무연 솔더 제거를 위한 디지털 디솔더링 시스템 구현 (Implementation of Digital Desoldering System for Removing Lead-free Solder)

  • 본 논문은 무연 솔더를 제거하기 위한 디지털 디솔더링 시스템에 관하여 다룬다. 땜납의 모재가 유연납에서 무연납으로 변화된 작업환경에 대처하고, 설정온도에 빠르게 수렴하며 연속작업이 가능한 디솔더링 시스템을 제안한다. 제안 시스템은 디솔더링 스테이션과 디솔더링건으로 구성되며, PID 온도제어를 위한 주변회로는 8bit MCU를 중심으로 설계하였다. 제안 시스템의 성능을 확인하기 위하여 동종의 수입품과 성능을 비교한 결과, 제안시스템은 기존 시스템에 비해 작업온도 도달시간은 11초 빠르며, 리플온도의 변화량은 $1.5^{\circ}C$ 적고, 열 회복율은 약 $0.14^{\circ}C$/초 빠르게 나타남을 확인 하였다.

히치 각도 제어 알고리즘을 통한 카라반 스웨이 저감 장치 개발 (Development of Caravan Sway Reduction System using the Hitch Angle Control Algorithm)

  • 카라반은 외부의 물리적 요인에 쉽게 영향을 받아 탑승자에게 위험한 상황을 초래하는 경우가 많다. 따라서 탑승자의 안정성을 확보하기 위해 스웨이 현상을 사전에 예방할 수 있는 스웨이 저감 장치를 개발할 필요성이 있다. 본 논문에서는 견인차량과 카라반 사이의 Hitch angle을 최소화하는 것을 목표로 한다. 구체적으로는 견인차량과 카라반 각각에 장착된 IMU 센서를 통해 카라반의 초기 불안정성을 감지하고, PID 제어기를 이용하여 Hitch angle, Hitch yaw rate가 Desired hitch angle, Desired hitch yaw rate에 수렴할 수 있도록 제어 값을 산출한다. 산출된 제어 값에 따라 카라반 좌우 브레이크에 다른 제동토크를 생성하여 분배하고 제어한다. 주행 실험을 통해 스웨이 저감 장치의 성능을 검증한 결과, 제어하지 않은 경우보다 Hitch angle이 감소한 것을 확인할 수 있었고, 횡 방향 안정성 향상률은 제어 전에 비해 78.9% 향상된 것을 확인하였다.

  • The outdoor antenna servo system is subject to has significant torque disturbances from wind pressures and gusts on the antenna structures, as well as bearing and aerodynamic frictions. This control system should provide a sharp directivity in spite of the environmental disturbances and internal uncertainties. Therefore, the implementation of a real-time controller is necessary for the precise generation of the reference signal and robust tracking performance. In this paper, the discrete-time controller for the quick tracking of a target communication satellite is designed by applying the sampled-data $H_{\infty}$ control theory along with the reference signal generated by an improved conventional step-tracking algorithm. The sampled-data $H_{\infty}$controller demonstrates superior robustness for the longer sampling period when compared with a simple PID controller.

  • In this paper, we proposed the method to design fuzzy controller using the experience of the operating expert and experimental numeric data for the robust control about the noise and disturbance instead of the traditional PID controller for the main steam temperature control of the thermal power plant. The temperature of main steam temperature process has to be controlled uniformly for the stable electric power output. The process has the problem of the hunting for the cases of various disturbances. In that case, the manual action of the operator happened to be introduced in some cases. We adopted the TSK (Takagi-Sugeno-Kang) model as the fuzzy controller and designed the fuzzy rules using the informations extracted directly from the real plant and various operating condition to solve the above problems and to apply practically. We implemented the real fuzzy controller as the Function Block module in the DCS(Distributed Control System) and evaluated the feasibility through the experiment81 results of the simulation.

서보 모터의 디지털 제어기 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design of a Digital Controller for DC Servo Motor)

  • This paper deals with the design of the digital controller for DC servo motor, and it is implemented for the cartesian coordinate 4 axes manipulator. A design method of the controller is adopted an algorithm using the digital position locked loop(DPLL) method and the linear PID control for the smooth motion. To simplify the hardware configuration of control system, 8279 keyboard/display controller, Z-80 CTC counter and 8255 PPI are used. Therefore the design method to control each motor as real-time is presented. To show effectiveness of the design, the PWM circuit and frequency/voltage converter are applied for the velocity control of robot system. When the proposed controller is applied to the 4-axes manipulator, it reveals that the error probabilities of X, Y and Z axis as 0.033%, 0.023% and 0.028% respectively.

  • This paper's focus is in reducing the torque ripple and increasing the average torque by optimizing switching angles of 8/6 switched reluctance motor while implementing a robust speed controller in the outer loop. The mathematical model of the machine is developed and it is simulated using MATLAB/Simulink. An objective function and constraints are formulated and Optimum turn-on and turn-off angles are determined using Particle swarm optimization and Genetic Algorithm techniques. The novelty of this paper lies in implementing sliding mode speed controller with optimized angles. The results from both the optimization techniques are then compared with initial angles with one of them clearly being the better option. Speed response is compared with PID controller.

  • This paper presents a new approachtothe design of adaptive control system using DSPs(TMS320C30) for robotic manipulators to achieve trajectory tracking by the joint angles. Digital signal processors are used in implementing real time adaptive control algorithms to provide an enhanced motion control for robotic manipulators. In the proposed control scheme, adaptation laws are derived from the improved Lyapunov second stability analysis method based on the adaptive model reference control theory. The adaptive controller consists of an adaaptive feedforward controller, feedback controller, and PID type time-varying auxillary control elements. The prpposed adaptive control scheme is simple in structure, fast in computation, and suitable for implementation of real-time control. Moreover, this scheme does not require an accurate dynamic modeling, nor values of manipulator parameters and payload. Performance of the adaptive controller is illustrated by simulation and experimental results for a SCARA robot.

  • SRM (Switched Reluctance Motor) has not been put into practical use since it has been developed in mid 19th centuries, but the switching element using semi-conductor was developed in 1950's which made possible to produce small size staffing motors. The research activities have been lively conducted regarding SRM since 1960's, nowadays, more research activities are being carried out focusing on developing small home appliances such as vacuum cleaners and washing machines. This thesis explains the study of controller design applied to SRM concept. This controller executes controller algorithms via $\mu$ - processor to increase stability and precise measurement, and VHDL (Very high speed integrated circuit Hardware Description Language) is designed to generate SRM driving signal.

  • In this paper, we present a wide-bandwidth digital rebalance loop for a dynamically tuned gyroscope(DTG) based on {{{{ { H}_{2 } }}}} methodology. The operational principle and the importance of a rebalance loop are explaind, first. The augmented plant model is constructed, which includes a gyroscope model and an integrator. An {{{{ { H}_{ 2} }}}} based controller is designed for the augmented plant model. To verify the performance of the controller, a digital rebalance loop for a DTG is designed, fabricated and experimented. Through frequency response analyses and experiments using a real DTG, it is confirmed that the controller is more robustly stable and has a wider bandwidth compared with those of a conventional PID controller, contributing to the performance improvement of a DTG.

  • A learning controller is presented for repetitive walking motion of biped robot. The learning control scheme learns the approximate inverse dynamics input of biped walking robot and uses the learned input pattern to generate an input profile of different walking motion from that learnt. In the learning controller, the PID feedback controller takes part in stabilizing the transient response of robot dynamics while the feedforward learning controller plays a role in computing the desired actuator torques for feedforward nonlinear dynamics compensation in steady state.
