  • This paper applied to the Korean Lesson using PBL(Problem-Based Learning) based on Google Classroom for Mongolians. Recently, Mongolians trying to learn Korean because of Korean wave. This study aims to develop the online problem-based learning model as a way to develop the creative problem-solving ability of Mongolians who want to learn Korean. We applied 3 problems for 9 weeks. This study shows that the participants experienced the effectiveness of Google Classroom and PBL in many ways, 93% of the participants reported that Google Classroom and PBL helped them to learn Korean easily and interesting distance learning model, 90% of the participants prefer to explore Googlish programs and online learning, 85% of them said that increased interaction others in online environment easily. 100% of them said that thankful for learning Korean with Online tutor anytime on Google Classroom. Truly, 86% of them said PBL was hard to generate and understand it because very new instruction for them and working with team in online learning environment. The study showed that members of Korean Lesson experienced various effects such as understanding of learning contents, understanding of cooperative learning, practical experience, creative problem solving ability, presentation skill, communication ability, self - directed learning ability, self - confidence through Google Classroom based PBL.

  • Problem-based learning (PBL) is applied to various subjects for the sake of learners' creative thinking, problem-solving skills, presentation skills, confidence, self-directed learning, cooperation, and for the communication skills required in a rapidly changing society. Among them, the English language-an official language-is invested in 2.3 times more than other subjects, according to the English education company Yoon's Teacher. Therefore, PBL is an important learning method. However, the reality is that teacher-centered instruction, acquiring knowledge of the best answers only, and traditional evaluations are the main subjects. In order to supplement these weak points, this study designed a learning model for English subjects based on Barrows & Myers (2002) and the analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate (ADDIE) model. As a result of a PBL English class based on the ADDIE model, the learners were able to improve their presentation skills by 86%, their interest in learning by 86%, their understanding of learning by 86%, and cooperation by 100%. As such, studies on designing the learning model should be carried out continuously to achieve the purpose of 21st century English education, which is to improve learners' communication skills and information processing skills.

  • In the 21st century, university education is changing from an objective knowledge and information to critical thinking and problem-solving ability. Moreover, university education should change rapidly towards a learner-centered educational environment because it has an educational goal to have college students experience authentic tasks they will be in charge of after graduation, and improves self-directed learning ability and cooperative learning ability. PBL is a pedagogical strategy for posing significant, contextualized, real world situations, and providing resources, guidance, and instruction to learners as they develop content knowledge and problem-solving skills. In problem based learning, the students collaborate to study the issues of a problem as they strive to create viable solution. For these advantages of PBL, the application of PBL in school has been enlarged. On the other hand, the application of PBL in engineering education has not been enlarged. To improve these instruction methods, the development or applications of new instructional methods will be needed. This study examined the PBL instructional design of a creative engineering design subject, which aims to foster talent. The PBL model developed in this study consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. A plan of creative engineering design subject was developed based on PBL, and focused on the process of PBL. To determine the effects of this model, studies applying this instructional design to many lecturers should be implemented.

  • The Internet is appearing a new paradigm called Web 2.0 which 'Participation', 'Sharing', 'Openness', 'Cooperation'. Web 2.0 is expanded by experts and general users and many people's ideas can solve more problems than an expert's idea. The collective intelligence is techniques that express the valuable of Web 2.0. For this reason, the collective intelligence has attracted attention because of its potential as an educational tool. The purpose of this study is to develop a PBL-based programming instruction model using collective intelligence to improve students' problem solving abilities and programming attitudes and verified its effectiveness. As a result, the developed instruction model showed significant differences in the students' problem solving abilities and programming attitudes. According to these results, these have been proved that a PBL-based programming instruction model using collective intelligence has an influence to the students' problem solving abilities and programming attitudes.

  • Purpose: This research is a case study on a problem-based learning (PBL) model with blended learning in a nursing college. Methods: The target students were nursing sophomores in a nursing college who agreed to participate in a blended learning course and to be subjects in this study for 15 weeks. The questionnaires developed by Baek (2003) and Lee (2007) were modified and applied to collect data. Results: The students' satisfaction with the blending learning was the highest in the item "Online community activities were helpful in enhancing knowledge." The level of satisfaction with PBL was the highest in the item "It was helpful to listen my classmates' opinions rather than thinking all by myself." Conclusion: This study is suggestive that blended learning is effective to improve learning satisfaction by reinforcing practicality of face-to-face study to online learning. Various learning methods based on students' demands and preferences should be applied in nursing education.
