  • 최근 도시지역에서의 교량가설시 P.C BOX GR. 교량이 차지하는 비율이 점차 증가하면서 도심교통난 유발을 최소화 할 수 있는 가설공법에 대한 필요성이 증대되고 있는 상황에서 Precast Element를 이용하여 P.C BOX GR.의 Cantilever 길이를 길게하여 MAIN BOX GR.의 폭을 감소시켜 광폭(B=20M이상)의 상부구조물 일지라도 하부구조를 일주식 교각으로 설치가능할 뿐만 아니라 MAIN BOX GR. 가설시 어떤 가설공법도 적용가능하므로 현장여건에 가장 적합한 가설공법을 용이하게 P.C BOX GR. 공법을 소개하고자 한다.

  • Advanced Real-Time Satellite Simulator(ARTSS) has been developed to support the telemetry, tracking and command operations of the ETRI satellite control system and to provide satellite engineers a more powerful and informative satellite simulations tool on the desktop. To provide extensive simulation functions for a communication satellite system in the pre-operational and operational missions, ARTSS uses a geosynchronous orbit(GEO) satellite model consisting of the attitude and orbit control subsystem, the power subsystem, the thermal subsystem, the telemetry, command and ranging subsystem, and the communications payload subsystem. In this paper, the system features and functions are presented and the satellite subsystem models are explained in detail.

DES 키 확장을 이용한 가변 P box 생성에 관한 연구 (A Study on a Variable P box Generation Using a DES Key Expansion)

  • DES 확장키를 이용하여 가변 P box를 생성하고 이용하는 블록암호를 제안하였다. 매 라운드마다 가변 P box를 구현할 때 효율적으로 실행 할 수 있는 방안도 제시하였다. 차분 공격과 선형 공격에 관한 반례를 제시함으로 제안된 알고리즘이 기존의 두 공격으로부터 안전함을 보였다. 제안된 알고리즘과 3중 DES(3DES)에서 사용되는 실 키 길이 비교는 전수공격 측면에서 제안된 알고리즘이 3DES보다 더 안전함을 보인다. 3DES와 제안된 알고리즘의 컴퓨터 실험 결과 암호처리 속도측면에서 제안된 알고리즘이 3DES보다 3배정도 빠름을 보였다.

Characterization of a Putative F-box Motif in Ibd1p/Bfalp, a Spindle Checkpoint Regulator of Budding Yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae

  • During mitosis. the proper segregation of duplicated chromosomes is corrdinated by a spindle check-point. The bifurcated spindle checkpoint blocks cell cycle progression at metaphase by monitoring unattached kinetochores and inhibits mitotic exit in response to the misorientation of the mitotic spin- dle Ibd1p/Bfa1p is a spindle checkpoint regulator of budding yeast in the Bub2p checkpoint pathway for mitotic exit and its disruption abolishes mitotic arrest when proper organization of the mitotic spin-dls inhibited. Ibd1p/Bfa1p localizes to the spindle pole body, a microtublue-organizing center in yeast, and its overexpression arrests the cell cycle in 80% of cells with an enlarged budy at mitosis and in 20 % of cells with multiple buds. In this study, we found that the C-terminus of Ibd1p/Bfa1p phys-ically interacts with Skp1p, a key component of SCF (Skp1/cullin/F-box) complex for ubiquition-medi-ated proteolysis of cel cycle regulatores as well as an evolutionally conserved kinetochore protein for cell cycle progression. A putative F-box motif was found in the C-terminus of Ibd1p/Bfa1p and its function was investigated by making mutants of conserved residues in the motif. These Ibd1p/Bfa1p mutants of a putative F-box interacted with SKp1p in vitro by two-hybrid assays as wild type Ibd1p/Bfa1p. Also these Ibd1p/Bfa1p utants displayed the overexpression phenotypes of wild type Ibd1p, when over-expressed under inducible promoters . These results suggest that a putative F-box motif of Ibd1p/Bfa1p is not essential for the interaction with SKp1p and its function in mitotic exit and cytokinesis.

  • The POSTECH Hand adopting coupled tendon driven technique with planar two fingers is developed. The hand is designed to emulate principal motions of the human hand which has two and three joints respectively. Its kinematic parameters are determined through a parameter optimizing technique to aim at improving the isotropy of fingertip motions with new criterion functions of design. For the control of the hand, tension and torque control algorithms are developed. Based on the virtual stiffness concept, we develop the stiffness control method of a grasped object with redundant finger mechnism and investigate experimentally.

  • Tendon driven method to drive one joint using two actuators is developed and implemented. While the method has advantages over conventional transmissions, it also has several drawbacks like tendon slack, elongation and endurability. In this paper, a compensation method of the intrinsic non-linearities of tendon is proposed to improve the performance of antagonistic tendon driven method. In this method, tendon tension measurement is prerequisite which is measured with strain gauge type tension sensor. The developed method is implemented on one link test bed with colocated and non-colocated position sensor.

Adaptive control strategy in electromagnetic levitation system

  • This paper deals with control system design strategy for electrolmaginetic suspension (E.M.S.) system. For a successful control of E.M.S. system, the nature of E.M.S. system is deeply studied in the view point of non-linear, open-loop unstable, time-varying, non-minimum phase system. To find a special control treatment for E.M.S. system, analyses and simulations for various models are carried out. As one of the successful candidates, adaptive control concept is introduced and sample hardware system using digital signal processor is implemented.
