  • 과거 하나의 시스템을 구축하기 위해서는 여러 개의 주변소자를 접목시켜서 구현해 왔다. 하지만 근래에 들어서 소형화, 간략화를 통해 계속해서 원 칩 마이크로프로세서의 사용이 늘고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 원 칩 마이크로프로세서인 TMS320F2812의 PWM기능을 이용하고, QEP의 기능을 이용해서 모터에서 출력되는 엔코더 값으로부터 속도를 계측하여 PID 제어이론을 바탕으로 DC 모터의 속도를 제어하였다.

Time Domain Based Digital Controller for Buck-Boost Converter

  • Design, Simulation and experimental analysis of closed loop time domain based Discrete PWM buck-boost converter are described. To improve the transient response and dynamic stability of the proposed converter, Discrete PID controller is the most preferable one. Discrete controller does not require any precise analytical model of the system to be controlled. The control system of the converter is designed using digital PWM technique. The proposed controller improves the dynamic performance of the buck-boost converter by achieving a robust output voltage against load disturbances, input voltage variations and changes in circuit components. The converter is designed through simulation using MATLAB/Simulink and performance parameters are also measured. The discrete controller is implemented, and design goal is achieved and the same is verified against theoretical calculation using LabVIEW.

  • 산업분야의 통신시스템에는 주로 RS232C 통신, RS485 통신, CAN 통신 등이 주로 사용되었다면 근래에는 고속통신이 가능하며 공장 자동화(CIM)나 시스템 통합에 편리한 이더넷통신이 사용되고 있는 추세이다. 즉, 기존의 PC와 프로세서간의 통신의 방식에서 랜 선을 이용하여 원거리에서 프로세서의 제어와 모니터가 가능하도록 구현되는 실정이다. 이더넷을 통해 연결된 시스템은 $10Mbps{\sim}100Mbps$의 빠른 속도로 모니터링과 제어가 가능하여 널리 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 승압형 컨버터를 구현하기 위하여 마이크로프로세서는 컨버터의 입력전압과 출력전압이 필요하며 이를 마이크로프로세서 내부에 있는 12비트A/D변환기로 구현하였다. 전압 제어를 위해서 본 논문에서는 25us 마다 PWM의 ON/OFF 폭을 미리 예측한 후 타이머를 이용하여 A/D 변환을 하도록 하였다. 원 칩 마이크로프로세서인 DSP(TMS320F2812)의 PWM 기능을 이용하여 승압형 컨버터에서 출력되는 전압을 계측하여 PID 제어이론을 바탕으로 전압을 제어하였다.

  • In order to establish the design technique of the robust current controller in d.c series wound motor driver system, this paper proposes a method of the compensated Bang-Bang current control using d.c series wound motor driver system under the improperly variable load to get minimum time for the torque control. The compensated Bang-Bang current controller structure is simpler than that of PID plus Bang-Bang controller. This paper shows that a general 16 bits microprocessor is efficiently used to implement such an algorithm. The calculation time of software is extremely small when compared with that of conventional PID plus Bang-Bang controller. Both nonlinear operating characteristics of digital switching elements and describing function methods are used for the analysis and synthesis. Real-time implementation of the compensated Bang-Bang current controller is achieved. The concept of design strategy of the control and the PWM waveform generation algorithms are presented in this paper.

  • A rubber pneumatic controlled actuator is a new actuator. It is very light With a high power-to-weight ratio. In this thesis, a control method for a two link robot arm using the rubber actuator is developed. The structure of the servo control is made up of two sections. The position control is performed by PID feedback control. The air pressure is controlled by Servo Valve Unit driven by PWM and the control input is compensated by software operation. The numerical simulation of this control method to two link robot arm is presented to verify the performance of the closed loop system. The actual control of the real two link robot arm with rubber actuator is taken and its results are discussed.

  • This paper describes a method of approximate reasoning for fuzzy control of servo system, based on decomposition of -level fuzzy sets. It is propose that logic circuits for fuzzy PI+PD are a body from fuzzy inference to defuzzificaion in cases where the output variable u directly is generated PWM. The effectiveness for robust and faster response of the fuzzy control scheme is verified for a variable parameter by comparison with a PID control and fuzzy control. A position control of DC servo system with a fuzzy logic controller successfully demonstrated.

  • We have developed a part of hydraulic stroke sensing cylinder using magnetic sensor that can detect each position under severe construction fields. In this paper, for evaluating the developed cylinder under various environment condition, thermal control systems and two hydraulic systems to be coupled consist of. The former is composed of an heater case, temperature sensor, and interface circuits which include SCR(silicon controlled rectifier) for the control of the voltage's phase. The latter is composed of an hydraulic cylinder for position control with solenoid valve (ON/OFF motion) and a load cylinder with proportional reducing valve. To obtain the various performance evaluation, it is carried out under high temperature condition in thermal system controlled by using Ziegler-Nichols PID tuning method and artificial disturbances such as impulse or constant force. The results show that the developed cylinder has good performance under the various environment condition.

  • In this paper, we develop control hardware such as an FPGA based general purposed intelligent controller with a DSP board to solve nonlinear system control problems. PID control algorithms are implemented in an FPGA and neural network control algorithms are implemented in a BSP board. An FPGA was programmed with VHDL to achieve high performance and flexibility. The additional hardware such as an encoder counter and a PWM generator can be implemented in a single FPGA device. As a result, the noise and power dissipation problems can be minimized and the cost effectiveness can be achieved. To show the performance of the developed controller, it was tested fur nonlinear systems such as a robot hand and an inverted pendulum.

  • Differently from an existing analog control, because the digital control includes microprocessor basically, the digital control is enable to monitor internal parameters of DC-DC converter and to control output voltage remotely by communicating with a Windows based PC. These things are impossible in an analog control and there are more advantages in a digital control than an analog control. In this paper, with the advantages mentioned above, the feasibility of digital controlled DC-DC converter in low price is proposed. In order to implement these functions, it is used the inexpensive H8/3672 made by Renesas that has built in AD converters and PWM logic generators. The proposed digital controller is applied to a flyback converter that is designed to output DC 5[V] from DC 20∼30[V] and is remotely controlled to make variable outputs from DC 0[V] to 5[V] above in PC. The PWM controller adopts the PD controller in PID. In the last, the response characteristics of a step reference voltage and in a steady state are experimented to verify the feasibility and the usefulness of the proposed flyback converter that is implemented inexpensively.

In this paper, for the evaluation of the developed cylinder under various temperature change, thermal control systems are designed and controlled. It is composed of an heater case, temperature sensor, and interface circuits which included SCR(silicon controlled rectifier) for the control of the voltage's phase. To obtain various temperature conditions, the thermal systems are controlled by using Ziegler-Nichols PED tuning method. The thermalcontrol systems are used to experiment to evaluate whether the developed cylinder can obtain a stable output signal for detecting a stroke of the cylinder under the controlled temperature condition.
