Over recent 20 years, with socioeconomic development and change of recognition of the population, more people are concerned about their health and appearance. To obtain the change of frequency of malocclusion and the demand for orthodontic treatment, with this trend, 2460 freshmen and students of Yonsei Univ. in 1991, aged from 18 to 21 were examined excluding 187 students who have history of orthodontic treatment, 86 students who are undergoing treatment, 39 students who have too much missing teeth to classify. After analize the frequency of malocclusion and the demand for orthodontic treatment, following results was obtained. 1. Sex ratio in the prevalence of malocclusion was $91.7\%/90.8\%$, male to female, so there was no sex predilection. 2. With regard to Angle's Classification, each percentage of Class I, Class II div. 1, Class II div. 2 and Class III was $61.6\%,\;11.3\%,\;1.9\%\;and\;16.7\%$. 3. Of Class I malocclusion, percentage of crowding was 53.2, this occupied the largest part of single findings and prevalent findings in combinations were also crowding - crossbite and crowding - Protrusion. 4. Of Class I malocclusion, over the portion of$95\%$, Bialveolar Protrusion have arised alone. 5. The distribution of Demands for orthodontic treatment of malocclusion were $41.3\%$ in males, and $51.3\%$ in females.

How the balanced national development policy will be propelled? We study for the vision of a construction of the three leading strategic business; Multifunctional Administrative city, Innovation city, Enterprise city. The balanced regional development of our counry promotes the development of the falling behind area and solves the inefficiency of over crowding from quantitative expansion of the Metropolitan area.
As an alternative to the conventional fixed appliance that uses orthodontic brackets, a simple round tube without a bonding base can be bonded to the tooth surface by covering the tube with flowable resin. In this technique, bent wires cannot be inserted into the simple tubes; therefore, repositioning of the simple tubes is often required for adjustments. To reduce repositioning of simple tubes, a dome-shaped resin covering of the simple tube can be designed with a customized in-and-out compensation, using three-dimensional computer-aided design software based on digital simulation of orthodontic tooth movement. In the present case, the use of simple tubes bonded with customized resin coverings in a Class I nonextraction case is described in a 17-year-old male, in whom moderate crowding of the anterior teeth was treated over an 8-month period. This case shows that simple tubes can be used as an alternative to brackets in some Class I nonextraction cases, with the potential benefit of reducing decalcification.

A short-turn bus is a bus that is operated within a subsection of an existing bus line. Previous studies regarding short-turn buses decided optimal turn-back points for a single bus line rather than a bus network. Also, in-vehicle crowding which has a significant impact on transit convenience was rarely considered. Therefore, this study aimed to develop a methodology to set priorities for the introduction of short-turn buses of bus lines and sections, considering crowding. To achieve this objective, we calculated occupancies and crowding alleviation benefits of existing bus lines overlapping a new short-turn route based on transit card data, before and after the introduction of short-turn strategy. Also, operator and social costs caused by the introduction of short-turn buses were calculated. Those procedures were iterated over bus lines and sections to operate a short-turn service, and a section whose benefit-to-cost ratio (B/C) is the largest in a line was selected to operate a short-turn service in the line. After, priorities of bus lines to introduce short-turn services could be determined based on B/C values, and the optimum total fleet size could be determined when a short-turn strategy is applied in multiple lines.
Purpose: The aim of this study is to understand the internal and external responses that consumers experience when they are exposed to an innovative system in retail stores. This study considered the SST(Self-Service Technology) system in a retail setting as a type of functional environmental stimuli and selected a smart shopping cart as an example of SST system. The influences of functional environmental stimuli on consumers' emotional, cognitive, and behavioral responses were examined by applying S-O-R model. In addition, this study attempted to extend the traditional S-O-R model by (a) incorporating personal characteristics variables such as time pressure and perceived crowding and (b) considering not only emotional but also cognitive aspects of consumers' internal responses. Research Design, Data, and Methodology: This study used a video-scenario technique. Participants watched a video about grocery shopping situations using a smart shopping cart and responded to their emotional, cognitive, and behavioral responses. An online survey was conducted using Amazon's Mechanical Turk (N = 185). All participants were US consumers over 20 years old and had been shopping at the grocery store in the last month. Data were analyzed through structural equations modeling with AMOS 20. Results: Test results showed that consumers who perceived higher levels of time pressure and perceived crowding in usual shopping situations were more likely to evaluate the SST system favorably. The results showed that personal characteristics have a significant impact on consumers' evaluation of functional environmental stimuli in retail setting. As consumers evaluated the SST system favorably, they experienced more positive affect and less negative affect during their shopping behaviors. Positive affect led to good service quality inference, which further increased patronize intention. However, negative affect did not show a significant impact on service quality inference, but only on patronize intention. Conclusions: This study attempted to investigate the influence of SST system by extending the traditional S-O-R model. This study classified the SST system as functional environmental stimulus of retail stores and analyzed the effect of stimulus on consumers' internal and external responses. The results of this study showed that the introduction of innovative SST can serve as an effective store differentiation strategy in an increasingly competitive retail environment.

A rural area of Korea is inferior compare to urban areas in physical settlements, and an elderly people of the inhabitant increased and it is not easy to see young people in a rural villages. It comes from income difference between industrial type and area and leaving rural area are the accelerated and repeated, and resident who live in rural area after twenty to thirty years can be an elderly society A settlement of rural area is needed settlement rehabilitation for elderly society as follows first, a model development and public support of settlement rehabilitation for rural areas. Second, village remodeling of farming village for elderly are discussed. The rehabilitate rural villages is expected an immigration from urban area which over crowding, and eco tour as new industry.
The gas phase pyrolyses of eight esters have been studied by MNDO-MO method. In the ethylformate pyrolysis, ${\alpha}$-methylation had a steric releasing effect whereas ${\beta}$-methylation had a steric crowding in the transition state; the latter, however, is over-compensated by a greater electronic repulsion resulting in a net steric releasing effect. Considerations of formal charges and geometrical changes involved in the activation led us to propose a pyrolysis mechanism in which a preequilibrium of acidic proton transfer is followed by the rate-limiting bond polarization of $C_{\alpha}$-O bond in a cyclic transition state.
The objective of this article is to explore the economic relationship between China and the surrounding dynamic Asian economies. It delves into China's influence over the Asian economies and whether this relationship is a market-led or de facto symbiosis. The three principal channels of regional integration analyzed in this article are trade, FDI and vertically integrated production networks. They are essentially based on the activities of the private-sector in these economies. China methodically expanded and deepened its economic ties with the regional neighbors. At the present juncture, China's integration with the surrounding Asia is deep. Another issue that this article explores is the so-called China "threat" or "fear" in Asia. It implies that China is crowding out exports of the other Asian economies in the world market place. Also, as China has become the most attractive FDI destination among the developing countries, it is apprehended that China is receiving FDI at the expense of the Asian economies. These concerns were examined by several empirical studies, and the inference is that they are exaggerated. This article concludes that the private-sector business activities in China and other rapidly growing Asian economies were (and are) instrumental in bringing together the production structures and real economies. The result is both convergence and integration among the dynamic Asian economies. Over the years China and its Asian neighbors has developed a close and symbiotic economic relationship and a de facto regional integration.
Distributions trends were examined in 9159 malocclusion patients who had been examined and diagnosed at Department of Orthodontics, College of Dentistry Yonsei University over a 6 year-period from 1992 to 1997. The results were as follows ; 1. The total number of orthodontic patients in 1997 increased in comparing with that of 1992(86%) and after 1995, the number of annual patients showed an increase. 2. Age distribution had shown over-19 year-old group being the largest(39.9%) but percentages of pre-adolescent patients had been decreasing while that of adult patient had gradually increased. 3. Distributions in the types of malocclusion, the Angle's Classification had shown : 33.3% for Class I, 28.6% for Class II and the largest 38.1% for Class III. 4. Among Class I patients, crowding showed the largest(32.6%) and protrusion group had gradually increased to 33.9% in 1996. Otherwise openbite and crossbite groups tend to decrease, annually. 5. Geographic distribution showed a majority of patients from Seoul(above 70%). Among the patients from Seoul, group within the distance 3-6Km from Yonsei dental hospital was the largest(32.3%) and group within 9Km showed 69% of total patients.

In this paper, we investigated abnormal ESD failure on guard-rings in the smart power IC fabricated with $0.35{\mu}m$ Bipolar-CMOS-DMOS (BCD) technology. Initially, ESD failure occurred below 200 V in the Machine Model (MM) test due to current crowding in the parasitic diode associated with the guard-rings which are generally adopted to prevent latch-up in high voltage devices. Optical Beam Induced Resistance Charge (OBIRCH) and Scanning Electronic Microscope (SEM) were used to find the failure spot and 3-D TCAD was used to verify cause of failure. According to the simulation results, excessive current flows at the comer of the guard-ring isolated by Local Oxidation of Silicon (LOCOS) in the ESD event. Eventually, the ESD failure occurs at that comer of the guard-ring. The modified comer design of the guard-ring is proposed to resolve such ESD failure. The test chips designed by the proposed modification passed MM test over 200 V. Analyzing the test chips statistically, ESD immunity was increased over 20 % in MM mode test. In order to avoid such ESD failure, the automatic method to check the weak point in the guard-ring is also proposed by modifying the Design Rule Check (DRC) used in BCD technology. This DRC was used to check other similar products and 24 errors were found. After correcting the errors, the measured ESD level fulfilled the general industry specification such as HBM 2000 V and MM 200V.
