전동휠체어 로봇의 경로추적제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Path-Tracking of Electric Wheelchair Robot)

  • These days the number of aged and disabled people is increasing rapidly. But most of the disabled or the aged who have the ability to work, want to engage in economic activities and solve social restrictions as well as their bad financial conditions. This paper concerns about the tracking control of an electric wheelchair robot for welfare vehicle where the seat and electric wheelchair are separated and electric wheelchair robot must be autonomously controlled without the help of assistant. So the aged or the disabled people can drive welfare vehicle by himself by adopting this system. Therefore the concept of both an autonomous driving of electric wheelchair and path tracking robots is required in this system. Finally we suggested fuzzy controller in order to control the path tracking of electric wheelchair robot and compared the capability of the proposed controller with conventional PID controller.

  • In this paper, we propose a new design approach of a two-degrees-of-freedom compensator which assures the robust stability. First of all, we clarify the internal structure of the generalized two-degrees-of-freedom compensator. By adopting this structure, we can make a bridge between the generalized controller and the disturbance observer based controller, Secondly, based on the clarified structure we derive a robust stability condition, and propose a design algorithm of free parameter taking the condition into account. The proposed design algorithm is easy to implement and, as a result, we obtain lower order free parameter then that of the conventional design algorithm.. Thirdly, we show by adopting an appropriate coprime factorization that the clarified structure can also be regarded as an extended version of the conventional PID compensator. Finally, we apply the proposed algorithm to a three-degrees-of freedom direct drive robot, and show some experimental results to verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

  • A neuro-fuzzy controller has some problems that he difficulty of tuning up the membership function and fuzzy rules, long time of inferencing and defuzzifying compare to PID. Also, the fuzzy controller's own defect as a PD controller has. In this study, it is proposed two methods to solve these problems. The first method is that inner fuzzy rules are tuned up automatically by the back propagation learning according to error patterns. And the second method is a new type defuzzification method that shorten the calculation time of an inferencing and a defuzzifying. In this study, it is designed the new type neuro-fuzzy controller that improves the fast response and the stability of a system by using the proposed methods. And, the designed controller is named EPLNFC(Error pattern Learning Neuro-Fuzzy Controller). To evaluate the fast response and the stability of EPLNFC designed in this study, EPLNFC is applied to a speed control of a DC motor and AC motor.

  • This paper presents details on a tube inspection robotic system and a positioning method of the robot for a steam generator (SG) in nuclear power plants (NPPs). The robotic system is separated into three parts for easy handling, which reduces the radiation exposure during installation. The system has a supporting leg to increase the rigidity of the robot base. Since there are several thousands of tubes to be inspected inside a SG, it is very important to position the tool of the robot at the right tubes even if the robot base is positioned inaccurately during the installation. In order to obtain absolute accuracy of a position, the robot kinematics was mathematically modeled with the modified DH(Denavit-Hartenberg) model and calibrated on site using tube holes as calibration points. To tune the PID gains of a commercial motor driver systematically, the time delay control (TDC) based gain tuning method was adopted. To verify the performance of the robotic system, experiments on a Framatomes 51B Model type SG mockup were undertaken.

게인 스케줄링을 이용한 광대역 온도제어기의 설계 (Design of Temperature based Gain Scheduled Controller for Wide Temperature Variation)

  • This paper focused on the design of an efficient temperature controller for a plant with a wide range of operating temperatures. The greater the temperature difference a plant has, the larger the nonlinearity it is exposed to in terms of heat transfer. For this reason, we divided the temperature range into five sections, and each was modeled using ARMAX(auto regressive moving average exogenous). The movement of the dominant poles of the sliced system was analyzed and, based on the variation in the system parameters with temperature, optimal control parameters were obtained through simulation and experiments. From the configurations for each section of the temperature range, a temperature-based gain-scheduled controller (TBGSC) was designed for parameter variation of the plant. Experiments showed that the TBGSC resulted in improved performance compared with an existing proportional integral derivative (PID) controller.

  • 외계행성 탐색시스템의 망원경-카메라 제어 시스템 및 소프트웨어 구성과 관측 유틸리티에 대해 소개한다. 망원경 제어 소프트웨어는 천문 위치보정, 포인팅, 돔 회전 등을 담당하는 PC-TCS 프로그램, 망원경 적경-적위 축 서보 제어를 담당하는 full-closed loop PID 컨트롤 프로그램, 포커서, 필터박스, 돔 셔터, 주경냉각, 온도 모니터 등의 보조 시스템을 제어하는 AUX controls 프로그램으로 구성된다. 카메라 제어 소프트웨어는 모자이크로 구성된 여러 CCD를 각각 독립적으로 제어하는 IC(Instrument Control) 패키지와 이들을 총괄 제어하는 ICS(IC Science) 패키지로 구성되며 망원경과 카메라 소프트웨어의 인터페이스 역할을 하는 TCS Agent 프로그램이 포함된다. 관측 진행을 돕는 유틸리티로서 관측제어 명령어 입력 및 관측 스크립트 구동 기능을 제공하는 OBS Agent 프로그램과 가이드 CCD를 이용한 시상 모니터링 및 자동초점조정 프로그램을 개발하여 활용하고 있다. 각 소프트웨어는 UDP, TCP/IP, RS-232, Redis server 등 다양한 인터페이스를 통하여 서로 통신하며, CCD 영상 자료 전달을 위해 RAM(Random Access Memory) 디스크와 Network File System(NSF)을 이용하고 있다.

  • Lots of semi-active control devices have been developed in recent years because they have the best features of passive and active system. Especially, controllable magneto-rheological(MR) fluid devices have received significant attention in these area of research. The MR fluid is the material that reversibly changes from a free-flowing, linear viscous fluid to a semisolid with a controllable yield strength in milliseconds when exposed to a magnetic field. If the magnetic field is induced by moving a permanent magnet instead of applying current to a solenoid, it is possible to design a MR damper consuming low power because the power consumption is reduced at steady state. This paper proposes valve mode MR damper using permanent magnetic circuit that has wide range of operation with low power consumption and small size. To design a MR damper that has a large maximum dissipating torque and a low damping coefficient, a design parameter is adopted. The magnetic circuit, material of choke and choke type are selected experimentally with the design parameter. The behaviors of the damper are examined and torque tracking control using PID feedback controller is performed for step, ramp and sinusoidal trajectories.

외란관측기를 이용한 자동문 시스템의 성능 개선 (Performance Improvement of an Automatic Door System Using a Disturbance Observer)

  • 본 논문에서는 외란관측기를 이용한 자동문 제어기 설계 기법을 제안한다. 통상적으로 자동문의 제어기로 PID제어기를 주로 사용하고 있으나, 설치장소에 따라 문의 크기 및 무게가 다양하기 때문에 파라미터의 변동과 불확실한 동역학 및 외란 등을 고려한 강인한 제어기가 요구된다. 이를 위해 선형화된 자동문의 모델을 제시하고, 이를 기반으로 상태피드백 제어기와 관측기를 사용하여 LQR 제어기를 설계한다. 불확실한 요소를 보상하기 위하여 외란 관측기를 제시한다. 시뮬레이션과 실험결과는 제안한 제어기법의 타당성을 보여준다.

  • This paper presents a novel Intelligent-Welding-Carriage (IWC) for automation of curved block in shipbuilding. The curved block is usually used in both front and back side of the ship. In curved block root gap is big, 1-7 (mm) and inclination, 0-30 (deg). Since available conventional carriage type is limited to use below root gap of 3 (mm), only manual welding is employed in curved block. To adopt an IWC in curved block, it requires control of the welding conditions, i.e., voltage. current, weaving speed, dwell time and travel speed, with respect to root gap and inclination to achieve good welding qualify. In this paper, an IWC is developed for automization of welding operation to accommodate gap and inclination. Kinematics model and dynamics using Lagrangian formulation of the manipulator is introduced. IWC utilizes a database to perform accurate welding. The database is programmed based on numerous experimental test results with respect to gap, inclination, material, travel speed, weaving condition, voltage, and current. Finally, experimental result using PID control is addressed for verifying the trajectory tracking accuracy of end-effector.

저가 수중 무인 이동체 개발 및 운동성능 검증 (Development of a Low-cost Unmanned Underwater Vehicle and Performance Verification)

  • In this paper, a high performance underwater vehicle which can be manufactured at low cost is designed and fabricated, and its performance is verified through experiments. To improve efficiency, the Myring equation is used to design the appearance and the duct structure including the thruster is planned to increase the propulsion efficiency while reducing the drag force. Through various methods, it is secured stable waterproof performance, and also is devised to have high speed movement and turning performance. The developed underwater vehicle is equipped with a high output BLDC motor to achieve a linear speed of up to 2 m/s and can change direction rapidly with stability through four rudders. The rudders are driven by coupling a timing belt and a pulley by extending the axis of a servo motor, and are equipped at the end of the body to turn heading. In addition, for stable posture control, the roll keeps its internal center of gravity low and maintains its stability due to restoring force. By controlling the four rudders, pitch and yaw are handled by the PID controller and show stable performance. To investigate the horizontal turning performance, it is confirmed that the yaw rate controller is designed and stable yaw rate control is performed.
