Given the intense competition and slowdown in domestic demands, there is greater pressure on Singapore contractors to seek overseas markets for revenue and growth. This impetus, coupled with emerging economic reforms in the regional developing countries, has invariably created numerous opportunities for Singapore contractors. However, mixed results were reported on their overseas performance so far. Consequently, this paper aims to formulate a framework that would assist Singapore contractors to successfully export their services into developing countries. The proposed framework comprises ten critical success factors (CSFs), which are identified from in-depth interviews with eight Singapore contractors. These ten success factors are subsequently classified under three different stages, namely initial, entry and operational stages. Preliminary results show that Singapore contractors are most focused on the entry stage, with the highest number of CSFs.

이 연구에서는 해외 도서관의 LD 구축 사례를 발행 데이터세트, 재사용 어휘집, 인터링킹 외부 데이터세트를 중심으로 분석하고, 분석 결과를 토대로 국내도서관의 LD 구축 방안에 대한 기초적인 데이터를 확보하였다. 21개 해외 도서관 사례 분석 결과, 해외 도서관은 충실한 전거 LD를 구축하였고, 발행 LD를 활용한 새로운 서비스를 진행하였다. 이를 위해 해외 도서관은 도서관의 주도하에 다른 도서관과 문화기관들과 지역 내에서, 국가 내에서, 국가적으로 협력하였고, 이러한 협력을 바탕으로 특성화된 데이터세트를 발행하였다. 해외 도서관은 발행 LD의 가시성을 높이기 위해 Schema.org를 사용하였고, 기술의 세분화를 위해 BIBFRAME 등을 사용하여 다양한 개체를 정의하고, 정의된 개체에 기반하여 LD를 구축하였다. 해외 도서관은 다양한 개체를 관련 정보 연계와 검색 결과 디스플레이, 브라우징, 대량 다운로드에 활용하였다. 해외 도서관은 인터링킹 외부 데이터세트를 지속해서 현행화하였고, 외부 데이터를 직접적으로 활용하여 목록정보를 보강하였다. 이 연구에서는 도출된 시사점을 토대로 국내도서관의 LD 구축 시 고려할 점을 제안하였다. 연구 결과는 향후 국내도서관이 LD 서비스를 계획하거나 기존 서비스를 고도화할 때 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

Large spatial construction needs to consider various construction management factors through the construction guide, including high-tech roofing works for creating large space without columns and erecting large spatial structure. However, the domestic large spatial construction relies on overseas construction technologies due to the lack of construction guide of large spatial construction and experience in similar type of project. To improve the problem, we deduced principal items of construction management considering characteristics of large spatial construction as a preliminary study for developing a construction guide.

산림자원관리의 선진화를 위해서는 산림 관련 산업 종사자의 고령화와 인력 중심의 현장조사 체계 등의 문제해결이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 과학적인 산림자원관리를 위해 최신 기술이 적용된 해외 산림공간정보 구축 및 활용동향을 조사하여 국내 적용 방안을 파악하고자 하였다. 해외에서는 산림공간정보 구축 및 활용에 사진측량 및 LiDAR 기술이 활용되고 있었다. 사진측량의 경우 식생의 체적, 흉고직경, 수고 측정 등에 이용되었으며, LiDAR는 흉고직경 및 수고 측정에 적용된 사례가 있었다. 해외 사례에 대한 분석을 통해 사진측량 및 LiDAR를 활용한 산림공간정보 구축방안을 파악하였으며, LiDAR가 사진측량에 비해 높은 정확도를 나타냄을 알 수 있었다. 향후 다양한 LiDAR 센서를 이용한 산림공간정보의 구축을 수행하고, 정확도 및 작업 효율에 대한 분석이 이루어진다면 국내 산림공간정보 구축에 있어 새로운 기술의 활용 가능성을 제시할 수 있을 것이다.

본 논문에서는 SW교육을 효과적으로 운영할 수 있는 교실 모델을 마련하기 위하여 해외의 창의적인 교육 공간 구축 사례를 탐색하고 초중등학교 교사들을 대상으로 요구 조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 해외 사례에서는 다양한 형태로 교실을 구축하고 교실 내 가구를 여러 가지 모양과 크기로 제작하여 비치하였으며, 첨단 기자재를 이용한 사례를 탐색하였다. 교육현장 요구조사 결과, 수업 방법에 따라 시설을 자유롭게 움직여 공간을 재구조화할 수 있는 유동형으로 설치를 가장 희망하는 것으로 나타났다. 기존 컴퓨터실을 리모델링 할 경우, 최신 PC, 노트북, 스마트 패드를 혼합하여 교체하고 3D 프린터를 추가로 설치하길 희망하였다. 한편, SW교실을 신규로 설치할 경우 최신 PC, 노트북, 스마트 패드를 혼합하여 설치하고 전자칠판을 설치하길 가장 희망하는 것으로 나타났다. 분석 결과는 향후 SW교육을 위해 컴퓨터실을 재구축하거나 인프라를 구축하는데 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

In this work, risks in EPC project for overseas power plant projects are analyzed and risk management methods are suggested to reduce cost and to shorten time. 79% of risks occurred in the engineering phase for S project located in South-East Asia. The impact scales of risks on major project objectives which are cost, time, scope, and quality are analyzed as 3.5, 3.8, 2.7, and 3.7, respectively. The level of impact scales is very similar to each other except the impact scale of scope. The risk management methods suggested in this study have to be applied at the appropriate time to manage risks effectively. After that, risks are managed continuously by monitoring.
