병원간호사의 조직후원인식이 직무몰입과 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Hospital Nurses' Perceived Organizational Support on Job Involvement and Organizational Citizenship Behavior)

  • Purpose: This descriptive study was done to identify effects of perceived organizational support (POS) on job involvement and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) in hospital nurses. Methods: Data were collected from Oct. 1 to Nov. 15, 2011. Participants in this study were 324 nurses working in 6 general hospitals in S, K, and C cities. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheff$\acute{e}$ test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. Results: POS was positively correlated with job involvement, and OCB (altruism, conscientiousness, courtesy, sportsmanship and civic virtue). Factors influencing job involvement were POS and marital status, which accounted for 15.7% of the variance, marital status influenced altruism, which accounted for 4% of the variance, POS influenced conscientiousness, which accounted for 10% of the variance, religion and marital status influenced courtesy, which accounted for 6.5% of the variance, age influenced sportsmanship, which accounted for 7.9% of the variance, and POS and clinical career influenced civic virtue, which accounted for 23.1% of the variance. Job involvement mediated on the relation between perceived organizational support and organizational citizenship behavior. Conclusion: The results of the study indicate that hospital administrators should explore ways of improve POS for better job involvement, conscientiousness, and civic virtue.

Characteristics of low-nitrite pork emulsified-sausages with paprika oleoresin solution during refrigerated storage

  • The objective of this study was to evaluate quality characteristics of low-nitrite emulsified-sausages (ESs, < 75 ppm) containing paprika oleoresin solution (POS) for replacing sodium nitrite (NaNO2). Pork ESs were prepared with four treatments (reference (REF), 150 ppm NaNO2; TRT1, 0 ppm NaNO2 + 0.1% POS; TRT2, 37.5 ppm NaNO2 + 0.1% POS; and TRT3, 75 ppm NaNO2 + 0.1% POS). The physicochemical and texture properties, microbial counts, residual nitrite and thiobarbituric acid reactant substances (TBARS) were measured during refrigerated storage of 35 days. Although TRT2 and TRT3 had lower levels of NaNO2, they had higher redness and yellowness than REF (p < 0.05). Microbial counts of total bacterial counts and Enterobacteriaceae of TRT2 and TRT3 were similar to those of REF (p > 0.05). Expressible moisture percentages (EM, %) of TRT2 and TRT3 were lower than those of REF (p < 0.05). TBARS values of TRT2 and TRT3 were not different from those of REF (p > 0.05). Among treatments, TRT1 had the highest TBARS values (p < 0.05). In conclusion, 0.1% POS in combination with 37.5 ppm NaNO2 would have quality characteristics similar to those of REF. Therefore, approximately 3/4 of the initial nitrite level could be replaced with 0.1% POS, and eventually developed healthier pork products.

Muscular and collagenous cerebellar choristoma in a dog

  • This report aims to describe the first case of muscular and collagenous choristoma in a dog. A 10-yr-old female mixed-breed dog presented with lateral recumbence, vocalization, positional vertical nystagmus, divergent strabismus, anisocoria, and status epilepticus. The clinical condition evolved to stupor and ultimately, death. Necropsy revealed a white mass causing an irregular increase in the volume of the cerebellar vermis. In histological analysis, a well circumscribed, unencapsulated mass was observed in the cerebellum, consisting of fibers of striated skeletal muscle and collagen fibers, mostly mineralized. Based on the histopathological and histochemical findings, a diagnosis of muscular and collagenous cerebellar choristoma was made.

자기효능감과 임파워먼트가 간호사의 조직후원인식과 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Self-Efficacy and Empowerment on Perceived Organizational Support and Organizational Citizenship Behaviors of Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of self-efficacy and empowerment on perceived organizational support and organizational citizenship behavior of nurses. Method: The subjects of this study were 327 nurses who were working at seven hospitals. The data were collected by structured questionnaire from Feb. 12 to Mar. 5 of 2006. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and Stepwise multiple regression on SPSS/PC 12.0 program. Results: The mean score of self-efficacy was 3.75, empowerment was 3.68, perceived organizational support(POS) was 2.87, and organizational citizenship behavior(OCB) was 3.64. The POS had statistically significant differences according to position(F=3.207, p=.013). The self-efficacy and empowerment were positively correlated with POS and OCB. The self-efficacy(7.0%), meaning(8.5%), competency(12.4%), self-determination(1.9%), and impact(4.8%) explained 34.6% of the variance for POS. The self-efficacy(17.1%), meaning(1.0%), competency(2.8%), self-determination(3.2%), and impact(13.2%) explained 37.3% of the variance for OCB. Conclusion: The findings showed that self-efficacy and empowerment were important factors for enhancing POS and OCB in nursing organization. Therefore, the nurse manager must establish the strategies to improve the self-efficacy and empowerment of the nurses in order to promote the POS and OCB.

  • 현재 전자상거래를 통한 상품추천 서비스가 많이 연구 되고 서비스되어지고 있다. 정보기술의 발달로 소규모 상점에서도 POS가 많이 보급되어 있지만 전자상거래에 비해 상품추천 서비스가 많이 이뤄지고 있지 않는 실정이다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 연구에서는 데이터마이닝 알고리즘을 POS 판매데이터에 접목하여 연관분석을 이용한 상품추천서비스 시스템을 구현하였다. 또한, 본 연구에서는 기존에 없는 서비스인 소멸규칙 및 새로운규칙, 상승 및 하향규칙을 제안하였다. 상품판매데이터를 이용하여 연관 분석한 결과는 고객에게 적용하여 상품추천서비스를 가능하게 하고 이와 더불어 소멸규칙 및 새로운규칙, 상승 및 하향규칙을 파악하여 경영자에게 경영 의사결정 정보로 제공해 주어 고객의 요구 변화에 신속한 대응이 가능하도록 하였다.

리더십과 애자일 문화간의 관계에 관한 연구: 조직지원인식의 매개 효과를 중심으로 (A study on the Relationship between Leadership and Agile Culture: focusing on the mediating effect of Perceived Organizational Support(POS))

  • 최근 기업 경영환경의 변화에 대응하기 적합한 조직문화로 주목받고 있는 애자일 문화의 특성을 검토하고 리더십, 애자일 문화, 조직지원인식(POS)의 역할과 상호 관계를 밝히고자 하였다. 연구는 농협중앙회 및 산하의 자회사 직원들을 대상으로 진행하였고, 연구모형 검정에는 주로 SmartPLS 3.3.2를 사용하였다. 연구결과, 서번트리더십과 진성리더십은 모두 POS에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤고, POS는 애자일 문화의 모든 하위차원(권한위임, 지속적인 학습, 집단지성)에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 POS는 위의 두 가지 리더십이 집단지성과 권한위임에 미치는 영향을 매개하였으나, 지속적 학습과의 관계에서는 매개 효과가 없었다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 애자일 문화를 구축하기 위해서는 애자일 문화에 적합한 리더십과 조직지원에 대한 직원들의 확신이 매우 중요하다는 것을 시사하고 있다.
