MPPT 알고리즘의 주기에 따른 발전 영향 분석 (Analysis of Power Generation Characteristics according to the MPPT Algorithm Period)

  • In this paper, we compared power generation characteristics of two MPPT algorithms, P & O and InC, applied to grid-connected solar inverters. The MPPT detects the voltage and current of the solar module string and transfers the power to the DC link. Since the grid is connected by the power conversion circuit, the grid connection control and the MPPT control influence each other. The power generation characteristics were analyzed by Psim simulation according to the MPPT cycle in the weak grid conditions.

The Role of Janus Kinase in Superoxide-mediated Proliferation of Diabetic Vascular Smooth Muscle Cells

  • To elucidate a potential molecular link between diabetes and atherosclerosis, we investigated the role of Janus tyrosine kinase(JAK) for NAD(P)H oxidase-derived superoxide generation in the enhanced proliferative capacity of vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMC) of Otsuka Long-Evans Tokushima Fatty(OLETF) rat, an animal model of type 2 diabetes. An enhanced proliferative response to 10% fetal bovine serum(FBS) and superoxide generation with an increased NAD(P)H oxidase activity were observed in diabetic(OLETF) VSMC. Both the enhanced proliferation and superoxide generation in diabetic VSMC were significantly attenuated by AG490, JAK2 inhibitor, and PP2, Src kinase inhibitor. Tyrosine phosphorylation of proteins in diabetic VSMC, especially JAK2, was increased compared to control VSMC. Furthermore, the enhanced NAD(P)H oxidase activity in diabetic VSMC was significantly attenuated by AG490 in a dose-dependent manner. Together, these results indicate that the signal pathway which leads to diabetes-associated activation of Src kinase/JAK is critically involved in the diabetic VSMC proliferation through NAD(P)H oxidase activation and superoxide generation.

  • In this study, 20.8% of a p-type Si bifacial solar cell was used to develop a photovoltaic (PV) module to obtain the maximum power under a limited installation area. The transparent back sheet material was replaced during fabrication with a white one, which is opaque in commercial products. This is very beneficial for the generation of more electricity, owing to the additional power generation via absorption of light from the rear side. A new model is suggested herein to predict the power of the bifacial PV module by considering the backside reflections from the roof and/or environment. This model considers not only the frontside reflection, but also the nonuniformity of the backside light sources. Theoretical predictions were compared to experimental data to prove the validity of this model, the error range for which ranged from 0.32% to 8.49%. Especially, under $700W/m^2$, the error rate was as low as 2.25%. This work could provide theoretical and experimental bases for application to a distributed and microgrid network.

Sulfhydryl기와 세포막 구성성분의 대사 변화에 따른 다형핵 백혈구 기능의 변경 (Alteration of PMN Leukocyte Function by the Change of Sulfhydryl Group and Metabolism of Membrane Components)

  • 면역 보체가 결합되어 있는 zymosan에 의하여 활성화된 다형핵 백혈구에서 세포 투과성 물질인 N-ethylmaleiamide과 $Hg^{++}$은 superoxide 라디칼 생성, NADPH oxidase 활성도 및 lysosomal enzyme (lactic dehydrogenase, ${\beta}-glucuronidase$)의 유리를 억제하였다. 세포막 단백에 특이적인 p-chloromercuribenzoic acid와 p-chloromercuribenzenesulfonic acid는 superoxide 라디칼 생성에 영향을 주지 않았으나 NADPH oxidase 활성도와 lysosomal enzyme의 유리를 억제하였다. 식작용 중에 세포막과 세포내의 sulfhydryl기는 반응시간에 따라 점진적으로 감소하였다. N-ethylmaleiamide와 $Hg^{++}$은 세포막과 세포내의 sulfhydryl기를 모두 감소시켰다. P-Chloromercuribenzoic acid와 p-chloromercuribenzenesulfonic acid는 세포막의 sulfhydryl기를 유의하게 감소시켰으나 세포내 용해성 sulfhydryl기에는 영향을 주지않았다. Cysteine과 mercaptopropionylglycine는 superoxide 라디칼의 생성과 lysosomal enzyme의 유리를 억제하였다. Gluthathione은 superoxide생성에 영향을 주지 않았으나 뚜렷하게 lactic dehydrogenase의 유리를 억제하였다. N-ethylmaleiamide에 의한 superoxide 생성의 억제는 cysteine과 mercaptopropionyl-glycine에 의하여 반전되었으나 gluthathione의 영향은 없었다. N-ethylamleiamide에 의한 NADPH oxidase의 비활성화는 gluthathione, cysteine과 mercaptopropionylglycine에 의하여 저해되었다. Carbachol에 의하여 항진된 superoxide 라디칼 생성은 N-ethylamleiamide에 의하여 완전히 억제되었고, atropine에 의하여 길항되었다. 그러므로, 외부 자극에 대한 다형핵 백혈구 반응의 표현은 sulfhydryl기의 양의 변화와 연관이 있을 것으로 시사되었다. Lysosomal enzyme 유리는 세포막과 세포내의 sulfhydryl기에 의하여, 이에 반하여 superoxide생성은 세포내 sulfhydryl기에 의해서 영향받을 것으로 추정되었다.

형질전환 생쥐에서 제10세대까지 TPO 유전자의 안정적 전이와 지속적인 발현 (Stable Transmission and Expression of TPO Transgene up to 10 Generation in the Transgenic Mice)

  • 형질전환 동물의 유선에서 특이적으로 인간 TPO가 발현되도록 고안된 pBT-L 외래유전자가 삽입되어 한 계통으로 확립된 형질전환 생쥐에서 이 유전자가 장기 세대까지 안정적으로 전이되고, 또한 발현 수준도 지속적으로 유지되는지를 조사 하였다 이를 위해 제 5세대의 수컷 pBT-L 형질전환 생쥐를 실험에 공시하였고, 제 10세대까지의 전이율과 인간 TPO의 발현수준을 분석하였다. 제 8세대 생쥐의 계대 번식에 의한 자손 중 51.3$\pm$18.98%가 형질전환 생쥐로 판명되었다. 또한 제9세대에서 외래 유전자의 전이율은 43.8$\pm$18.98%이었고, 제 10세대에서는 71.4$\pm$26.98%의 전이율을 나타내었다. 이러한 결과로 pBT-L 형질전환 생쥐는 그 외래유전자의 유전적 손상이 없이 장기 세대까지 안정적으로 전이되는 것으로 판단된다. 제 9세대외 10세대의 3마리의 암컷 형질전환 생쥐로 부터 유즙내 인간 TPO의 발현 수준을 분석하였을때, 그 농도는 모두 평균 1.1 mg/ml의 수준에서 측정되었다. 이러한 수준은 제 2세대의 것과 유사한 결과로 pBT-L 형질전환 생쥐에서 인간 TPO 유전자의 발현은 최소한 10세대까지 지속적으로 유지된다는 것을 알 수 있었고, 더 긴 장기 세대까지도 발현 수준이 유지될 것으로 추정된다. 이러한 연구결과는 계통으로 확립된 형질전환동물에 부여된 새로운 유전형질은 장기 세대까지 유전될 수 있음을 보여주는 것이다.

Parameter Optimization for Cost Reduction of Microbubble Generation by Electrolysis

  • To lower the operational cost of microbubble generation by electrolysis, optimization of parameters limiting the process must be carried out for the process to be fully adopted in environmental and industrial settings. In this study, four test electrodes were used namely aluminum, iron, stainless steel, and Dimensionally Sable Anode (DSA). We identified the effects and optimized each operational parameter including NaCl concentration, current density, pH, and electrode distance to reduce the operational cost of microbubble generation. The experimental results showed that was directly related to the rate and cost of microbubble generation. Adding NaCl and narrowing the distance between electrodes caused no substantial changes to the generation rate but greatly decreased the power requirement of the process, thus reducing operational cost. Moreover, comparison among the four electrodes operating under optimum conditions revealed that aluminum was the most efficient electrode in terms of generation rate and operational cost. This study therefore presents significant data on performing costefficient microbubble generation, which can be used in various environmental and industrial applications.

  • 본 논문에서는 유한체 P=3에서 GRM 상수의 극수가 가진 순환적인 성질을 이용하여 새로운 GRM 상수 생성에 대한 방법을 제안하였으며, 또한, 극수들을 비교하여 최적의 GRM 상수를 생성하는 방법에 대해서 논의하였다.

Investigation on Terahertz Generation by GaP Ridge Waveguide Based on Cascaded Difference Frequency Generation

  • Terahertz (THz) generation by a GaP ridge waveguide with a collinear modal phase-matching scheme based on cascaded difference frequency generation (DFG) processes is theoretically analyzed. The cascaded Stokes interaction processes and the cascaded anti-Stokes interaction processes are investigated from coupled wave equations. THz intensities and quantum conversion efficiency are calculated. Compared with non-cascaded DFG processes, THz intensities from 11-order cascaded DFG processes are increased to 5.48. The quantum conversion efficiency of 177.9% in cascaded processes can be realized, exceeding the Manley-Rowe limit.

  • If proper design and selection of the working fluid are made the power generation system of temperature difference could achieve more efficient results than others. This paper is to analysis the production of its power generation due to several parameters. Making the power generation system, the characteristics of power output are investigated to obtain its basic data for design. This results of this experiment are as follows. 1. The most proper working fluid in the system is Freon-22 having high stability and difference between the outlet pressure, $P_E$ of evaporator and outlet pressure, $P_c$ of Condenser. 2. With the increase of temperature difference between evaporator and condenser, the output in the system increases linearly. 3. The generation efficiency is largely dependent on the type or form of propeller, nozzle and optimum design of heat exchanger.

Efficient Second Harmonic Generation of Pulsed Nd-YAG Laser Radiation with Noncritically Phase-Matchable $LiNbO_3$ in Room-Temperature

  • 0.65 mol% MgO-doped LiNbO$_3$single crystals were grown by CZ method. The obtained single crystals were colorless and transparent. Noncritically phase-matched second harmonic generation (SHG) of 532-nm radiation from 1064-nm in MgO-doped LiNbO$_3$has been investigated by using pulsed Nd:YAG laser. The phase-matching temperature was room temperature. SHG conversion efficiencies were typically achieved higher than 50% at the phase-matching temperature with no photorefractive damage in the region of fundamental power density which was used in this experiment. The thermo-birefringence coefficient and the electro-birefringence coefficient of SHG were calculated from the temperature phase-matching profile with the electric field.
