사각탱크의 벽면에 설치된 배플 주위 비정상유동의 속도계측에 관한 연구

  • 횡요동을 하는 13.5도의 모서리 경사각을 갖는 사각탱크 내에서 발생하는 유체의 슬로싱에 대해 비정상 현상 규명이 가능한 PIV기법을 적용하여 실험적으로 고찰하였다. 내부 액체의 유통현상을 계측한 결과, 0.6Hz와 l.2Hz의 주기를 갖는 실제 운동 상황을 모사한 운동 중의 속도분포를 계측 할 수 있는 기술을 확보하였으며 바닥중앙에 설치된 배플 주위 유동장을 해석하였다.

  • A digital image processing technique which is able to get the velocity vector distribution of a surface of the spilled oil in the ocean without contacting the flow itself. This technique is based upon the PIV(Particle Imaging Velocimetry) technique and its system mainly consists of a high sensitive camera, a CCD camera, an image grabber, and a host computer in which an image processing algorithm is adopted for velocity vector acquisition. For the acquisition of the advective velocity vector of floating matters on the ocean, a new multi-frame tracking algorithm is proposed, and for the acquisition of the diffusion velocity vector distribution of the spilt oil onto the water surface, a high sensitive gray-level cross-correlation algorithm is proposed.

  • In order to increase the efficiency of thermoelectric refrigerators using the Peltier effect, it is necessary to optimize the distribution of the flow of cold air from the fan. In this study, the flow flowing upwards and downwards while changing the area of the flow path was visualized using the PIV technique for the control of cold air in a thermoelectric refrigerator. From these results, the flow rate according to the change in the area of the flow path was confirmed, and design criteria for optimizing the distribution of cold air flowing to the top and bottom of the refrigerator were suggested.

  • It is very important to understand and analyze the interactive behaviour between ground and adjacent structures due to tunneling. With many technological advancement in modern society, numerous methods for analyzing the interactive behaviour are used in a wide range of civil engineering fields. Close range photogrammetry is mainly being used in the field of geotechnical engineering and research on measuring methods associated with GeoPIV has been currently increased. Originally, the close range photogrammetry using target points and aluminum rods for VMS (Vision Measurement System) program has been used. However, applying this has a problem that external errors can be occurred because the target points are artificially installed by hand, and if the grid between points is being wider or narrower, deficient data can be obtained. Therefore, in this study, MATLAB-based No-target program that can analyze displacement without using target was developed. Additionally, this study focused on comparison and verification with existing program through numerical analysis and laboratory model test. Three cases of Greenfield condition, Strip foundation, and Pile foundation were analyzed. From results of VMS program and No-target program, the error rate and reliability of the total displacement and the vertical displacement were analyzed. It was also compared and verified through the finite element numerical program, PLAXIS.

  • 본 연구에서는 구조물 전면에서 발생하는 권파와 그 이후 발생하는 처오름과 월파의 유속장을 계측하기 위하여 수리모형실험을 실시하였으며, 실험결과를 이용하여 월파의 유속분포를 나타내는 경험식을 제안하였다. 구조물 전면에서 내습파랑이 쇄파된 이후, 구조물을 월파하는 동안에 유체의 흐름은 넓은 연행기포의 지역을 형성하며 다위상(multiphase)상태가 된다. 쇄파에 의한 구조물 주위에서의 유체흐름 중 연행기포가 없는 영역의 유속 측정에는 입자화상유속계(particle image velocimetry, PIV)기법을, 연행기포 영역에서의 유속 측정에는 기포화상유속계(particle image velocimetry, BIV)기법을 적용하였다. 두 기법을 이용하여 측정된 유속장으로부터 구조물 주위에서의 쇄파, 처오름 및 월파시의 최대유속을 계측하였다. 구조물 위로 월파된 유체 흐름 분포는 비선형적인 특성을 보여주며, 시간별 최대유속은 주로 유체의 전면부에서 발생하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 무차원화된 유속분포로부터 구조물 위에서의 월파시 유속분포가 자기상사성(self-similarity)을 갖는다는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 이를 이용하여 월파의 유속분포를 위한 실험적 경험식을 제시하였다.

  • The Free surface influenced the wake behind a circular cylinder and its effects were investigated experimentally in a circulating water channe with the variation of water depth Instantaneous velocity fields were measured in this paper. the measured results has been compared with each other to investigate the flow characteristics of the circular cylinder's 2-dimensional section at $Re=1.0\times10^3$ using 2-frame grey level cross correlation PIV method. The flow around the circular cylinder with free surface affected the wake structure. especially, in case of d=1.0D, the boundary layer was measured in the whole area. The separation point and boundary layer of the circular cylinder could be controlled by the water depth.

  • This paper presents are experimental investigation to figure out impact pressure and flow characteristics of a wedge type structure in free fall. The flow field has been obtained by 2-frame grey level cross correlation PIV(Particle Image Velocimetry) method, the impact pressure of free fall structure by a pressure acquisition system apply to Dewetron system. The angles between a model and the free surface are adapted $15^{\circ}$, $25^{\circ}$, $35^{\circ}$ and $45^{\circ}$ respectively. Velocity field of water exit has higher better than water entry. The impact pressure under the bottom of the model has been appeared higher values at $15^{\circ}$ than $45^{\circ}$, and also at P1.

  • 선박의 러더하부 끝단에서는 선회에 따른 와류로 인하여 선회력 및 후류유동에 변화를 초래한다. 이를 관측하기 위해 NACA단면 형상의 몰수체를 영각과 관측단면을 변화시키며 $Re=2.0{\times}10^4$에서 실험을 통한 순간유동장을 계측 후 그 영향을 조사하였다. 계측된 결과는 상호상관 PIV기법을 이용 Naca단면 끝단에서의 2차원 유동특성을 알아보기 위하여 상호 비교하였다. NACA단면은 영각변화에 따라 후류유동에 영향을 미친다. 동일유입유속에서 영각이 증가함에 따라 관찰단면이 중앙으로 갈수록 와류 규모가 확대되는 것을 관찰할 수 있었다.

  • 현 화학플랜트에서 사용되고 있는 ABS 수지 응집 공정의 경우 교반기 내부의 불균일한 유동분포와 유동메커니즘의 문제점은 공정 제품의 생산성을 저하 시키는 원인으로 작용하고 있다. 그러나 우수한 성능의 산업용 교반기를 설계하기 위해선 반드시 교반성능에 영향을 미치는 다양한 내부의 유동특성의 정량적인 실험 데이터 확보가 필요하나, 3차원적 비정상 특성을 나타내는 복잡한 구조의 내부 유동특성에 관한 정량적 해석은 현재까지도 상당한 어려운 문제로 남아있다. 이에 이런 문제점을 개선하여 생산성을 향상시키기 위해서는 PIV 기법을 이용한 교반기 내부의 유동분포와 유동메커니즘을 규명하여 교반기 내부의 최적화된 유동을 형성시키는 임펠러의 형상을 개발하고자 한다.
