Design and Development of Multimedia Aided Distance Education System Using IP Multicasting and PC Control Technique (IP 멀티캐스팅과 PC 제어기술을 이용한 그룹 화상 원격교육시스템 설계 및 구현)

  • IP 멀티캐스팅은 네트웍을 통한 다자간 화상회의 및 인터넷 생방송 둥 네트웍기반에서 실시간 멀티미디어 데이터를 지정된 대역폭을 사용하여 1:N으로 전송하는 기술로 인터넷문화의 발달과 함께 활발히 연구가 진행되고 있는 분야이다. 본 연구시스템에서는 이와 같은 IP 멀티캐스팅 기술을 이용하여 교육자시스템에서 제공하는 교육용 멀티미디어 데이터를 실시간으로 압축하여 그룹으로 등록된 피교육자 PC에 강제적으로 멀티캐스트 하는 기능을 제공한다. 피교육자는 교육자가 제공하는 교육 미디어를 보기 위해서 별도의 작업을 각자의 PC에서 할 필요가 없으며 교육자의 시스템에 의해 일괄 제어된다. 또한 시스템 유지보수 등에 활용되고 있는 원격 PC제어기술은 그룹 내 등록된 PC를 일괄적으로 동시 통제하여 피교육자의 교육 중 일탈행위를 막고 교육자가 제공하는 교육 내용에 집중하도록 한다. 그밖에 그룹내 피교육자와 교육자간에 양방향으로 대화할 수 있도록 시스템을 구성하여 교육효과를 증대하도록 하였다.

  • 최근 기존의 고정 단말기(PC)에서만 주로 행해지던 각종 다중 사용자 접속 온라인 응용이 PC와 PDA, 휴대폰 등이 공동 작업을 수행하는 멀티 플랫폼 기반 온라인 응용으로 전환되고 있다. 그러나 지금까지 멀티 플랫폼 기반 온라인 응용은 다중 사용자 환경 및 각 클라이언트의 처리 능력과 통신 속도의 비대칭을 고려하지 않아 컨텐츠가 매우 단순한 실정이다. 이 논문에서는 멀티 플랫폼 기반 온라인 응용의 인프라 구축을 위한 기술을 개발하고자 하였다. 구체적으로 멀티 플랫폼 단말 장치간의 데이터 송수신을 위한 네트워크 구조, 다중 사용자 환경의 일관성 제어 기법, 다양한 클라이언트간의 변경 전파 기술을 제안하였다. 그리고 여러 개의 PC, PDA, 휴대폰이 연동되어 동작하는 채팅 프로그램을 제작하여 제안한 기법들이 적절히 동작함을 보였다.

  • In this paper, we propose a novel pc-based 8-channel USB interface digital multi-controller (DMC) has capacity to be able to adjust ultrasonic motor's (USM's) the parameters-frequency, amplitude, phase difference using FPGA. The proposed DMC can control parameters directly by digital logic through a FPGA. Since it has counter circuit for rotary encoder to measure position and velocity of USM, the other separate circuits are unnecessary. Therefore, it could reduce the size of controller and the production cost. Finally, to verify the performance of proposed DMC, we tested the speed characteristic of two types USM with no-load as adjusting the parameters.

  • 본 논문에서는 사출성형기의 배럴의 정밀 온도제어에 대해 논의하였다 현재 사출성형기의 온도제어는 온도 편차가 2도 내외이며, 예열후 안정화되는데 걸리는 시간이 길다는 단점이 있다. 향후 마이크로-나노 시스템 제작 공정에 있어서 대량생산 방법으로 사출성형이 주목받을 것으로 기대된다. 특히 온도 제어의 경우는 사출시 인가해야 할 온도가 녹는점 및 glassy 온도에서 유지가 되면서 충분히 유동을 가지는 온도를 지속적으로 유지를 해야하므로 사출 후 정밀성에 중요한 요소가 된다. 마이크로-나노 사출공정은 극 미세 사출이며 온도, 압력에 따른 재료 특성 변화가 발생할 수 있으므로 이를 최적의 조건으로 제어할 수 있어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 실제 사출성형기와 PC based PLC를 이용한 온도제어기를 구현하고 실험하였다. 이를 통해 기존의 온도제어의 단점을 줄이고, 제어성능을 극대화하여 향후 마이크로-나노 시스템에 적용 가능한 정밀 온도제어기를 제안한다.

A Visual Programming Environment on Tablet PCs to Control Industrial Robots (산업용 로봇 제어를 위한 태블릿 PC 기반의 비주얼 프로그래밍 연구)

  • Industrial robots have been usually controlled using text-based programming languages provided by each manufacturer with its button-based TP(Teaching Pendent) terminal. Unfortunately, when we consider that people who manipulate TPs in manufacturing sites are mostly unskilled with no background knowledge about computer programming, these text-based programming languages using button-based interaction on manufacturing sites are too difficult for them to learn and use. In order to overcome the weaknesses of the text-based programming language, we propose a visual programming language that can be easily used on gesture-enabled devices. Especially, in our visual programming environment, each command is represented as a block and robots are controlled by stacking those blocks using drag-and-drop gestures, which is easily learnable even by beginners. In this paper, we utilize a widely-spread device, Tablet PC as the gesture-enabled TP. Considering that Tablet PC has limited display space in contrast to PC environments, we designed different kinds of sets of command blocks and conducted user tests. Based on the experiment results, we propose an effective set of command blocks for Tablet PC environment.

Data Control Methods of Online Application based on Multi-Platform (멀티 플랫폼 기반 온라인 응용의 데이터 제어 기법)

  • Several multi-user online applications which are operated by the existing fixed terminals(PC) are being changed into online application based on multi-platform operated by the several PC, PDA and mobile phones to perform concurrent works recently. The contents of current online application based multi-platform are, however, very unsophisticated because the applications don't consider the simultaneous accesses of shared data by multi-user and also the asymmetry of computing power and network bandwidth among each client. This paper proposed the methods of consistency control based on multi-platform, update propagation protocols among diverse clients, object management techniques which take the characteristics of mobile clients into account. We also implemented a chatting application based on multi-platform and it showed the proposed methods perform well.

  • In this raper, We propose the alternative solution, RTOS-based system to replace the PLC 4hat has used the automation system for industrial processes. RTOS-based system is constructed the PC and RTOS as hardware and software. It overcomes the limit of PLC and guarantees the stability and reliability. Also, PC has better performance and cheaper than PLC when operating and constructing the system. For many manufactures, these benefits alone are all the reason they need to switch from PLC-based system to RTOS-based system. To use the RTOS-based System, the PLC program needs the conversion to the RTOS task. And how to transform is the most important issue. So, we propose conversion method through the system model. The system model defines the operation of each module as the task after the system divided into module. Because the system divided into modules can control, the performance and the functionality of system improve, and the system can deal with a problem easily when repairing and changing.

  • According to the development of the ubiquitous computing technic today, the sensor base system is becoming a big issue in IT fields. This study is to develop a smart weather watching system which allows us to carry out temperature measuring without regard to location and altitude using the sensor devices. this system is composed of the wireless receiver module(PC base) and the wireless measuring module(ATmega2560 base).

  • In this paper proposed the solar tracking system to use a fuzzy based on PC in of order to increase an output of the PV(Photovoltaic) array. The solar tracking system operated two DC motors driving by signal of photo sensor. The control of dual axes is not an easy task due to nonlinear dynamics and unavailability of the parameters. Recently, artificial intelligent control of the fuzzy control, neural-network and genetic algorithm etc. have been studies. The fuzzy control made a nonlinear dynamics to well perform and had a robust and highly efficient characteristic about a parameter variable as well as a nonlinear characteristic. Hence the fuzzy control was used to perform the tracking system after comparing with error values of setting-up, nonlinear altitude and azimuth. In this paper designed a fuzzy controller for improving output of PV array and evaluated comparison with efficient of conventional PI controller. The data which were obtained by experiment were able to show a validity of the proposed controller.

  • The automatic control and motion control technology including the sensor network technology are important in the ubiquitous environment to make human life easy. In the industrial site and living environment, the demand for the motion control technology and position control technology which are faster and more precise is increasing. Especially, demand for the PC based motion control system is mounting in order to keep up with the improved GUI environment and ever-changing industrial site. This research is focused to develop the Highly Efficient 2-axis Step Motion Control System which can be variously applied in the industrial site on the basis of the LabVIEW - graphic code programming language - with user interface, using the NI PXI-7352 controller and the NI step motor in which it provides the high reliability and the precise motion control.
