농업부문 기후변화 대응정책의 IPA분석 (IPA Analysis of Agricultural Climate Adaptation Policies)

  • This paper aims to examine the farmers' perceptions of the importance and feasibility of climate change awareness and adaptive measures in agriculture, utilizing paired sample t-tests and Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). Significant differences were found in farmers' views on the importance and urgency of climate change issues, with specific factors standing out. The IPA analysis identified key issues requiring sustained attention, including climate change magnitude, extreme weather events, livestock damage scale, pest fluctuations, and variability in flowering periods. Additionally, the study revealed significant disparities in farmers' perceptions of the importance and feasibility of adaptive measures, except for specific items related to heat indices.

꿀벌 외래 해충, 작은벌집밑빠진벌레(Aethina tumida Murray, 1867)의 초기 발견 봉장 내 공간 분포 특성 (Spatial Distribution Patterns of a Newly Invaded Honeybee Pest, Aethina tumida Murray, 1867 (Coleoptera: Nitidulidae) in an Apiary Where it was First Detected)

  • 꼬마벌집밑빠진벌레(SHB, Aethina tumida Murray(Coleoptera : Nitidulidae))는 벌통 내부에 소비와 저장식량에 피해를 주는 꿀벌 해충이다. 국내 Apis mellifera 벌통에 대한 SHB의 최초 피해 보고는 2016년 9월 23일 경남 밀양시에서 보고되었다. 그 후, 2016년 10월 5일 밀양시 양봉장에서 벌통 내부와 벌통 입구 30cm내에서 SHB 공간 분포를 조사했습니다. 총 169개의 벌통을 조사하였다. 벌통 내부에서는 SHB 유충과 성충이 발견되었으며, 토양 내에서는 성충, 유충 그리고 번데기가 발견되었다. 성충 SHB가 발견된 벌통 중 61% 벌통 내 꿀벌이 존재하였으나, 유충 SHB가 발견된 벌통에서는 꿀벌이 존재하지 않았으며, 유충에 의한 봉군 파괴를 뜻하였다. 벌통 내 꿀벌이 존재하는 경우 꿀벌 개체수가 많을수록 SHB의 밀도가 높았다. 분산 계수(CD)는 벌통 내부와 토양 내부 간의 중요한 군집 분포를 보였다. CD는 토양 내부보다 벌통 내부에서 훨씬 높았다. SHB에 의해 꿀벌이 피해를 입어 벌통을 제대로 관리하지 못하여 벌통 내 봉군의 붕괴를 일으킨다는 것을 뜻한다. 또한 10월에도 여전히 벌통 내부에서 SHB의 발육과 번식이 이루어져 늦은 가을까지 SHB의 개체군이 증가할 수 있다. SHB의 한국환경 적응에 대한 더 자세한 분석은 꿀벌에 새롭게 발견된 신규 외래해충의 관리 전략을 제시하는데 도움이 될 수 있다.

HYSPLIT 모형 입력설정에 따른 바람 이동경로 예측 결과 공간 분석 (Spatial Analysis of Wind Trajectory Prediction According to the Input Settings of HYSPLIT Model)

  • 바람에 의해 해외지역에서 국내로 유입되는 비래해충들은 주요 작물에 상당한 피해를 초래할 수 있다. 바람에 의한 비래해충의 이동 경로를 추정하기 위해 기상 모형들이 사용되는데, 본 연구에서는 비래해충이 도달할 수 있는 지역을 예측할 때 입력설정이 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 벼멸구가 중국에서 국내로 유입된다는 가정하에 입자의 바람이동 경로를 추적하기 위해 개발된 HYbrid Single-Particle Lagrangian Integrated Trajectory (HYSPLIT) 모형을 사용하여 바람의 이동경로를 예측하였다. 중국, 한국 및 일본이 포함된 중규모 수치기상모형 자료를 사용하여 순간 및 평균 풍속자료가 포함된 기상입력자료를 생성하였다. 또한, 이동 경로 계산을 위해 계산 시간 간격을 1, 30, 60분으로 설정하였다. 중국에서 벼멸구가 관측된 지점에서 2019년과 2021년 6월 상순 기간 동안 바람의 이동 경로를 계산한 결과, 순간 풍속과 평균 풍속자료를 사용함에 따라 비래해충 도달지점에 큰 차이가 나타났다. 계산 시간에 따른 이동 경로 결과값들의 공간적 분포는 상대적으로 유사도가 높았으며, 순간풍속을 사용한 경우 벼멸구 관측지역과 비교적 유사한 경향이 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 바람 경로를 추적하여 비래해충 도착지점을 추정할 때 사용되는 입력자료의 특성을 파악하고 이들로부터 발생하는 불확도에 대한 고려가 필요함을 시사한다.

꽃노랑총채벌레 종합방제 - 화학농약 처리 후 안정적 천적 투입 시기 (Integral Pest Management of the Western Flower Thrips, Frankliniella occidentalis: Optimal Time to Introduce a Natural Predator after Chemical Insecticide Treatment)

  • 시설재배지 고추를 가해하는 꽃노랑총채벌레(Frankliniella occidentalis)를 대상으로 미끌애꽃노린재(Orius laevigatus)를 이용한 생물적 방제가 검토되고 있다. 그러나 대상 해충의 빠른 집단 성장은 화학 살충제의 투입이 때에 따라 요구된다. 본 연구는 화학 살충제와 천적의 이상적 종합 방제를 구현하기 위한 목적으로 선택성이 높은 살충제 선발 및 이들 살충제 처리 이후 미끌애꽃노린재의 안전한 재투입 시기를 결정하기 위해 수행되었다. 첫째로 꽃노랑총채벌레에 방제 효과가 높은 상용 살충제가 선발되었다. 총 17종류의 상용 살충제 가운데 5종류(pyriproxyfen+spinetoram, abamectin, spinosad, acetamiprid, chlorpyrifos) 주성분을 갖는 상용 살충제가 꽃노랑총채벌레에 우수한 방제효과를 주는 약제로 선발되었다. 이들 5종류의 살충제에 대해서 미끌애꽃노린재의 감수성 반응은 꽃노랑총채벌레와 상이하였다. 특별히 아바멕틴과 스피네토람이 유기인계 또는 네오니코티노이드에 비해 상대적으로 낮은 독성을 보였다. 이들 5종류의 살충제 처리 이후 잔류 독성을 미끌애꽃노린재를 이용하여 생물검정한 결과 유기인계 및 네오니코티노이드 약제는 비교적 오랜 기간 독성을 유지하지만, 아바멕틴과 스피네토람 약제의 경우 3일 이후에는 대상 천적에 피해를 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 잔류독성결과는 LC-MS/MS를 이용한 농약 잔류량 화학분석을 통해 뒷받침되었다. 이상의 결과는 높은 밀도로 증가한 꽃노랑총채벌레에 대해서 이 해충에 살충성이 높은 아바멕틴 또는 스피네토람의 약제를 살포하고 이후 3일 지나 미끌애꽃노린재의 투입을 통해 대상 해충의 평균 밀도를 경제적피해수준 이하로 유지할 수 있다는 종합방제 기술을 제시하고 있다.

국내에서 이른 봄 출현하는 검거세미밤나방 성충집단의 기원 추정: 페놀로지 모형을 통한 접근 (Estimation of the Source Adult Population for Agrotis ipsilon (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) Appearing in Early Spring in Korea: An Approach with Phenology Modeling)

  • The black cutworm, Agrotis ipsilon (Hufnagel), is an important crop pest worldwide that feeds more than 80 plant species including cabbage, potato, maize, wheat and bean, and this moth is a typical pest attacking underground parts of crops. It has been known in farm booklets that the larvae of A. ipsilon overwinter in the soil in Korea, but no definitive data exist yet. This study was conducted to evaluate that the specific appearance time of A. ipsilon observed actually in the field could be explained when we assumed that this pest overwinters in a form of larvae or pupae. Degree day-based phenology models were applied for tracking forward or backward to find the predicted developmental stage which developed at a specific stage found in the field. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that an initial population could be established in a group that does not overwinter as larvae or pupae in Korea. In other words, the appearance of adults in early March to April could not be explained by the presence of domestic overwintering populations. Populations that overwinter as larvae or pupae in Korea were able to emerge as adults in June to July at the earliest. Therefore, the group of adults appearing in early spring is highly likely to be a population that migrated from outside Korea. Taken together, it was estimated that the colony of A. ipsilon in Korea would be formed by a mixture of a migrant population through long-distance migration and a overwintering population.

Market Entry Strategy of LINE in Japan

  • This study analyzed the successful case of Naver LINE's entry into the Japanese market. LINE pursued a strategy of establishing its dominance early on and implemented localization for Japan and thereby achieved success in the Japanese market. The various strategies adopted by LINE allowed it to win over 80% of the market share in Japan and function as a nationally ubiquitous mobile messenger. The conclusions to be drawn from our LINE analysis is that LINE must implement localization strategies suited to the characteristics of each country, as it had done successfully in Japan. In the Asian region, it should retain the platform that provides various contents while pursuing a localization strategy to secure competitive edge, by offering emoticons suitable for each country, such as Ramadan emoticons in Islamic regions.

자동차 조립작업 시 작업자세, 작업/휴식비율, 작업형태에 따른 작업부하의 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study of Workload Change at Varying Working Posture, Work/Pest Ration and Task Type in an Automobile Assembly Task)

  • A laboratory experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of working posture. work/rest ration, and task type on the physical workload in automobile assembly jobs. Ten healthy male university students participated as subjects in the experiment. East subject performed 18 experimental session with combination of 3 working posture 3 work/rest ratio and 2 task types. To examine the effect of various working conditions on workload, DMG analysis was performed on 4 different muscles in the neck an arm area, Also RPE scale and heart rate were taken as response variables. The result showed that all working conditions considered in the experiment had significant effects on the workload concluding that labor intensity in auto assembly jobs should be adjusted with respect to different levels of working posture, work/rest ratio, and task type. A study on Innovation Methods for the Content Industry in the post-COVID-19 Era

  • The content industry was greatly affected by the pandemic that hit the world in 2020. The release and production of major Hollywood films were postponed. Performances, festivals, and mega-events such as tourism and the Olympic Games were also canceled or postponed. The innovation of the content industry became inevitable in line with these rapid environmental changes, and the industry had to undergo internal changes according to these external environmental changes. Representative examples are talent fostering and job creation for young people. This study conducts both SWOT analysis and PEST analysis on the South Korean content industry, thereby analyzing cases of talent fostering and job creation suitable for the new environment.

Occurrence of Bean common mosaic virus (BCMV) Infecting Peanut in Korea

  • A virus causing vein banding, sometimes yellow mosaic and rugose symptoms on peanut was prevalent around Suwon, Korea. A survey conducted in the area found disease incidence, depending on cultivar, to range from 79 to $100\%$. The virus was found to be seed-transmissible in all the five peanut cultivars tested with transmission rates ranging from 2 to $16\%$. Host range analysis failed to differentiate 9 field isolates collected from different peanuts cultivars showing various symptoms. Inclusion bodies such as scroll, pinwheel and long laminated aggregates induced by the virus in host plant cells were similar to those induced by members of the Potyvirus subdivision III. The virus showed < $95\%$ homology with Bean common mosaic virus (BCMV), BCMV-BICMV/AzMV strains and only < $91\%$ with Desmodium mosaic virus. Based on biological characterization, electron microscopy and molecular analyses of a Korean isolate (Daewon 1), the virus was identified as peanut stripe strain of BCMV.

Construction of a Transposon-mediated Baculovirus Vector Hanpvid and a New Cell Line for Expressing Barnase

  • In this study we developed the transposon-mediated shuttle vector 'Hanpvid', which composed of HaNPV (Heliothis armigera nuclear polyhedrosis virus) genomic DNA and a transposon cassette from Bacmid of Bac-to-Bac system. Hanpvid replicates in E. coli in the same way as Bacmid and retains infective function in cotton bollworm cells (Hz-AM1). Using Hanpvid we constructed a recombinant virus, which could infect Hz-AM1 cells and generate recombinant HaNPV (rHa-Bar) containing the barnase gene, a ribonuclease gene from Bacillus amyloliquefaciens. Since the expression vector carrying barnase gene cannot replicate in the absence of barstar, a specific inhibitor of barnase, we constructed a new cotton bollworm cell line (AM1-NB) using the marker rescue method. In AM1-NB barstar was integrated into the cellular chromosome to sustain the replication of rHa-Bar. To screen out recombinant HaNPV for potential use as biopesticide, Hz-AM1 and AM1-NB cell lines were infected with rHa-Bar, respectively. The results obtained indicate that Viral progenies in AM1-NB were 23 and 160 times greater than those in Hz-AM1 48 h and 72 h after infection, respectively. With additional insertion of the polyhedron gene from AcNPV (Autographa californica nuclear polyhedrosis virus) into the Hanpvid genome, rHa-Bar regained the polyhedron phenotype and its pest-killing rate greatly improved. Toxic analysis showed that the lethal dosages ($LD_{50}$) and the lethal time(s) ($LT_{50}$) of rHa-Bar were reduced by 20% and 30%, respectively, compared to wt-HaNPV in the third instar larvae of cotton bollworm. This study shows that in AM1-NB barnase can be effectively produced and used as pest-killing agent for the biological control of cotton pests.
