Since elementary school is a time in which basic concepts like attitudes and mindsets about careers are formed, career education is very important to elementary school students. This study was conducted to investigate the effects of a gardening program applying the academic disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, and Society (STEAMS) on developing career education for elementary school students. In order to determine the effectiveness of the program on career development of elementary school students, this study was conducted with 28 upper elementary students in the experimental group who participated in the gardening program, and 30 upper elementary students in the control group who did not. The program was comprised of total 8 sessions, one session per week, with various garden activities. The career development scores of the two groups before and after the program were comparatively analyzed. Before the program, the experimental group had significantly lower scores for career development than the control group. After 8 weeks of the program, the control group did not show any changes in career development, while the experimental group that participated in the program showed a significant increase in career development, resulting in no difference in career development between the two groups after the program. Therefore, the program has positive effects on improving career development of upper elementary students who previously had insufficient career development. Overall, the program had positive effects on career development of upper elementary students, and further research is needed to systematically promote the STEAMS-based gardening program to promote interest and understanding of students by associating plant-based gardening activities with various subjects such as science, art, and social studies.

This paper examines the extent to which the Mekong River Basin countries have achieved socioeconomic benefits based on regional cooperation through the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Program, focusing on hydropower development and the Mekong Power Grid. This study pays attention to the time period from 2012 to 2022. The benefit sharing approach is employed to evaluate the extent to which hydropower development and the Mekong Power Grid have contributed to the regional energy trade in the GMS program. The GMS program was launched by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in 1992, and the Chinese provinces of Yunnan and Guangxi, Myanmar, Lao PDR, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam have taken an active part in the program. The goals of the GMS program are to achieve poverty alleviation, economic development, and regional cooperation in various sectors, including energy, tourism, and transportation. The GMS Economic Cooperation Program Strategic Framework 2030 (GMS-2030), in 2021, provides a new framework for prosperous and sustainable development in the river basin. In the energy sector, the GMS program has been instrumental in facilitating hydropower development and creating the Mekong Power Grid with the Regional Grid Code (RGC), contributing to economic benefits and promoting regional trade of hydroelectricity. It is argued that the GMS program has enhanced regional cooperation between the riparian countries. Despite such achievements, the GMS program has faced challenges, including the gap of economic development between the riparian countries, socioeconomic and environmental concerns regarding hydropower development between the Upper and Lower Mekong countries, and geopolitical tensions from the US-China rivalry. These challenges should adequately be addressed within the program, which can guarantee the sustainability of the program for the river basin.

This study is to verify the development process and effectiveness of a learning strategy program for junior college students. The necessity and feasibility of learning strategy programs for junior college students were confirmed and reviewed through prior studies, and the program development process was divided into four stages: program planning, program development, program execution, and program evaluation, and integrated into program development management. In the first stage of program planning, the development direction, goals and objectives were set. In the second stage of program development, prior research analysis, content selection, program organization, and evaluation plan were conducted. In the third stage of execution, the program was executed, and in the fourth stage of evaluation, program evaluation was conducted to develop the program. In order to verify the effectiveness of the program, the test was conducted using the learning strategy diagnostic scale for junior college students to collect data, and the effectiveness was verified for the pre-, post-, and post-test scores.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the program development process of a nonformal environmental education(EE) program in detail. For the purpose, following research questions were answered in "the Nature School in the Forest" program in Eco-Club 1) What is the program development process? 2) What is the role of staffs, program developers, in the program development process? What are the meanings of their pedagogical approach? 3) With the findings of this study, how is the researcher able to develop ground theory for community-based nonformal EE, and to promote theoretical discussion for field improvement? The data were mainly gathered through participation observation and unstructured interview. And the data were analyzed by qualitative techniques such as clustering, factoring, noting pattern and themes, seeing plausibility, making metaphors, and building logical chain of evidence. The following conclusion comes out of the findings of this study. "The Nature School in the Forest" program is a educational device which the community-based NGO chose as a strategy to change individuals and community with its ideological purpose. And the program development process was the contiuous group decision-making process among staffs and volunteers. Consequently "the Nature School in the Forest" program is a circulated process of the voluntary activists training and their participation in program operation.
The purpose of this study is to develop an in-service teacher training program for professional development in environmental education. In order to achieve the goal, the in- service teacher training program for professional development in environmental education development / implement team is formed to deal with the development and the implementation of the program. The team is composed of environmental education professionals and environmental education teachers. After the development of the program, 20 teachers were selected to implement the program. Then, through various researches such as interview, monitoring, and survey, the evaluation of the program was done. After the evaluation, the feedback on the program was collected in order to apply the final adjustments and changes to the developed training program for professional development in environmental education. The training program is designed to include the wide range of theories and real life cases. It focuses on certain topic, and is implemented through workshop type training method to increase the participation rate. The major motive of the participants was to develop their professionality in environmental education. Based on the analysis of the training program and the workshop, 69.1% of the program is focused on the environmental education/learning theory, and 71.4% is focused on the environmental education teaching method. The environmental education teaching method is focused on the real life teaching method that could be used in many schools. However, the parts on environmental education philosophy, psychology, and evaluation was not included as a part of the program. Also, the evaluation method of the students learning the environmental education was not introduced as a part of the program as well. It is due to the limited time frame of the training program, as well as its focus on the training method of environmental program. Based on the analysis of the evaluation results obtained through monitoring, the training program for professional development in environmental education is successful in terms of focusing the goal of the program around the environmental education/learning theory and environmental education teaching method, which was the motive of the participants. However, the effectiveness of the program differed from participants to participants based on their majors in environmental education, and it did not last long enough. The future training program for professional development in environmental education should consider the backgrounds of the program participants to have various programs prepared for various groups of people. We suggest that the results of this developed program will be applied to "environmental education teacher licence training" in the future.
The purpose of this study is to provide the contents and effective methods of educational program for human resource development focused on the full-time housewives. For this purpose the case interviewed with 24 professionals and management leaders of women education field are performed and 445 questionares from full time housewives who participate in at least one education program are analyzed. The findings of this study are followed. 1. The most preferred programs are sports/health program(28.8%), leisure program(26.5%), household income management program(15.9%), culture/arts program(15.2%) in percentage order. And the first preferred motivation of participation in the programs is the self development(38.4%). 2. The positive effect of program is founded more with participants in family oriented program and society oriented program than in individual oriented program. And the satisfaction degree of participants in family oriented program is higher than in individual/society oriented program. 3. The degree of demands for Program management and program characteristics is higher than the demands for program installations and program supplying methods. 4. In the area of effectiveness methods the demands for program systematization according to program level are most referred.
One of the most important issues faced by manager of food industry is the lack of management development program. This study on the management development program was to take a look at the training problem for the food industry of Korea through secondary data or literature, and with conceptual framework designed based on the literature review, examined what is effective management development program for manager in food industry. The purposes of this study are : (1) Identifying the factor to management development program. (2) Provision of a executive management development program. The conclusion and suggestion obtained from this study can be summarized as followed. First, it has shown that there is big difference between the present training level and future training need level on three training contents. Second, there were differences in three training contents especially according to operation type and organization size. Third, job satisfaction factor, training satisfaction factor, training aid factor, training effectiveness factor has correlated each other. From this study, we could get several strategies and programs for management development.

Purpose: This study was designed to develop a computerized program for patient classification and record of basic nursing care. Method: The study was carried out from February to May 2004 at the four general wards in A university hospital using three steps; investigation of needs for program development, program design and development, and program application and evaluation. Result: Results of this study showed that users were mostly satisfied with the program and set a high value on the usefulness and performance of this program. Accordingly it was found that this program could be of help to assist nurses in classifying the patients and taking records of their nursing service. Conclusion: The program is likely to contribute to enhance the efficiency in providing appropriate and effective nursing service to the patients by easily identifying the overall particulars of patients and improving repeated manual works. And Record of basic nursing care is a part of several nursing records. As such the continual development on the computerized program for various fields of nursing service is needed.
The purpose of this study is to plan out a university students' self-development program and to verify the effect of the students in adapting themselves to college life and coping with stress from it. The program was developed as the liberal arts course for a semester and comprised 12 sessions. Each secession of a 150 minutes workshop program. The pre-test, post test regarding students adaptation to college and stress coping methods conducts upon each experimental group and each control group. Each group consisted of 50 subjects. As a result of this research, this study could come to the following conclusions. Firstly, it was found that the university students' self-development program has effect on improving students adaptation to college. Secondly, it was found that the university students' self-development program has effect on improving stress coping methods.
