worldwide, as PV cell and systems technology improve new markets become increasingly accessible. This has resulted in an increased demand for the simulation scheme and operational technologies of utility interactive PV devices and systems. The simulation schemes that can be applied to the utility interactive PV generation systems readily and cheaply under various conditions considering the sort of solar cell, the capacity of systems and the converter system as well are strongly expected and emphasized among researchers. So far, authors have been introducing the simulation method of PV generation systems with several papers. In this paper, authors introduce the simulation way of PV generation systems using EMTP type simulators; EMTP/ATP, EMTDC/PSCAD, RTDS, with each examples. And, by connecting the voltage amplifier to the RTDS a novel simulation method which is extremely close to the real condition of PV generation system is also introduced.
