Based on the findings of Lee et al.(2020) and Lee & Oh(2021), this paper aims to fill the gap in our knowledge regarding the relationship between strategic choices and corporate growth by utilizing a novel dataset of 'Unicorn' and 'Hyper-growing' companies. Two previous studies provide coherent findings that the relationship between firms' strategies and their performance should be explored under a more comprehensive framework with consideration of both internal and external factors. Therefore, in this study, we apply a single conceptual framework to two different datasets, which considers the strategy factors as independent variables, and the industry(market) and the firm age as moderating variables. For our dependent variables, valuations for unicorn companies and revenue CAGR for hyper-growing companies are used after categorizing them into three uniform groups. The strategy variables include 'Generic (Cost-leadership, Differentiation, focus) strategies', 'Growth(Organic, M&A) strategies', 'Leading(Pioneer, Fast-follower) strategies', 'Target market(B2B, B2C, B2G, C2C) strategies', 'Global(Global, Local) strategies', 'Digital(Online, Offline) strategies.' For industry(market) factors, it consists of historical growth rate for industries and economic, demographic, and regulatory aspects of states and countries. To overcome the differences in their units, they are also uniformly categorized into multiple groups. Before we conduct a regression analysis, we analyze the industry distribution of the 'Unicorn' and the 'Hyper-growing' companies with descriptive statistics at the integrated and individual levels. Next, we employ hierarchical regression models on Study A('Unicorn' companies in 2019) and Study B('Hyper-growing' companies in 2019) under the same comprehensive framework. We then analyze the relationship between the 'strategy' and the 'performance' factors with two different approaches: 1) an integrated regression model with both the sample of Study A and B and 2) respective regression models on Study A and B. This empirical study aims to provide a complete understanding and a reference to which strategy factors should be considered to promote firms' scale-up and growth.
Analyzing the aftermath of events at domestic nuclear power plants brings in the question: "Why do workers not comply with the prescribed procedures?" The current investigation of nuclear power plant events identifies their reasons considering the factors affecting the workers' behaviors. However, there are some complications to it: in addition to confirming the action such as an error or a violation, there is a limit to identifying the intention of the actor. To overcome this limitation, the study analyzed and examined the reasons for non-compliance identified in nuclear power plant events by Reason's rule-related behavior classification. For behavior analysis, I selected unit behaviors for events that are related to human and organizational factors and occurred at domestic nuclear power plants since 2017, and then I applied the rule-related behavior classification introduced by Reason (2008). This allowed me to identify the intentions by classifying unit behaviors according to quality and compliance with the rules. I also identified the factors that influenced unit behaviors. The analysis showed that most often, non-compliance only pursued personal goals and was based on inadequate risk appraisal. On the other hand, the analysis identified cases where it was caused by such factors as poorly written procedures or human system interfaces. Therefore, the probability of non-compliance can be reduced if these factors are properly addressed. Unlike event investigation techniques that struggle to identify the reasons for employee behavior, this study provides a new interpretation of non-compliance in nuclear power plant events by examining workers' intentions based on the concept of rule-related behavior classification.

In this study, we identify the obstacles that occur through the relationship between I-U cooperation and look for factors that can overcome them in the 'university administration's efforts' and 'Trust between I-U'. In the study of existing I-U cooperation, the relationship between industry and university has accumulated experiences and various channels of bilateral cooperation by sustaining interactions and absorbing capacity of knowledge by path dependence. However, as cooperation increases, 'I-U cooperation barrier' are inevitable, which is explained by two perspectives: 'Difference in mutual recognition' and 'Institutional barriers'. In order to induce the achievement of effective I-U cooperation, it is necessary to overcome these obstacles stemming from mutual relations, and it will be possible to maintain the relationship of continuous I-U cooperation. The researchers conducted research on companies participating in the I-U cooperation technology development project of the 'Ministry of Small and Medium Venture Business', which is a representative I-U cooperation program in Korea. This project will be promoted in the 'Small & Medium Business I-U cooperation Center', an administration-dedicated organization of the university. The researchers measure 'University administration's efforts' and 'Trust between I-U'to overcome'I-U cooperation barrier' In order to clarify the data of the research sample, a questionnaire survey of organizational units was conducted for all companies participating in the 'I-U cooperation technology development projects' of the SMEs and Startups between 2011 and 2015, and the responses of 356 organizations were drawn. The results showed that the higher the level of 'University administration's efforts' and Trust between I-U', the lower 'Difference in mutual recognition' and 'Institutional barriers'. Particularly, it showed higher explanatory power to overcome 'Institutional barriers' among obstacles. Therefore, it should be accompanied by the interest, implementation and institutional support of I-U-R subjects to raise the level of these two factors that can overcome 'I-U cooperation barrier'.

Academic resilience of individual competencies that have overcome fatal or chronic adversity seen as a excessive threat in academic scene is the psychological ability to overcome stress. This study is a survey research carried try to identify the factors that affect the academic resilience of nursing students. Interpersonal communication competence and happiness to target the nursing students of the total 554 people to investigate the effect on the academic resilience, were analyzed using the SPSS version 21.0. The main results are as follows. (1) academic resilience could vary depending on the grade, living arrangements, Interpersonal relationship, personality and academic performance. (2) academic resilience had a positive correlation with interpersonal communication competence(r=.46, p<.001) and happiness(r=.35, p<.001). (3) factors that had significant impact on academic resilience of nursing students were grade(p=.002), living arrangements(p=.001), academic performance(p<.001), interpersonal communication competence(p<.001) and happiness(p<.001) and explanatory power was 36.9%. Through this study, interpersonal communication competence and happiness were identified as having the positive effect on academic resilience. As a follow-up, in order to improve academic resilience, a study to develop programs that would promote interpersonal communication competence and happiness are suggested.
Conventional studies on technology acceptance have focused on information technology for utilitarian value and hence based on 'theory of reasoned action'. Correspondingly, the studies depend on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use as rational decision making elements. However, in ubiquitous society, innovative technologies are applied to non-task area, as well as task-oriented area. Therefore, users are more influenced by affective factors than cognitive factors in causing their usage intention. In line with those discussions, we cannot make sure that the conventional technology acceptance model could fully explain the current u-service acceptance phenomenon. Hence, to overcome the limitations of the prior technology acceptance studies, we propose an amended TAM which includes one hedonic factor and two factors on ubiquitous computing technology : ubiquity and intelligence.
The development of the Information Technology(IT) has brought enormous change to the human life, not even only to the politics, economy, society, and cultures, but all the way through the people's consciousness and cultural patterns. However, the information society resulted information inequality issues and especially to those disabled people, who have more difficulties on the technology adaptation, the "digital divide" symptom is significantly found. At present the rapid development of IT has gone beyond the level of the information society and it is accelerating the ubiquitous society that will combine people, computers, and all objects into one. And during the time of ubiquitous the "digital divide" will still exist. This research is focused on the digital divide of disabled people that were insufficiently covered in the research of digital divide and ubiquitous. From the empirical study of the effect that the disabled contributes on the service usability in U-City, the factors of background of the digital divide, and the difference of such factors in types of sex, ages, disabled types, and disabled class, and finally how the ubiquitous divide of the disabled affects have been researched. Based on the proposed study model and by analyzing the model by structural equation, following resulted was gained. (1) With the TAM (TAM : Technology Acceptance Model), which is commonly used in the studies of IT devices and services, the digital divide of the disabled cases cannot be identified sufficiently since it is not eligible for Using Intention of U-City Services. (2) In case of the disabled, the mental factors like willingness to overcome the impediment and accessibility like environment to meet the information services and ability to access the services are more effective on Using Intention of U-City Services rather than TAM.

Background: In Muslim majority countries (MMC) opioid use for pain management is extremely low. The underlying factors contributing to this are not well defined. Aim: The aim of this study was to survey the attitudes of cancer patients towards morphine use for pain management in a MMC and identify the factors that influence patient decisions to accept or refuse morphine as treatment for cancer pain. Settings/participants: Patients were questioned whether they had pain or not, the severity and the medications for pain management. Questions included what type of medication they thought morphine was, whether or not they would be willing to take morphine if recommended for pain management and the basis for their decision if they were against morphine use. Results: Four hundred and eighty-eight patients participated in the study. Some 50% of the patients who refused morphine use and 36.8% of the patients who would prefer another drug, if possible, identified fear of addiction as the basis for their decision. Reservation of morphine for later in their disease was the case for 22.4% of the patients who refused morphine use. Only 13.7 % of the patients refusing morphine and 9.7% of the patients who preferred another drug, if possible, cited religious reasons as the basis for this decision. Conclusions: Identifying the underlying factors contributing to low opioid use for pain management in MMC is important. Once the underlying factors were identified, all efforts should be taken to overcome them as they are barriers to improving patient pain management.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors that influence ego-resilience among adolescents who have experienced abuse by parents in South Korea. Methods: This correlational study used the 4th year cross-sectional data of the seventh-grade middle school students who participated in the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS) in fourth grade. Data analysis was performed by using SPSS/WIN 23.0 program, which included descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlations coefficient, and hierarchical regression. Results: The results of the hierarchical regression of model 5 revealed that the quality of peer relations played the most significant role in predicting ego-resilience of abused adolescents, followed by self-identity. Also, self-esteem, the quality of teacher-student relationships, excessive expectations from parents, and community awareness had a significant impact on the variance of self-resilience in abused adolescents. This regression model explained 42% of the variance. Conclusion: This study showed that ego-resilience, an asset and resource to help adolescents overcome adverse effects of abuse, was influenced by social environment as well as individual factors. In addition, social support from peers and teachers had greater influence on ego-resilience than support from family members. Thus, the factors identified in this study need to be considered in programs designed to improve ego-resilience as well as in policies for abused adolescents.

The propose of this study is to examine the economic stresses and coping strategies for elderly households depending on the variables of background, and to analyze the relations between these factors. Elderly households which satisfied the following criteria were recruited for participation: (a) reside in Seoul, or in the metropolitan area (b) live apart from their adult children after retirement and (c) ages over sixty. From September 20th, 2006 to November 30th, 2006, 296 were used for this research. First, the mean score of the economic stress level of elderly households was 2.87 out of 5, and the stress levels of income expenditure and asset debt were intermediate. The mean score of the economic coping strategy was 3.17 out of 5. In order to overcome economic stress, elderly households utilized reducing their expenditure, financial management, and re-employment. The level of elderly households' life satisfaction was 3.29 of 5 and the depression was 3.17 of 5. Second, there was a difference in accordance with the objective economic variables and the degree of the economic stress after the review of the variables of the elderly households and the coping strategy due to economic stress. The result shows that the households which had a low economic status and high economic stress from the objective viewpoint participated in more economic activities. Their reactions were to decrease the overall expenditure through reducing the expenditure rather than to manage the asset effectively through re-employment or to inaugurating a business. Third, I analyzed situational factors, economic stress, and economic coping strategy in order to compare relative contributors to psychological well-being through using regression. At the third phase in the process of analysis, the socio-psychological factors appeared to be significant factors contributing to psychological well-being. Regarding the stress caused by income expenditure increased, when elderly households were more concerned about reducing expenditure and re-employment, their feelings of depression increased.

The building construction projects include a variety of risk factors due to uncertainties. To succeed in the projects, it is important how risks are managed. Risk management is composed of identification, analysis and response. Especially, the risk analysis is important to objectively calculate significance of risk factors. This paper evaluates a method to find priorities of risks using the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process). The method has some defects; (1) the consistency becomes weak as the number of pair-wise compared risks is large, and (2) the input and output procedures are complex when risks are added to or removed from a risk database. Thus the paper adopts the PROMETHEE(Preference Ranking Organization METHod Enrichment Evaluations) analysis process which is able to overcome the limitation of the AHP restricted to 9 risk factors. The PROMETHEE makes the procedure of risk analysis simple, when the risk factors pull out and put in the risk database. The purpose of this study is to provide process of risk analysis to use the PROMETHEE.
