Wavelet Transform을 이용한 P파 검출에 관한 연구 (P-wave Detection Using Wavelet Transform)

  • The purpose of this paper is to improve the P-wave detection capacity using wavelet transform. The first procedure is to remove baseline drift using the median filter. The second procedure is to cancel ECG's QRS-T complex with ECG's QRS-T complex templete to get P-wave candidate. Before we cancelled out the QRS-T complex, we estimated the best matching between templete and QRS-T complex to minimize the error. Then, Harr wavelet was used to eleminate the high frequency noise of ECG wave form cancelled the QRS-T complex. Finally, P-wave was discriminated and confirmed by threshold value. By using this method, We can got the around 95.1% P-wave detection.

높은 항복전압을 위한 InP 합성 채널 MHEMT의 성능과 특성에 대한 연구 (Study of performance and characteristics of InP-composite channel MHEMT for High Breakdown Voltage)

  • To perform the comparative study, we experimented on two differential epitaxial structures, the conventional Metamorphic High Electron Mobility Transistor (MHEMT) using the InAlAs/InGaAs structure and the InP-composite channel MHEMT adopting the InAlAs/InGaAs/InP/n-InP structure. Compared to the conventional MHEMT, the InP-composite channel MHEMT shows improved breakdown performance; over about 3.5 V. This increased breakdown voltage can be explained by the lower impact ionization coefficient of the InP-composite channel MHEMT than that of the conventional MHEMT.

  • IEEE WAVE(Wireless Access in Vehicular Environment)는 고속으로 이동중인 차량간 혹은 차량과 도로변 장치간의 통신을 위한 무선 엑세스 시스템으로써 5GHz DSRC 대역에서 동작하며 IEEE TGp와 P1609/1554 WG을 중심으로 표준화 작업이 진행 중이다. WAVE의 P1609.3은 신속한 링크 설정 및 데이터 전송을 위하여 멀티채널 데이터 전송과 PST/UST 기반 링크 설정 기능을 정의한다. 본 논문에서는 향후 차량 통신 환경에서 주요 무선 엑세스 기술로써 활용될 WAVE시스템의 프로토콜 및 ITS 어플리케이션 개발을 위하여 WAVE 에뮬레이터를 개발하고 공공 안전 서비스 및 멀티미디어 파일 다운로드 서비스를 제공하는 ITS 어플리케이션을 이용하여 에뮬레이터의 동작을 검증한다.

Pseudo 3D FEM analysis for wave passage effect on the response spectrum of a building built on soft soil layer

  • Spatially variable ground motions can be significant on the seismic response of a structure due to the incoherency of the incident wave. Incoherence of the incident wave is resulted from wave passage and wave scattering. In this study, wave passage effect on the response spectrum of a building structure built on a soft soil layer was investigated utilizing a finite element program of P3DASS (Pseudo 3-dimensional Dynamic Analysis of a Structure-soil System). P3DASS was developed for the axisymmetric problem in the cylindrical coordinate, but it is modified to apply anti-symmetric input earthquake motions. Study results were compared with the experimental results to verify the reliability of P3DASS program for the shear wave velocity of 250 m/s and the apparent shear wave velocities of 2000-3500 m/s. Studied transfer functions of input motions between surface mat foundation and free ground surface were well-agreed to the experimental ones with a small difference in all frequency ranges, showing some reductions of the transfer function in the high frequency range. Also wave passage effect on the elastic response spectrum reduced the elastic seismic response of a SDOF system somewhat in the short period range.

  • 차량통신은 통신시스템과 차량산업을 융합하여 ITS(Intelligent Transport Systems) 분야에서 다양한 서비스 제공을 위해 고려되어 왔다. 일반적으로 차량통신은 WAVE(Wireless Access in Vehicular Environments)라고 알려져 있는 IEEE 802.11p/1609표준을 채택하여 vehicle-to-vehicle(V2V)와 vehicle-to-infra(V2I) 통신에 이용된다. WAVE 시스템은 OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) 신호를 5.835~5.925 GHz대의 주파수를 사용하여 전송하는 시스템이다. 본 논문에서는 IEEE 802.11p 표준에 따라 구현한 WAVE 시스템의 MAC(Media Access Control)단에서 채널 모니터링을 32 비트 처리한 다음 데이터를 수신하여 성능을 평가하였다. 실제 고속도로에서 OBU(On Board Unit)로 구성된 테스트베드를 구축하고, OBU간에 WSM(WAVE Short Message)을 무선으로 송수신한 다음, 프레임 당 채널 점유 시간과 처리량을 산출하였다.

Contextual information 을 이용한 P파 검출에 관한 연구 (Improvement of ECG P wave Detection Performance Using CIR(Contextusl Information Rule-base) Algorithm)

  • The automated ECG diagnostic systems that are odd in hospitals have low performance of P-wave detection when faced with some diseases such as conduction block. So, the purpose of this study was the improvement of detection performance in conduction block which is low in P-wave detection. The first procedure was removal of baseline drift by subtracting the median filtered signal of 0.4 second length from the original signal. Then the algorithm detected R peak and T end point and cancelled the QRS-T complex to get'p prototypes'. Next step was magnification of P prototypes with dispersion and detection of'p candidates'in the magnified signal, and then extraction of contextual information concerned with P-waves. For the last procedure, the CIR was applied to P candidates to confirm P-waves. The rule base consisted of three rules that discriminate and confirm P-waves. This algorithm was evaluated using 500 patient's raw data P-wave detection perFormance was in- creased 6.8% compared with the QRS-T complex cancellation method without application of the rule base.

단계별 기저선 정렬을 이용한 ECG 신호에서 P파와 T파 검출 알고리즘 (P-Waves and T-Wave Detection Algorithm in the ECG Signals Using Step-by-Step Baseline Alignment)

  • The detection of P-waves and T-wave in the electrocardiogram signal analysis is an important issue. But the accuracy of the boundary detection algorithm is an insufficient level in the change of slow transition in the signal compared to the QRS complex. This study proposes an algorithm to detect P-wave and T-wave sequentially after determining local baseline using QRS complex. First, we detected the peak points based on local baseline and determined the onset and offset through the calculation of the area of the section. After modifying the baseline using detected waveform, we detected the other waveform in the same way and separated the P-wave and the T-wave based on the location. We used the PhysioNet QT database to evaluate the performances of the algorithm, and calculate the mean and the standard deviations. The experiment results show that standard deviations are under the tolerances accepted by expert physicians, and outperform the results obtained by the other algorithms.

Proposed dynamic p-y curves on a single pile considering shear wave velocity of soil

  • The dynamic behavior of a single pile was investigated by using analytical and numerical studies. The focus of this study was to develop the dynamic p-y curve of a pile for pseudo-static analysis considering the shear wave velocity of the soil by using three-dimensional numerical analyses. Numerical analyses were conducted for a single pile in dry sand under changing conditions such as the shear wave velocity of the soil and the acceleration amplitudes. The proposed dynamic p-y curve is a shape of hyperbolic function that was developed to take into account the influence of the shear wave velocity of soil. The applicability of pseudo-static analysis using the proposed dynamic p-y curve shows good agreement with the general trends observed by dynamic analysis. Therefore, the proposed dynamic p-y curve represents practical improvements for the seismic design of piles.

  • In offshore, various external forces such as wind force, wave force and impulsive breaking wave force act on offshore structures. Many researches about this forces are published. Kim and Cao(2008) published researche on wave force of vertical cylinder. Kim and Go(2013) performed research on the subgrade reaction by external forces. Among this forces, impulsive breaking force is more massive than other forces, especially. Therefore, the studies about impulsive breaking wave forces have been carried out. Chun and Shim(1999) analyzed dynamic behavior of cylindrical pile subjected to impulsive breaking wave force. In this study, when the impulsive breaking wave force acts on the offshore wind turbine, the subgrade reaction acting on the mono-pile of the offshore wind turbine is calculated by p-y curve. The calculation is carried out to the multi-layered.
