수영의 항돌연변이 활성 및 세포독성 (Antimutagenic Activity and Cytotoxicity of the Whole Plant of Rumex acetosa)

  • The extract and fractions of Rumex acetosa (Polygonaceae), a Korean medicinal plant, were examined for their cytotoxicities against five cultured human tumor cell lines, i.e. A549 (non-small cell lung), SK-OV-3 (ovary), SK-MEL-2 (melanoma), XF498 (central nerve system) and HCY15 (colon), using the SRB (sulforhodamine-B) method in vitro and antimutagenic activities by Ames test with Salmonella typhimurium TA98 and TA100 and SOS chromotest with E. coli PQ37. Among the tested samples, the methylene chloride fraction strongly inhibited the proliferation of each examined tumor cell line with $IC_{50}$ values ranged from 13.2 to $18.7\;{\mu}g/ml$ and showed potent antimutagenic activities with 96.1% and 96.7% at the concentration of 1 mg/plate against the mutagens, NPD and sodium azide, respectively. Its antigenotoxic activity was also very effective at the final concentration of $10\;{\mu}g/reaction$ tube against the mutagens, MNNG and NQO by SOS chromotest.

Inhibitory Effect of Kochujang Extracts on Chemically Induced Mutagenesis

  • Antimutagenic effects of 5 kinds of kochujang(Korean red pepper soybean paste) samples compared with doenjang(Korean soy paste) were studied using the Ames test with Salmonella typhimurium TA100 and the SOS chromotest, with E. Coli PQ37. Th eantimutatenic effects of methanol extracts from red pepper powder and meju(fermented soybean) powder, the major ingredients of the kochujang,were also evaluated for the mutagenicity of aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) in the Ames assay. The methanol extracts from the kochujang samples showed lower antimutagenicities than those of doenjang against AFB1 and N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine (MNNG) in the Ames assay. Traditional kochujang I and II exhibited strong antimutagenic activity against AFB1 and MNNG. The traditional kochujang samples against MNNG were aslo observed in the SOS chromotest system with the same fashions as shown in the Ames mutagenicity test. The methanol extracts from meju powder had the strongest inhibitory effects on mutabenicity induced by AFB1, however, those form red pepper powder showed lower inhibition rate than kochujang. These results suggest that traditional kochujang exhibit higher antimutagenic acitivity than the commercial variety, and that meju powder seems to be one of the major antimutagenic components in kochujang.

동적전압보상기의 전압제어를 위한 PLL 방식의 개선 (Improvement of PLL Method for Voltage Control of Dynamic Voltage Restorer)

  • Dynamic voltage restorer(DVR) is now more preferable enhancement than other power quality enhancement in industry to reduce the impact of voltage faults, especially voltage sags to sensitive loads. The main controllers for DVR consists of PLL(phase locked loop), compensation voltage calculator and voltage compensator. PLL detects the voltage faults and phase. Compensation voltage calculator calculates the reference voltage from the source voltage and phase. With calculated compensation voltage from PLL, voltage compensator restores the source voltage. If PLL detect ideal phase, compensation voltage calculator calculates ideal compensation voltage. Therefore, PLL for DVR is very important. This paper proposes the new method of PLL in DVR. First, the power circuit of DVR system is analyzed in order to compensate the voltage sags. Based on the analysis, new PLL for improving transient response of DVR is proposed. The proposed method uses band rejection filter(BRF) at q-axis in synchronous flame. In order to calculate compensation voltage in commercial instruments, the PQR theory is used. Proposed PLL method is demonstrated through simulation using Matlab-Simulink and experiment, and by checking load voltage, confirms operation of the DVR

  • This paper described the estimator and eliminator far three kinds of artifacts in electrocardiogram. The most efficient estimation of baseline drift could be obtain in the cubic spline interpolation method with the PQ and TP segment which are considered to be isoelectric, from the experimental results obtained from the applied 4 types of algorithms. The time loss and distortion could be avoided with the aid of detection criteria by checking if baseline drifts exist or not. The AIEF proposed in this paper was verified as having the best removal performance with less distortion in the QRS complex through the comparison of 5 proposed algorithms. furthermore, the AIEF are most suitable far the ECG analyzer which was only needed relatively short time data due to the fast conversion into the stable state. The proposed parabolic filter with 11 points width was identified as having the best performance for the elimination of muscle artifacts. Also we could obtain 99.7% detection accuracy of spike component and minimize the error identifying QRS complex as spike.

장수명 주택 관계자별 인센티브 부여 방향 설정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Establishment of the Directions of Granting Incentives by Long-life Housing-related parties)

  • Long-life housing means a housing which structural members (Support) such as columns and floor are maintained for a long period of time and the housing can be used for approximately 100 years by replacing components (Infill) such as walls and furniture. The government established "Certification standards of long-life housing construction" on December 24, 2014, requiring the long-life housing certification for construction of apartment houses for over 1,000 households. However, it is necessary to prepare an incentive measure which could be granted to construction related personnel and housing owners due to the effectiveness of such system and recognition that the initial construction cost of long-life housing is high. The purpose of this study is as follows. First, the reasons and necessity of long-life housing cost increase for each construction company, housing owner, infill component manufacturer and designer which are long-life housing related personnel are determined. The direction of incentive grant for supplying long-life housing based on the determined items is established. The result of this study is as follows. First, a special treatment which is higher than the alleviation of construction standards according to the previous ordinance is necessary for construction companies to secure the business feasibility. Also, incentives such as the provision of service space and wide balcony are necessary to improve the preference level of parceling out. Second, financial incentives such as financial support for housing purchase, reduction and exemption of tax (acquisition tax and registration tax), and support of maintenance cost are required for house owners. Third, it is essential to increase opportunities to participate in the market for infill component manufacturers by applying additional points for PQ. Fourth, it is needed to provide compensation for additional human resource and time at the time of designing to designers by preparing the long-life housing design cost standards.

토모 테라피 치료 시 선량 체적 히스토그램 표지자를 이용한 치료계획 비교에 관한 연구 (A Study on Prospective Plan Comparison using DVH-index in Tomotherapy Planning)

  • 목 적: 토모테라피 치료 계획 시 여러 가지 다양한 빔 조절 인자들의 수정으로 얻어진 각각의 치료 계획 결과를 특정한 선량체적 히스토그램 표지자(DVH-Index)를 이용하여 치료 전에 비교 함으로써 최적의 치료 계획을 효율적으로 도출할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 대상 및 방법: 토모테라피 적응증례를 가진 3명의 환자(두경부, 복부, 골반부)를 대상으로 치료 전 PQ 5000 (CT simulator, Philips)을 이용하여 전산화 단층 촬영영상을 얻었고, pinnacle ver 7.6c (3D RTP, ADAC)에서 종양 조직과 정상조직의 윤곽선을 묘사하여 토모 치료계획 장비(hi-art system ver 2.0)로 전송한 후 빔 조사야, 피치 혹은 중요도를 각기 다르게 설정하고 치료 계획을 실시하였다. 각각의 치료 계획은 종양 부위와 정상 부위의 선량 통계량(최대선량, 최소선량, 평균선량, 선량체적)을 구하여 치료 적절성을 비교하였고 또한 선량 체적 히스토그램을 이용하여 종양 표적 내의 균일성 지수(homogeneity index, HI), 종양 표적에 대한 선량 조형 지수(conformity index, CI), 정상 조직에서의 선량 감소 지수(dose gradient index, DGI)를 이용하여 치료 계획을 비교한 후 두 가지 비교 결과의 유사성을 확인 하였다. 결 과: 3명의 환자를 대상으로 각각 시행한 3가지 치료 계획을 등 선량 분포와 선량 통계량을 통해 비교한 결과와 선량 체적 히스토그램 표지자를 이용한 치료 계획의 비교 결과 두부, 복부와 골반부에 치료 부위를 가진 환자에 있어서 모두 동일한 치료계획을 우월하게 판정하였다. 결 론: 토모테라피의 치료 계획 비교 시 선량 체적 히스토그램의 표지자를 이용한 방법은 특정한 치료 목표에 따라 다소간의 차이를 나타낼 순 있으나 종양 조직에 대한 선량분포의 적절성과 전체적인 정상조직의 고 선량 위험도를 반영함으로써 다수의 치료계획을 단시간에 상호 비교 검증 할 수 있는 적절한 방법으로 사료 된다.

조영제 사용 전${\cdot}$후 불균질 조직 보정 알고리즘에 따른 선량변화에 대한 연구

  • Purpose : The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of tissue inhomogeneities when appling to contrast medium among Homogeneous, Batho and ETAR dose calculation method in RTP system. Method and Material : We made customized heterogeneous phantom it filled with water or contrast medium slab. Phantom scan data have taken PQ 5000 (CT scanner, Marconi, USA) and then dose was calculated in 3D RTP (AcQ-Plan, Marconi, USA) depends on dose calculation algorithm (Homogeneous, Batho, ETAR). The dose comparisons were described in terms of 2D isodose distribution, percent depth dose data, effective path length and monitor unit. Also dose distributions were calculated with homogeneous and inhomogeneous correction algorithm, Batho and ETAR, in each patients with different clinical sites. Results : Result indicated that Batho and ETAR method gave rise to percent depth dose deviation $1.5{\sim}2.7\%,\;2.3{\sim}3.5\%$ (6MV, field size $10{\times}10cm^2$) in each status with and without contrast medium. Also show that effective path lengths were more increase in contrast status (23.14 cm) than Non-contrast (22.07 cm) about $4.9\%$ or 10.7 mm (In case Hounsfield Unit 270) and these results were similary showned in each patient with different clinical site that was lung. prostate, liver and brain region. Concliusion : In conclusion we shown that the use of inhomogeneity correction algorithm for dose calculation in status of injected contrast medium can not represent exact dose at GTV region. These results mean that patients will be more irradiated photon beam during radiation therapy.

"The Light": 정량적 프레즌스 측정을 위한 빛의 색, 빛의 움직임, 빛과의 인터랙션을 이용한 추상영상 실험 ("The Light": An Experimental Moving Image which uses Color, Trace, and Interactivity of Light to Measure Quantitative Presence)

  • 관람객 자신이 보고 있는 영상 콘텐츠의 공간속에 있는 느낌이나 심리적 경험을 프레즌스라고 한다. 본 논문에서는 (1) 어떤 영상 이미지와 형태에 따라 향상 또는 증강되는지, (2) 관람자의 개개인의 특성에 따른 프레즌스의 변화, (3) 인터랙티브가 가미된 영상작품에서 인터랙티비티가 프레즌스 향상에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대하여 분석하고자 한다. 실험영상으로는 본인이 제작한 "The Light"를 사용하였다. 본 연구에서는 실험영상을 대상으로 연구를 진행하였으며, 실험영상의 주요한 시각적 구성요소인 색상과 형태를 분류하여 프레즌스를 측정하였다. 실험을 통하여 실험영상에 인터랙티브가 가미된 영상을 제작하는 것이 본인의 작품에 프레즌스를 높인다는 결과를 얻었다. 실험영상과 인터랙티브가 가미된 영상의 프레즌스를 측정하기 위해 기존 프레즌스 측정연구를 토대로 새로운 설문지를 작성하였으며, 측정도구로는 설문지 조사형태인 PQS와 뇌파측정 방법인 EEG 측정을 결합하여 실험하였다. 실험 결과에서, 뇌파 측정에 따른 알파파와 베타파의 변화는 프레즌스 증감에 따라 결과치가 달라짐을 확인하였다.

청색 활성제의 첨가 형상 변화에 따른 백색 OLED의 발광 특성 (Effect of Doping Profile of Blue Activator on the Emission Characteristics of White Organic Light Emitting Diodes)

  • To investigate the effect of two-emission-layer structure on the emission characteristics of the phosphorescent white organic light-emitting diodes (PHWOLEDs), the PHWOLEDs with two different emission layers, blue EML(29 nm, FIrpic-doped mCP) and red EML(1 nm, Ir(pq)$_2$acac-doped CBP)), following host-guest system were fabricated. The bi-layered blue EML was composed of mCP:FIrpic (20 nm, 7 vol.%) and mCP:FIrpic (9 nm, 7, 10, 15, 20, and 25 vol.%, respectively). When the concentration of FIrpic was increased from 7 to 15 vol.%, light emission luminance, current efficiency, and external quantum efficiency were increased. On the contrary, when the concentration of FIrpic was increased to more than 20 vol.%, light emission luminance, current efficiency, and external quantum efficiency were decreased. The PHWOLEDs with the bi-layered blue EML structure of mCP:FIrpic (20 nm, 7 vol.%) and mCP:FIrpic (9 nm, 15 vol.%) showed current efficiency of 29.7 cd/A and external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 16.6% at 1,000 $cd/cm^2$.

두류 에탄올 추출물의 항산화 활성, 항변이원성 및 변이원성 검정 (Screening of the Antioxidative Activity, Antimutagenicity and Mutagenicity of the Ethanolic Extracts from Legumes)

  • 시판되고 있는 두류 22 종류의 70% 에탄올 추출물을 제조하여, 이들의 항산화 활성, 화학적 변이원 mitomycin C에 대한 항변이원성, 세포독성, 변이원성 등을 포함하는 생리활성 효과를 비교 검정하였다. DPPH radical에 대한 전자공여능, hydroxy radical 소거능 및 지질 자동산화 억제효과 등은 모든 두류 품종이 거의 유사한 효과를 나타내었다. 예팔, 완두, 녹두, 백편두 등은 변이원 mitomycin C에 대해 유의할만한 수준의 항변이원성을 보였으며, 녹색나물콩, 녹두, 속피리 등은 지시 세포의 성장을 촉진하는 효과가 있었고, 속청과 청태는 변이원성을 억제하는 특성이 있었다. 백편두는 세포 성장과 돌연변이 유발 모두를 억제하는 것으로 나타나 추출물 자체가 독성을 가질 수도 있을 것으로 생각되었다. 결과적으로 본 연구의 목적이었던 기능성 밥 및 떡 제조를 위한 부재료로서의 두류 이용을 위해서는 예팥, 녹두 등을 이용하는 것이 바람직하리라고 생각된다.
